Fudou the Mountain To say that the great arena of Great Forks is a flurry of activity at all times would be a bit of an understatement. It truly matches the excess and the absurd that is offered by this city with all manner of entertainment from staged conflicts utilizing the bizarre talents of various gladiators against all manner of creatures and one another..and mythic spectacular shows of capabilities by god bloo9ded seeking the favor of their parents and much more. The sound of clashing weapons, crowds cheering, roaring, screaming, the grunts of training and moans and despair of the defeated all mix together to produce quite the colorful mixture of sensory overload.

Fudou the Mountain, himself a spectacle even among the denizens of Great Forks, seems content to take all of this in as he lounges, quite languidly and lazily like some sort of monstrous sunning feline, across an aisle of benches in one of the viewing stands. His area is sparsely occupied allowing for the behemoth of a muscled bruiser to stretch out with an expression on his face that seems unfulfilled and bored as he watches a match between two warriors over on the training mats.

Tiziri Ardent Vagabond has apparently wandered her way to the arena, drifting in with the crowds who are watching, or just hanging out. It is a pretty impressive edifice to be in after all! And the concessions in the stands are famous on their own, for better or worse. So plenty of reason to be here even before the main event has been considered! No spear today, presumably. Hard to carry one of those in the stands. She seems to be sitting in a place rather close to Fudou too, and it's hard to say if it is on purpose or accident, but she's visible. Her long hair with the feathers in it obvious.
Fudou the Mountain "Well now, what have we here."

Fudou's deep voice rumbles from his position, quaking through the immediate area to vibrate the very seat upon which Ardent sits. If he hadn't noticed her before he's taken sudden interest in her now and his lazy perch adjusts, bringing his great mass around with a rumble of flesh and stone as he leans forward to peer down a few aisles towards where Ardent sits.

"Look who we have 'ere. Come to enjoy the spectacle luv? Where is that spear of yours at?"

A second later and the stands rumble and quake under his steps as he brings one leg over and down and then the other to step closer to Ardent, looming his vast shadow behind her as he arrives and crouches down.

Tiziri Tiziri is definitely not as unperceptive as guessed. She looks over as the giant man approaches, her smile seems enigmatic and a bit lazy. "Oh, didn't know if they'd let me bring it in here. Between being a weapon and large enough to get in the way and block people's views. So I have it somewhere safe." She explains. "And as for why here? I figured it was time I saw one of the more famous sights that isn't a temple." She pauses a beat, then says "Well, one can argue it's a temple of a sort. As we watch champions seeking the Exigence, and others proving themselves."
Fudou the Mountain "Seeking Exigence.. Yes..that is a rather lofty goal. I don't think I've witnessed it yet but I have heard stories."

Fudou's finger scratches the underside of his hairy jaw as he speaks, producing a sound like dried brush scraping across granite. "..Have you ever met such an indidivual before? Not here, I assume, but out in the world in your journies?"

The mention of the temples does seem to ring some bit of memory to him and he purses his lips in thought before adding, "Also...made your way to meet Rishi, have we?"

Tiziri "If I have. I was not aware. Or they posed as a Child of the Dragons" Tiziri says. "And that's probably for the best. It is better if people hide such things, as otherwise they tend to attract attention." She gestures. "After all, look how many come here for it. The promise alone attracts those seeking such."

Then the girl is quiet for a moment or two before nodding. "Yes. We had a most illuminating visit under the light of the moon." She says. "I am glad I went, we found a lot in common, I'm sure we'll remain in contact, I think she had some plans she wished some help with."

Fudou the Mountain "Are you attempting to tell me something, luv?" asks Fudou, tone nonchalant as he listens but expression bemused. "I don't suppose my name came up at all during your conversation and discussing things in common..?" he arcs an eyebrow as he speaks, not looking at Ardent as he does but gesturing absently as he continues to survey the Arena.

He then adds, "Also you speak some wisdom about attracting attention but there is something to be said about being able to be ..yourself..here in a place like this. It's a tad different then elsewhere in Creation where caution must be used..or overt force. Perhaps abit hard to get used to, mmm?"

Tiziri "Oh, I've been places I can be myself." Ardent Vagabond says with a little shrug. "If filled with different expectations and rules." It is here she gets a bit more of a sober expression, a bit pensive yet of course, but not quite so enigmatic. "Though yes, your name came up as someone I should remain in contact with as well." She ends up saying.
Fudou the Mountain "I figured that it might!" remarks Fudou, leaning forward again and folding his huge hands together. His grin is big, full toothed. Even bright in its own way. His eyes are hidden behind his glasses, however, reflecting the liught of the sun off of them as he peers down at Ardent.

"It was not likely that Rishi would not mention me. So come on then. Why so pensive! You are in good company and safe here in this place. Great Forks ir ather unlike any other place in Creation, isn't it? What else did Rishi say..?"

Tiziri "The Local Rulers still have a bit of a thought on things, but it is never wise to attract the attention of other groups they help keep in check. I might leave here eventually, and they'll follow if they know more about me." Tiziri answers to that more softly. "It can make a rather unpleasant change to plans if such things happen." She explains. Then she gets a bit more cheerful looking once more. "As for what? We mainly spoke to the little dragon girl, so while some things were veiled, it got a lot more focused on matters of the Occult. One of my shared interests with them both."
Fudou the Mountain The immense man makes a few absent gestures as if trying to formulate his thoughts on this matter. "Yes.." admits Fudou, "One shouldn't rock the boat too much, true enough.. And it's good to value ones freedom of movement.... I suppose there's wisdom in that. It can be easy to be caught up on the spectacle of things here and forget the need for proper care elsewhere.."

That seems to be all he cares to dwell on there though he does add, "I do think, given some others who are around, it will become increasingly difficult to avoid...certain eyes and groups. One might say that a clash is inevitable.."

At mention of the little dragon he arcs an eyebrow and rests his gigantic elbows onto his knees, "The little dragon.. You mean Amethyst? Tth. Of course she was there right. Those two are rarely parted.."

Tiziri There's a bit of a raised brow at the last thing said, "Oh? Interesting. I suppose I didn't know them well enough to realize that yet. Though I am pleased she isn't what one would usually expect from those like her." Ardent Vagabond says with a bit of a stretch, hands over her head. "But now I'm curious about a coming conflict. If there's something like that in the works, it is definitely the type of thing I need to prepare for." She continues looking thoughtful, though more directly so now.
Fudou the Mountain "A bit of gossip for your ears then, though I don't think either would mind me making mention of that but yes." remarks Fudou with that grin on his face once again. "Amethyst is..rather unique in her ambitions and abilities but I suppose you'd know that if you have that interest in the occult that they do. Sorcery is something I've not wanted or needed to put my mind to but I have seen some rather impressive things done..'

To the rest, he waves his hand once more, almost trying to dismiss the very notion as he says, "Do not read to much into my words. I meant in the sense that..well..Great Forks is not light on..." he considers his next words more carefully..a bit of caution bleeding into his face for the first time now.

He then out right says it, "..Anathema.. And active ones at that. It's only a matter of time before someone or someones gets excitable regarding that sort of thing."

Tiziri Tiziri gets a knowing look on her face and nods to it. "OK, yes. That makes sense then. And goes right back to what I meant, though we may see how things go in time." She looks down towards the arena for a moment, considering. Then suddenly laughs. "Impressive things. Yes. There's a way to put it about Sorcery. Impressive. Mind boggling. I've seen some things already that I can barely believe. I know I'm young, but I've seen the workings of someone who may well be the greatest living master of it. Or at least was until recently. I've no knowledge of some of those anathema who can surpass her yet. But from what I've seen already, they're potentially out there, and what they might do could make even things I've seen seem as different as the full moon to the blazing sun at noon."
Fudou the Mountain "Mm...The Queen of Fangs."

That he knows of that sobriquet may reveal more about the bruiser then simple observation may. He looks like a brute but is perhaps more aware of such matters then he implies at first glance. Certainly not dressed like a would be sorcerer or lore master but a hint of surety and confidence in knowledge and his understanding of these things seems clear.

"No none live that have such power, at least that I am aware of. However you speak true in that there are some that pursue these heights. Perhaps knowledge can be shared if goals are aligned. Hard to say. Dangerous and uncertain times.." Fudou grins again, rubbing his jaw and then lets his gaze dfit back to the arena at a particularly hard blow during one of the training matches, "Oooh..that looks like that stung.."

Tiziri "It did. Yeah." Tiziri agrees. "Not moving enough." She adds. the simple fact she didn't even react to that title being said all but confirms the Queen of Fangs knowledge she has. "It is strange. Part of me is sad it could be true, because it means I won't be able to reach the greatest heights of anyone." She grins widely. "The other part is excited to see what might happen. So yes, it'll be curious indeed. Interesting, and dangerous." She looks up towards the sky. "And it feels like here might be the place to discover that. Oh, I could seek out rumors of others, but here there's some known quantities."
Fudou the Mountain "Don't count that goal out just yet." suggests Fudou, clasping his hands together and hooding his eyes, "There are many possible paths and ways things could go. If nothing else, the journey should be interesting. I think you are wise to consider observing matters here. That is what I did. I found them all...interesting."

He inclines his head, considering matters before adding, "I think that Great Forks stands poised to be at the heaert of major change. Seek adventure and to influence said change while you can. When the time comes to leave..well..few have the ability to disappear unnoticed for a time as the wandering bird or the journeying fish, after all."

Tiziri "Indeed." Ardent Vagabond responds with a knowing grin. "And truly, this place is interesting to me as well. It's why I'm still here after all." She laughs. "I mean, I'm hardly lying when I say I'm not bored here, not even close. It's a fascinating place, far different from anywhere else I've been, and I rather love it." A deep breath, "Though speaking of adventures, I managed to get reservations at a particularly exclusive teahouse that supposedly makes a wonderful blend. I should probably get going so I make it on time. It was nice to speak to you again, I'm sure it won't be the last time."
