Amethyst Amethyst is... tinkering again. Various violet vials vibrate as the alchemist adds viscous vile additives to a slowly filling flask. The shop is slow and it's getting to be evening, and gods whatever she's making looks like it might even be able to put /her/ under.

And the shop is a little bit messy, with some products strewn here and there and everywhere. One wonders how long the shelves has been lacking proper organization. But whatever the case it seems she'd rather toil away for the sake of some insane brew than to take five seconds to clean up her shop. Or maybe it's just that she's been busy and has forgotten. Who's to say?

Rishi The bell over the door jangles as Rishi walks in though, unlike normal, she's entirely undisguised. Once inside, she stretches her wings, allowing them to sit folded behind her instead of mimicing a cloak, her tail sits up between them, the fur staying off the ground. She also looks ...radiant. Her smile seems even bigger than usual and she's brimming with such good cheer that it seems to have impacted her hair which looks even more perfectly liquid than usual.
"Hiii! Ammy, it all worked perfectly!" And the dragon gets carefully pulled away from her brewing and pulled into a hug as Rishi twirls around a couple of times
Amethyst It definitely surprises Amethyst to see Rishi in her natural form while out and about. To the point that little scales start to ripple across her own body in preperation for the worst but, once she realizes that Rishi isn't in any danger or the like, she calms, but her scales don't go away. "Hey Rish!" She calls in flametongue rather than the normal riverspeak. "So you're an exigent now I take it?" She grins and embraces her love, and can't help but let her own wings free as she hugs, hugging her with arms and wings.
Rishi "Yup!" Her smile gets even wider, to the point that a non-Lunar mouth would have trouble, before she kisses Ammy and puts her down. "I don't want to fully flare in here, but I do want to show you." She concentrates for a moment and then starts to glow. Where before it was silvers and dark blues like the moon hiding behind clouds, now her glow is all rippling blues and greens shot through with opalescent rainbows, like a prism at the bottom of a lake. "I am now officially the Chosen of the Lady of the Changing Waters." She poses, trying to look dignified for a moment, before giggling.
Now that the moment has passed, Rishi looks around. "Is everything alright? It looks like you haven't tidied in here in a while." She headtilts looking at Ammy. "My love, if you are on a quite irresponsible amount of drugs, or otherwise having problems, you need to tell me."
Amethyst The irresponsible drugs in progress behind her give a little puff of the same violet-black that's so common to her drug of choice.

"Wow, you, you changed your anima?!" Her eyes grow wider. "I, I had no idea. How did you do that?" Her eyes sparkle in awe and wonder.

"And I... I'm doing fine." She says, breaking away from Rishi and not making eye contact and with her ears down. She holds her arm. "I just, I know I need to maintain this shop but I want to do so much more than just run an alchemy shop for the rest of my life. And I don't know who or what I could trust to run it in my stead." And she holds up a finger, "No demons."

"I want to do so much Rishi. And now that you've given me some considerable chunk of your lifespan I have to wonder if maybe I really should try to perserve my own life rather than risking it in adventure." Amethyst explains, "And all of that makes it hard to just... run the shop."

Rishi Rishi grins. "It is being somewhat tricky, but the sneaky trick I use to hide my Tell is much, much more adaptable than I thought. I bet you could learn to do it too, if you ever wanted to try. I'll explain the technique as best I can ...later." She headtilts to the other side, listening to her love. She starts to chime in at one point, but closes her mouth when Ammy says "No Demons."
She shakes her head. "My Love, Ammy... You created an amazingly powerful Sorcerous Working. With help, yes, but you did something that hasn't been seen in this world for a thousand years. You are great and amazing. And now you have time enough to do everything you ever wanted to do. Of course doing the same things every day is starting to become boring. Which means we just need to find someone to help run it or run it for you." She hrms. "Or you could just close it. We'll need to maintain the property, but I think I'll be able to afford that soon."
Amethyst "I don't have much income without it." Amethyst says, "Though to be fair most of it's coming from a handful of wealthier clients who want specialty things made. I don't make drugs just for my own sake after all." Amethyst says. "And if I manage to keep my wealth coming in through the next census I'll become among the noble ranks here in Great Forks, which'll be nice for getting foots in doors."

"But, you do have a point about me doing amazing things." Amethyst notes, "Maybe, maybe what I oughta do is... stop trying to do crazy things and just go do something I wanna do?"

"And um, Rishi, I don't mean to be the bearer of bad news but, I'm not a Lunar, I don't think I can learn to do things like you do." She gently noseboops her love. But there's a somewhat salty undertone to her last sentence.

Rishi "You don't need to prove to me or anyone else that you're amazing." she boops Ammy back. "I know who and what you are. And my essence manipulation techniques aren't yours, but I think it should give you enough to get started on figuring out how to do it for yourself, if you want to try it. It's not like it's actually something only one of us can do like changing shapes or talking to plants." She sounds wistful suddenly about that talking to plants bit.
"Anyway, what would you like to do, my love? You've proven yourself many times over. I am now a person in good standing among the locals. We have as much time as we want. What do *you* want?"
Amethyst Amethyst considers, and nods. "If I'd want you to teach me anything, it's how to become like various elementals. I figure that since my nature resonates the most with the elements /and/ I have some limited sort of shapeshifting, I oughta be able to assume forms like those born of the elements, yeah? Maybe with changes to my anima to reflect that" She muses.

And then she considers Rishi's question. She holds up a scaled finger and goes and just adds /all/ of the vials to the flask. Grabs the flask, quickly goes and closes the shop and locks up, and gestures for Rishi to follow."

Back in her lab, there's some papers about, various vessels of differing types and standards. Also some documents that bear Great Forks' official seal. "I want three things: A ship, for my wealth and status to be recognized and to be formally accepted as a citizen of this town, and for someone else to run my alchemy shop in my stead." Curiously, there's no documents investigating particular people.

"I know that the sailing will come naturally and I'm sure I can make my way through the red tape of the city, but what I need the most? A loyal follower who will be okay with Celestial Exalted showing up and asking for help. Not thinkin' of Makara or anything'." She rolls her eyes.

"But I don't have the resources or the clout to find someone myself. It's just not my specialty."

Rishi Rishi considers. "...I don't actually know the spell for summoning elementals. Perhaps I should learn. But...I think that is actually something you should be talking to Pearly about. She can actually turn herself into water. I cannot." Rishi sounds a little disheartened at that. "No matter how impressive you think my skills are, there are many things you can do that I cannot. And, though I may look like a Chosen of a Water goddess..." she sighs "it's still just another disguise, even if it's one that feels close enough to let me be me."
Rishi nods. "Then we should be going to find Bright and Silk. Bright can probably tell us who to look for and make sure we don't get any thieves or liars and Silk can find them for us."
Amethyst Amethyst nods, "I'll have to talk to them, maybe visit them. When's the last time we actually sat down in their place?" Amethyst wonders aloud.

"And don't get me wrong Rishi," She goes and gently takes her hands, "I /know/ that I will be able to do incredible things. We're both strong and strange in our own little ways, it's what makes us strong. Also Rishi,"

"I want to train, and expand my training to make better use of my talents. I've just been coasting off of my natural talents having been greatly amplified by my new dragon essence, but, I think I can do better. I can be tougher, faster, stronger, more resistant to the elements and more in tune with the world. I think you and Frosty might just be able to give me a proper workout to push me further." She explains. "I never got proper training from one of the great institutions of the Realm so I'm going to need someone to force me to improvise and figure out new powers and abilities, and someone who can put me back together if I get hurt."

"What do you think?"

Rishi Rishi blushes when Ammy talks about Frosty and Rishi giving her a "proper workout," but then she headtilts again. "I might be able to help you rebuild your body more quickly, but we would need to be careful." She gives Ammy a quick kiss. "I like your body and don't want to break it." she smiles. "We should try and get Pearly to help too. She'll likely have a better idea what you can and can't do and she has that training you never got as well."
"But, yes. For quick thinking and learning to survive in the wilds, there are few better teachers than one who is Chosen like me. I know much about all the edible plants and animals, how to make shelters, and how to hunt. And, after I've taught you everything you don't currently know," Rishi's smile becomes worryingly predatory "nothing concentrates the mind like being hunted." Then she noseboops Ammy, her smile back to normal. "So you'll need to think up a good forfit to pay if you don't escape from me."
Amethyst The blush gleefully sails over the ambitious dragon's head. "Less.. rebuild my body, more teach me how to use my essence to focus my form." Amethyst explains. "It's one thing that I have mortal training to, say, perceive the world around me without needing my eyes. But it's another to train my essence to boost that perception so I truly can."

"We could talk to Pearly, she probably does know some things I could do, but I think most of her skill and training was around her martial arts and her social skills. And, I know much better how to prim and proper thanks to her." Amethyst grins.

"Maybe," Amethyst considers, "If you manage to best me, you get to have my form. Like how Frosty got it by sleeping with me that one time..." Amethyst rubs her chin, "Still dunno how that happened."

Rishi Rishi blushes once more. "I'll need to speak to her about that trick, I think. It could be nice to have. And I've learned a lot from Pearly too." she blushes a third time.
"A-anyway, if we go over essence movement techniques that might help you too. Practicing moving it around your body and in and out of the land can't hurt. While I'm not clear on how you speak to the elements, doing that as much as you can while under threat...I feel like that too would help."
Amethyst Amethyst giggles and gently pats the flush Rishi. "You and Frosty and Pearly have had a lot of fun together, have you~?" Now she, (un)fortunately has noticed the blushies. She blushes just a little herself.

"As for elements, when I reach out it's like the elements come to life around me." She takes out her ritual dagger to demonstrate, and one can see the flame lick off of it as she slices through the air, "My essence flows into whatever I focus on and transforms, bringing the object closer to me and manifesting my will through it." After the flame, it grows wooden spikes for but a moment, then seems to cut with water as her anima comes to life, pushing like a little riptide. "Fire, wood, water." She sheaths her dagger and instead, Rishi can feel the signature power of her sorcery, that deep fathomly pressure. But around Amethyst, her anima seems to lift from her and circle around her, protecting her as she gathers her sorcerous power, "Air." Boom, the protective whirlwind fades and explodes into a full blown stormwind, which quickly fades.

"Finally," She goes over and grabs a stone dish of some variety, and starts shaping it like clay, "Earth. It's intuitive yet tricky. It's obvious which elements align with what kinds of actions, but there's always variations. It's easier to cut with fire but channeling water can bring a tsunami. Meanwhile with sorcery it'll shift to wind if I don't want it to be something else. Or with making things with my hands."

She shapes the plate into a crude heart and gives it to Rishi. "I think I just need the right stimulus to push my powers further."

Rishi Rishi nods. "It's much as it is for me. Pushing essence through the parts of my body to create changes, having the heart's blood of the animals I consume to draw on for new patterns... It seems so very similar on the surface, yet so different in practice...I'll need to think on how best to push you. I may need to head back to Elderloch so I can eat a few sharks..."
Rishi nods, blushing as she accepts the heart. "If you ever want to join the three of us in our ..fun, you know we would love to have you."
Amethyst Amethyst nods, listening to how the lunar works. "It's fascinating, isn't it? I wonder if the two of us really do have such a measurable difference in power. Of course, you've already mastered the Sapphire Circle while I can only dream of more workings in that space. What do you think it is that makes our powers so different? So that yours is just naturally more gifted even if not in the same ways?"

"Don't get me wrong, the more I press my own powers the more I'm convinced I'm more of an equal to you Celestial folks than I once thought. But I just wonder what separates us so. Maybe it's that you're chosen and we're just born into our powers?"

Rishi "I do not know. Some would say that it is the strength of the gods that Chose us that determines our potential... but I've heard of those chosen by the little gods that rival the power of our Sun Chosen friends. I simply know that my power, though it can do much, cannot do everything. No-one's can." She put's an arm around Ammy. "I'm honestly...quite jealous that you could go into a forest and simply ...feel it in a way I cannot, regardless of what circle of Sorcery I can or cannot reach. Though, I certainly would not wish to give up my Choosing. I do love my body and my capabilities...and my house..." she sighs. "It is probably best that we are not able to have everything. For some reason."
Amethyst Amethyst grins, "Maybe we oughta go into the forest sometime, and you can help me learn to listen to the forest. Maybe, after the fact I can share that memory with you, so you can feel how I felt."

"Regardless of sorcery or power maybe I oughta just be thankful that I did Exalt after all, would've been a boring life as a mortal, but I wasn't even mortal when I exalted, not really." She says, "And a trip with you deep into the forest with no real obligations or goals but to enjoy it sounds like the sorta vacation I could use."

Rishi Rishi grins. "Then we shall do that." and Ammy gets a hug.
