Rishi It is a pleasent morning in Great Forks, where the merchants are plying their trade, hawking their various foods and other goods. A woman of surpassing beauty walks among the isles, clad in a leather cloak, looking for deals ..and fruit. She is a great lover of all the different kinds of fruit they have here, strawberries, blueberries, cherries, cranberries, even occasionally citrus. All the methods of preparation too! Preserved in Honey, dipped in chocolate! All kinds of fruit!
So, yes, the woman is here, her eyes peeled, her nose twitching for the best fruit that her meagre purse can afford
Fudou the Mountain Elswehwere. Nearby.

A group of dock workers struggle with a large crate due for one of the warehouses tied to the bustling economy and culture of trade and wealth that is such a key part of Great Forks. It's large. Recently arrived and they stumble and stagger about to attempt to load it onto a large wagon only for the wagon itself to encounter ill-luck as one of its wheels buckles and it tips wildly to the side..preparing to collapse over onto one of the unfortunante men standing in the wrong place at the wrong time.

A meaty thud resounds as a huge hand reaches out and catches the entire thing before it reaches the point of no return. The side of the wagon crashing into the open palm of the massive outstretched arm of Fudou who looms overhead, grinning down at the startled and now mildly terrified dock worker as the behemoth immense body is cast in deep shadows by the shining Daystar.

".I'll take that." he rumbles, sounding friendly despite his borderline horrifying immensity and physique that manages to combine heroic strongman with monster-titan.

Mouths remain agape as the behemoth of a man reaches down and puts his hand under the wagons carriage..and then heaves, lifting it up with a groan of wood and a creaking of the large crates and metal within. He raises it up, balancing it atop one hand and spinning it about before turning and beginning to step away with heavy rumbling steps and no real sign of strain behind the mountainous bulging of his arm that gives the impression of boulders sewn under his skin.

It is in this fashion that Rishi encounters the giant as his huge shadow soon envelops her as he nears her whilst she meanders through the stalls and markets. His great bulk and presence looming overhead along with his newly gained 'cargo'. His grin is large as he looks down towards her. "..Hello there..."

Rishi Rishi's eyes widen, impressed despite her familiarity with Fudou's vast strength. She tilts her head to the side, considering hugging him, but refrains out of respect for the great weight he carries. Instead she says "Hi Fudou! Shall I walk with you while you deliver your cargo?"
Fudou the Mountain "This is good fortune.." remarks the behemoth, still grinning Fudou nods, using his free hand to push his glasses further up his nose and then he gestures with the same hand towards a side street that leads off away from the bustle. "Yes, sure. Come. We can talk."

He turns, beginning to step further into the market and then down towards the indicated streets which lack much traffic. "You seemed as if you were on the hunt for something. Are there goods here of particular interest to you?"

Rishi Rishi smiles, smoothing her hair back with one long fingered hand, her cloak opening slightly to show tantalising hints of what lies beneath. "I was thinking you were knowing of my sweet tooth. I am hunting for the bargains with the sellers of the fruit." Her voice sounds as sweet as the fruit she was speaking of.
"So, are you being working as a carrier of things now? I was not thinking that you were remaining much in one place?"
Fudou the Mountain "It's funny you would mention that..or at least say it that way. I had to recenty explain my travels or lack thereofs to some mutual associates.." comments Fudou as he looks at Rishi..and perhaps looks longer then he should before turning away to continue moving, "And no..not a carrier. Just doing a favor for someone. Nothing related to our recent..misadventures. Strange happenings around here, no? Quite different from when I first met you, some seasons ago. We seem to have found ourselves a little collection of sunbeams that seem interested in brightening the area up..for better or worse.. Don't you agree?" His grin has a hint of mischief to it now as he speaks and he stops his movements once more pausing to turn to look on Rishi for her reaction.
Rishi Rishi headtilts, considering, before smiling. "I'm being the quite happy with my moonbeam and my dragon, but these sunbeams are being quite the fun to chat with, yes. Are you being concerned about them?"
Fudou the Mountain "Ah yes. Your dragon." rumbles Fudou, "She came to me. To show off, I think. Very interesting sorcery she's come across to be able to shift forms. Did you know about that?"

Fudou pauses, considering matters and then says, "And..hm..perhaps it something to be concerned about, mm? A single ray of sunshine can chase much away, after all. Many gathered in one spot can potentially become..rather blinding. I was under the impression that you had stronger connections with them. This is not the case?"

Rishi Rishi considers, thinking for a few moments before speaking. "I am knowing some of them. Hunting the demons is tending to make the fast friendships. And, I am thinking that they are seeming most decent so far. Perhaps my thinking will be changing some day, but I am not worrying overmuch yet."
Rishi gives a very feral grin and reaches out to place her hand on Fudou's arm. "Yes, I helped her to do that thing! It was a most wonderous and facinating piece of wonderworking! And helping those who need to become themselves is my holy calling, given to me by the one with Many Faces. So, is there being a problem?"
Fudou the Mountain "The one called Bright Journey has become rather interested and invested in..us.." remarks Fudou, "..I do not think this is a problem, per se. I've spoken with her...the good lady Hoarfrost was even there. Bright Journey has an interest in wanting to meet different...Shahan-Ya's... She believes she can offer them aid and receive aid in return.. She wants to learn onre about the Silver Pact. I advised her that..her 'kind' are not necessarily seen with universal perspectives. There are some that may think they've returned to rule. Others that may welcome their return.. And many that will seek to simply manipulate them to their own ends.. That memories of the past are long and not easily forgotten.."

He quiets and then smiles slighlty, "They mentioned your name. Said you were always coy, evasive, not forthcoming about the Silver Pact. Why?"

Rishi Rishi sighs. "I do not think I am being coy. I am just ...not knowing many of our kind. I am knowing you, my beloved Frosty...some others. I was taught the rite of the tattooing and a little more far to the south. But...that is all. I'm not telling them of the Silver Pact, because I am not knowing the Silver Pact." She headtilts considering. "About all I am knowing is that are are being some things about which we do not speak. So, I suppose I am being somewhat coy. And I suppose I am not being one who easily admits ignorance." She sighs again.
Fudou the Mountain "I ....I see.." says Fudou looking rather surprised now. "Well..this changes the context quite abit. And yes...if we had of known then I believe that any of us would have helped you and introduced you to more of our kind."

Fudou rubs his jaw in thought thinking things over and then concludes, "It is fine. The Silver Pact isn't some..monstrous monolithic order like The Realm. It is a loose collective with like minded desires and goals but different agendas and ways to go about seeking said goals. It is our strength where the returned sun chosen are alone, scattered, divided...we have each other and can call about our resources. There are various social and political groups of course but in the end the purpose of the Pact isn't to bind us to but to aid us. I think, considering your own skill and power, it's time that you met other members and luminaries for yourself.."

Rishi Rishi nods. "Frosty has offered to take me to a gathering before, but she is being rather the shy type. But I would still like to be going with her." And Rishi sounds a touch defiant here "And I should like to be taking Ammy as well. To tell our kind that not all of the Dragons are being the problem. And to be showing them that this Dragon is belonging to Frosty and myself and is not to be troubled." She subsides a bit, then nods. "Yes, a meeting of the Pact would be most interesting to attend."
Fudou the Mountain "Mmmm.." Fudou seems unsure about that. "Mmm.." he begins again before stating, "....There are many perspectives of course and naturally many have enough wisdom to know the difference between a dynast, an immaculate monk and a 'lost egg'.. But you're still dealing with centuries of war and prejudice and long term plans. Longer even. Lives and long memory. Don't demand things of people who may need time to understand ..or put 'Ammie' at unnecessary risk without properly preparing her first."

He then shrugs, "But, it's not like I am suggesting we go knock on the doors of the Queen of Fangs bedchamber. A simple moot will be good enough.."

Rishi Rishi bristles. "I am only demanding that they be recognizing that she is mine! And not to be trifled with! If they are thinking me foolish or that Ammy is being my ...pet or that Ammy will be killing me one day...that is fine. What they are thinking does not matter, so long as they are recognizing my claim and my right to be making the "foolish" decisions."
Having said that, Rishi deflates a bit. "But then, perhaps you are being correct too. Mayhaps it would be being best if my first meeting with the Pact was not most contentious." She stops and reaches up to touch her face. Tears are running down her cheeks. "....oh. Oh. That...that must be being why I am ...upset." She starts giggling, laughing just this side of hysterical, Tears streaming down her face. "I am having the things again. I am letting the things own me." She leans against the wall of the alley before sliding down to sit on the ground, her form rippling a moment before settling back down still looking human, and still laughing and crying.
Fudou the Mountain "As I said, the Silver Pact is not some monolithic organization that has a single mindset on how the Dragonblood are viewed. If you are possessive of 'Ammie' that is understandable." says Fudou, evenly but with strange understanding in his voice despite his brutish appearence. "We lunars are possessive after all. Territorial. Do not think that other Lunars are going to simply try and 'take her' from you." He watches her as she goes through the throes of such emotional highs and lows before frowning now and then peering at her and looming forward, "..What is wrong? There is no danger here ..or in the future. Have any of us tried to take Ammie from you already? No...we haven't. So..let that be a reflection of others.. correct? You had to get to know me and the others..right?"
Rishi It takes a short while before Rishi calms down enough to explain. "No, no, it is ...my problem. I received so much from the One who is Many when I became one of our kind. I gained all that I wanted. But. I had to leave behind much that I was wanting." She gives another feral smile. "Though, less than I was expecting." before turning sad again. "I...am not regretting it. But, it taught me that, to have things, to be caring...it means you are having the things that you can be losing. You cannot be stealing from one who is having nothing."
She sighs and leans back against the wall. "So, I decided that I should be having nothing. It was being ...easy. Well, you are knowing how self sufficent those such as us are being. The Sorcery was making it even simpler. If I need a thing, I have only to be summoning the demon that is making the thing. It was being simple and easy during my travels to this place in the uttermost northlands."

"But now. Now I am having a place here. I am having people that I am helping. I am having a home. I am having partners. Beloved. I am having things I can be losing again. I can be having my heart ripped free and trampled once more."

She leans forwards, putting her head on her knees. "I am not knowing if I can handle this....but I am knowing that I do not wish to run away and be losing them that way."
Fudou the Mountain ".Uttermost northlands...?" repeats Fudou, looking confused before shaking his head to shake that off and continuing to listen. Of note he's still carrying that dang cargo of his but has yet to begin getting tired. He just simply listens, considering matters before looking away and appearing pensive and thoguhtful.

He then inclines his head and says, "I have no words of comfort for you on that matter. To live is to lose but to also gain. Mortal lives are like a vapor. Lunars themselves die for many reasons. Battle, the wyld hunt..the wyld itself. We are mercurial. Quicksilver. Able to adapt. To change. But we can still lose and feel loss. I've lost. Others have lost. I've lost things never to gain again. I can never go home either..."

He considers things a moment longer and then suggests, "..I think you can handle it but you to have to want to. You would not have been exalted if you cannot handle loss. Because..Lunars are survivors. We endure. Even if we go to ground for a time and then return, refreshed. The pain of loss..it's not forever. But it -is- pain. We can't be afraid of pain..."

Rishi Rishi sighs, hugging her knees for a moment, before nodding. "You are being most correct." She stands, wiping her face a moment, before shaking herself as some dust slides off her body, leaving her once more perfectly clean. "And, were I to be running now, I would only be losing out on that which makes the pain worthwhile. I should most certainly not be wanting to be losing that." She smiles once more.
"So. We should be trying to arrange the Pact meeting then, yes? At some point? Was there anything else you wished to be discussing?"
Fudou the Mountain "Hmm....I will attempt to find out if there is moot on the horizon. Those are gatherings, some larger then others, but it is a good way to get gossip, meet other Lunars and possibly ..intitiate some things.." muses Fudou, looking contemplative. "I will speak with one who is more connected then myself and then we will see."

Fudou then allows a grin, "Do not let yourself be troubled. It will be well. Listen, my role is usually more brutish, thuggish and destructive. I'd rather prefer to take up those acts again. Banditry and so forth as the whim strikes. I can't very well do that if I'm having to always offer counsel and advice to all of you so be of good cheer!"

Rishi Rishi laughs, then hugs his arm, pressing herself rather tightly against it. "Yes, yes, it is being most good! I shall try to relax and be happy. And, I am thinking that is needing the fruit. Lots of the fruit, so I shall be resuming my shopping! Thank you for this conversation and please be telling me what you find about this moot, yes?"
Fudou the Mountain "Yes, yes." says Fudou, waving her off now and turning, "Hmph. I need to find someone to crush and someone to be a bully to. To many good looking Lunars and Solars in need of assistance.." he grumbles before starting away and heading further down the alley. As he moves his expression becomes more somber, concerned and thoughtful. He rubs his jaw and then rounds a corner to disappear heading towards the warehouses in the darker sections fo the town to make his 'delivery'.
