Rishi The bell on the door jingles as a familiar face enters. "Hi Ammy! Everything going well?" Rishi says as she waves to her companion. She's currently pretending to look human, her "leather cloak" draped around her body lifting as she waves to show her curves barely concealed by a frothy confection that her spider calls "clothing."
Amethyst Pounce, grab, hug, squeeeeze. In that order. Ammy's in her typical human form, the one before Rishi and Hoarfrost gave her back her former wyld-form. The silver dragon giggles happily. "Hey Rish, things are dead and you're a sight for bored eyes."
Rishi Rishi smiles happily and swings her around for a moment before pulling her into a very warm and tight hug! "I'm most happy to be seeing you then!" She looks around then says "Do you wish to be talking in the back room or do you think it will be all right if we resume our normal forms out here?"
Amethyst Ammy stretches her back, and then a little bit of her anima shows as she throws a concentrated bit of water at the lock the door and it makes a neat little click. And with that she stretches out and so does all of the features she usually keeps hidden. "Ah, that feels better." And now she waits for Rishi to do the same.
Rishi Rishi grins and stretches, her cloak coming to life as the essence concealing it falls away, revealing wings as her tail snakes down and legs swap back to their proper configuration. "It really is feeling much better!" And she pulls Ammy back into a tight hug, before kissing her.
Amethyst Amethyst gives a little peck of a kiss herself and squirms around and climbs Rishi until she's set on her shoulders. The dragon is a little like a fluid when she wants to be! "So, 'sides just comin' to see me, what's up?" She idly plays with one of Rishi's ears.
Rishi Rishi closes her eyes, enjoying the sensations of her ear being played with for a few moments before she says anything. When she speaks she's a little hesitant, "...What are being your thoughts on demons? Would you be wanting a demonic servant and protector of your own?"
Amethyst "I don't really feel either way about demons. I mean, they're weird and kinda creepy but I learned to deal with you guys so I don't think it'd be that much to get used to. Though I wonder if they could meaningfully defend me." Amethyst says, shrugging a little. "What do you have in mind?"
Rishi Rishi doesn't move but Ammy can tell she's a little nervous. "I have been off doing some of the sorcerous research and I think I am being ready to be summoning the Second Circle of the demons. And I have been thinking that you might be finding a bodyguard of use. Just in the case of dangers most large."
Amethyst Ammie's eyes grow just a little wide. "A second circle. That's a risky undertaking. When you do summon, I will be there at your side in case anything goes wrong. But I do admit that would make for a good bodyguard. Who do you have in mind? I do not know my demons too well."
Rishi Rishi straightens up, a note of pride in her voice. "We of the nation of Ysyr are being most conversant with demons! There are being many, of course, but I could be summoning Octavian for you! He is a most powerful general amongst the demon hordes and his might is such that few would desire to be challenging you!" Rishi headtilts a little, though being careful not to dislodge Ammy. "Though, I suppose he might be somewhat grumpy if you did not wish to be doing the combat much."
Amethyst Amethyst hops down and contemplates. "Maybe when we have something big and scary to protect me from, it would be a good idea. But for now it might rouse more attention than it quells. I may be impressive, but I don't think I can sell summoning him myself too easily. Especially since my greatest work is one that also would sooner mark me as anathema than win any favors. I need to do some other workings to better demonstrate my sorcerous power. And for that, I'll need a workshop in the wyld."
Rishi Rishi nods, "Then perhaps I should be waiting to summon him until we are going out to be building you that workshop." She hrms, headtilting as she thinks, her dark hair flowing across her shoulders. "Ah! Sigereth! She is being a master of all of the games, so you could be playing with her on the days that are being slow! And she is being capable of calling forth an army if you are being threatened!" Rishi grins, "She is being perfect, no?"
Then a thought hits her "Oh! If she tries to get you to be wagering yourself in a game, do not be accepting. Many of her playing pieces are being people who wagered their lives against her and lost."
Amethyst "...Eesh, that's terrifying. But, that's a second circle demon for ya. I'll just wager 'em potions or somethin'. And I'm sure Octavian would go out and try to cause conflict if I didn't give him any or'd have some other weird ecentricity attached to 'em. Sigereth does sound pretty nifty tho. What kinda army is it?"
Rishi "My understanding is that she can be turning her playing pieces into large warriors, so I am thinking that they will be looking much like large golems, similar to the one she is being carried by. And she can apparently be wagering much on the outcome of her games, like the heath or the long life. Just be making sure the stakes are being clear at the beginning, before you are playing her game. And she is not liking the cheating."
Amethyst "Me, cheat? Would I ever do somethin' so silly like that?" And the grin on the dragon's face says that she very well would. "But no cheating, got it. As far as long life goes, I'm /going/ to be setting up a supply chain for me to get my hands on age-staving cordial sooner or later. I'm sure you guys'll help me in good time. But first I need to secure myself in other ways, and I figure if I start with sorcery the rest will naturally flow from there."
Rishi Rishi puts a hand on Ammy's shoulder. "If it is ever coming to it, I am being ready to be giving you some of my years if you are needing them. I was told that those chosen by the One with Many Faces are having a great means years to their lives, so it should be fine for you to be having some of mine, so that we can be pending the years together." And she pulls Ammy back into another hug and kiss.
Amethyst Amethyst blushes, and returns a little kiss. "I-If I remember reading right, Dragon-Blooded tend to leave for 500 or so years, though most of us don't make it to old age. I'm not even 20 yet, I'll be fine for now. Ample time to go and put plans into motion. It will be a true blessing of Luna's for us to live long enough to worry about age. Tho how exactly do you intend on sharing your lifespan with mine?"
Rishi Rishi waves her hand. "I am being sure that I can be finding a way with the Sorcery. As you are saying, we are having the time to be planning it and doing it correctly. Better right now to be planning on how not to be found by your Northern Pure Way monks and to be enjoying each other's company, yes?" Rishi's eyes sweep down Ammy slowly, drinking in the Silver Dragon's body, her true self made manifest.
Rishi's mouth quirks. "As long as I am being summoning the Demons, maybe I should be summoning Mara. She is said to be most adept in the ways of Sorcery and of love, so she could likely be teaching us very many things."
Amethyst "I wonder what she'd think of a Dragon that can do Sapphire Circle Sorcery." Amethyst muses. "I suppose having an actual teacher would be nice... I am still pretty young and despite my prodigal abilities, I'm sure that there's much that I can learn. Though, are there not Lunars just as capable? Or would it truly be easier to summon demons to teach us more?"
Rishi Rishi blinks a moment, then headtilts considering. "I am...not knowing many other Lunars. There must certainly be some that are knowing much, but I am not being certain what I can be offering to such an Elder for their time and experience. With Mara, I can simply be commanding her to be giving us all of the lectures, so it is being much easier!"
Amethyst "Hmm, then I ask, what danger will Mara pose? 'Cause these folks are tricky and don't usually like us callin' 'em. What should we look out for?" Amethyst asks, idly playing with one of her own ears now.
Rishi Rishi closes her eyes as she headtilts, searching her memories. "She is said to take pleasure in death and suffering and look kindly upon those with dark destinies. That said, as long as my Sorcerous Will is greater than her own, the bindings of the spell will force her do do all that I am asking of her. We are just going to be needing to make sure to ask for alternate options to using the blood and the souls in the Sorcery, I am thinking. She may not be finding it enjoyable, but I am not planning to be asking her to remain here overlong."
Amethyst "Fair enough. Though um," Amethyst pauses, and goes and gets a little vial. It's full of a dark red liquid. "This is my blood. I use blood in my sorcery quite a deal already. It's a useful reagent for representing life energy. And also helpful since they cannot disarm me of my own blood without making me bleed my last."

The two have been discussing sorcery and demon summoning, and Amethyst has locked the door for the day so anyone else wishing to visit may need to knock.

Rishi "I am thinking that Mara would be trying to be encouraging us to be using the blood of the other peoples, not our own. But she might be the good teacher for you, so that you can be learning the new tricks to using your own blood." Rishi tries to look sly and sexy at Ammy and likely doesn't succeed. "The writings of her are saying that she is also most skilled in the arts of lovemaking. So she could be teaching you, me, and Frosty many of the things."
Bright Journey There's a shuffling sound outside the door to Amethyst's shop. Perhaps someone walking by, perhaps someone walking towards the door. It stops for a long moment, then starts up again, clearly heading towards the front door. After another long moment, there's a rapid, diffident knock at the door, followed by another pause, then a sharper, more confident knock.
Amethyst Amethyst doesn't pay /any/ mind to Rishi as her face turns a bright reddish-purple. Instead her mutated features fold away as she goes to see who on earth is knocking. And so she answers the door, "Um, hello?"
Rishi Rishi also shrinks back into her human disguise, leather "cloak" pulled around her body and a satisfied smile on her face.
Bright Journey Outside the door, with a rather concerned look on her pale features, is Bright Journey. She has a wooden box in both hands with a wooden lattice inside, lined with a bit of padding to form a set of cells. Some have potion bottles, clearly used, and others are empty. Of especially interesting note, though, are her eyes. No longer silver, her irises are a riot of multiple colors.

"Hi, there, Amethyst...oh! And Rishi too. I...well, I admit I was wondering who could be in here. I'm not quite sure what I heard, but..." She shrugs helplessly. "Perhaps I heard wrong. In any case, I'm sorry to bother you but I was hoping to make a few purchases."

Amethyst Amethyst's face is one of frustration and confusing and also is she blushing? What was she doing in there? "O-o-oh! Bright! It's nice to see you." And she opens the door. "Please come in. U-um." She tries to identify the bottles in the wooden box before blinking and rubbing her eyes. And once she's inside, Ammie notes, "Rishi and I were just talking about summoning Mara to teach us how to be better sorcerers."
Rishi Rishi cocks her head to the side, her waterfall of dark hair sliding easily over her shoulder, looking at Bright's eyes. After a few moments of thought, she brightens and yanks Bright into a large hug. "Congratulations! I had not been of the knowing that you were working on the learning of the Sorcery! I am most glad that you succeeded!" She pulls back and looks Bright over, then grins! "And it looks like you are not being the maimed or having the crazy! Most Wonderful!"
Bright Journey "Oh! Oh, dear, did I catch you two in a private moment?" Bright Journey is smiling, teasing gently. "I...ack!" She barely gets the wooden box on one of the counters before being drawn (or yanked!) into a big hug! Bright laughs and hugs back before standing back just a bit, to look at Rishi and Amethyst face to face. "Hah! I should have known better than to think I'd get to surprise you with what the eyes meant. You of all people would recognize the spell, I'm sure. And, uh...yeah. I'm not maimed. Or nuts. At least...I think not." She looks down at herself and smooths down her skirt reflexively, maybe just to make sure she remembered to wear clothing before leaving her place.

"Mmm-hmm, I did! Wasn't without some struggle, but Hoarfrost helped me out some, and...well, you two of all people know how much of it is sort of dependent on yourself. I read about and asked her how she did it--sort of...a studying of the secret lore of plants and nature. That's not really my thing but I thought, human nature is still nature. I should be able to look at people, how they think and how they talk, the same way!"

Amethyst Amethyst blinks a few times. "Wait, when did you become a sorcerer?" She's a mixture of surprised and confused. "It wasn't that long ago that I undertook a year's worth of training in prep for a trial that would either kill me or grant me sorcery and you've done it in a handful of months? Is this the power of the solar exalted? Then again, considering an average dragon-blooded needs years of schooling at Heptagram to truly unlock their potential..." Amethyst is musing aloud. "Congradulations in any case."

"A-a-a-and Rishi uh, listen, it wasn't anything like that!" Amethyst finally manages to get out in response to the private moment comment. "Tell me, what did you do to unlock the power of your own sorcery?"

Rishi Rishi smiles. "In my case, it was spending the long years working on the gardens and tending the animals of the menagerie. The knowledge from the library and the seeing of the Sorcerery used by my mistress at the time was also helpful, but ...the plants called to me. I eventually learned to listen to them." She sighs and looks at Ammy. "While I certainly do not wish that I had been Chosen by another, there are the times where I am wishing I had the ...connection to plants that the Chosen of the Dragons are having."
Bright Journey Bright Journey looks a little bit aggrieved at the mention of the time frame. "I...well, I really buckled down and focused on it over the course of months, yes, but I was actually reading occult books long before that, remember. And talking to you all. And then, well, you two have an idea of what Silk and I found underneath her manse, right? All of that sort of adds up, I guess. But I don't want to make it sound like I wasn't looking into it before I really started wrestling with it earlier this year." She pauses, gathering her thoughts, as she lifts one of the bottles from her box. It's quite empty and washed, clearly being returned or refilled.

"The other thing to realize is I was sort of studying every time I went out to talk to anyone, for a long time. Just like Frost would when she's gathering reagents..."

"Ah! So you're the same way. Interesting. Now that I sort of understand what's going on, I suppose I can ask about spells I should learn, and maybe going about giving workings a try."

Amethyst "It's alright that it was so short, the chosen of the sun are known to be absolutely remarkable. Learning sorcery over a matter of months is simply proof of it." Amethyst shrugs. And then she looks towards Rishi, "It's funny, isn't it? How you yearn to learn the secrets of the dragons while I-" And in a dramatic motion, she closes her eyes and stills her essence, and her own tattoos begin to all change colors at once, before finally settling on a particular shade of silvery blue like the Lunars' tattoos. "Wanted to know the secrets of the lunars." She opens her eyes and chuckles. "And so I did a sapphire circle working to capture an ounce of the protean power of the wyld, in order to better understand those who are of both man and beast. I have to say, it is strange being an animal.
Rishi Rishi nods and headtilts, considering. "You will most definitely wish to be learning the Summoning, either of the Demons or of the Elementals. It is one of the most singularly useful aspects of Sorcery. If you have the time to spend a few hours on something, you can gain help with nearly anything."
Rishi smiles, hugging Ammy, then blinks. "Hmm! Maybe I should do that, invoke the Sapphire Circle to bind myself closer to the plants and gardens..." She seems lost in thought for a moment, before shaking her head. "But that would be best for later."

Rishi's eyes brighten "OH! Bright! Have you taken Ammy to your library yet?!"
Bright Journey Bright nods, clearly in agreement. "I won't be worrying about demons so much--you both know how Silk is about them, and they don't thrill me either--but I'm very interested in learning elemental summoning. That was what I was eyeing next, in fact. I only know a couple spells yet--one for influencing people, and one for travel."

Bright thinks. "Hmm. Well, remember it's Silk's library, not mine, though I can bring some people there. I have to be careful with its guardian, though. I'm still not a hundred percent able to predict what will set her off. I'll ask Silk."
