Amethyst IT's a quieter day. Amethyst has been living in the forest for a few days to get away from the city, like a little vacation from the constant worry about when the cult will finally makes its move on her. Perhaps she worries that it might not. None the less, her clothing is piled neatly at the side of the hot springs, but Ammie herself is nowhere to be found, which is strange because she asked Frosty to meet her here. And the water is just as calm and warm as it always is.
Hoarfrost Hoarfrost enters the little clearing of the hotspring in her centaur form. Rishis demon having not made anything to fit the shape yet some times she just ... doesn't bother in this form. Especially in her forest where she is most comfortable. Not like she need the clothes for warmth anyway. "Amethyst?" she askes the empty air before spotting the clothes. Wondering if she is enjoying being able to breath water. Carefully one hoof after another she steps into the warm water herself. Some water displacing over the edge as she does from her larger form. The air hisses from the heat. "Well I'll just enjoy the warmth while I wait." She hums happily.
Amethyst Now, There's nowhere to hide in the crystal clear water. Yet, there's a disturbance, like the water underneath suddenly shifting, and a hand on one of her hooves! Followed quickly by water everywhere, and a figure that's barely visible as her skin blends in with the environment around her. And she's grinning widely.
Hoarfrost "I didn't even see you there. Hope I didn't barge in." Voice sounding a bit apologetic. Shifting a bit to the deepest part of the pool hoping to get a bit more of herself under the water. "You are so perfect at blending though ... I hope I am not tooting my own horn for our work on that. I hope you are enjoying yourself?" smile just as wide as her love's
Amethyst The figure shifts the colors change and then there's the scaled figure of the alchemist they've changed. "I was waiting for you." And she retreats into the water just slightly, and then jets out of it, climbing atop of the taur part of Frosty. And she snuggles against her. "It's amazing to be me again."
Hoarfrost The back of the Lunar's tauric half is strangely good curve to it for laying on. Perfect for snuggling. The human half turning a bit to look back at her favorite fish. "I'm glad we where finally able to make it happen. Being trapped in a body you dislike ..." a bit of sadness passes over the witch's eyes. Smile returning quickly though as she paddles about in the water happily. "Sorry to make you wait. There is always so much to do it feels like."
Amethyst "Yeah... I just had to figure out how to hide it." The demi-fae sighs, "It's not transformation like the Raksha or the Lunars can do, but at least I can go from being on land to being in water without too much trouble there."

"Of course, my body's not /really/ complete yet." She says, her tattoos shifting colors rapidly as she contemplates.

Hoarfrost The smile increases and gives herself a hug. "Who can say they are done changing though. I think we all change a bit as we grow ... but I guess that is not exactly what you mean." Giving a soft chuckle. Tail flicking the water a little as she floats through the pool. "Lets not focus on what can't be though. Let us find the positives. Are you finding anything new to get used to? Is it all coming back to you?"
Amethyst "Yeah, let's focus on the things I can be." And the Dragon slips off of Frosty's back and back into the water. And it's apparent just how much easier it is for her to move through it. Although she was always a strong swimmer, now it's even moreso. "This isn't much to get used to, it's great~!" She giggles as she literally swims circles around her love. "But it is a bit to get used to having eyes that can focus on daylight and darkness." her pupils go from being wide to being slitted, and when they're slitted she actually flinches a little bit.
Hoarfrost There is a definite sense of pride in the Lunar over work well done. Some part of her deep down wanting to share these gifts to as many people as possible. If everyone could be the beautiful shape they wanted to be then no one would think twice about Ammies mutations. A wistful sigh she watches the fishy love swim about her. "The eyes take getting used to. Your brain isn't used to that kind of change yet. It should become more natural over time."
Amethyst Amethyst nods, still squinting and tredding water as she can barely see with how bright everything is. "When I had these eyes it was so I could see in the dark waters. On the surface everything is bright. Also getting used to telling my body how to fold up my mutations is a little weird too. Fortunately I don't need to do it out here."
Hoarfrost "I am glad this forest is a place you can relax. I admit I have been trying with the idea of spreading my influence to the town nearby. Given them the chance to be changed much the same way. Is ... is that weird?" The idea of a mutant friendly world she wants is starting to make a firmer place in her mind.
Amethyst "The trouble there is, most Creation-Born don't wanna be transformed. They don't wanna be mutants. But a chance at it wouldn't hurt. It'd be easier if you were working with folks with fae blood tho. Heck, you could even use the prismatic tattoos to bring out their latent abilites too, provided they're strong enough to dare questing against the wyld."
Hoarfrost The thought of not giving them so much of a chance crosses her mind but she doesn't say it aloud. That is something Eos might have tried, but is it something Hoafrost is ready to try? "I admit the ways to the Wyld are more of your expertise and not mine. We are so far from the boarder marches that it might not be the effect I am looking for." Fiddling with her hair a bit as she thinks.
Amethyst "Well, technically, this could be a boardermarch /if/ we found a fae that was willing." Amethyst notes. "And although the fae are generally not very well liked, they aren't as hunted quite as much as the likes of the Lunars and Solars unless they're actively causing a problem. And using your own magic to make these folks into varying sorts of beastfolk would be, hmm, a little more obvious."
Hoarfrost "I took this land as mine, through our rights. Giving it to a fae ..." Hoafrost shakes her head. It would ruin the magics she already woven over the area. "You are ... you are right it would be more obvious. Doing your changes though. The way you have to hide yourself. It made me think perhaps hiding is not the best. Maybe we need to be a little louder about who we really are. Helping make those dreams come true ... that is the kind of Lunar I should be."
Amethyst "More accurately, it would become a freehold with you as its head. But I didn't think you would appreciate that." Amethyst chuckles to herself. And she considers her love's words about being louder. She cranes her head and says simply, "A Lunar who is too loud will inevitably be hunted down." How is that Amethyst is the more cautious of the two of them?
Hoarfrost Hoarfrost smiles and nods. The hair fidgeting intensifies just a little. "Maybe ... that is surely what I have believed in the past and I have stayed quiet in my forest saving what I can. Change does not happen by being quiet. Change happens from what we do ... and I want to make a world where people can be more themselves." Giving a no committed shrug and shifting her weight to laying on her side. Human half lounging along on the edge of the pool while her tauric half is submerged and relaxed. "Did you not speak of such a thing when you first exalted?"
Amethyst "I did imagine an empire for myself." Amethyst admits. "...Now I don't really know what I want. But I do know I don't want a hunt coming for us too soon." Says the lady who organized a heist against a Lookshy temple. "They'd just slaughter us all." Amethyst sprawls out in the water and floats. "If we did want to take action, what would we do?"
Hoarfrost "Talk ... change minds ... open hearts? Sounds cheesy but I've heard stories of people like Bright able to change the mind of those hunting them. People with enough ability can help change what the society believes in itself. Maybe that is a bit beyond us at the moment but it is mor subtle than the alternatives. "D-did you not just plan a heist? I can not tell if this is your turn to be protective of me or you miss the danger of the endeavor your attempting?"
Amethyst "Bright does seem to be fairly capable. But maybe we oughta just lay out the plans of what we can do." Amethyst says. And then she continues. "I realized a while ago the heist was a stupid idea. I came up with it days after I Exalted and there's no chance I can convince all of the others not to do it. The least I can do is try to plan it well enough that nothing bad comes of it." Amethyst says. "...I did a lot of stupid things the first week I exalted."
Hoarfrost Hoarfrost looks a little disappointed but nods "It was probably a silly idea anyway." Not very self assured in her own idea. "There are lots of ways to protect people ... and I admit ive never been good at loud." Giving a knowing smile and a chuckle. "Like I said we all do. They would not be following in it if their essence was not telling them to go hunt for adventure. It drives us all in one way or another I expect."
Amethyst "There is always that urge for adventure. The urge go and do." Amethyst swims around. "Honestly, most of mine has been focused towards my sorcery project. And for now I want to just collect /myself/. I'm not even a year into my second breath, I'm not even 20 years old yet! So I think I can take time to put my effort towards bolstering my own legend before I start /really/ thinking about empire."
Hoarfrost "I am almost sixty I imagine? It is hard to keep track some times when you are so removed from society. I have started to feel ... restless of late. I learned so much and taught many now I feel like I am falling behind. I need to push to grow again. Stagnation does not suite Stewards." Something about Amythest puts her a ease even as she admits some of her worries. Watching her play in the water is somehow relaxing.
Amethyst And the little fish-dragon doesn't ever fully stop moving. And what's more incredible is when she just decides to change which direction she's moving. "Hmm, what we need is something to change, something to train. I don't think any of us are quite ready for an empire. But what could we do? Maybe it's time to learn something more than just how to learn and teach. But there's definitely ways to do that which are more subtle than others."

And Amethyst jumps out of the water and clings to Frosty's human body. "The question is, what should we train?"

Hoarfrost Hoarfrost catches Amethyst in her arms. The bare bodies settling in together in the steamy warmth of the hot spring. "That is a good question ... I was considering training with my appearance. I am not good with words. I can almost convey myself better without them. I've seen all kind of Lunars with powers to command hearts and minds with just a look ... Though I only really need yours." Giggling a little she gives her love a soft kiss.
Amethyst "Hmm, you do have a way of emoting what you want." Amethyst nods. And then she grins. "It was much more than a look that drew my heart to you~" And she gives a little kiss. "And, hmm, maybe if you help me learn how to master my own powers, I can think of ways to help you with yours?" This can only end well
Hoarfrost "Of course." Hoafrost chirps always happy to help. "What powers would you like to train yourself? We talked about elemental energies?" she tilts her head curious just what Amie hopes to grow into powerwise.
Amethyst "Well, I didn't really consider /how/ to grow. Hmm. The most straightforward would probably be combat. Or athletic stuff." And the alchemist swims around and around. "I wonder if I could learn to harness it to say, I dunno, channel flames and throw them? Tho I am water-aspect, us Dragons are masters of /all/ of the elements. Or maybe I could learn how to turn my elements inward and learn to adapt to this cold." Lots of possibilities
Hoarfrost "It would be allot easier on you if yo ucould adapt to the cold here like I can. I have to imagine you can burn a fire in you to warm up, or become enduring as earth in the face of the cold? It could go many different ways." Considering the different paths, though she has no idea if any of them are the correct direction. "Athletic I could perhaps help with. I have been training with Spring to become more graceful and strong. It would be good pracitce!"
Amethyst "Clearly we should find a larger body of water." Amethyst smiles. "And maybe see just what it is that I can /do/ with my elemental essence. All of these ideas sound pretty cool." Amethyst swims back into the water and climbs out onto the stones, and seems to have trouble actually standing up. "Ain't no time like the present, right?"
