First Socket of the Heavenly Garden A nice distance from any semblance of civilization, Socket has found a little spot of isolation where she's hopefully unlikely to be noticed. A tiny tributary creek trickles on its way to join the rolling river, and provides a nice opening in the forest.

Socket arrives well before sunset, taking a bit of time to check her notes and that the markings were ready, then pulling the cloth from her horse, smiling at it, "You look so pretty!" she announces to the glimmering golden clockwork. While not really the purpose of the cloth, it's nice how it keeps all that grime off the lovely metal. She takes a few moments to see if there are any repairs that need to be done on her steed. It had been quite the project to get it going in the first place. Satisfied that there isn't maintenance to be done at the moment, she uses the little creek to rinse the cloth, and then finds a nice spot to hang it from some branches... which will hopefully block a bit more sight in case someone is remotely nearby. Though that's unlikely to really provide terribly much help.

Silk Moon Lotus Holding up the map that First Socket gave her. "It says to take a left at the big rock. Which big rock?" Silk looks around again and spots a very large rock.
"That must be it" she starts heading upstream listening for First Socket or their horse. R% After another twenty minutes of walking upriver, Silk spots a piece of cloth flapping on a tree branch. "That must be where they are. Unless it is beeastmen again."
First Socket of the Heavenly Garden Providing directions is not entirely one of Socket's strongest skills. It turns out that when you have an eidetic memory, the explanations for how to get somewhere don't always align with how other people think about it. It also doesn't help if you lived most of your life indoors in a manse and have a horribly thick Old Realm accent, since Socket just picked up rivertongue last week (this is likely an exaggeration).

Socket is busy getting a few more preparations ready, gathering some collection of strange materials that she sets out, preparing for the strange ritual. She tends to focus a bit and even though she's sort of waiting impatiently for Silk to arrive, she doesn't notice her from a distance.

Silk Moon Lotus Silk steps away from the river a little and starts heading towards the cloth. The sounds coming from upriver are definately not what she expects in the woods.

Not really thinking about it, she starts walking more carefully to ensure she doesn't startle the person up ahead in case it isn't Socket. after 5 painful minutes of watching her step, Silk brushes the cloth aside seeing that it is indeed Socket and her very unusual horse. Silk says in a low tone to not startle her "Psst, Socket, I found it ok."

First Socket of the Heavenly Garden Socket is... distinctive, particularly as she sort of sings something to herself in Old Realm as she works, and then little tools made of solidified essence spill out from the bangles on her wrists.

Which isn't even to mention her 'horse' which is a giant golden statue, a life-sized repicla of a horse made of plates of orichalcum filled with moonsilver clockworks and who knows what else. The fact that she blithely refers to it as her horse may be one of her stranger traits. Well, if it weren't for the fact that it's pretty much in keeping with how the rest of her is. Socket turns about and smiles, "Silk! Hi! Welcome! Thanks! I'm glad you're here. I was worried I was going to get started before you got here. How was your trip? Would you like some tea?" She pauses, to glance back over at the items, "Maybe no tea. Can't be sure it hasn't... anyway! Welcome! I'm glad you're here, I'm going to be busy and I hoped this spot seems far enough out that there won't be too much attention?"

Silk Moon Lotus "Well, I only got lost twice so I'm sure it is far enough from everything for whatever you have planned."

Silk steps into the clearing and spots a place away from all of Socket's stuff. "I'll just sit over here while you work. I'm sure this requires all of your concentration." Silk pulls a small blanknet from her pack and sets in on the ground so she doesn't get more dirt on her clothes. After sitting down she pulls a pair of lather gloves on and extends the Orichalcum blades out. "Just in case.

First Socket of the Heavenly Garden "Oh,no! You got lost? I'm sorry! I'll make sure that isn't what happens next time." She sighs, then looks back to Silk. "Mmm, well, you sure? Need anything? It will, yes, but I think I'm about ready and I need to wait for the sun to go down just a bit more before really getting started, and then I'll be pretty busy for a few hours..."
First Socket of the Heavenly Garden The sun starts to get low, and as it starts to dip down over the horizon, Socket gets properly to work, focusing her energies into a collection of runes and mixing a collection of items, carefully calibrating the local essence and sharping and reshaping and carving it into the necessary shapes to support the great metaphorical tunnel she is building with it.
Silk Moon Lotus Silk perks up to see that Socket is finally getting down to business but remains quiet. She knows enough about what is happening to not distract the practicioner. She start scanning the coming darkness in case something else comes for them.
First Socket of the Heavenly Garden As the night goes on, Socket continues through her process, reshaping the essence in that clearing to reshape and focusing and spending her energy on allowing that connection to be built to MAlfeas, to call and pull the spirit forth as she continues with her sorcerous rites, as the night gets darker and eventually we have nearly reached midnight and something has decidedly started to change as it seems that while it had been part by part before, everything is glowing from the sorcery and something is starting to coalesce in the center of the clearing.
First Socket of the Heavenly Garden The glowing essence soon seems to pull together, to gather all into a much smaller spot as a large cry almost a scream seems to come from that spot, as the demon is pulled into this place whether it likes it or not. It forms, humanoid, hairless, sleek, androgynous, and yet strangely incredibly attractive, the demon coming forth as it's hard to tell given the weird spirit language she speaks, which may be what her accent is from, as Socket is either chanting bits of ritual or talking at it as she focuses all the more at it as her forehead glows a bit as she speaks to the demon, to gain that binding control from the summoning.
Silk Moon Lotus Silk springs up from her sitting position to a combat crouch seconds after the creature appears. She quickly glances at Socket and can see she is already engaging the creature in some kind of magical staring contest.

She rolls her shoulders and shifts her weight as she was trained. "Everything good so far?" she calls out quietly as to not distract Socket.

First Socket of the Heavenly Garden Socket is more than capable of handling the multiple thoughts at once, but less so to actually particularly respond to Silk's comment while locked in the battle of wills with the demon to bind it to her will.
First Socket of the Heavenly Garden It takes a bit of focus, as Socket seems to be drawn in a bit as she looks at the Neomah she has summoned forth, but then she says something to the demon in old realm, announcing... something, as she binds the demon to her for a year and a day, rather overtaking the demon's resolvee, as she then seems to sigh, and reaches out, to touch the demo, then she seems to flare all the more as energy pours out of Socket's caste mark, and the demon seems to almost fade for a moment, and certainly the near daylight close around Socket as she does... something more still to the demon afterwards makes the things she'd done to try to 'hide' her little clearing seem very silly indeed.
Silk Moon Lotus Seeing the raw essence pouring from Socket and her anima flare that brightly tells her indeed why she chose such a remote location.

Silk watches in awe as Socket binds the demon (it doesn't look that dangerous to her). She watches the demon to make sure it isn't going to suddenly attack or attempt to flee. Several minutes pass before she decides that Socket has indeed won the battle of wills. "So, new friend?"

First Socket of the Heavenly Garden Socket turns and looks over towards Silk, which may not be the most pleasant result as the spotlight from her forehead gets to be seared into her eyes. She is breathing heavily, a bit exhausted after all of that exertion of sorcerous and other sorts of energies. She smiles and says something in her spirit-language that almost feels like a magic language just by itself, then shakes her head, and says "Sorry... um, yes. New friends. Lots of friends here." She laughs, then laughs a bit more, "This is my new friend, Silk, She's going to help protect and watch and maybe some other things."
First Socket of the Heavenly Garden The neomah itself seems rather... uncertain what to do. It had arrived sort of screaming, not necessarily angry or sad or any other directed emotion, just a lot of intensity, and now in a way everything has changed with its newly imparted defining motivation and... whole shape of its essence which leaves it very confused and wishing it had work to do or something. So, it turns towards Silk, and decides that obviously she's what Socket had summoned her to help with, and approaches towards her.
Silk Moon Lotus Silk takes several deep breaths and brandishs her blades towards the neomah. "What esactly is it doing?"

Silk starts to melt into the shadows and all semblence of what identifies Silk disappears within the shadows.

First Socket of the Heavenly Garden Socket sighs, and looks over to the things she had out for the ritual and collects a large flask from them and then starts to drink the contents. It's important to have water ready after something that will be a great deal of exertion. She calls over, "Um, she's probably saying hello... Where'd you go?"
First Socket of the Heavenly Garden The Neomah is certainly much better at subtlety than Socket, but she's not necessarily being so right now, though she's not entirely pleased about how Silk had disappeared. She was certainly planning to touch you, though that seemed like it was intended to be perhaps a caress, and being sort of near her that doesn't necessarily sound bad, she smells...rally nice.
Silk Moon Lotus By watching the neomah for a few moments she quickly determines it wants to touch her and not eat her. Silk lowers her blades and the shadows melt away from her once more.

"Is it dangerous for it to touch me?" Turning to the neomah. "If I give you some of my hair will you stop looking at me like that?"

First Socket of the Heavenly Garden The Neomah smells so nice and so pretty. It seems like it's practically the largest crime you've committed to not be reaching out to it yourself.

She seems rather pleased by the disappearance of the shadows hiding you away. Socket calls over, "No moreso than anyone else. You... might not want to make that offer. I should maybe explain a bit about her soon"

Silk Moon Lotus Silk looks into the neomah's eyes briefly and shakes off the mental alure.

Silk slips around the demon to stand by Socket. "An explaination would be great."

First Socket of the Heavenly Garden The Neomah is very much confused by Silk's reactions. It isn't as though she's done something to warrant such dramatic responses... the disappearing, the running around. All she's done is stand there and maybe sway her hips and bat an eyelash.

Socket is mostly just recovering from her event reshaping the demon to be obedient and really doesn't need anything from her immediately. She mostly just wants the backup. "Sure. I'll let you know." She looks at her empty flask and heads over towards the water, "Just... don't give her a bunch of hair or nails or other... you unless you feel like being a parent." she says a little dryly, "Otherwise, you can stop worrying so much." she says, with a sort of yawn, even as she lights up the area, as she goes over to get more water. The Neomah decides that it should just sort of stare and try to get a feel and understanding of what/who Silk is.

First Socket of the Heavenly Garden The Neomah stares at Silk for a little while, as they just sort of stand there a bit of distance from each other, as Silk seems so nervous about her.
Socket has not particularly noticed that bit of the interaction, she's mostly just trying to recover from her exertion and taking things in and knows she should probably have some sort of directions for the demon but she's not feeling a particularly big hurry to do so.
The Neomah smiles brightly after a bit of the staring... then she seems to slightly glow and start to change, staying very clearly a demon, but altering a few minor details like its gender, height, build, facial features, and other aesthetic traits to better appeal to what it saw Silk might be interested in.
Silk Moon Lotus "So, demon, do you have a name I should call you? Wait, do you talk at all? The demon monkey the other day didn't talk, just screeched."

Silk retracts the blades from her claws and relaxes a little. She turns to Socket saying "It's only fair you know my secret since I know your's now." Silk summons the essense coursing through her and causes her caste mark to glow, the sign of the Night.

First Socket of the Heavenly Garden "You can call me whatever you'd like" responds the Neomah with a little laugh, "And of course I'm nothing like that thing you saw. You're very little like a... monkey in one of those trees" she answers, this all seeming very obvious. It takes a few steps closer towards Silk, and it approaches closer, and now it's... even more attractive somehow, it has shifted to... while still being a demon rather perfectly match into Silk's type.
Silk Moon Lotus "So I'm not really interested in becoming a parent right now." She licks her suddenly very dry lips. "You are very...wow! very interesting."

Silk jumps into the cold river to make some room between herself and the demon.

First Socket of the Heavenly Garden Socket jumps in surprise as Silk hops into the river. "Um... what was that about?" She inquires over towards Silk.

"Well... whatever." She sighs, and she snaps her fingers over towards the Neomah, "Go ahead and build here if you like." She says over to it in her very old school old realm. The Neomah answers, "Thank you!" And then seems to start breathing out fire, but the fire seems to then almost condense as it starts to work on building its strange tower almost like a spider... that built a strange tower of brass and fire from its throat, constructing its strange nautilus-horn tower home.
