Tenken Tenken had sent short letters to the others requesting a meeting in the temple district, at his small non-descript grey building from which a small number of priests spreading his legend and accepting requests for aid operated from - it is a natural choice affording privacy, away from prying eyes, and medallions, to discuss matters related to The Order and following steps. After the tumultuous affair in the caves in which Tenken had been knocked out with some sort of poison, awakened by a new face and then hearing the prophetic message from an ancient devil stone, it seemed necessary to meet.

The letter was delivered by a courier wearing the simple garb of Tenken's war priests, in white kimonos and gray overcloaks. They said little when delivering the messages to the recipients, characteristic of the priests, and disappeared as quickly as they appeared.

The hour noon sun had already passed on the day of the meeting, and the hour was drawing close to the meeting. The main room of the small temple was empty except for Tenken, and some papers upon which he had gathered information related to recent events. He sat engrossed in thought as to his next steps following his experience in the caves, and being particularly wary of the medallions which he had stored in a separate building for safe-keeping, as the sorcerous workings clearly had hidden capabilities.

Amethyst Amethyst had gathered most of her important notes into a makeshift binder. She'd learned a lot in the time since they last met, and now would be the time to share. And so she wraps her hands and feet, gathers her materials, looks towards the impression in the wood, and departs with Hoarfrost, heading towards the temple well ahead of the meeting time.
Bright Journey This skulduggery thing isn't Bright Journey's first choice, perhaps, but she's clearly not entirely unused to it. Her voluminous black cloak actually works reasonably well, so long as she flips her hood up to hide that bright pink hair and closes her cloak to keep the shiny metal armor out of immediate view.

With a brisk, purposeful tread, she walks through the throngs in the city streets, wending her way around the crowds and past the stalls in the Temple District. She actually glances around Tenken's temple to...well, whoever it is he worships, but the front door seems to be the entrance of the day. So be it.

Bright Journey takes one long look around to see if there's anyone watching, then walks inside.

Hoarfrost Perhaps not invited by name Hoarfrost heads off with Amethyst curious about the one who has been having her do all this research. Her own notes safely secure in her shoulder satchel. Trying her best to clean up a little so she is not screaming forest witch where ever she goes and perhaps only saying weird forest person.
Rishi Rishi awakens that morning with a long, languid stretch shiting from her winged lynx form back into her true self, bewinged and beclawed. Checking the position of the sky, she decides that, for such meeting new clothing would be appropriate and commands her Anhules to manifest and weave for her a new outfit. Once attired, she weaves her cloak of essence to obscure her true nature and sets upon her journey into the city, pausing only once along the way.
And so, a young woman arrives at Tenken's temple, her skin the ochre brown of the southeast, her hair like a waterfall of dark silk, and her curves barely contained by a backless halterneck dress and silk trousers, with a leather cloak her only concession to modesty. She also carries a satchel and two bags of pears.
Spring Wind An average looking if somewhat oddly clean brown rat has scurried into the temple, making a few practiced leaps onto the table before beginning to wash her face... Then spitting off to the side and resuming a much larger form as that of a masked woman in earth tone clothing. "Got your letter. This promises to be interesting, I must say." she observes, turning to look at Tenken. "And you have additional people... Interesting." she observes. It does catch her eye, however, that Amethyst and Hoarfrost are here. "Oh hey, you two." she observes, a grin forming beneath the simple cloth over her lower face. "...Didn't peg you for a city type, but here we are." she adds, directing her gaze a bit more towards Hoarfrost than not.
Tenken As people enter the small temple, they pass through a small antechamber with a vague and weathered statue, almost too beat-up to make out any distinguishing features. The statue has its left hand extended in a gesture of aid, with a protecting sword held out as if blocking for an unseen recipient. The face is weathered and chipped, and robes show cracks in the stonework. Most would assume a minor or old and less worshipped war god. Passing through the antechamber, the main room is lit with torches ensconced in the walls in the walls. By the torchlight, they are able to see Tenken, who is standing near the center of the circular room. The room is spartan in nature, with a stone floor and little other than a circular table at the center carved from cherry wood. Tenken is a tall man of fairly average build standing about 6'1", and his physical appearance belies a certain degree of athleticism. He has high cheekbones, grey eyes, and slightly wavy hair that is mostly light-brown, with some strands of golden and silver hairs that shine under the light. His face is framed by bangs on the left side of his face and an eyepatch covers his right eye, through which a thin red scar runs vertically.

Tenken wears no form of visible 'armor', though a light black buff jacket is worn which guards his torso. This is generally paired with black kimono style garments, and a grey cloak matching his eyes is draped over his shoulders. His arms are usually uncovered by the sleeves of this outergarment, which can sometimes hide his hands behind the folds of the robes. The hilt of a single sword can be seen tucked into his waistband through the front opening of his robes, though the rest of the lacquered wooden scabbard is hidden within the folds of his outergarments. The curved single-edged blade has a rectangular cross-guard, and is decorated with cherry petals. He wears sandals on his feet, and the sash at his waist is a scarlet red. Despite having only one visible sword hilt, burgeoning legends all reference Tenken as dual-wielding twin blades that appear ethereal in nature. From his shoulders and back sorcerous blue-white translucent wings that look and move about similar to tentacles sway slowly, keeping the general form of wings though they would appear physically unable to support flight by most scientific standards. To the casual observer, one would assume a sorcerous or spiritual nature when viewing Tenken.

As people filter in, Tenken smiles and greets them individually, nodding to them. When everyone arrives, he says "Thank you for coming everyone, I appreciate it. As you know, I along with some friends have been investigating a group referred to as The Order - their activities in the city and elsewhere are of concern, as they are behind kidnappings and attacks too numerous to count. As we have all been involved with this, it is also safe to assume that some of us, or all of us, may be under observation. I personally have had numerous run-ins with The Order, and have been attacked twice... I think it is best to vary our routes and patterns of daily life, and take some precautions, especially when and where we meet. This building will serve well for the first meeting, but we should likely vary things up. In the investigations, I have found The Order to be operating in all major regions, particularly in major cities, and are targeting young women as well as supernaturals generally... that makes all of us fall into their target categories in some way." Glancing around the room, he takes in the members of the group, and nods to a few who knew of his status as an exalt, and vice versa. He doesnt say it outright, but he assumes that others in the group may be as well, and he doesn't make an effort to hide the starmetal on his person.

Spring Wind "If this were just, 'Young women' I'd suspect sex trafficking. Kinda wondering what you mean by, 'Supernaturals' though. We talking people with unusual lineages? Spirits? Some sorcerer out there is going to be pissed if their demon is kidnapped for being hot." Spring says, though her expression shifts more towards frustration or anger shortly thereafter, "They've been targeting a number of poorer folks, ask anyone about how I feel about that and they'll tell you I take it personally-Wait, no. I don't care about my reputation, this is just wrong in general."
Bright Journey Once inside, Bright Journey briskly walks to the table and around it partway, to make room for others coming in. She looks a great deal more serious and less charming or friendly than usual, that's for certain. She flips her hood back, and her cloak back behind her epaulets, to reveal the long pink hair and gleaming golden, flexible armor she wears. She is looking intently at the front door as people are coming through, and spares but a nod for Tenken, at least at first.

Finally, after everyone is through and the door closed, she relaxes a bit, taking in the sight of everyone here. Clearly, there's not a lot of secrets among these people. One, clearly a Lunar, shifted shape right in front of everyone! Others show obvious traits, and still others, like herself, have clearly impressive hardware on their persons. Bright isn't carrying a weapon, but her armor is superior and much like the rat, she's -too- clean. Pristine, even.

"You're more right than you know, Tenken," Bright replies. "I know for certain I was followed here. I'm fairly sure I shook my tail before coming here." She pauses briefly, eyeing Tenken. "Not that way. But I'm curious whether anyone else noticed they might be being followed. Also, Tenken, is anyone you invited missing? I don't see Silk Moon Lotus."

Hoarfrost Clearly uncomfortable with the hustle and bustle of the people outside Hoarfrost is relieved to finally make it inside. Setting at the large round table and looking at those gathered. A few familiar faces to be sure. She gives a wave to a few, some might not even recognize her in a normal human form. "Silk was meant to be here? I hope she is okie." Looking a little more worried at the disappearance of the young Lawgiver.
Amethyst "I don't like that one of us has already gone missing. I do have information to report when the floor is given to me." Amethyst says. And she eyenarrows at Spring, and the lack of reactions from everyone else to her. "Just how many of us gathered in this room are an-" and she stops herself from saying Anathema, and focuses, "Chosen?" She looks at Hoarfrost as tho to confirm that she used the term properly.
Rishi After she enters, Rishi moves off to the side, looking around as she does so. Not seeing any bowls, she shugs, places one of her bags of pears on the table, before moving back against the wall. Once everyon has arrived and the door is closed, she stretches, her cloak unfolding into wings, her tail snaking down behind her, and her legs stretching into their full didigrade form.
She cocks her head, her hair flowing around, restrained only slightly by a hairband made from vines and flowers. "Many eyes are always upon me when I travel through this place, but I have noticed not anyone following." She smiles. "I shall hide better when next we meet."

At the mention of the Order she frowns. "I only know of what we found with the Rock Roller. What have you all discovered?"

Rishi looks around once more, seeing new faces. "I am the one known as Rishi. I am a healer of no small ability through the blessing of Luna."
Tenken "Silk was invited, but her absence is concerning... she may be otherwise busy but someone should check to make sure she's okay." Addressing Spring Wind, he says "Supernaturals so far means sorcerors, princes of the earth, a number of spirit familiars along with their masters, and also a smaller number of the Chosen..." The implications of his statement can easily be discerened, as being targeted he falls into the latter category. "I agree that I had a similar thought until I noticed the pattern of targeting being much wider in scope."

To Bright, Tenken nods, "So far I have been able to avoid being followed to my primary residence, but I believe they have discovered this location by now. This is probably when we are at our safest though - in a group... so I think varying out meeting locations and routes is the right move. We probably can't avoid truly determined surveillance in total."

"I believe that not everyone has met me, but I would like to extend my help to anyone who should need it - I greatly appreciate the aid you all have provided thus far in this investigation. I plan on continuing on this path, and if anyone has new information they are willing to present, please do so... for the sake of this city and also self-preservation, I believe that it is prudent that we coordinate with eachother."

Bright Journey Bright taps her chin thoughtfully and looks at Tenken. "Well...hrm. It would be folly to assume they know nothing of the cave where we found that prophecy, though they may -not- know Silk is now living there. She already knows she might want to find a new place, and this only cements it. I'll go back there and check once this is over, and if any of you wish to come, be more than welcome. I've fought a few cultists and alone they weren't much, but they do have demon summoners among them. I've killed a couple blood apes already, and I think we can assume more are on their way. I never did kill their leader, sadly.

"But on to other things. I do have a vague idea of what we can do to track them down--a wounded horse gambit, essentially--but I wish I knew a lot more about all this myself." She looks at Amethyst. "I'm sorry, I don't think I learned your name, but you said you had information?"

Amethyst Amethyst speaks up, "Hello. For those who do not know me, I am Yim Amethyst, Alchemist and Sorceress. My father, a Child of Danaa'd, had gone missing at least two months ago, and I've been searching since. That search lead me first to ambush a pair of these Order folks with Spring Wind here. And then, when I investigated this particular cave, we discovered a lot that I'm sure Tenken is better informed of. As for me, I thought I reocgnized the agent responsible for the deep sleep we find our victims in."

"And so first is the substance in question. Sleeping Willow is its colloquial name, made from three central ingredients and a handful of other reagents I have sitting around. The first, is viper venom." Amethyst just produces a small jar of the stuff and sets it on the table. "This is easy. Used in many different ingredients. The other two will be considerably more difficult to track down. But I am confident, that not only can I make this substance, with effort I will be able to develop an anti-toxin as well as a manner to give us resistance to it."

"That brings me to the other two ingredients, Sorrowthorn and Sageroot. The former grows in shadowlands, frequently used to induce incredible 'bouts of depression and lethargy, the flower's thorns are more deadly than the distillation. Fortunately, Hoarfrost here knows a spot where they grow. It's only a matter of retrieval. Sageroot, on the other hand, will be much harder to acquire. It grows only in bordermarches near the wyld. I know of a place where I can find them, but it is in the midst of the Dreaming Sea. I'm sure with enough means we could purchase them from the guild, but I'd like to leverage my financial ability as little as possible until I am better established, purchasing them might well bankrupt me."

"Finally, there is a plan." Amethyst reveals one of her own tattoos, an intricate rune on her upper arm that glows as she focuses, her hand glowing similarly. "Through my sorcery I can now dive into the memories of others. If our prisoners know where the captives are being held, I'll be able to find it with some trial and error. In case that doesn't work." Amethyst breaths, steading herself. "So long as I render myself nearly immune to the substance, I could allow them to capture me. I'm sure we can create some manner of working to crack me. I would not stay sedated for very long and I'd be able to work towards escaping, while you guys would be lead right to their holding location. This is a plan with considerable risk, but I now have hard evidence they're behind my father's kidnapping."

"So I am more than willing to task the risk."

Spring Wind "..." Spring is quiet, but then starts slowly clapping as she's clearly quite impressed. "I've heard of some of us hijacking venoms-Y'know. Wild shapeshifters, lunar exalted, whatever you want to call us. I might, emphasis might, be able to find out how to do that but all this... Moon-essence stuff is damn intuitive. So hi, I'm the Rat Queen of Great Forks. If you think it'd be less risky, I can have some of the guys I sometimes talk to keep an ear to the street. Tell anyone else to sleep with one eye open, if they're targeting women that's something to pass on." she says, "-But I'm gonna put this out there, as this seems out-and-out bizarre even though it's probably obvious: Who the /hell/ comes up with a sleep drug that uses bits from shadowlands and the Wyld both? That's like fire and water when you're probably not trying to build a sauna."
Hoarfrost Hoarfrost's attention perks a bit at Rishi's comment. Red eyes focused on her for a moment wondering if they have met before at a pact meeting. A healer of Luna herself she gives a wave wondering if the other would recognize her.

Turning her attention to the group she speaks up. Voice quieter than most, soft and kind. "There is a prophecy? Maybe we should make sure everyone is one the same page as far as information."

Smiling as Amethyst give the breakdown of all of the parts of the drug. "I have a sketch I mage of the Sorrowthorn I made while traveling through the shadowlands. So we know it grew there at least a few years ago. I'm getting ready to travel north to retrieve it."

Rishi Rish headtilts, giving Amethyst a once over and then examining the materials she placed on the table, then she nods. "Yes, that is the poison that I smelled. This is a good plan that you have, but better that you should have company. I am not much in a fight, but have eaten a mouse, so you could carry me with you.
Rishi gives a wave to Hoarfrost. "Ah, you are the Hoarfrost I have heard of? Then we should talk before you leave, to discus our magics."
Spring Wind "Wow, /rude/. That could have been me!" Spring says, then gives a light laugh. "I mean really though, you're good." she says, waving her hand dismissively. "I can fight, Weal and Woe are handy." she notes, patting the sheathed daggers strapped to the back of her waist. "Of course if you don't want me to solve a problem with stabbing-slash-slashing, I can hoodwink most people if given the chance to talk." she adds, "-Oh, right. I can go over the forms I can do on a need to know basis. I'm still a little leery of sun folks not gonna lie."
Amethyst "I never considered that the chosen of the moon could become tiny little pocket-sized packages." Amethyst muses. "To think that a few week ago I would've been screaming 'Anathema', and now I might be trusting my life to them. I live in weird times."

Amethyst shakes her head. "I have a picture of sageroot myself, but it's back in the book I found it in. And they are quite peculiar ingridents. Sageroot is typically used for inducing visions, but it can also be used for forcing one to sleep. Mixed with the venom, and it causes one to have a fevered sleep. And mixed with the sorrowthorn, it makes them extremely weary and complacent even if they can avoid the fairly peaceful fainting it brings to its victims. And using a terrestrial, wyld, and shadow ingridents, it also ensures that there are no good ways to resist it."

Tenken Tenken grins at the brazen plan Amethyst presents, but says "That plan of yours is really something... the information you presented is going to be very useful, and I think if we can track it down and make an anti-toxin that will go a long well no matter what actions we take next. Im sorry to hear about your father, and I will do whatever I can to help. With this said, I believe we should interrogate the prisoners first, and then take some steps to eliminate the need for you to be captured if possible... but your willingness to do so is appreciated and I admire your bravery in the face of this."

As the others speak up, particularly Rishi, he says "Well, if someone isn't taken alone I believe this does give a higher chance of success to this kind of mission, but I'm hesitant to split our forces in such a scenario. We don't know the entire structure of the group, but I have heard rumors that there are elements much stronger than what we have face so far."

As Spring Wind mentiones her wariness of the Solar exalted, Tenken smiles disarmingly. "I understand, and I'm sorry if any of my kind has brought you hardship. I assure you though that you have no reason to worry when it comes to myself, though actions will be the best way to be sure of this. I know that taking others at their word isn't always the safest of bets, so I hope that over time you begin to trust me. You now have confirmation as to my nature, and in this knowledge comes a degree of trust and a shared bond, as this knowledge is dangerous to me -- just as it is for others in this room as our kinds have been hunted before and still are, by more than one group it seems now."

With regard to the prophecy..." Tenken picks up a rolled paper on the table and reads -- ""The Silken Lotus Flower in the light of the Maiden of the Moon, the Archer of Heaven's Light illuminating the Path, the Divine Blade of Dawn's Wrath, and the mortal among giants destined for ascendance - When The Order accumulates 1,000 maidens' souls within the arrogant vessel of madness, when The Order attains the soul chains of all aspects of the elements, when the essence of the gods, demons, and ghosts entwine, the vessel of madness will rise as the ever self-destructing Doll of Mud in the Walker's Gardens.... stun, flicker, and disrupt the sleep. The illuminated path averts the atrocity of the soul sleep and death...Stay off the garden path"--

Bright Journey Well, all these talks of rats and mice seems to have Bright a bit stumped, and she goes to exchange a fond, I-have-no-idea sort of look with whoever else is not in that conversation. Probably just Tenken, at this rate. Instead of trying to parse those interesting little tidbits, she pays a great deal more attention to the herbs and the poison. This, at least, she has some background in. Bright doesn't get involved in the conversation, but she's clearly following along without difficulty.

She does, however, step in a bit when it comes to gathering them. "As it happens I have some advantages when it comes to collecting things like medicinal herbs, and I've done so more than a few times growing up." She chuckles faintly. "If you think you can work alongside someone who walks in the light of day. I think you'll find, though, that we share far more in common than we have differences. And when this is all over, maybe you'll all allow me to ask you a few questions about someone I'm looking for. Someone..." She pauses and looks to one side, and her voice lowers. "Someone I've been looking for for a long time. I hope we can work together on this, all of us."

Amethyst On the talk of the day and the sun, it prompts Amethyst to mutter something in high realm. And then she switches back to riverspeak, "It would be helpful if I could avoid capture, but, to be frank, I want a chance to find my father as well. A full frontal assault will not go well for that, especially if they are more powerful as you say. But a frontal assault combined with a rear sneaking around, we might be able to discover a whole treasure trove worth of information." And Amethyst thinks to herself . o 0 (And I might get a chance to take revenge against whatever they've done to my father)
Rishi % Rishi smiles at Spring Wind. "Ah, I have eaten the mouse long ago and far away, so it would not be you. And neither did it spring forth and poke me with knives, so it very much was not you." She smiles wider. "So, you will ride with us, yes? We shall hide in Amythst's pockets and when she is captured, we will all find where they have taken people, then I shall give her the cure and you shall go stab stab stab upon those responsible." She even does the hand motions for the stabbing, which is oddly charming.
Rishi looks slightly affronted at Amythst using the term Anathema, but simply says "I am a healer, chosen by Luna to help those who are suffering, either from illness, sickness, or who do not fit their bodies. This is a holy quest given unto me by the Softly Shining One and it is not to be treated lightly, nor is my dedication."

After Tenken recounts the prophesy, Rishi looks troubled. "Do you know who has as yet been taken? It would be best that we know how close their Working is to being in readiness."
Tenken "I dont know how many have been taken, but I hope that those in the prison may be able to help with that information.. if not, then it may require something like your plan with Amethyst and the 'stab stabs', as it would be guarded information by The Order.." Tenken grins softly, "But I'm sure with you three as the bait we have a good chance at success, at least in gaining information on the locations they are taking victims, how they move around, their routes, and perhaps more."

It would appear that some of us are referenced in that prophecy, and this is strange considering the ancient nature of that stone.. this will require more study but it feels that we have been brought together for a purpose higher than ourselves, and I am sure that I am on the right path regarding my own destiny."

The motley crew assembled here is the first such group to which Tenken had revealed his true nature to in a very long time, and it brought warmth to his soul to feel this connection.

To prepare for this, I believe interrogating the prisoners, preparation of the anti-toxin, and more information collection is necessary, but I do know the fragmented nature of the Order is designed so that determining its hierarchy and activities is difficult at best."

Spring Wind "I... Look, I know that you really believe it. It's old stories told by older lunars, that the sun-chosen descended into depravity in time. I don't want to believe it will happen again, but it'd be foolish of me to just ignore it too." Spring says, "I don't know how, why, or if it was specific circumstances... Maybe just the nature of some sources of strength. Who can say? I'll advise you, but don't think I won't call you out either."
Bright Journey Bright looks a little worried at the various Chosen of Luna as they come up with their plan. On the face of it it sounds insanely risky...but on the other hand, it's something Bright herself could never pull off. And as wacky as some of the conversation seems, it sounds like a reasonably put together plan, as those things go. She just nods and says, "Well...I trust all of you, and you know your abilities far better than I ever will. Just please, be careful. As hilarious as it sounds to have -three- of you suddenly appear in the middle of their lair, there's still plenty of them...and demons."

"As for the prophecy," Bright continues, "I'm a little worried, actually, by how -specific- that prophecy is. I am very well aware I have a capital-D Destiny, believe me, but I didn't think it would take me...here..." She pauses and thinks, looking all the Lunar Exalted over. "You know what? I take it back. It's starting to make a -lot- more sense, right this moment. I could not have known in the cave."

Bright frowns and thinks, looking at the papers and considering the herbs. "If you all will permit me, I think I will be of some help collecting the herbs, as I mentioned earlier. Please do not be alarmed by this."

With that, she holds out a hand and in a flash of silvery gold light, an exquisite weapon appears in her hand. A powerbow of bone wrapped in purest moonsilver, it barely shines from within. A brilliantly shining hearthstone gleams from the center, just beside the nock. "Like I said, I am not without skill in medicine, though I defer to you, Rishi, as I did in the cave." She gives Rishi a lopsided grin, clearly no hard feelings there. "But among other things, this gift from someone special to me helps me with those very tasks...and should evil bar our way, it will help with hunting down -them-, too. It would be an honor to join you, either into the Shadowlands or looking for the third herb."

Amethyst "I'm not used to being around you Chosen sorts yet. I was raised with the Immaculate Faith." Amethyst admits to Rishi, ears down. "And I'm not sure I really trust you guys yet, but we do seem to be working for a common goal, and I'm all alone now anyhow, so. Perhaps it's best I change some of my deep seated views of things." She sighs. "Some days I really wish that I would have become a daughter of Danaa'd myself... I am as a mortal among gods in this room."

Curiously, as Spring mentions the stories of the sun chosen, a particular glyph on her arm glows slightly, but only for a moment before Amethyst wills it to stop. She looks towards Bright, "Are we /all/ practiced in the art of Alchemy here?" She asks almost flabberghasted at the fact that she's surrounded by so many folks who can understand her art, and glad for the distraction from all of the sad.

Spring Wind "Iiii mean no. Not at all." Spring says, "I buy my stuff, unless the merchant is a pompous asshat at which point a few bottles, 'Mysteriously' go missing. You'd be surprised how often their attitude causes that."
Rishi Rishi smiles at Amethyst, then pulls her into a one armed hug. "It is ok, my people taught that those like us with the features of animals were ugly, lesser creatures. We can all rise above such filthy speaking." She extends her other arm out to invite Hoarfrost into a hug...and a third arm to Bright Journey? "The four of us shall go forth, learn froom each other, find these plants, and create an ideal cure for this poison!" She's smiling widely. "It shall be a fine adventure!"
Amethyst Amethyst hugs. "I was taught tho, that the dragons live in all of us, strange or not. And I think it extends even to the Anathema, er, the /Chosen/, where we all flow along with their tides. I wish I had some other perspective on the the dragons rather than just the one from the Order."

"And of course we can all go forth and learn. It'll be a fun adventure, we just need a good lead for the wyld one." Amethyst nods.

Bright Journey Bright Journey is smiling fondly at the newfound camaraderie, though the third arm gives her just a moment's pause before she leans in and gives the other three a big hug as well. Lunar she may not be, but the contented look on her face is no lie: This is what she -needs-, to get along with everyone else here. This is a part of that Destiny, no question. Perhaps the prophecy alludes to that?

"I'm looking forward to finding all of those, although I doin't think I'd be more than in danger in the Wyld yet, I think. I might be better off going elsewhere. As for what we've been taught..." Bright thinks a moment, still hugging everyone, and looks at Amethyst.

"I'll start by saying this. I never really learned much about the Immaculate Philosophy growing up. I was in Nexus when I was young, then in a small village later on. I...well, I'm not going to get into my life story here, but the supernatural never touched me at all, until I -wanted- it bad enough, and then it slapped me right in the face. The Dynasts didn't do anything to me, I earned what I got. But I've heard the stories the Immaculates tell. I think we all have. And I...well, I can talk your ear off, but even I can't be sure I could convince you with words that I'm not what the priests say I am. All I can do is ask you to look at my deeds."
