Fudou the Mountain When he -wants- to be found or is not putting in any special effort to hide or go to ground, Fudou, aka The Mountain, isn't exactly hard to track or pin down. His immensity is an immediate stand out. Inhumanly tall. Inhumanly corded with muscle that makes his lengthy height seem stocky and dense by virtue of just how much sinew he's got packed onto his frame. He leaves a trail of 'events' in his passage be it some sort of boistrous rough housing in tavern or whispers of activity in a brothel or mind numbing physical feats in the arena or even via helping out when bored at the docks....leaving a message meant for him or otherwise tracking him down is a piece of cake.

Keeping him interested or holding him in place long enough while not raising his ire..that may be another challenge all together.

Either way, the behemoth of a man emerges into a long emptied out plaza somewhere deep into Great Forks with winding back alleys and dusty abandoned streets leading him this way. This place may have once been active but rumors of angry ghosts-something-or-another keeps the local populace from getting to curious and there's even a few tipped over pillars from a building that collapsed once long ago. Perhaps the spirits of those who died linger? Fudou doesn't know. Fudou doesn't care.

It works as a potential meeting spot so he leans back and hops onto one of the pillars, perching there while waiting.

Amethyst Footsteps, but not human footsteps are the first to be heard. Small little plaps against the hard surface of the streets, too small even for Amethyst's tiny feet. And quick too. Finding him was even easier than he might've thought it would've thought. Sniffing, peaking, then rounding the corner is a winter wolf, bigger than Amethyst, with beautiful white fur with violet eyes that might remind one of the sky just before a storm. The wolf stands before Fudou proudly, looking up to his massive frame.
Fudou the Mountain The behemoth of a lunar just sort of stares at the wolf while creaking an eyebrow slightly higher until it raises up over the rims of the silver rimmed glasses on his broad nose. This is followed by the pursing of his lips as he inclines his head to closely study the wolf and the two simply just look at each other for a set of long drown out seconds.

Finally, Fudou clears his throat and asks, as if expecting the wolf to break out into a conversation with him at any moment: "....Yes?"

Amethyst The Wolf smiles, and focuses, little multicolored tattoos form all along the surface of their fur, ones that resemble the strange ever-shifting tattoos Amethyst has. After a few moments, they intensify and pulse through colors associated with each of the five elements, as two hands push through its chest. With a subtle sound, the wolf grows limp as Amethyst climbs out from it. What was once a wolf is now just its skin, with Amethyst standing there, wearing nothing more than that skin. "Hey."
Fudou the Mountain Well then! This does cause Fudou to recoil in a bit of open surprise. He's quite expressive in his features and so it's difficult for him to maintain any sort of poker face at incidents that are quite out of the ordinary, even to another of the Exalted. It's a bit of a double take followed by a bemused look as he peers and then leans forward to get a closer look at the wyld touched dragon blooded before him.

"Well now.." he rumbles, any previous ire at being summoned here and having to wait now vanished into the mists of his curiousity, "..Now that -is- interesting. Tell me..how much effort did it take for you to find a way to mimic Luna's gifts?" He rubs at the tuft of hair on his big jaw, considering his words, "Not that I blame you for trying. That would be rather useful now wouldn't it? Leaves abit of evidence behind though?"

Amethyst Amethyst lets the skin drape loosely over her as she stands their naked. It's also notable that she's a little bloody and the skin itself looks fresh. "It took everything I had. Every single calculation, every single principle of alchemy that I've known."

The blood on Ammie herself flows off and starts to drift into the air. It shows some complicated alchemical diagrams written in high realm. All of the blood on the ground also rises to help, leaving not much of a trace behind. "It starts with the absolute basics of alchemy. I could not afford to use more than purely the most base of elements to conjure both the preservation technique and the subtle marks I must make to turn a skin into one of my forms. Alas, the skins last only a month but maybe further work and help from one who knows how to create artifacts could help change that."

"It is a working I should not have been able to do. A lowly dragon attempting the works of the Sapphire Circle. Something only Anathema are said to have mastered. And a Dragon as young as me, I will be 20 years old soon but for the moment I am but 19."

The Silvered Dragon giggles as the colors of her runes change and shift with her laughter. "Mimicing Luna's gifts was the single most difficult working I have ever attempted, and I had to go into the wyld naked and emerge a sorceress or die." She says simply.

Fudou the Mountain The giant man listens with both patience and a gleam of understanding in his eyes that some might find surprising. Though he looks the iconic brute and enjoys playing the part.. there is more beneath, including a mind and spirit capable of understanding..and perhaps even doing..some works of sorcery. Thus as the fae-touched goes into details he inclines his head abit more as if listening deeply and drinking in what she says. He then finally lets out a low rumbling laugh and claps his massive hands together.

"Well done! A feat worthy of documenting and telling the tale of, no doubt. Luna's gifts are mercurial and not easily grasped but you seem to understand the glimmer of quicksilver one needs to be...flexible in form and spirit. Perhaps the company you keep is wearing off on you in some manner, mmm?"

He taps his jaw in thought again, "Though I must confess.. as a dragonblood it is strange to see you so attached and so comfortable. You even used the word yourself. Anathema. Where's your wyld hunt?"

Amethyst Amethyst looks at Fudou, and at the mention of silver, she stills her tattoos, and allows them to dim in brilliance. Beneath the ever-present glow of the gossamer is perhaps surprising or unsurprising: Moonsilver. "I don't think it would be hard for them to mistake me for anathema in training when I look like this." She doesn't allow the moment linger too long though, and her tattoos return to their typical glowing shifting hues.

"My wyld hunt? What wyld hunt? I know exactly one other Dragon-blooded and he's just as mutated as I am. Another wyld touched. My birth marked the exile of my entire household from the Dynasty, and then like the predators they are, they left not a single one of my kin living, besides me and my father. And only then because we happened to be absent. They claimed a freak fire consumed our manor, neither me nor my father believed it. And so instead of becoming Peleps Ametis, I became Yim Amethyst."

"He taught me what he could of the Blessed Isle. And it saddens me that I will never be welcome on it. Especially now that I've thrown my lot in with the solars and lunars. You might be a little crazy, but I hardly think you the evil the books make you out to be. And I've witnessed Luna herself through one of your memories of exaltation."

Fudou the Mountain "We're all a little crazy.." muses Fudou though his eyes hood slightly at mention of witnessing Luna.

"Is that so? Are you talking about Rishi? Hmm..." He quiets for a second and then finally nods his head as if having made his mind up on the matter. "Very well. I suppose you are 'safe'. You were quite invested and involved during the little adventure to that demon shrine I stumbled upon. I am called Fudou. Some call me Fudou the Mountain or just The Mountain. I have other names. Quite a few. But that one works for now. I am originally from Volivat..but that was a long time ago and another life..."

He absently scratches at the mass of hair on his chest. His 'tell' if one can notice it. Like coarse Yeddim hair. "I would ask you some questions..based on what I saw in that demon shrine but it was you who began searching for me? Why?"

Amethyst "Hoarfrost's memory, actually. Though Rishi is another I am close to. I'm sure she'd be willing to let me see how her Exaltation went." Amethyst says. "And I think I introduced myself, Yim Amethyst, an alchemist, sorceress, and silver dragon." She does a little bow. "As for you? Well, I mostly wanted to show off my achievement." She pats the skin. "And to spread the legend to more lunars. I don't know too many, and you seemed nice enough." She gently elbows him. "I'm from Champoor myself."

"As for demons? I'm an expert in the wyld moreso than hell, but if I can answer questions, I'd be glad to."

Fudou the Mountain "I -can- be nice.." edits Fudou, perhaps not wanting to come across as too safe too quickly but he's not exactly being threatening is he.

Hoarfrost eh? Hm. Well consider me impressed. I'm sure I will bring it up the next time there is a moot of any sort though I can't say how all will react. Some might be pleased. Others insulted.." he grins a little at that. "...But what's life without a hint of danger to it..."

At this point he hops off of the pillar, the ground itself rumbling as his feet impact and he straightens up to his full height. "I was away from Great Forks for awhile I return to hear of demon cults, murders and..multiple active Lunars and Solars.." he taps his forhead, "Solars are a little bit of a different brand of 'crazy'..don't you think? What are their intentions?"

Amethyst "I can be nice too." says the lady covered in specks of her own blood, naked, with a bloody skin draped around her. She isn't trying to be terrifying and she's sure Lunars are kind of used to this brand of weird, but woe to any passerbys. "I do understand some of your kind hate Dragonblooded, I can't exactly blame them. Especially one who's a direct descendant from one of the Great Houses." Amethyst headshakes. "I figure showing up about like I am now might lighten folk's opinions of me though. I think the Hunt might even mistake me for one of you if I'm not careful." The fae-touched muses.

"As for Solars? Well." She contemplates. "I found a scroll detailing a more practical viewpoint on the 'Anathema'. It talked of how they are not evil, just prone to bouts of incredible madness. Inevitably turning on one another and destroying all that they've built. Now, I don't believe all of that. But I do suspect there's truth in there somewhere. The Lunars are far more numerous and organized, and I really think that Lookshy just views them as any threat. But Solars, Solars are said to be rare and far more powerful. And given the news I've heard, they aren't so rare anymore."

"In truth I dunno what to think. I'm not about to piss away or piss off those that have come to trust me but that doesn't mean I need to hold any particular loyalty towards them. I am a silver dragon, not a golden one."

Fudou the Mountain "You are wise and practical yourself.." acknowledges Fudou. "We were in the presence of some that day we fought those demons and entered the shrine, after all. I suppose there are similar goals at the moment and so there need not be any concern but..." his voice quiets for a moment in thought before adding, "..Sometimes it's good to simply be prepared. Perhaps to act first if necessary. As to you? I'm not concerned abut where you stand any more. There's certainly no going back for you, as you've said."

He slowly grins after a moment of looking at her again, "Though..aren't you 'cold'? At any rate..it was some curiousity about some of the things said in the shrine that had me wondering a few things. But if demons and the demon lords are not your speciality then this may be pointless. It's about the Black Boar that Twists the Sky. I had some curiousity about some stories and elements. Call it..a hobby. A bit of research into personal matters.."

Amethyst "An ounce of preparing is worth a pound of improvised explosive." The alchemist replies quietly. And she nods. "I just hope I can find with you folks what I could never find with my own kind. Aside from those who hold personal vendettas, I think I'll be fine." How little she knows of Lunar culture.

"Alas, I've not even heard of the Black Boar that Twists the Sky. But I can tell you anything you'd like to know on how the fae structure their societies or how to better protect yourself from the... wyld." It takes her a moment to remember that Lunars are innately resistant to its twisting effects. "Or I could tell you about alchemy or sorcery. Demons though? Alas, I am not even versed in how to summon them."

Fudou the Mountain "I see.." His disappointment is plain but it doesn't last. Fudou internalizes any further thoughts on the matter as he takes a seat onto the pillar again and looks thoughtful. "..Very well. There's much knowledge in the world. One shouldnt' assume that someone knows everything. I will have to ask another or continue my own searches.."

He then shakes his head and rumbles, "You seem to have already found what you're looking for but don't to comfortable or force change onto yourself just for the sake of the lunars around you. We -are- change after all. It's in our nature. You should be sure that you find out who -you- are before you do anything for the sake of companionship.."

Amethyst The Dragon sighs. "Yeah..." She turns and looks back up to the sky. "In truth, I don't even know who I am anymore. My life has been turned upside down and all but destroyed. In its ashes rise something new and beautiful, but I am no longer a little kid hoping that one do she will draw her second breath. It wasn't even a year ago that I exalted. And I have no one but the Lunars and maybe the Solars to teach me how to be what I am. I do think that despite my acheivement, yearning for Luna's gift was not a smart idea."

"If my father were here he would be overjoyed to help me master my essence. For now, perhaps I should just try to understand how to channel and use the elemental powers of my exalation. Oh if only I could train with an actual Dragon who could teach me how to deal with myself. 19 years weren't enough to prepare for the high of essence fever and the incredible strength the second breath brings."

Fudou the Mountain The giant lets out a rumbling grunt that sounds like mild annoyance. He did not come this way to offer counsel to a dragonblood of all things and yet here he is. Fudou eyes her as she looks skywards but then, despite it all, continues speaking with, perhaps, more then a little bit of understanding.

"You will adapt. You will need to adapt. There are many..what is it called.. 'lost eggs' out there..no? They have nothing. NOt even the hope or the memory of a different life, like yourself. Yet they must find who they are or die or find themselves enslaved to another. Do you want that? Being stuck to and beholden to your lunar friends is simply another form of slavery. You'll need to find out what and who you are and only you can do that.."

He shrugs a little and makes a gesture with his huge arms to indicate the city, "There is much lore here, no? A library. A temple. What you don't know..you can find out. What you can't find out..you simply make happen on your own. You figured out how to perform this act of wearing the skin of another, didn't you?"

Amethyst Amethyst turns back to him. And she considers. "You have a point." She says. She takes a deep breath and calms herself. "Books. Of course I /could/ just go and read. There must be something out there. And if not, I am all but a master of my sorcery and alchemy." She chuckles a little. "I'll figure something out. I've come this far. And perhaps I shouldn't be venting so thoroughly to someone I've just met. Perhaps right now it is me who is mad." She smiles and then sighs.
Fudou the Mountain Fudou laughs. A big belly laugh that quakes his prodigious muscles. Not a bowl of jelly mind you but his masses are dense and thick and move like landslides in motion.

"Of course you are." he says matter of factly but with good humor. "But...perhaps I'm not such a stranger. After all we've been through 'life and death' together mmm? Surely you can share a few words with someone you slew demons with and risked your life next to and not be -to- crazy.."

His grin remains as he shrugs, rolling his gigantic shoulders, "Though some might question you casually standing here naked, in the city, and covered in blood. But either way..perhaps there are some things easier said to someone you don't necessarily see as often as those you are living with hmm?"
Amethyst "I think Rishi and Frosty must be exhausted from my complaints. It's good to let fresh ears her them." Amethyst chuckles. "And hey, I have seen stranger in this city than I. Though, I /am/ slowly getting cold and I should probably change back and head back to my shop before someone notices."

And then she jumps to give Fudou a noseboop. "And maybe you are a friend after all, Mr. Mountain."

Fudou the Mountain "Do not push your luck though." counters Fudou after that noseboop. He doesn't do anything about it mind you but he does wrinkle his nose in annoyance. Giant muscle-mountains are not supposed to be nose-boopable...

"Very well. Return to your shop. I suppose next time you 'summon' me..it will be to show me another trick you've developed." He smirks in bemusement and hops off of the pillar to begin walking, heavily, back in the direction he emerged from.

Amethyst Amethyst looks very pleased with herself, and she bows. Her tattoos still for a moment as the silver returns. She climbs into the skin proper, and they flash in each of the elements, Fire, Water, Air, Wood, Earth. All the while she's subsumed by the skin and it becomes increasingly lifelike until finally, there's another flash and a few blinks of the eyes. A bit of focus to banish her tattoos and Fudou now has a fido following.
