Tepet Makara In the thousand temples of Great Forks. The Immaculacy is a minority here thanks to most of the god's resentment at the religion. However a dynast enters one of it's few temples to pray to the Immaculate Dragons for guidance on the correct path he will take. He would kneel to revere them while getting his prayer bead out of his pocket as he mutters his words to the dragon of his aspect Danaa'd...of course that is not the true dragon that gifted him his exaltation for it is Luna that chose him. "why did you grant me this accursed gift that made me Anathema? is this a sick joke to damn me to this fate? of all the people in Creation, why did I have to be a silver beast that stalks the night?" His prayer is not out of reverence to Luna but rather asking futile questions that would never get answered by this mysterious goddess. Ever since his exaltation, he loathes his new state for he once dreamed to join the ranks of the princes of the Earth but got the attention of the ever changing moon. Deep inside, he hopes to get his answers someday on why he became one of her champions. Once his silent prayer is over, he would exit the temple and head for a fruit stand as he sought to bring some back to the Cynis satrapy for him to savor later.
Rishi At the fruit stand, a tall southern woman with a leather cloak, a waterfall of long dark hair, and a voice that has more honey in it than is on the fruit here is picking up some strawberries. When she turns, her cloak opens for a moment revealing abundant curves and not much clothing, before concealing herself once more. She looks at the approaching Dragon Blooded and shrinks in upon herself slightly as she moves quickly to get out of his way ...except she stops short, visibly surprised, and turns back to look at the Dragon Blood now approaching the stand.
Before he can order, the woman says, from behind him "I will pay for this person. Please be bringing him the best of your berries of the straw." The person at the counter hurries to fill the order.
Tepet Makara "uhm miss? is something wrong?" He says with a baffled tone while wondering what's this sudden generosity is about. "I admit the free berries are uh interesting, I'll probably eat them later once I'm back at Greyfalls....so thanks for that" Makara mutters while thanking the woman, although he finds her being startled by his presence a bit odd, wondering what that was about. Is it due to the fact he's a visiting Realm dynast? Even if his dragon blooded nature is all a ruse it may have startled some people due to most people in the East not taking kindly to the Realm especially with their attempted invasions."
Rishi She smiles at him. "No, no, they are being most wonderful. Please, be enjoying them now while they are being fresh. I am being called Rishi and..." She tilts her head to one side, hair flowing, considering him. "...If you are having the time, I would be liking to be talking with you. Could we be walking together for a little while?"
Tepet Makara "Ah I see. Since I'm new to this city a walk doesn't seem bad. I'm Tepet Makara by the way" He would nod to Rishi while giving her a curious glance. Although he was planning to eat the berries back at his home in Greyfalls, he follows the suggestion of eating them freshas he eats some of them one by one. "These berries taste good, the North lacks these kinds of fruits due to it's freezing wastes. I've been there for a long time and new to most of the East" He says as he walks in the streets littered with hundreds of temples and shrines.
Rishi "Ah, yes they are being quite lovely." she pauses to look at him once more. "You are being ...from the Realm, yes? The House of Tepet is being one of the most of the important, yes?" She seems a bit troubled or confused, and hrms for a bit, looking around, before her face clears and she points him in another direction. "Ah! This shrine! It is being one you should be seeing!" and pushes him towards it, with an impressive degree of strength.
From the outside, it looks like a modest and rather disused shrine of stone and wood, though large enough to have a small room inside. Inside, it opens up a fair amount and there's an impressive pool of still clear water inside situated under an open skylight. No-one else is present aside from the two of you.
Tepet Makara "Well House Tepet was...we were beaten at the North by that Forsaken Anathema, the Bull. Ever since that happened, it has been a downward spiral for the other houses have been preying on us except for a few are like vultures and hungry raitons looking at a dying yeddim calf" He says with resentment as he mentions some of the houses but shrugs it off to change the topic. "Yes, I am indeed from the Blessed Isle, although my activities in the East has kept me a bit preoccupied" Makara mentions his reasons of being in the East. Of course his reasons for being in this direction is one of many. Despite the torn down look of the shrine, he doesn't mind it's current state. Although he is mostly familiar with Immaculate lore, he wonders what divinity is this dedicated to. He finds the pool a bit serene and peaceful as he looks at the reflection.
Rishi Rishi stands off to the side, saying "I think this place is being where you are needing to be praying, if you are seeking the answers." she gestures up at the hole in the roof. "That is so that the ...moon can be shining in, upon the pool at night. It is being most impressive to watch. Most serene. If you can be waiting here long enough, it might be most good for you to be seeing it. But, if you are having the questions now, ...I may be able to be answering them?"
Tepet Makara "How did you know?" Makara says with a bewildered expression as someone has pierced through on what he really is without even telling a lie...although he is still an amateur when it comes to deception at best. "The moon truly is an unknowable mistress with many forms, she even has a shape resembling the dragon of water, Danaa'd." He mutters while looking at Luna's relflection on the pond, still pondering on the reason why he became one of her children. "Questions huh? I don't know what should I ask in the first place, but why did she choose me?"
Rishi "The ways of the One who is Many are mysterious, but ...there are being things they are fond of. I was being Chosen because I decided to become my true self, regardless of what others are saying. They are also liking the people who can be surviving, who can be choosing their own path, or who are being the shunned by the society. Or the many other reasons." She shrugs, then her voice takes on a different cadence, like she was preaching. "But now, and forever more, until the end of your current life, you are being the gift of the choosing. You are having the power to be whoever you are wishing to be. And, if you are ever wanting to be something else? poof! You are getting to be something else!"
She puts her hands on his shoulders and looks into his eyes, smiling at him. "You are being blessed with the ultimate power to be choosing for yourself what you are wanting from your life and then doing that. You are having the true freedom in this world of the locks and chains and walls. Even if we must be hiding, we are always being free. Never be forgetting that."
Tepet Makara "I see, I remember my exaltion when I was struggling in the northern wastes all alone for my fellow soldiers died while escaping the Bull's army. She appeared to me in that form I mentioned before, a silver dragon in the night sky. I don't know why she choose something so similar to the Immaculate Dragons, whether as a mockery to my Immaculate beliefs or as a sign for me. Now that you mentioned she choose survivors....I did endure the cold wastes of the North even if I was dying of starvation and all alone for the other soldiers in my annihilated legion was destroyed" Once he gains insight on why Luna gave her the spark of primal power, the more he begins to understand albeit slowly as he once viewed it as an act of cruelty. "After my exaltation, I don't know what to do as I'm still loyal to my House as they are my family. Instead of running away in fears of a Wyld Hunt, I choose to stay and became a false dragon hiding among the Realm."
Rishi Rishi pulls the man into an embrace. "I am being most sorry for what you have endured. The choosing... Whether to be staying to to be going... I chose to be going, because that was what was being right for me. You must be choosing what is right for you. If you are choosing to be staying... Do not be following the Wyld Hunting into this city. It will not be ending well. But, otherwise, I am wishing you the well."
she pulls him back into the hug. "If you are choosing to be leaving, then you may be coming back here and I can be teaching you, if you are wishing, or I can be helping." She steps back and headtilts once again looking at him. "Or...if you are being unable to be deciding... I am having friends who are knowing your Realm. Talking to them is most certainly being helpful to you. Once they are returning."

she cups his face and looks into his eyes once more "Know this. Whatever decision you are making, Luna loves you for it and they are knowing that you are being worthy of the gift you bear. No matter what others are saying, you are only a monster if you are choosing to be one."

"For that is the true gift we are being given: the Choice to be whoever we wish to be, the freedom to be who we truly are. Do not be forgetting that."
Tepet Makara Tepet Makara says, "I can't sadly leave my House for it's in great peril at the hands of it's rivals" Makara mutters but knows deep inside he may have to abandon his family in case his secret was discovered by Immaculate inquisitors, for both of his own good and theirs as well. "But do not worry, even if I am a dynast I will never call upon a Wyld Hunt here. Someone has been training me to become a saboteur but I sadly cannot mention their name" He would say to his fellow child of Luna, but he feels pity for them for he could not join the other Lunar's cause. "Even if I cannot join the Silver Pact...well not right now, I'll return here If i can since I can just fly here through one of my shapes. I'll be sure to visit this shrine again fellow chosen of Luna. Anyway, there are others here like us in Great Forks correct? I meet someone named Fudou here but I don't know if there are some hidden here""
Rishi Rishi smiles at the name. "Yes, there are being many of us here, so you are being in the good company. And..do not be worrying about the Pact of Silver. It it being most important to be doing what you are needing to be doing. The care of the self is being most important."
"I will be here regularly, if you are needing the help. And... Whatever else our fellow Chosen are doing, I am being the Healer and the Medic. I am a helper of those in need. I am not being fond of your Realm, but I am also not turning away the ones who are needing the help." She gives a wry smile. "This is extending to those members of your family who are not trying to do the killing of me. Or you."

She gives him one last hug. "I hope you are being the well and that you are finding your way. I hope it is not too painful...but remember, you were being chosen because you can be surviving anything. Whatever happens, you can be surviving this too."
Tepet Makara "Nice meeting you Rishi" He accepts the Lunar's hug as if it was meeting a sibling. "But I'll be going now, my leave would be expected to end tomorrow and I do not want to infuriate my Cynis lords which would draw suspicion upon me" He finds a particular spot near the shrine where he could privately so no one may witness him changing his form. He takes the No Moon's words as advice and then changes to a Pterok while gazing at the light of the pale moon. Makara gives a silent nod in his form as farewell, then he flies to the skies of Great Forks as the flying beast heads for the direction of the Hundred Kingdoms where Greyfalls is located
