Amethyst Tall, bright stone, lined with alchemical lights and large banners, one each to each of the five elements and emblazoned with the mon to the respective elemental dragon, each with high realm and old realm describing simple alchemical principles. The structure is clearly made to deal with someone who's anima routinely melts lesser materials, and the front holds a perfectly balanced door that one can open with great ease. Also on the door is a sign with 'Welcome' written in High Realm, Old Realm, Flametongue, Forest Tongue, and Riverspeak. And above the door, in old realm, is the most basic of all of the alchemical principles, 'As above, so below'. Whoever had this place built clearly has money to throw around, a structure like this is not built cheaply.

Inside is the shop proper, walls lined with cabinets, the center lined with shelves, and all sorts of alchemical products are on display, some under lock and key, cheaper items in the open. And in the back is a large work table with various alchemical apparati. And working around the table, contemplating, considering, measuring and carefully mixing is the alchemist herself.

A young water-aspected dragon-blooded, with brilliant violet eyes and violet hair with a streak of green. She's covered in glowing rainbow-colored tattoos, and then there's her ears. Both are long and pointed and seem to be fully motile, each with a tiny violet tinge to it. Despite being here in the east, her features are more similar to that of one of the dynasts than someone native to the area.

Upon her face are a pair of violet-tinged goggles, a suit of leather specially treated to resist the alchemical reagents she routinely works with, and more belts and pouches than one could image.

Tepet Makara A man seemingly in a Realm military officer buff jacket would arrive to visit the rumored alchemist he may have heard from the others. Even if they are blessed with the blood of dragons, it seems she also deals with the Solar and Lunar anathema. Seeing as she may be the best option on interpreting his more recent nightmares. "sorry If i disturb anything but is this the shop of the dragon blooded alchemist? I hear you are well versed in certain subjects since I have been plagued by seemingly nonsensical dreams"

The "prince of the earth" would introduce himself once he enters the shop. "My name is Tepet Makara, dragon of water and officer back in Greyfalls." He would say in a High Realm accent even if the tongue is riverspeak. Since he knows she tolerates exalts that are deemed anathema, it seems he doesn't need to pretend. "Since I've heard you interact with exalt deemed "Anathema" the part of me saying that I am a dragon of water is a lie...for I am that of the moon"

Bright Journey In between the newts' eyes and frog toes is another customer, a young woman with a long fall of straight pink hair. She's looking intently at the neat array of alchemical concoctions, considering them carefully...but she spends one moment in three glancing at Amethyst with a grin tugging at the corner of her mouth. She's clearly amused by something not immediately apparent, but then, Amethyst is focused on her work--just as well for an alchemist! The pink haired woman does not try to divert Amethyst's attention in any way.

t Instead, she slowly turns as Tepet Makara comes into the shop. She gives him a mischievous smile and chuckles quietly.

"Well, well. I see you try that line on all the ladies."

Then he drops a -massive- bombshell by just laying out what he is like a behemoth falling onto a mountain. Her multicolored eyes widen and her mouth gapes like a fish out of water for a moment before she composes herself.

"That's, uh, a hell of a thing to say right out of the gate..."

Silk Moon Lotus Silk has been planning to visit Amethyst's shop since returning. She has spent the last few days in the city visiting her various businesses and informants reestablishing her lines of communication. This will be a nice break for herself to speak to her dragon blooded friend where life and death are not a razor's edge away.
Silk pauses outside the door to the shop to listen before entering. It would not do for her to barge in on Ames while she is at a delicate phase of some process or if she has a customer that she doesn't know. She hears the voice of a man that she does not know and opens the door slowly and quietly so as to not startle anyone recklessly. It would be poor fashion to get stabbed so soon after getting home. "I brought the wine Ames, do you have the glasses ready?"
Amethyst The alchemist stops what she's doing, gently placing a vial down and with a flick of her wrist extinguishes heating the pot. "Ah, they told you that I'm friendly to anathema but couldn't even be bothered to share my name? You're lucky that I haven't yet enlisted someone else to run the shop on the daily."

Her ears perk up as she giggles, putting her goggles on her head, and walking over towards the man, stopping only briefly to grab something out of one of the cabinets. She pulls her ears back and notes, "And presumably since you still call yourself an officer of Greyfalls, you're either lying to me or playing a very dangerous game and hoping that the wyld hunt doesn't come knocking. I don't particularly like dealing with people who are so blatent about who and what they are, so I'd appreciate if you could keep a lower profile, yeah?" There's what feels like a venerable wave of sorcerous energy fall over the room as she glares, her tattoos shifting more rapidly as she punctuates her point with her sorcerous power.

But as the tide comes, it recedes, and she smiles and her ears perk up again. "This is some sleeping tea. Take some before bed and it should give you a deep dreamless sleep."

She still hasn't even mentioned her name, perhaps deliberately.

She gives a polite nod to Bright and Silk, "Of course, just give me a moment, I'll go fetch them." She just tosses the bottle she was holding at Makara and flees into the back.

Tepet Makara "I admit I have to tell it since keeping up such a secret can be a bit tedious but I find pretending to be one here is unnecessary, another Lunar named Faolan informed me of you" He says while admittedly a bit embarassed about it. "But I assure you I am indeed a Lunar and not some shikari posiing as an anathema to leak information to some immaculate nuts attempting to cause more trouble." He would sigh as last time he meet a shikari in Greyfalls, he was more annoyed rather than scared of their fanaticism while undercover.

He would then explain some details of his dreams. "Thanks for the suggestions of the sleeping tea but I will have to describe some of my dreams" He would then explain the first of the dreams. "I remember one of my first dreams is that I was following someone in the Underworld. The figure I was following is hazy for some reason as if the dream doesn't allow me to see what they are but the only defining feature is the sun's mark on their forehead. The figure informed me we were runnin from "usurpers" but I still lack context on it."

Bright Journey At the exchange between Makara and Amethyst, Bright just remains silent for a moment. She frowns deeply and gives Silk a quick, but meaningful look. She then looks at Makara, her expression at its most serious, her brows furrowed.

"You have obviously offended her," Bright starts, "and frankly you terrify me. I realize you are focused on your own problems right now, but I gave you some advice about your dreams before, and I'm going to give you some advice about life now. -Your- life, in case it wasn't clear. Frankly, I don't know if you're Chosen of the Dragons, or Luna, or my mum's aunt Petunia. And I don't care. Great Forks is better than a lot of other places, but the Wyld Hunt can come here too, and if you don't care about your own life or your Anathema, think about all the innocents that will die if they show up. Any time you feel like the word "Lunar" will pass your lips, remember those innocents. All right? Whatever you are, -keep it down-. Or the next time you visit Greyfalls might be your last, don't you think?"

Bright Journey exhales sharply, as if trying to expel the negativity from her body. "Anyway. Sermon over. I'm not going to do anything to help you with your dreams as long as you can't be subtle, and while I don't speak for Amethyst I'm frankly not holding my breath. Just relax and try to earn trust before thrusting all this on people. You'll find it works out a great deal better, I promise."

Silk Moon Lotus Silk smiles at her friends "I'm glad to see you are just as friendly as always. I do hope I brought enough wine with me." Silk holds up three dark green bottles with wax seals on them.
Silk looks over at the Makara and the casual bearing she was presenting vanishes. Replaced with a keen eye and a more serious expression. "I'm not like my friend here at all. I love a good mystery. That being said I will give you a clue or at least my opinion. From what you are discribing, that's not a dream. That's a memory from a previous life. I've had some myself from time to time. Normally they are more instructional like remembering how to fight or things of that nature. I don't know that I've had one that was prophetic."
Silk looks over at Amethyst "Did you ever get those silencing wards setup? We don't want anymore cultists overhearing us. Didn't you invite Rishi?"
Tepet Makara Makara then sighs due to Bright's sermons and feels a bit awkward. By the gods Enriching Rain is going to scold me once he finds out I'm bad at being subtle again. He would thought as before his exaltation, he was not a very good liar due to him being a goody two shoes legionnaire. "Again, I'm sorry for my lack of subtlety but I don't think the Wyld Hunt could even hear us here....well I hope." Once the topic of a past life is brought up, the more it starts to make some sense. "A past life? So that dream from the underworld isn't a dream at all but a memory? I wonder why it obscured the figure I was following as if it's censored" He doesn't like the implications on why their identity was hazy in the dream.

"I also have other dreams that may be related to it but I'm not sure if it helps"

Amethyst Amethyst returns with the glasses, and breaths deeply. "One who cannot master himself will never master the world. You'll need some help if you're going to understand what it means to be subtle. My shop is a place of business where two strangers have wandered in, in the midst of you admitting your dearest secrets. If you have such things to tell, at least wait until we are off of the floor."

Amethyst shakes her head towards Silk, "Haven't had the time, too busy catching up on things." And to Bright, "I invited Rishi, but I don't know where she is. I'm sure she'll show."

"But, as far as past life memories go, I might be able to help you. Past through my family is a particular skill at looking into the memories of others, and I can see into your mind and perhaps make sense of what you are seeing." And to see if your words are truthful, but she doesn't mention that part out loud.

Rishi There is a knock at the door before it opens and a beautiful woman opens it, smiling as she sweeps in. Her long blond hair contrasts with the dark leather cloak that covers most of her body, though it opens enough to show tantalizing glimpses of curves underneath. "Hii Ammy, a...Oh? Hello. I am not being sure we have been introduced?" She smiles at Makara.
"Hi Bright! Hi Silk! Did you bring the wine?"
Tepet Makara Makara would nod as he really needs to practice his subtlety more. "Oh you know Rishi as well? I meet her once in a shrine." It's a small direction after all, Makara would mutter and then notices the No Moon having recently entered the shop as well. "oh hello again Rishi"

He would then turn to Amethyst as he wonders what kind of method they will use to peer through his dreams. "alright, I don't know what is the method like but I am up for it unless you have other requirements"

Bright Journey Bright sighs a bit and offers Rishi a desultory wave. "Well, Silk brought the wine, and I brought a lecture. I think I know who will be more popular." She chuckles again. "In all seriousness, our new acquaintance Makara here has monopolized my attention enough, as important as the message was. At the very least, all my sermonizing has parched my throat. A glass of wine would do me well."

Bright maneuvers around the shop and stands to the side, the better to watch Amethyst and Makara. Aside to Rishi, she says, "You know how we were saying earlier there's a...I don't know, a -confluence- of meetings that happen here every so often? This man, Makara, has managed to meet no fewer than -three- of the four of us in...what, two weeks? Ever since those dreams? I was reading about a god named Plentimon once, a powerful god of gamblers. He has bugs...Ladybugs, I think, that can cause fortuitous meetings. If one of those is around, I wonder if I could meet it...learn from it. I think from what I read about...well..." She pauses, glancing at Makara briefly, before looking back at Silk and Rishi. "I wonder if there isn't one around, particularly given your talents, Silk. I think I might be able to get it to teach me."

Silk Moon Lotus With Amethyst taking command of the situation, Silk reverts back more casual manner. She starts heading for the back room of the shop with the bottles. "I know someone that can setup such a thing for you if you wish it. I'm sure it will not be too costly. I know you dragon bloods have piles of money to spend" She looks over at Rishi "Of course I did, from my winecellar."
Silk looks at Bright with a slightly bamused look on her face. "You want to meet a ladybug? I think I've spotted a few around the arena. I don't think they are spe special gambling kind though. They are servants of a god of gamblers you say?" Silk thinks about it a moment. "I am having a card tournament in a couple of days. Maybe one of them will show up?"
Amethyst Amethyst has to constrain herself slightly when she spots Rishi, but it's clear she's excited to see her. "I got the glasses, Silk has the wine, and we're taking this party into the back where the general public can't see us." She looks particualrly at Makara.

"As far as looking into your memories go? You need only be willing." Amethyst explains. "And I'm sure I'll be compensated for my efforts, yes? Services like these don't come cheap."

She goes and flips the sign to say closed, locks the door, and leads folks into the back area.

Her workshop is a large room with a big table in the very center, more alchemical aparati than one can imagine here and there along the walls, a few bookshelves with books on various topics, and seats for the table itself. And Amethyst speaks something in Flametongue to Rishi, with a big grin on her face.

"Um, remind me why I gathered you all here? The turn of events today has spun me around a little bit."

Tepet Makara "fate is truly a crazy thing...even if it bless my wish with a monkey's paw" This is not the first time fate played with him like a sick joke for instead of exalting as a dragon, he became a moon blessed monster born from the aftermath of Futile Blood both figuratively and literally.

"for my other dreams, there are some that play out in order. The first is I was at the woods at night followed by shadows surrounding me, the next is I am in a mountain path running away from something and the last is I am in a cave as I gaze above at the ceiling, to see an object that resembles the moon yet glowing with a sickly light with cracks on its surface hangs impossibly overhead. For the compensation for your help, I'll think about it"

Rishi Her eyebrows go up! "Oh yes! Hello again! I hope that our discussion in the shrine was being most helpful." She looks around. "What are we being doing now?"
Rishi headtilts, considering. "I could be trying to be sniffing out one of those spirits for you. It would be most nice to be having a better idea why these strange meetings are happening, yes. I could be visiting the card game to be smelling if one is being there."

Rishi follows everyone into the back room where she *stretches* out, revealing her mutations, as her wings stretch out. "Ahhh, that is being much more nice." She tilts her head as Makara talks about his dream. "Ah, you are having the dreams?" she nods sagely "Those are sounding like the memories from your previous self, yes?" she looks around for confirmation.
Bright Journey Bright gives Silk a firm nod. "That makes sense. I might just join you for that, actually, or at least hang out there a bit. If they're as easy to find as all that, I might not have too much trouble. Thank you!"

She pauses for a moment and grins at Amethyst. "Well, I wanted to get together to celebrate something that happened the last time you, Rishi and I were together, but I'm not sure..." She looks doubtful for a moment, glancing at Makara, but all of a sudden Rishi -shifts-, suddenly and without warning, and...well, it's clear Bright has seen this before.

Ruefully, she says, "Aaaaand I should have seen -that- coming. All things considered, I think now that we're in private it might be time to lay some of our cards on the table.

"IF, and only if, Makara shows us his hand first." She looks intently, but not aggressively, into Makara's eyes. "So. Tepet Makara. You're in private, you've made a very bold claim, and frankly I kind of want to speak freely, but can't yet. All of that leads to you." She all of a sudden gives Makara a cheeky grin, belying her serious aspect before. "If you're chosen of Luna, if you see the past, you have tattoos, do you not? You definitely should have Luna's sign on your brow.

"Let's see the truth."

Silk Moon Lotus Silk nods in agreement with Rishi "Of course you are welcome in my fine establishment. Try not to distract the players while you look for the spirit. I think it anyone tampers with the players or the game, they god my be displeased and not allow his fine servators to arrive. At least that's why I read in one of the many books Bright likes to leave lying around the house." She winks playfully at Bright. "You can come too Bright, just no batting your eyes at the players to distract them. Unless you plan to play?"
"Oh yes, that thing that you were working on, I know that you finished it since we are all here now. Sorry for falling asleep during the final part." She laughs a little at her own joke.
Are we playing show and tell Bright? I mean the wine I brought is from the "older" part of the wine cellar so it must be good."
Amethyst Amethyst pinches her nose and rubs her head, "You walk into my shop, tell me you're having trouble with your nonsensical dreams, tell me about them /anyway/, and claim you're a Lunar within the span of the first five minutes of meeting me before you even got a chance to ask for my name, and now you're telling me you're not gonna pay me for helping you."

Amethyst starts giggling a pained giggle. "By the dragons you have some balls I'll give you that. I guess I ought to expect it from a Tepet, but didn't your house lose pretty horribly to the anathema in the north? You're still pretty full of yourself I'll give ya that." She shakes her head.

"I have half the nerve to escort you out of my shop. I'll stay my hand for now, but show at least a little respect, alright?"

Tepet Makara In an instant, the tattoos and the mark of a full moon would glow around his body to prove he is indeed a child of Luna to Bright. "I wonder if that's enough but if not, then I'll turn into my chimera form just In case." He would then turn to Amethyst as it seems he may have pissed her off "wait I didn't mean to say I won't pay you, I was just wondering how much is the price" By the gods in Yu-shan, I didn't expect this to happen. Makara would thought as his social skills is not that great besides the usual. If his mentor Enriching Rain was here, he would not just be disappointed by his lack of skills in this situation but would even laugh. "I'm sorry if I angered you, I'm admittedly bad at phrasing sometimes"
Rishi Rishi giggles. "Sorry Bright, I was not knowing you were trying to be staying incognito. But I was meeting him and helping him. I think it was being the One who is Many's guiding hand in that case though."
Once his tattoos appear, Rishi looks them over, examining how they were made. She nods. "Most nice."
Bright Journey Bright crosses her arms, looking Tepet Makara over and nodding. "All right. For now I'd say your heart should be in the right place, since if the wrong people hear about you, you're sure to be on their target list. Please, -please- be careful. It's all our lives, plus many others, if the wrong people think to look here."

Bright smiles. "Hopefully that's enough of -that-. Anyway, to why I wanted to celebrate. Aside from the little project we completed the other week, I know I mentioned I sort of...saw things a different way, but I never elaborated. I...well, when we were finishing up the project, I saw what you were doing, Amethyst. And...I think I saw underneath -why- all the runes and whatnot work the way they do. I didn't want to say anything until I managed it for myself, but just the other day, I did it. I finally figured it out, and I wanted to share that with you all."

Bright takes a long moment to gladly pour herself a glass of wine and offers everyone a beaming smile. "I stood in the garden and managed to -duplicate- the effects of all the runes. On my own, no tools." She waits a long, savoring moment to drop the other shoe.

"Two mornings ago I willed myself from my balcony to the edge of the city. Shaping took a few moments, but once it was done the trip was -instant-. Mind you, I was pretty queasy and had to walk back." She looks rueful. "A work in progress. But I think I turned a corner in my sorcery. I can't cross the East with it or anything, but I bet I could get halfway to Nexus. And I think I know how to take others with me."

Silk Moon Lotus Silk smiles at Makara "Nice markings, I don't know if the room will handle your war form. I would suggest against it."
"I don't have anything nearly as amazing as that to tell you all. I did start learning to fight with my prize from the battle. Raullaur spent some time the other day going over forms with me. I've about mastered summoning it to my hand from the weapon rack. I've learned the same trick for my armor. I think I know how to hide it like I can other things." Silk pauses for a moment, "OK, that is pretty cool, I think I found the weapon's name as well in one of my books. Heart of the Phoenix."
Amethyst Amethyst sighs and nods at Tepet, "You really should've paid better attention to your lessons in decorum. Gods even I had better teaching than this. Anyway, I'll let you off the hook for now. After all, most of the lunars I knnow have trouble with manners." She gently nudges Rishi.

She listens to Bright, nodding and eyes growing wider and wider, "It sounds like you might've unlocked the secrets to Sapphire Circle Sorcery!" She glances down, "Perhaps someday I will truly know the secrets," Annd then she perks up, "Till then, I guess I'll just keep brute forcing things with my mastery of alchemy and over the wyld."

"And you /saw/ what the working did to me." She gestures at her tattoos, "I think I understand everything a little bit better than I did before, like /how/ the world works has unfolded."

Rishi Rishi gasps "!!!!" Then gives bright a big hug. "That is most wondrous! I think that is being the spell of the Travel Without The Distance! Hee! Most Amazing!" Then she winces and turns to Ammy. "Sorry." She gives Ammy a consoling huggle.
Rishi considers taking offense at Ammy's entirely accurate slander of her kind, but visibly decides not to. She does give her another consoling huggle though. "I hope I can be helping you learn more of the things, Ammy and Bright." She hrms. "I think I can be teaching you to be summoning the Pavilion of the Ivory Orchid now, if you are wanting to be knowing it. It is certainly being much nicer to be sleeping in than the tent."
Silk Moon Lotus Silk smiles at Amethyst and Rishi. "You two are so cute. With the way you tease each other all the time. I'd tell you to get a room but this is Amethyst's place so I would need to leave and the wine isn't gone yet." Silk grabs the second wine bottle and start refreshing glasses. "We should toast to greater achievements and surviving our underwater adventure."
Bright Journey Bright listens on as Silk describes her work with that daiklave, her expression beaming. "Well, well! Not the weapon I'd have picked for a svelte girl like yourself, but it sounds like it's agreeing with you. I'm glad to hear you got something worthwhile out of all this, too!" I'm glad to hear it...I know the sorcery bit must have bored you to tears." She chuckles quietly. "You'll pick it up someday, Silk, I'm sure of it."

Bright nods and smiles at Amethyst's mention of the Sapphire Circle--clearly, she'd already come to the same conclusion--but before she can speak, Rishi hugs her tight. Bright is all but beaming with pride and nods. "Yeah...I think that's what it was, too. The illness afterwards was annoying, but a very distinctive side effect that would be hard to explain away otherwise. And whatever it's called...I -know- more about how space is put together, if that makes any sense. I see it clearly now.

"And believe me, Rishi, I'm very interested in whatever you have to teach! Ivory Orchid Pavilion sounds lovely. Not sure it will make up for my room, mind you, but it's a nice home away from home, I'll bet. I also read about this other spell I want to learn, though that might be something to practice -outside- the city." She snickers.

"Anyway, Amethyst, I'm glad you've gotten something out of this, too, as terrifying as that thing with Pearl must have been."

Tepet Makara Makara waits as he hopes the method on analyzing his memories of his past self may be resolved but then raises his eyes at the mention of Pearl. "Oh you know her too? I guess exalts in Great Forks mostly know each other. I usually go to her chateau everytime I go to this city" He would give a relieved sigh as at least they know some faces he finds familiar

"Anyway, what will be the method used for peeking into my dreams of a past life?" The Tepet would inquire as he has yet to know what are the means for interpreting his hazy memories. But he would wait patiently seeing as they are having a conversation.

Amethyst Amethyst squeezes. It does upset her that she can't ascend to the next tier of sorcery like her friends, but, she still can be proud of what she is. And then she flushes and her ears pull down against her head at Silk.

"H-hey now. We're not /that/ cute." One can her the embarrasment. But she also considers at Bright's mention of the sword.

"If you want I could help teach you. I know a lot about melee weapons of all varieties. One of the only ways I got to knew my father was him training me in their use. Of course I /prefer/ my whip but I'm competent with anything."

"As far as a toast? Ascending in sorcery and in essence sounds like a worth thing to me. And to winning a battle against a Rakshan conspiracy. /And/ as horrowing as it was I have reclaimed the missing piece of my soul. So, a toasst." She rises her glass.

"And then there's you." She turns to Makara. A sigil on her arm glows a particular color, "I will have you sit and touch your mind with my sorcery. It will feel a little disorienting as I find the memories you so speak of, and then I will see them play before my mind's eye."

Rishi Rishi looks around the room, beaming, visibly relaxed. She quietly says "...It is being most pleasant, this."
Rishi gives Ammy another squeeze and a quick kiss. "You are being most adorable." before she accepts a cup of wine to toast the proceedings, before turning to Bright with an amused smirk. "If you are not thinking the Ivory Orchid Pavillion is not being one of the best of the places to be sleeping, you have never had the seeing of it. I'll demonstrate it for you in the forest out side of the town when you are having the time."

Rishi nods as she raises her glass in celebration, then watches Ammy's sorcery with interest. "Which spell is this being? Can you be showing them to me also? I may be recognizing some things?"
Silk Moon Lotus Silk nods her head to Amethyst "It would be nice to have a training partner that isn't two feet taller than me. I would be happy to learn from you. I have a practice sword so I don't have to carry around a six foot sword that begs for questions."
Silk takes a nice long drink from her glass and gestures to Amtheyst and Makara. "Please begin when you are ready. I want to see some sorcery" Silk pulls out a couple of sheets of paper then pulls a quill from one of her sleeves after that a pot of ink from under her hair. She looks to be ready to take notes.
Tepet Makara Although he's still new to sorcery besides cursing those with Corrupted Words to keep their mouths shut, he would give nod even if it seems risky. "Understandable, these side effects are usually expected anyway but I am ready for it." He would calmly take a seat and closes his eyes once this ritual begins.

He would then attempt to dream again of that particular scene in his mind where he was followed by shadows in the woods, chased by something in the mountains, and finally that thing that resembles a malefic moon.

Bright Journey Bright listens as she walks around to accept a glass from Silk gratefully. She doesn't immediately mention the sorcery, but has a knowing smile as she sits down, legs crossed, and takes a long sip.

Far from staying out of the events entirely, though, she watches on as Amethyst begins her sorcery. She leans to one side as Silk begins to take notes.

"Not going to lie, Silk...while I might find raw power come to me more easily, you can see Amethyst has just been -doing- it far longer. I'm still always thinking, 'Okay, do I have everything right in my head?' and it's second nature to her."

Amethyst "I'll try not to destroy our training swords." Amethyst grins at Silk. "I'm sure you'll be able to learn these skills easily."

Then Amethyst puts down her glass and smiles widely at Makara. "Just relax. It's an old power passed down through my family. Apparently my mother has it and my grandmother also did. It's not a spell I can really teach, sorry Rishi."

And the alchemist grins at Bright, giving a tiny bow, "I do my best. I was preparing to rely on only my sorcery and honed skill to carry me through life, as I never thought I'd become one of the Dragon-Blooded. I was 19 when I exalted after all. And if there's one thing I have in spades, it's tenacity." She grins.

Then she finally goes to Tepet Makara, and places her hands on her his. "You'll feel a bit strange, but just relax."

Everyone can feel the wave of preasure radiate from the sorcerous dragon, her essence like the pressure from the deep sea. Though Creation does not bend to her will nearly as readily as the wyld seems to, none the less, her power over essence sees her magic through.

Ten thousand points of light form before her eyes, each a different color, each a different memory. Like a sphere of stars, she holds them in her hands, gently moving them around, focusing, searching.

Meanwhile Makara finds himself drawn deeper and deeper into the unconscious, seeing these points unfold as nebula in a weird waking dream. He can feel each action, he can feel her essence carefully pouring through his memories, looking for the ones he so detailed.

And at last, a single point is plucked from the star field, and the dragon clenches her hand, making this one point of light encompass the whole sphere as her eyes unfocus and she looks beyond her sight.

Tepet Makara Makara finds this ritual to be otherworldly and surreal for the energies of the Wyld is involved as if he is on an eldritch bordermarches from horror stories about the Fair Folk told when he was in the North. Even if this is a multicolored nightmare, he has to dig deeper to find the meaning of his memories and what it's attempting to tell him. He remains calm despite the absurdity of it all and quiet to prevent this ritual's disruption if he wants to find the truth in his mind.
Rishi While Ammy is weaving the magic, Rishi is watching closely, her features shifting to be slightly more feral and she seems to also be breathing deeply and sniffing, almost like she was trying to catch the scent of the magic in use here.
Silk Moon Lotus Silk whispers the Bright "I think Sorcery is about repatition. If you follow a pattern, a dance, or even a piece of music. It will guide you down the pathways." Silk keeps scribbling notes on her papers. She watches intently at what Amethyst is doing.
Bright Journey "It's certainly part of it," Bright replies as she sips her wine again. "I know it's different for different people, but personally I've seen patterns like that...in how people think, how they act, and how to act in counterpoint to guide them down the path you want. With dance, I'm sure it's about being a perfect counterpoint to your partner." She chuckles. "Even if your partnet is all of reality. But the point is not...I don't know, -mindless- repetition. It's following the pattern, yes, but also understanding why the pattern -is-."
Amethyst As Amethyst focuses, she draws forth two more of these stars, watching each intently, before finally letting the sphere return. Then, all at once, it vanishes as it arrived. There's a final wave of pressure as Amethyst calms and closes her eyes, thinking on what she's seen. In the same moment, Makara is returned to consciousness, having just seen those scenes again.

"So, I think I know what this is. You are dreaming of how you died in a past life. I'm not sure when exactly, but I do know where it is." Amethyst says without opening her eyes, "It's north of Great Forks, but there's an issue: It's a decently sized shadowland. I imagine that you were fleeing from dragon-blooded to your manse. The last image though, I." There's a pause.

"Right before your death, you see a vision of some horrible thing from the underworld, though I cannot say what exactly."

Amethyst then stays silent, contemplating, and still has her eyes shut as she considers.

Rishi Rishi quietly says "To me, Sorcery is the flow of the life. The Patterns it moves through, yes, but also where it is pooling, where it is ebbing." She's staring at Ammy. "It was the flowers that first were teaching me of these things. I am being ...most envious of her connection to the Woods and the plants. My skill...it is only being with the living flesh, the animals, the people. My blessings are ...failing before the power of the forest." She sounds wistful.
Rishi headtilts, thinking about what she knows of this shadowland and what horrible things from the Underworld might have happened there.
Tepet Makara He would gulp as he wonders how a shadowland is involved in the first place, which only gave more questions than answers about his past life. "a shadowland? What was i...no what was my past life doing in such a bleak patch of Creation? Now that you've mentioned it, I wonder why my past incarnation was so involved in the affairs of the Underworld?" Shivers would run through his spine as it seems that his past self has some particularly questionable activities.

"thanks for your help Amethyst and I'll mention to Pearl it was successful. Of course I'll indeed pay you" He says in an assuring manner to pay her back for her help. "I plan to go to this shadowland with some help. I don't know who my past self even is, but I will have to go there to tie loose ends"

Silk Moon Lotus Silk nods her head "That's going to be rough, Shadowlands can be dangerous places." She makes her notes and everything else disappear up her sleeves. "I'm not saying you cannot do it alone. I would caution that you take some help with you. It doesn't have to be us, make sure it's people you trust."
Bright Journey Bright slowly nods as Amethyst and Makara discuss their dreams. "I remember you describing that last dream to me, and my advice from then is much the same. Mind you, I don't actually know -where- any of that was, but if it's related to the shadowland there...be careful. You can't -be- too careful."

Bright looks at Silk, and her expression turns into a bright smile again. "Speaking of being too careful, I've actually been thinking about you and your little project...and dance. I think you might have more luck if you think -less- about it, to be honest. You're smart and resourceful, but I wonder if you just let yourself go and -dance-...feel the rhythm and the motion, maybe you'll be able to feel what's underneath it just as I did with taking with people. How dance affects both motion and emotion, how the movements affect the subtle underpinnings of Creation...and vice versa. I think maybe letting yourself go, but keeping that inner eye open, might work wonders."

Amethyst Amethyst offers a light shrug to Makara. "I haven't the slightest clue." She opens her eyes and contemplates. "I'd be willing to act as your guide and bodyguard. I have some pretty nice techniques for dealing with the dead." There's a grin on her face. And she addresses Rishi, "I think I'd like you to come with me just to be sure. Not that I don't think I can handle myself, but I'd rather it not just be me and Makara."

And at last, she directs her attention to Makara, "My name is Yim Ametis, by the way." Finally she gives her name, "Though typically I go by Amethyst."

She punctuates her name by suddenly shifting in form, her mutations unfolding all at once.

Great wings stretch out of her back, her skin grows coarse and scaled. Fins sprout all over her body as her hands grow webbed, and a tail grows behind her. Little violet crystals grow here and there illuminating her body while her pupils become slitted. Finally her skin becomes just a little translucent, making that much harder to see her.

She looks absolutely full of herself as she poses like the little dragon she is. Amethyst /is/ only 4'10, but she definitely looks a bit more imposing with all of her mutations. One could reasonably mistake her for an elemental or a fae of some variety.

Rishi Rishi nods. "Yes Silk, I am agreeing with Bright. The losing of yourself in the music and the dance may be just what you are needing."
Rishi shakes her head. "I am not having much of the knowing of the dead and the underworld, so I am not being sure how much of the help I can be providing. I will be coming along, of course, if you are going though." Rishi's smile widens as Ammy reveals her true form, her eyes shining. Her abrupt hugging of Ammy does kind of ruin the imposing effect though. "Oh you are looking so good! You are still liking the new form, yes? Anything feeling ...off at all? Any of the other changes you are needing?"
Tepet Makara Makara was baffled when Amethyst reveals her other form and name but surprisingly, the false dragon of Danaa'ad doesn't mind it especially since he is a shapeshifter himself. "I see you are marked by the Wyld but I am not the kind to discriminate such change. It seems your form even emulates the elemental dragons and my chimera form is an imitation of one at best. Besides posing as a Water Aspect, I revere Danaa'ad even if I'm not a true prince of the Earth in this way, for she dances to Luna in the form of the ocean's waves and her reflection in the waters at night" He mentions his personal belief and ideas regarding the relationship between the great dragon of water and his goddess Luna.

"I will inform you when I plan to traverse the shadowlands up North if you are interested"

Silk Moon Lotus Silk looks on very suprised with the transformation that Amethyst has gone through. "Rishi, stop crushing Ames. She's showing us her new and improved form. I want to see how she looks." Silk walks around Ames admiring all of the changes she has undergone. "That's really beautiful."
Bright Journey Bright's eyes widen as the actual extent of Amethyst's new mutations are revealed. She raises one pink eyebrow and, after a moment's thought, offers her wineglass in toast. "Well, well, my dear. I think rishi is luckier than ever," she murmurs, chuckling. "Not sure whether I mean in bed, or in more and better mutations, though. Heh, maybe both."

Bright takes another sip of wine. "That said, the changes are rather pretty! I do hope that, after all that happened, you're not unhappy with yourself."

Amethyst Amethyst stretches her wings and carefully but firmly pushes Rishi off of her. She gives a little smile, "It's from testing one of Rishi's workings, designed to give those who bath in the waters the form they always wanted. I guess my subconscious desire to be more like the dragons made me into this."

She giggles, "I'm not complaining. Feels more like I'm starting to get away from what everyone has wanted me to be and becoming more what /I/ want to be."

"I think it fitting that a dragon-blooded who wishes to shapeshift ends up more and more like the dragon who's blood they carry, hmm?" She just gives a wide grin.
