Bright Journey The Temple District is going -insane-.

That's if you came in from out of town for the Festival of Serenity, mind you. Banners, streamers and drapery of richest cerulean line every street and not a few houses. The place is downright crazy with people, throngs everywhere you look. They don't cover every part of the city all at once, though. The hordes of people celebrating Lady Serenity sort of flock from ward to ward of the city, indulging in just about every kind of vice and having an absolute grand ol' time. Music and dancing are just about everywhere. It's a good thing, too, because in their wake lie people strung out and unconscious from drugs and booze, and a lot of locals trying to remember how to -hear- again. The crowd is as loud as it is crazy!

Of course, for the locals this is also just another work day. Someone is making silver by the talent selling...well, -everything-, after all, and as much as the streets are a disaster zone after the heaviest crowds leave, there's still plenty of people around enjoying themselves.

At a nice, reasonably upscale tavern, Bright Journey is relaxing and lounging by the fire, a generous goblet of hot mulled wine (dyed blue!) in hand. She's wearing a quality, though not ostentatious party dress in the requisite shade, with armor and weapon nowhere to be seen. The glimmering golden collar is still around her throat, though.

She -did- invite people here, did she not? Where are they? Then again, navigating the throngs outside could be an act of sorcery. Good thing she knows a few...

Rishi Rishi is wearing her human disguise, her "leather cloak" covering a skimpy outfit in a nice shade of blue to fit the atmosphere, carrying a very large cup (or a small bucket?) that seems to be full of an alcoholic parfait of somekind, maybe? She's also covered in several layers of blue veils, presumably gathered on the way over from prospective paramours. "While it is being fun to be gathering like this, the crowd is not being something I am enjoying for the long periods. Thank you for holding this place of peace, Bright!"
Tiziri Tiziri, also known as Ardent Vagabond has not been in the city for long, but a festival? That's absolutely a reason to enjoy it! The young woman is wandering around and has hit a couple different establishments already, drinking, sampling foods, watching performances! The whole time her face is curled into a wide and happy grin. Definitely enjoying herself, even if she's still keeping her spear in hand or slung to her back at times (even if the blade is sheathed and peacebound).

So it is Tiziri ends up at the establishment Bright Journey is at, no doubt the tides of people have drawn her here by accident, but finding a nice calm in the currents is a good thing, and she ends up making her way to a seat and leans her spear against the wall beside her and leans back as she looks around and starts trying to get a server's attention. Once she does? "I'll have some hot wine, and a plate of dumplings please."

Silk Moon Lotus Silk Moon Lotus has been following the crowd for the last couple hours enjoting the music and the dancing and maybe some light pickpocketing. Not that she needs the money, its more about keeping her skills sharp. At least that's the excuse she is using today.
She has worked her way to the tavern that Bright told her about. It's a tavern that Silk doesn't frequent often as these are good people and do not require her unique services often.
She is wearing a sarong and some gauzy top that looks to be wrapped around her torso a couple of times all in the festive blue of the day. She stumbles into the tavern out of the crowd and wipes the sweat from her brow. She walks as though dancing to music that only she is hearing as the music around is a different tempo. She sits down at the table and asks "Am I late?"
Tepet Makara The Tepet "dragonblood" would be present in the party dressed in his gray kimono while holding a bottle of alcohol as he indulges in it. Even if he is a dynast expected to have noble manners, he eats barbeque and all sorts of meat stuff like a voracious predator. Although he would also eat some desert.

He misses parties like these in the Blessed Isle with his family in Lord's Crossing which gives him a hint of sorrow since he could never go back due to him being Anathema. "oh hello there! You seem new here" The false dragonblooded would notice Ardent as they were ordering dumplings and alcoholic beverages. Even if he has been in Great Forks for months now, he has familiarized with this divine yet luxurious city.

Amethyst Navigating the crowds in a normal day can be a challenge. But today it's extra bad! Fortunately, she happens to be a sorcerer. And with the violet veins in her eyes she goes dashing around the city, from crowd to crowd from shop to shop and finally arrives at the place that Bright invited her. She waves at what seems to be empty space and gently skips into the inn and finds herself innjoying some tea soon enough.

Oh, and for some reason she's in her mutant form, in public, looking like a miniture dragon but with faerie wings. She isn't attracting attention to herself or anything. One might wonder how high the alchemist must be.

Bright Journey Bright lifts her mug in convivial greeting as the various and sundry people make their way inside. She's had a drink or two herself, clearly, but she's not so bad off as to be unable to function. Just enough to take the edge off and have a good time.

"Well, well, look at who all the cat dragged in! I know there's no excuse to not make merry today, but I was getting a mite hungry waiting for you all." She laughs. "Or maybe I just got the time wrong!"

She gestures everyone over as they arrive, and she's staked out a pretty good sized table for the purpose. "Rishi, glad you could make it. Though if you're going to wear -that- out of doors, you'd better be ready to gift Amethyst those veils. She's liable to be jealous." Bright beams in amusement.

"Silk! If there's a time to be dancing the dance, or even the Dance, now is surely it. Any luck so far?

"Makara, my dear, sit down. You look like you're about to fall over. You're not allowed to be dour today.

"And...uh...Amethyst! We were...er, just talking about you..." Bright sighs theatrically. "Rishi, my dear, your lover needs more than just a few veils."

Tiziri Tiziri seems surprised, if undaunted, when her order arrives and the pile of dumplings is obviously bigger than expected form the wide eyed look she gets. All the same the blue haired woman with the feathers in her hair quickly picks up her chopsticks and lifts one to her mouth, gasping as the overly hot juices burst in her mouth and waving her other hand in front as she fights the heat. She catches herself reaching for her drink too, but pauses, the steam coming off of it likely hinting why it wouldn't give much relief! That done, she seems to notice something too, looking over towards the table as a name is said, somethign that catch her attention indeed. Even if she quickly takes a drink at that point!
Rishi Rishi smiles at Bright. "You are thinking so? My designer was being quite the proud of this outfit." Her smile turns impish. "And I was planning to be taking these with me when I went to be seeing Ammy next. As well as Frosty."
Rishi waves to the others as they arrive, getting up and pulling Ammy into a hug and looping a blue veil around her as she does. "So, just how much of the spider venom have you been having today my love?"
Silk Moon Lotus Silk smiles at her friend and house mate. "I feel like it's right there. I can hear it every so often, I'm really trying to listen to it today but it keeps getting away. Maybe the other music is distracting me from it." She shakes her head and smiles broadly. She then looks over at the server and tosses a fairly weighty silk pouch to them. "Food and drinks on me until that runs out or we leave."
Silk spots the blue-haired woman sitting at a table by herself. She gestures verbosely "Come join us if you would miss, today is a celebration of life, you should not do so alone."
Amethyst Amethyst grins and /flies/ over to Rishi, practically tackling her and hugging. "What do you mean, there's no snake venom in me today!" Her eyes even have a tiny purple tinge, she's definitely high out of her mind. "Just some dragon's vision with extra dragon's blood." She nods and giggles.

Glancing over towards Bright, she narrows her eyes, "Whjat do you mean I'd need more than a few veils? Why would I need /any/ veils?" At least Amethyst is dressed in her normal attire and not missing clothes.

But then she gets up and zeroes in on Ardent, and zooooms over to her. "Tiziri! I did not know that you had the same touch of the wyld that my family has. You wouldn't happen to be a fae-blood yourself are you?" She's just so excited. "You must be one of the long lost Dream-Souled of Elderloch!" She's approximately an inch from Tiziri's face with excitement.

Tepet Makara "Don't worry, I'm not drunk....yet" He would say to Bright once he observes the stranger. Thankfully Makara could endure the influence of alcohol but not for long though. Still he is curious about this new arrival and didn't notice anything strange about them yet.

"wait...Elderloch? Dream Souled? What's that?" Makara is confused on what Amethyst meant by that once she approaches Tiziri but he doesn't mind it as it's probably Wyld stuff he doesn't know about. The surrealness of that realm is a headache anyway.

Tiziri Tiziri points at herself as she is suddenly invited over, but as soon as she does realize she is being invited, well? She accepts, grinning and first setting her tray of dumplings on top of her wine and then all too gracefully grabs it to balance with one hand so she can pick up her spear with the other and make her way over, easily avoiding the crowds with the sort of practiced grace of one who's served, or is just good at such. Though the sudden Amethyst in her face? That does faze her!

"Whaaaat? Um, I don't think so. Not that. I mean, I've heard of the place but only in travellers' tales." The young woman with the feathers in her hair seems to have wider than usual eyes right now. "Wait, you seem familiar..." The mutant form not the one she knew! But she's quick, and the voice registers. "Amethyst?" She squints, looking over the other closely.

Bright Journey Bright Journey laughs quietly and takes a sip of her wine. She looks at Makara and Silk, the only others sitting at her table currently, and leans in a bit.

"Don't look now, you two, but poor Amethyst has it completely wrong. If the young woman there is related to anyone here...it's more Rishi and you, Makara." She smiles. "Not that we'll be convincing Amethyst of that anytime soon. And Makara, Elderloch is...a long, -long- story, and not one for a crowd. Amethyst is -from- there, though, so she might...well, you get the idea."

She pauses and looks at Silk meaningfully. "Remember what I said, dear? Get a glass of wine in you, put that lovely outfit and that lithe body of yours to good use and -dance-! You're not shy in other things, dive in and indulge today of all days. There's a..." She smiles softly and taps the side of her head. "There's an energy in the air, excitement and contentment in equal measure. Don't just sit back and watch, dance! Tap into it, feel it course through you. Go with the flow, my dear. It suits you far better than it ever did me!"

Amethyst Amethyst squints at Ardent. "But I swear I see some sorta... mecurial essence coming from you like the dream-souled or the fae. Are you sure?"

"Elderloch is a city 'neath the dreamin' sea that has a lot of folks around it. It's a fae city that has its share of mutants and fae-blooded and the almost unknown Dream-Souled, fae who have acheieved a symbiosis with Creation! I was gonna be one of them but then I became a Dragon instead." She explains still waaaay too close to Ardant.

And finally she steps back and tilts her entire body towards Bright, "What do the Tepet, my love, and this girl have in common?" She looks very confused. But at the mention of dancing,

Well, she sorta flails rhythmically, that could almost be called dancing. At least she's having a good time! Still completely oblivious that maybe her mutant form isn't a great one to show off.

She's still just under 5' tall, but now she has thick leathery scales that seem to make her translucent, slitted pupils, a powerful tail and four dragonfly wings. Oh and she still has the glowing prismatic tattoos that are signature to her along with her pointed ears.

Rishi Rishi laughs at Ammy's antics, tilts her head to the side, long dark hair flowing behind her as she considers the room, then she heads over to where Ammy is. She reaches out and steadies the other woman for a moment. "My love, you are being the most high of all of us. But I am thinking that you might be enjoying this much more if you were the sober. At least for the now." And she pulls Ammy into a hug and a big kiss, though Ammy can feel something syrupy sliding down her throat and then a wash of sobriety comes over her a short time later, though Rishi is still kissing her.
Tiziri "Very sure. No fae blood at all, very human family. Not so much as a rogue dynast or godblood in our ancestry as far back as I'm aware." There is definitely a strange glint to Ardent Vagabond's eyes as she looks over Amethyst again, especially those tattoos, not that they're easy with the girl flailing about to the music. Though then she takes the chance to quickly lean her spear against the table and then set down her bowl and tray. "Seems I might need to catch up." She says, though before sitting down her fist is placed in her palm along with a slight blow of greetings. "Thank you for the invitation. I'm Tiziri, often known as Ardent Vagabond." She introduces herself before sitting down, still having a relaxed confidence about herself. Only then taking her bowl and taking a deep draught from it.
Tepet Makara "Related to us? I see..." It seems that the new visitor is a Lunar herself but it is best if they introduce on what he is in a more private manner, as he learned his lesson from others and doesn't want to be scolded by the monk Enriching Rainfall again for his bluntness. Once he hears on what Amethyst says about Elderloch, he finds it fascinating even if he finds lore on the fair folk to be confusing thanks to their eldritch nature.

"Name is Tepet Makara, Prince Of The Earth" He introduces himself to Ardent but has yet to reveal he is a dragon certainly not of the Five Elemental Dragons in Immaculate teachings...but of the Moon.

Amethyst Amethyst is startled clearly! But then her eyes clear and she blinks a few times before breaking off the kiss from Rishi. She looks around herself. "Um." And she looks over herself and she turns this cherry red color, her scales shifting to make her look even /more/ transparent. "I don't suppose we're in some private club of Silk's..." She gently wraps her tail around herself and almost seems to try to get smaller.

"Oh gods am I really out in public like this?" She asks in a quiet tone.

Silk Moon Lotus Silk nods her head and drinks her wine in a few quick swallows. "Very well, I shall feel the music today Bright and stop listening to myself." She stands up and heads to the dance floor. She starts to dance as though born to it. Her movements almost hypnotizing at moments. She moves with the grace of only an exalt or a god possess.
Rishi "I am thinking you are looking lovely!" Rishi says as she hugs Ammy again. "Why don't we be getting some of the wine for you?" She gestures over at Silk "Besides all of the eyes are going to be sitting upon her now. Come be introducing me to your new friend! I have not had the meeting of her!" and she steers ammy back to the table, motioning to the wait staff for a large bottle of wine.
Bright Journey Bright Journey is watching all this byplay with a fond, warm smile. She tosses back the last of her mulled wine and sets the cup down, but before she lets the handle go, she looks at Ardent take a seat and offers her a hand. "Well! Now that you have seen poor Amethyst at her worst, perhaps you'll see her at her best, assuming Rishi doesn't just -pounce- on her again. Well met to you, my dear. I'm called Bright Journey, this is Tepet Makara--" She nods her head in Makara's direction. "--and out on the dance floor, making me look like I have three left feet, is Silk Moon Lotus. I dare say you have met Amethyst and Rishi, in their own inimitable way." She holds a hand over her mouth and giggles.

As Amethyst and Rishi make their way back over to the table, Bright gives Rishi a wicked little grin. "Oh! I forgot to tell you, my dear, I may have figured out a little something new. It wouldn't do to show you here, but suffice to say I read about it one day and our time in Elderloch inspired me to work out the details. And I do believe I have something to learn from you, too, if you want to exchange!

"Speaking of which," Bright adds, "the two of you in particular might want to keep an eye on Silk. She has been working very hard to break through, and unless I miss my guess, it could be very soon now."

Amethyst Amethyst relents and sits down at the table, making sure that her tail and her wings don't get pinched or anything. "By the dragons I need to go easier on whatever the hell I just had. That stuff was intense. Maybe I should stick to my normal vials..." She muses.

And she's definitely interesting in what Bright has to say. "Fascinating, we'll definitely need to meet in private and discuss the finer details. I guess for now I get to party with everything showing..." She gently rubs at one of her ears, her tail swishing slowly.

"As you can see, Ardent, I'm a bit more a dragon than you expected." She chuckles at her own silly joke before sighing. "I really oughta not be out like this for too long..."

Tiziri "An honor." Tiziri says to Makara first, smiling, and at least managing to look a little impressed and awed as one might expect of someone meeting a member of such an illustrious house... and Prince of the Earth as well. Then she smiles to Bright Journey as well before looking out to the others on the floor. "She is definitely good at that." She agrees, picking up a dumpling with her chopsticks, this time it's not too hot! After swallowing she goes on, "And yeah, Amethyst ran into me at a food stall when I first arrived, then showed me around the city a bit. It's my first time here, so it's certainly turning into an experience." Southwestern accent standing out, but not terribly heavy. Probably hard to play an exact region. Looking back to Amethyst then, she nods. "Sorry I didn't recognize you until you spoke, I think I can be forgiven." she quips.
Silk Moon Lotus The patrons of the tavern have noticed Silk and appear to be watching her dance. She moves with the languid grace associated with the dragon-blooded. Her movements telling the story of how the wind came to be. A breeze seems to be moving around her as she dances.
Everyone else that was on the dance floor has cleared it for Silk to continue alone with the wind. She dances as though she and the music are one. Her feet moving impossiblely fast as the tempo of the music shifts up.
The winds have picked up some as papers start to flutter around the tavern. Silk's movements seem to be carrying the wind with her. An almost sorcerous energy appears to be moving with her.
Rishi Rishi pours Ammy a big glass of wine and turns to say high to Ardent. "Hello! It is most lovely to be meeting you!" Rishi's strong south eastern accent marks her as being from somewhere in the Dreaming Sea region. She headtilts, regarding the other person, then nods. "I am being a skilled healer, if you should be needing one, Ammy can be contacting me." She takes a bite from her ...dish, and chews thoughtfully. "I am also being associated with the Temple of the Lady of the Changing Waters. You should be joining with us for the services." She gives the other woman a significant look. "The skylight is letting the light of the Moon in to be reflecting on the sacred pool most nicely."
Amethyst Amethyst nods towards Tiziri. "Yeah, it's understandable. I do look a little different now then I did back then." She gives a shy little grin.

But then the Dragon looks wide-eyed as she looks at Silk. She rubs her eyes and it's not her eyes that see the essence but she can /feel/ it. "Am I," And she looks at Bright, "When did Silk become a sorceress?!" Her ears are middled out and she looks awed.

Bright Journey Bright lets go of her empty mug and looks up as a breeze shifts her long, pink hair. Her multicolored eyes narrow briefly, then widen as it hits her. Her smile broadens as she leans forward, elbows on the table, watching Silk dance...and the Essence of Creation dance around her, subtle but noticeable. She whispers intensely.

"Well! I told you how hard she was working...and unless my senses have completely left me, I think her hard work is paying off! Ladies, we have one more for the coven." She chuckles. "Or whatever. I'm humbled, though. It's rare that I get to pay help forward."

Tiziri "I can hope I don't need a healer." Tiziri says, but looks over towards her spear, "But sometimes such is unavoidable in the martial world. So I'll keep it in mind." All the same, she's very much looking at the dance, almost wondrously so at that, and definitely without the sort of fear of sorcery so many might have, there's not even a flinch at the mention of the word from Amethyst either. After a moment or two she tears her gaze away, seeming to realize she's staring and looks back to Rishi with a nod. "I'll have to remember that. And I have to admit I wasn't expecting to hear a familiar accent here either, this place is as cosmopolitan as I've heard." Ardent Vagabond says, looking around still a touch more. She truly has a bit too innocent a mien, and really isn't hiding her curiosity well at all.
Silk Moon Lotus She continues to feel every movement of the dance. Clearly finally having found the music within her soul. She is now almost flying around the dance floor. With a final crescendo Silk makes a leap that seems impossible while still landing it perfectly. The winds have become a small whirlwind around her. Silk's face has a look of awe about it. She moves her arms in a graceful counter motion to the whirlwind. After a few moments the winds die down and with them the power of the sorcerous energy
Silk stumbles over to her chair and collapses into it covered in sweat. She smiles weakly at Bright "I found it." She then rest her head in her arms on the table.
Rishi Rishi reaches over and pulls Silk into a hug. "I am being so much the impressed! You are being most amazing!" And she pours Silk a large mug of wine!
