Amethyst Word has reached Spring Wind that the alchemist she'd met some weeks ago in a dark alley, the same one who's used the word 'Anathema', has sent a message along to Spring. Surprisingly, she's asked for the Lunar's services for some plan or the other she has. The message wasn't very detailed, just specifying where Amethyst's Amazing Alchemies is located.
Spring Wind Spring's gotten the message but this time prefers to approach in a fairly casual manner. Alchemy has all sorts of applications and it might seem even /more/ suspicious for a woman clearly avoiding recognition to enter the shop. For now though, blues and tans are favored on a simple tunic, leggings, and boots outfit. Walking in, she raises her hand in greeting. "I heard you wanted my help with something." she says, before taking a few moments to examine the area. No sense in tipping off any customers that might be in there.
Amethyst There's uh, a bit of chaos on the inside of this shop. Over in the foyer is a desk that has, for lack of a better time, been withered away like a stone against the ocean. And there's some marks in the floor here and there that show similar signs of this strange withering effect. There's a few folks gathered as Amethyst is making potions and mixtures for them at a feverish pace, with a sorta exacting precision you would've never thought of seeing in a mortal, not even one that's a sorceress. It takes her precious little time to satisfy the customers, before taking a moment to relax. She smiles, and she looks... different. The most striking are her eyes, which shine like the first bit of sun reflected off flowing waters.

"Yes, here, let us speak somewhere a little more... discrete." She says, nodding to herself and trying not to look /too/ excited or mischevious. SHe's failing miserably, and you've never seen Amethyst /this/ intense before.

Spring Wind "Someone's been through some recent events." Spring says, grinning. "-Though I'm not entirely sure what, exactly. I have my guesses though." she adds, following Amethyst towards whatever back room there may be. "Also I'm pretty sure this is going to be awesome, if only given that look on your face." she adds.
Amethyst So this backroom is... decidedly less put together than the sales floor. That same withering effect is everywhere around her. This is all stuff made out of fairly brittle wood, there's no way that something mundane is /melting/ it like this. And it's not like it was melted either, there's no blackening or discoloring of the wood, it's like it just plain /evaporated/. Fortunately Amethyst has seat cushions that are decidedly not withered. She takes a seat and giggles.

"Hmm, a lot's happened for me, that's for sure." Amethyst says, turning to the side and blowing a mist of water. It doesn't take long to put the dots together that she is a freshly exalted water dragon-blooded. "And I wanna steal from some Immaculate monks. I figured you would be a good choice to ask for help."

Spring Wind Blink. "What, you want their martial scrolls or something? Sorcery texts?" Spring asks, "I mean Weal and Woe have been pretty decent for me so far. You're a..." she says, trailing off for a few moments snapping her fingers then points. "Outcaste's the technical term, so they'd probably look at you funny if you just asked for it... Or they'd ask you to shave your head and recite bullshit multiple times a day." then shrugs. "Either way, I can see why you're asking me."
Amethyst "I could go to the Isle, be taken in by the Splendid and Just Arbiters of Purpose and Take the Razor, shave my beautiful hair and be spirited away to the Cloister of Wisdom to learn all the things that I wish to know. Except, some of those they call Anathema, aren't." Amethyst says simply. "So instead I want to find the bits of the Immaculate Text that they /don't/ share with the public. The things they really know about the Lunars and Solars. And martial arts texts wouldn't be bad either. I have a book over there, it's the obvious one with the golden spine. It has all sorts of stories in it, but for practical knowledge, it has but one piece of advice:"

"Go fetch a monk."

"And so I am not going to be so willing to bow down to some superior sort to fix my problems. Those problems certainly won't wait for the attention of others! And so I need to find a monk and learn his knowledge, or more simply steal what's in his books. And besides, heresy is easier when you have more material to work with. I have some things to rectify in the immaculate texts."

This entire monologue is complete with hand and full body gestures, also ear and eyes and all sorts of movements as she goes back and forth outlying the /brilliance/ of her plan (or her perceived brilliance). This is not the calm and collected and well mannered Amethyst that had presented her findings to their makeshift group at Tenken's little shrine. The exaltation has changed quite a bit about her personality, it seems. Or perhaps it just brought what was buried, to the surface.

Spring Wind "Well then. That might be difficult, but I can certainly try regardless. Their security et al is going to be tricky, but it's going to be worth the challenge." Spring says, "Do we have a site or some sort of storage area we're after? I can probably have a few lookouts and snitches in Immaculate-adjacent locations try to get info about it. Not like scouting but being near monks and hearing things slip regardless."
Amethyst "As of the moment? I don't have any intel. And it will be quite dangerous, so preparing first would be a great idea. We'll want to tilt things in our favor. But so long as it's somewhere near the Scavenger lands, the odds are already tilted in our favor, as they probably have their hands full managing all of the 'anathamatic' Chosen in and around this area. Of course, I'll be assisting in whatever ways I can, and I'm sure this won't be the only heist we pull off. Especially if I am to amass the fortune that I will need..." Amethyst just grins, her mind now having a thousand plans going.

"The question of course, is what you will have of me in exchange."

Spring Wind "Eh... I mean I could probably try to make heads or tails of this, funnel some info back to other lunars who might be interested. I know of at least a few that might consider it intel." Spring says, "Practical records are my main interest, but treatises on specific martial techniques or the like are probably worthwhile too. I mean it depends on what we can actually get... Copies of various documents are probably enough, really." she adds.
Amethyst Amethyst nods. "So you'll get the practical records and I'll take the immaculate texts, and we'll be even. I'll talk to a few other folks I know, and we'll meet back in due time to figure out a plan." Amethyst extends a hand. "Sounds like a deal?"
Spring Wind "Easily." Spring says, shaking Amethyst's hand. "Historical texts relating to, 'Anathema'." she says, finger-quoting the last word. "Are your main thing. I'm not going to ask for the originals unless you need them hidden or something."
Amethyst Amethyst nods. "Then we have a deal. It'll be a pleasure working with you, dear Lunar." She smiles a true smile, actually coming to realize she can and does trust these folks she would have once branded as evil beyond comprehension. All seems well to her now, as one more piece turns in motion.
