Amethyst Walls of stone, lit with alchemical lights. Banners dedicated to various alchemical principles. And a doorway, the text "As Above, So Below" carved into it in Old Realm. The home of Yim Amethyst and her Alchemist's shop. She'd sent word a few days ago inviting the blacksmith to her humble shop to speak of the possibility of perhaps helping him with his wyldly condition. Or at least that's all the letter said. And Amethyst had invited Rishi as well, something about helping someone with their body? The message confusingly mentioned the idea of remaking what is ugly to be what is beautiful. Surely it wasn't Amethyst she was speaking of, but she did no mention who needed help.

The shop is closed for the night, but the door has been left unlocked, and a certain fishy alchemist is idly polishing some glasses while waiting for her friends to arrive.

Reforged Resurgence A certain blacksmith knocks at the door, pauses, and enters, looking around. "Nice place. You wanted to talk about my, uh..." He trails off before gesturing at himself. "...Everything?"
Amethyst The alchemist smiles and rises from her seat, taking the place and gingerly placing it in one of the cabinets. She nods and grins. "That I did. I suppose the question really is, what do _you_ want to do with all of your." And she walks around him. "Everything." Curious ears flare to the sides, complete with slight head tilt.
Reforged Resurgence Resurgence looks incredulously at Amethyst. "What do I want. What don't I want? I want to be tall and strong again! I want to be the man that charmed other scions to bedrooms! I..." Something in his face cracks. "...Don't want that?" He looks away, pondering. "...I've been like this for years, a twisted little shit of a man, and now finally I get the chance, and I say no?...What if that damned Raksha had a point?"
Rishi The door opens and in walks a stunningly beautiful woman. Her ebony hair is like a waterfall of black silk running down the ocher curves of her body, despite the leather cloak trying to hide them. Her other clothing seems designed more to show case her body than to hide it. "Hey Am- Oh." Her voice is like having warm, smokey honey poured into your ear and she sounds on the verge of song. Her perfect lips twist into an oh of surprise. "Ah, I was not expecting that you would be having company. Shall I be coming back later?" Her southern accent somehow just lends her an exotic and approachable air, instead of sounding silly.
Amethyst Amethyst is caught off guard just a little but Resurgence's response. She walks around him and holds her knees to get eye level with him. "Are ya sure you don't want me to do anything to help y--" And then Rishi comes in. And Amethyst grins. Amethyst herself doesn't look back, shining scales, eyes like the reflection of the ocean, sunset colored hair, but hers is nothing compared to Rishi. "Morning Rishi. No no, you're timing is /perfect/. This here is Reclaimed Resurgence." Happy ears are up.
Reforged Resurgence Resurgence turns to face Rishi, and as his eyes climb her height, they grow wide. "It's a pleasure to meet you, ma'am," he says with a slight bow. "I didn't know that Amethyst had invited you over as well. What brings you here?" There's a slight flick in one of his ears, and his ratlike tail wraps itself around one of his legs.
Rishi The woman tilts her head, the waterfall of hair sliding smoothly over her shoulder. "I am suspecting that you are bringing me here. I am Rishi, a very good friend to Amethyst, and a healer of no small skill. One of my duties is the helping of people who feel that their bodies do not fit who they are inside." She hunches down to look the man in the eyes...which incidentally gives him a very good look at her cleavage. "Does that fit you?"
Reforged Resurgence Resurgence's glance darts down, then back up again. "Uh, yeah." His gaze seems to wander into the distance for a moment. "Actually, I'm not really sure. I'm an ugly little thing, sure, but...I don't know. I used to be a lot more handsome and a lot uglier on the inside, so now it's kinda the reverse." He scratches his chin. "But, I wouldn't mind being a little...less ugly? Maybe a little less small?"
Amethyst "Tis the one I wrote to you about." Amethyst says. "I remembered how you helped me and I just thought you'd love the chance to help another." She grins at Rishi. "Tho, I didn't account on the idea that he might not actually want help..."
Rishi Rishi nods absently as she stands back up to her full height. "If you were cursed into this form, I might been needing to examine you more closely and to be doing some of the tests before I can be removing it."
She head tilts again, considering, then gives Ammy a look as she tries to nonchalantly tap her forehead. While this conveys the question about whether she should tell him about her nature to Ammy, it is not the subtle gesture that Rishi thought it would be.
Reforged Resurgence Resurgence looks up to Rishi. "Let's say I found myself on a Raksha's bad side. Would that mean fewer tests and examinations? I'm not exactly a fan of being poked and prodded."
Amethyst The Alchemst's ears wiggle a bit back and forth uncertainly, a subtle gesture back to Rishi. "Well, what she means is, if you've been cursed it might not be as easy as just doing sorcery to change your body. It might take something more tricky than that." It's clearly a thought Amethyst'd overlooked.
Rishi Rishi sighs. "I will definitely have to examine you, but it may not require much in the way of poking." She quirks a smile. "Though, most of my patients don't seem to mind my ministrations." She sashays over to the man and says "I'm going to examine your ...aura. Please don't move."
And then she leans over and ...smells him. She drinks deep of his scent, getting quite, quite close to him as all the magics that have been done to him give off their own unique misama of spiritual vapors which waft into Rishi's oh so perfect and most sensitive nose. After a moment, she steps back, her heat tilting as she considers what she smelled.
Reforged Resurgence Resurgence looks to her with a curled lip. "If I thought you'd try shoving me up your nose, I would've bathed this week."
Amethyst Amethyst stands back and chuckles just a little as Rishi goes about doing Weird Lunar Things. Examine them with a lense or perhaps use sorcery to sense them or maybe have them ingest a something but smelling. She just giggles and lets the two do their things
Rishi Rishi's eyes remain closed as she reviews the scents, then go wide. "That is....an impressivly large amount of curses you have. While each is minor, together they form an impressive effect. I do not think that I can simply ignore it and try to weave your flesh over it without hurting you." Her face screws up into a cute pout. "I shall simply have to remove it."
Reforged Resurgence There's a flicker in Resurgence's eyes, and then he takes two quick steps back, already poised with a hand on his dagger. "The hell are you?" He glares at Amethyst with an accusatory side-eye. "Who the hell is this, and why can they _weave flesh_?"
Amethyst There's the little glint from Amethyst, the subtle sound of silver against silver. "I-it's a sorcery technique. The same way I granted myself these mutations I can work over another's flesh!" Memories of her own body being worked over by the Lunars come to mind. She's on a backstep, ears down, face glancing away from him. She's surprised /scared/ for a moment. Of course, if he does try something, she is backing towards a cabinet.
Rishi Rishi looks alarmed then ...sighs. She begins speaking in a rather over the top way, obviously trying to sound convincing. "...I managed to fool Amethyst, but...if I am to help you, ...I suppose it is better that you..both, yes, both of you shall learn the truth now." She takes a few steps back so she's standing next to the door, then stops and stretches, her shadow ...warping.
She grows a few inches taller as her legs become didigrade and catlike, a light layer of ochre fur stretching up to cover her body as a fluffy catlike tail slips down behind her, her fingers grow talons as her cloak flaps open into a large pair of batwings. Finally pointed ears stick out through her hair as the empty silver ring on her forehead marks her as one of the Ogres, Anathema who know of the dark hidden things and deal with unclean spirits.

She looks no less beautiful for her changes and is definitely very worried about what you might do next.
Reforged Resurgence Taking his hand from his dagger, Resurgence straightens up. "So you're an Anathema, then. One who hasn't tried anything, despite having the upper hand. But what do you get out of this, then? And...Do you really think you could remove my curse?"
Amethyst "Anathema may she be, but the Realm's stories of them are quite wrong." Amethyst says, relaxing her stance and walking to stand next to Rishi. Her ears are back, her neck is tense, she's stressed. But when she begins, her ears flare up. "Anathema are not these inherently evil things like the Immaculate Order would have us all believe. They might have madness, but it's not inevitable, and not constant. I mean, forgive me, but Lunars are /weird/."

"But they're no worse than a washed up Scion who got chewed up and spit out of the wyld." Amethyst states this all as a matter of fact. "And could she remove your curse? She's mastered the Sapphire Circle for goodness sake! No Dragon's managed that before in all the history I've read. Plus, Luna imparts some interesting gifts to her chosen."

"For the Lunars do indeed receive their powers from Luna, not by stealing them. Witnessed it with my own eyes when I looked into one of them's memories. So yes, she can break your curses and reweave your flesh, just like Luna themself"

Rishi Rishi relaxes slightly when he calms down a bit...and even more when Ammy stands with her. In fact, one of her wings wraps slightly around Ammy almost absently, once Ammy begins defending her. "...I would not say that I have mastered the Sapphire Circle as I am only knowing the one spell. But...yes. As the powers of the Dragons go to manipulating the elements themselves, the powers of those blessed by the Ever Changing One, grant me the ability to reshape flesh, as well as a resistance to and power against the Raksha. I am confident that, by Charm or Sorcery, I can remove your curses."
"As for the cost to you....I would ask that you say nothing of the Anathema residing here. Giving people the bodies they want, the healing of their hearts... This is a sacred charge given to me along with my Blessing and my Rebirth. I cannot...will not besmirch a holy duty by asking for payment." Given that you literally just saw how terrible a liar she is, the fire in her eyes and emotion in her voice... This is definitely something she takes seriously and she's definitely not lying.
Reforged Resurgence Resurgence looks away and wipes his nose on his sleeve before turning back. "Well now I'm sorry we got off on the wrong foot. It's not every day you almost pull a knife on someone doing their 'holy duty', and I'm sure it's not every day someone threatens you like that. As far as your price is concerned, I'm willing to keep my mouth shut, but the least I can do is prepare some tea for you."
Amethyst "A single spell is more than I can muster." The alchemist grins at Rishi, and leans on her just a little, perhaps also absently. Her body relaxes as she breaths a sigh of relief. "It's always a risk. I know very well that I'll probably one day end up dead thanks to such misunderstandings. But I'll do what I can to stave it off. Besides, you learn that these folks can be quite lovely." Ammie nuzzles against Rishi juuust a little.
Rishi Rishi leans into Ammy and closes her eyes for a moment, savoring the love. Though she does look a little sad. "Perhaps not for you but...when the "holy duty" of most of those with the Dragon's Blood includes killing those like me... I would say that I'm being used to it, but it is more that it is simply...another thing to endure. And I have become most skilled at enduring things." She looks over at Ammy, and plants a kiss on the top of her head. "The exceptions make the endurance worth it."
Reforged Resurgence Resurgence, looking a little put-out, lets out a breath. "I haven't been in contact with any Dragons who gave half a rat's ass about me in years, present company excluded, but I could probably discreetly tell any I run into that Anathema shouldn't just be hunted. Maybe I should tell them that things can be different, that we should be fighting alongside any allies we can take. Not like the Realm could get any more unstable for it anyway."
Amethyst "It's really simple. The Looksyhan principle says they are mad, not evil. Well, my corrolary is that they need not be mad, so long as they have a hand helping keep themselves anchored in reality." Amethyst looks meaningfully to Rishi. "And so it's my goal to make that a reality. I think it'd be foolish for me to try to control what they want, but maybe trying to even their hands and temperments and serve as a point of stability. If there's anything us Dragons are good at it's building societies." Amethyst looks back over towards Resurgence. "And it just so happens that I meet another Dragon touched by the wyld while dreaming about creating a new sort of society." She shrugs.
Rishi Rishi sighs. "It is not being an easy thing you describe. Your Northern Order is telling everyone that we are being monsters. And Frosty is telling me that most of my kind are hating the Dragons. I am not thinking that this is something that can be fixed." But she pulls Ammy into a side hug with her wing and two arms, while running a third hand through her hair, before looking at Ammy again. "But I am loving that you wish to be trying this. Maybe I am being wrong."
Rishi head tilts again at Resurgence. "You are being a Dragon?"
Reforged Resurgence "Once, yes. House Tepet. I don't remember very much, but I was once a promising scion who was asked to take a leave of absence after a...set of politically unwise gestures at a gala held by House Peleps. I used this time to venture as far as I could go in search of artifacts, a few taking me into the Wyld. It was during one of these trips into the Wyld that I was cornered by a Raksha who captured me, tested me, warped me, took my memories from me, and insisted that I stay until one of us died in a duel. In the end, it was him. I wandered for gods-know-how-long before I stepped into Creation."
"While I was gone, the Bull of the North and all of his friends had his way with the best House Tepet had to offer. I couldn't imagine showing up after that. So I thought up a new name for myself and embraced what I'd become. Not that I remembered my old name."
Amethyst "Maybe you're right. Essence Fever is a thing and boy do I have so many ideas that I know I could never do. I'll have to just live with having you guys I suppose. But having someone who can actually teach me about how my elemental powers work would be invaluable. As much as I love you, I'm not a Lunar." And she considers the thought of maybe, after finishing her working, she should stop trying to using sorcery.

And she listens to Reclaim's story. "...Oh House Tepet, Air Stained by the Blood of Legions. Once one of the most honorable houses. I remember reading about their stories in my book on the Realm. I can only imagine what things must be like for them now. And it's funny that it comes full circle with meeting a fellow Dragon who carries the blood of Peleps in her veins. How vastly different life would have been if I had been a scion myself. But then, I wouldn't have met the Lunars. I would probably be a monk out somewhere." And a little thought in the back of her head tells her that she still could train at one of the Lookshyian monestaries

"One day I would like to see the Blessed Isle tho, the place that would've been my birthright if not for the other Houses devouring most of that side of my family. And I remember right, my mother is the only one left on the other side of my family..." She sighs. "A Dragon without true familial ties, alongside a Lunar who once repelled the guild from defacing a natural wonder, a Lunar who once stood up to the Ysyrian order to be herself, and now a Dragon once high who's been brought low. What a strange group we are."

And then she stands up straight. "Anyway, we should see what it's going to take to deal with that curse, yeah?" And she gestures towards the back.

Rishi Rishi gives the man a look of sympathy. "I am glad to be helping one who has known such hardship. It... Possibly it is being better to simply think of your old life as being ...entirely gone, and just working on making your new self as best you can? That was what I did."
She smiles at him and claps one set of hands. "And we shall be starting with you gaining an entirely new body, one that feels right to who you are being *now*. I am having an illusion spell I can be using to show you how you could be looking, so we will be making you perfect! Once I am removing the curse, which might be taking a few days, but after that...you will be looking how you wish." She has a firm expression and catches his eyes. "This I so swear to you. You shall regain your autonomy and control over your own body. You will be liking how you look, or we will be changing things until you do. You are having the vow of a Priestess of the One with Many Faces upon this thing."

And then she smiles impishly. "And you shall also be having a choice of optional extras, like so." she waves a hand across her own body. "Most people are not wishing them and, after your experience with the Raksha, I doubt you are wanting them either. But! Everyone should be themselves. And some people are having wings inside."
Reforged Resurgence Resurgence blinks, and then he thinks. "For starters, my old life is dead. That guy who got himself captured by a Raksha has been dead for years now, and there's just me now. And as for me, uh, maybe we should start small. I can deal with being a little on the small side, but only being three feet tall is gettin' old, and my face could be less fugly. And I don't think I was always green." His tail sticks out to his right, and he sticks out his arm, allowing the tail to wrap around it. "The tail can stay, though. If I don't wanna freak people out, I can keep it tucked up the side of my shirt and wrap it around my arm at the shoulder."
Amethyst "I have been considering wings myself." Amethyst muses considering. She considers by gently stroking along Rishi's wings. "As for you," Amethyst looks towards RR, "The only thing I'd ask of you is to, I dunno, help me figure out how to Dragon? Maybe give me some idea of what I can /do/ with my gifts." Amethyst says. "Either way, I think this is the start of something beautiful."
