Amethyst Leviathan's rest is an imposing structure, a massive fortress built into the corpse of a fallen monster of some variety. Painted with red and decorated with skulls and biolumiscent flora. And with giant banners in some long forgotten tongue. Before the mouth that serves as its entrance, stands a massive crustacean of twisted bone and flesh, easily 10' and resembling more a monster of legend than a fae that actually exists.

And this monster is drilling troops, all red in scale with strange tattoos that look nothing like the sort that Elderloch has. One can smell the fresh blood in the water and the fear in the crowd. It's not exactly obvious what has been happening, but it is obvious not all has been well.

Fudou the Mountain A monster indeed..but not the only one..

The very sea floor begins to rumble and quake. The boomin footfalls of the approaching immensity and the sheer pressure of his steps eoough to send minor quakes rippling forward towards the group being drilled by the other towering armored behemoth. Before long..the source begins to make itself quite clear and quite evident.

The Mountain has arrived, grand goremaul olstered across his back, silver tattoos gleaming and his thunderous warform looming up huge, huger possibly, then even that of General Gale. The sea floor continues with its rumbles and trembles under the booming impact of the footsteps of the mammoth lunar who slowly treads into view like a mountain top cresting over the horizon.

His warform looms huge and hulking, like a warstrider bulked out to improbable proportions and he slowly brings his fingers up and presses them together producing an audible rumbling sound from the pressure therein. THe cracks of his knuckles rippling audibly through the enchanted waters with the sounds of boulders splintering and cracking. His approach is bold, lacks stealth and subtlety..but the grin on his featurs might imply that this is entirely the point.

"Greetings!" he rumbles, "I come seeking one General Gale!"

Sequioa girthed arms fall heavily to his sides and his physique flexes and rolls, tightening up like an avalanche occuring under his skin as his grin widens even further.

"Can you go and retrieve him? As certainly one so small cannot be here based on the legends I have been told. Hurry now, little ones. I can take a seat while I wait.."

Amethyst The soldiers look up at the massive form, and for a moment they're frozen in place. One of them takes a half step back, another curses under their breath, but a third stands and readies their spear, and the rest follow suit. "Halt!" One of them shouts, "What business have you with the General?" They're all being so brave.
Fudou the Mountain "Ooh..I simply want to ask him a question!"

A horrible wrenching sound of stone splintering and the sea floor sundering begins to fill the air as The Mountain reaches forth and grips hold of a jagged outcropping of stone that is itself connected to the foundation and structure of the fortress as it looms nearby once he's stopped his approach. His grin remains, unperturbed and unbothered at the line of questioning sent his way. Instead his physique seems to swell ever larger. Muscles surging with freakish power that ripples into his arms and then the rest of his torso and just when it seem he cannot possibly get more massive.he does.

A horrible sound results as the bedrock gives way and a massive boulder is shorn free and upwards by the colossus. His movements are slow and deliberate. A showcase meant to prove a point nad possibly scatter the men who seemed brave enough up until now potentially.

With a heavy *TOOOM* he sets the massive chunk down and then leaps upwards, drifting towards the top of it to land and take a seat even as more rubble and dust plumes up behind him from the destruction in a spiraling roar of stone and water.

" That's not a problem is it!"

Amethyst If they weren't scared before, they're terrified now. The entire unit backs up a few steps from the Mountain. It's at this point that another roar fills the water, followed by a loud snap. The crab has been awakened, and the massive beast lumbers forth, his men scramblinng away from him and completely breaking formation. It's telling they're more afraid of their own general than of the Mountain. With a voice like rubbing rocks together, it speaks,

"You, you dare venture this close to our fortress! For me? What possible question could you have for speaking with me?" It growls a low rumble.

Fudou the Mountain Cause a distraction? Cause chaos? Annoy? These are all things well within his wheelhouse. For too long Fudou has felt that he's languised abit. His baser urges tempered by a feeling of obligation to a perception of 'duty' and to 'Creation'.. To want to learn more about these Solar and fellow Lunar companions he's found himself dealing with..

But the truth is..he's as much a brigand and raider as the ones he fights and harasses. He's been on his best behavior in search of future enlightement but when Gale arrives he simply grins larger as he sees not a reason to restrain and behave..but instead an opportunity.

"I want to know why you harass Elderloch when you have so much more you can do. I have heard rumors and legends of your strength and power and I wanted to see it for myself and see if I can determine to what end you would waste your time and talents.." He flippantly gestures at the fortress, "WIth...this... Instead? Free yourself from this wretched sense of duty and come find the means to for yourself a legend that will never be just a memory. What do you say, General Gale?"

Amethyst "Being the founding member of a brand new court will /be/ my legend. The vary rocks will sing my perfect victory over the rotten Dream-Souled! Lesser fae will flee in terror from the mere glance of my crimson shell! And if you've heard the legends, then you already know how strong I truly am!" His voice practically sends shockwaves through the water as he speaks. "Though I admit Glorious is a fool and the soldiers are utterly worthless. /I/ could destroy Elderloch all alone."

"At least the humans make for good snacks, hmm? You look like you've had your fair share to get so strong."

Fudou the Mountain "Completely oblitering a foe beneath you ..be hardly something that is the stuff of legends Gale. I mean to hear you talk why wast eyour time? You could destroy them all alone? NOw that is quite a boast!" responds Fudou, flippant and unmoved or unbowed by the roar. That doesn't mean he doesn't take note of it or Gales words as he studies the fae, attemtping to gain an actual measure of his potential as opposed to heresay.

"But I can appreciate the ambition and the burning passion of war it's just...The Dreamsouled are so..puny so to speak. It seems to me that an evern greater feat would be co-existing and discovering how to while facing even greater threats together--but I suppose its too late for that eh? Glorious is perhaps not so glorious after all."

He slowly drags himself from his seated position and looks down towards the General while grining once again, "..I have enjoyed my share of great meals, yes. I can't say I've had a taste for -human- though. I doubt it'd help me.."

His eyes flicker over the fortress briefly before rumbling, "But yes I have heard your legend but now I have some concerns. I tell you what. Why not 'indulge' me?"

Amethyst "Oh right, you nonfae don't get anything from eating souls, do you?" Gale scoffs. "So what you're saying is that it'd be better for me to put myself up against one of the cursed silver ones and win, hmm? Especially one who looks like he's stolen his muscles off of a great beast himself."

"You want proof?" And he grabs at the very rock Fudou sits. "I'll give you proof."

Amethyst The sounds of popping and straining of the creature's muscles fill the water, followed by crack and then a single mighty crunch, the crab monster breaks the massive rock in half, then smashes each of its pieces. He grins at the Mountain. "Name the contest, and I'll crush you."
Fudou the Mountain The instant before his perch detonates under Gale's power, Fudou leaps, springing up from his perch to then fall backwards away from it and land with a heavy *BOOM* just as the massive piece of rubble sunders and pieces go spraying ain all directions. His grin becomes tighter now, eyes gleaming behind his spectacles as he laces his fingers together and cracks his knuckles once more.

"Stolen! Cursed! Tth. This is all hard earned muscle, General Gale! And I am quite eager to put it to the task here. You -might- prove a worthy challenge or you might disappoint me but ..such is life! Still, I would think the honor of defeating one of Luna's chosen should be more appealing then attacking a city you could easily destroy on your own..."

His full toothed grin returns and he rumbles, "..and for me to name it? Well a contest of battle seems boring for ones like us. Perhaps a test of more athletic degree? A contest of true strength. But..if that doesn't interest you.."

His hand reaches up and his massive fingers curl around the haft of his grand goremaul, "We can go 'basic'.. And for the record no, I eating human souls does nothin' for me but.." his eyes narrow and his grin becomes darker, "..I have heard that fae tastes rather nice.."

Amethyst This does give Gale some pause as he considers. "Mountain man makes a good point. A true test of strength and courage! Not some petty squabble like Glorious enjoys, but to challenge each other like true men!"

"But a challenge without consequence is boring, and none would even know of my feat if succeeded. Perhaps I should find an audience, and perhaps a friendly wager? Hmm?"

"But even if I don't need to destroy Elderloch to prove my strength, the Dream-Souled are still a scourage upon the wyld! Their powers could make me into a mere human! Could you imagine?!" And the reality of why he wants Glorious' help and why he puts up with him: He's /afraid/ of the Dream-Souled.

Fudou the Mountain Nodding in approval, the massive lunar releases the grip on his weapon but then is forced to take true pause, if only for a moment at the words of the gigantic fae. "..Make you human?" he repeats, sounding surprised and caught on the back foot at first before he truly seems to take an understanding of the situation.

But he holds that for himself for now, to share later if the chance arises. This entire thing may go wholly sour depending on what is happening inside and he must continue..

And in truth, there is no subterfuge here on this front - he -wants- to test the might of the General for himself. It's a happy accident that it lines up with the attempted plans of the others.

"That is indeed rather shocking sounding. Very well. You are wise! Yes, go your own path General Gale. A true contest worthy of us and with a crowd of your witneses. Will your men and more besides suffice?" 5rHe pauses and then grins, "As to a wager.. What if I could ensure that you will never face such a threat from The Dream Souled? Being turned 'human'...?"

Amethyst That gives Gale pause. "Legends say that Elderloch's Dream-Souled can do all manners of things to a fae, from making us into objects to stealing our powers to rendering us mortal and tying us forever to Creation, a fate worse than death. They take the wyld and bend it around themselves in a way that only us Raksha should be able to! They're some sort of abomination between the wyld and creation and it disgusts me."

"...But, to be free from their tyranny so that I might be the strongest in all the Dreaming Sea, it is a worthy wager." He rubs at whatever counts as a chin on his head.

Fudou the Mountain "You don't have to -like- your neighbors to feel safe around them." notes Fudou, treading more cautiously now as he's entering territory that is in truth..not his strength. He is -not- a negotiator. He'simply thought to approach this by meeting Gale where he thought Gale would be..because ..as he surmised correctly..the two are alike..even with similar desires and goals. But this could easily go very, very wrong and the thought of what is happening in the fortress could also turn this upside down.

"We are not so different." he notes, "Our wishes are the same In fact, it sounds like we'd have to have challenged each other eventually as only one can be the strongest, right? Listen..GLorious is beneath you. You've made this clear. Go your own way with this. Let me secure this for you. In return, you all simply leave each other alone. Let the Wyld work out its own issues with abominations while you continue to grow in strength without being at risk. You don't hurt them. They don't hurt you."

He inclines his head and grins slowly, "An oath, yes? If broken, all bets are off with punishment worthy of the breaking.."

He ponders this and then rumbles, "And if I lose then you can simply continue on your presenet course. Why bother though?"

Amethyst Gale narrows his eyes at Fudou, "You Creation-Born are not easily bound by oaths like us Raksha are." He grins a toothy grin, and one can see the... too many teeth he has inside his mouth. "But I have magic that will let it be so."

One can /feel/ the wyld react to his call. Ripples of energy rumble across the ocean floor as gossamer rises and forms a tie between the two. "I've never formed an oath child with a Creation-Born before, but there's a first for everything."

The whirling essence begins to form something from the dust and rock of the seabed, as well as the gossamer strands which Gale had offered. With a single bound of energy, the essence condenses and sends a shockwave beyond.

Standing before them both is something confusing at first. It's like an armored Yeddim, but with gills and fins instead of legs, and with the armored pads all over its body reminiscent of the chintin of Gale's body. The creature is huge, easily larger than either of the two. Their eyes curiously gaze upon both.

"So long as they live, we must abide by our words. Glorious never could convince me to swear an oath to him. And I'm already tired of the foolishness he's brought upon us by locking up the oath child I made for him. None the less, the wyld will ensure we cannot break these bonds, and I dare wonder what would happen to a Creation-Born that broke such a pact."

Fudou the Mountain This was....unexpected though he's learned quite abit and if he can cut back on Gale's involvement here..so be it.

"Hrrrrn.." he rumbles. This is why he doesn't attempt these sort of things usually.

"So then.." he rumbles while looking cautiously at this new working of chaos. "We are agreed.. You will -not- attack Elderloch or do harm to the Dreamsouled and I will ensure that the Dreamsouled of ELderloch do you no harm or use their powers to turn you mortal so that you may continue to build your legend.."

He quiets and then finally adds, "It seems that I'm risking more then you with this contest. If I win, you actually get something good out of it while I'm still bound by ensuring they keep their side of this bargain. You get something out of it either way. You get to march on Elderloch to defend your future..or you are made safe from their magicks. What else can you offer me if I win? That will benefit me and me alone?"

Amethyst "Well, hmm." This makes Gale consider, "Well, if you can truly best me, I will serve you instead of Glorious. You seem like a more interesting man anyway. Not a little baby that gets upset when he sees the name of his old enemy or something." Gale rolls his eyes. "You are strong and tough and if stronger than I, which Glorious is not, I see you as a better one to follow."
Fudou the Mountain The giant lunar is not one to normally seek forllowers or raise armies or anything of that nature ..but if General Gale is truly all he is implying himself to be..having such a force and ally in the Dreaming Sea or wherever he may need him..well that is hardly something that can be shirked at. Especially as FUdou would largely leave him to his own devices to do as he will.

"Now that is a worthy offer. I accept."

Amethyst "Excellent." Gale slaps his hands together. "Now let me call my men, and we shall see who is the strongest!" And with that, he looses a mighty roar, a specific one too. One can almost hear the joy in his voice, and the calling of arms. Soon, soldiers begin to come from the mouth, forming up into lines until Gale barks orders, "Relax, watch, enjoy and see your general best this Lunar! Bring food, this is a celebration!"

The men are somewhat confused, but break from formation to form more of a crowd. Soon there's an entire mass of soldiers present, all looking somewhat confused and all of them keeping their distance from Gale. Once the folks slow to a trickle, one imagines this is about the size of the army itself. He just called them all out here to watch this spectacle. Perhaps fortunately Glorious isn't interested.

Fudou the Mountain The giant lunar gives a slight smile, eyes gleaming abit with anticipation. "Well done!" he rumbles. He then turns and looks over as the roar ripples through the waters and the audience grows..and grows..and continues to grow.

Turninga way he steps away from Gale to move towards one of the larger pieves of rock that remained from the previous smashing and he unshoulders his weapon to lay it aside and gai more freedom of movement. His face is..slightly -less- positive now as he is facing away from Gale. A look of 'Oh boy' as the fact that he was not able to actually get away in time to ensure that he could live up to his side of the bargain via calling upon his allies.

But he's stuck now. What could go wrong? Right?
