| Black Pearl | Azure Tranquility is hidden within the woods around Great Forks, only accessable by going under the water itself. And within, there is a still pool with looming stalactites above it that is normally still as glass--only now disturbed from the two having come out of it. And then the surrounding shore looks like the tiled mosaic of a bathhouse room, with pictures of the five dragons and their chosen doing deeds of awe and wonder.
"Here we are," Salara says, looking around. "What do you think?" |
| Amethyst | Amethyst surfaces, gently floating in the water with a sort of smile she only wears while swimming. She gets up onto the floor and sits with her feet still in the water. "It's nice, like a little hidden hideaway. A good place to go if we ever need a place to retreat to."
Naturally, she's wearing water ready gear, which is to say, not very much at all. |
| Black Pearl | Salara wears little herself, and the scales gain the colored patterns on them again like she wore in the Dreaming Sea. She's been doing that more and more often, sometimes letting them leak out even when with others. Still, she turns back to her soul-linked beloved. "Now, come...there are rooms and rooms, and within, there is a pool of essence-infused water! The geomantic center of the manse. But yes, it is a place of refuge and privacy. Of rest...at least until hunger drives us out." |
| Amethyst | Of course Amethyst's own scales are the sort of almost translucent sheen they've been before. And the alchemist gives her beloved a little hug and gets fully out of the water, "Maybe we should stock this place with food so we never need to leave." Amethyst grins helpfully.
"I gotta see this essence-infused water. I, I think this is actually the first time I've been in a manse proper.She says, looking about, "And you remember what I wanted to learn? That um, how did Rishi put it? 'Turn yourself into water?' or something like that?" |
| Black Pearl | "No, I never heard that from RIshi. But...I can actaully do that! At least for a while," Salara says with a smile. And she leads the way deeper, the tiles and colors suggesting the depths, seaweed, and more. The halls are humid, damp, delightful for those who crave the water's embrace. And at the center, there is a room with a glow, as though from pearls pelow and the soft glow as though the moon through clouds above. At the center is a pool with a small countain atop of it with water burbling out. The water is...water. No true glow, but it is...more real. More refreshing. FLowing. Something.
Salara takes the hearthstone out of her amulet and places it at the top of the fountain and it immediately settles in, causing the fountain's flow to be smaller but steadier..."What do you think?" |
| Amethyst | "Wow." Amethyst remarks as they pass through the c She gently puts her hand on the walls, letting the water dampen her hand. "This is pretty amazing." She says, "It's like one of us but in building form."
"In truth I forget who it was that told me you could do it that, but I definitely want to see and learn that power." Amethyst explains, "I want to be able to assume the forms of various sorts of elementals. And I figure that's a good spott to start." Then she looks at the essence fountain, and can't help but reach forward and let the water flow through her hands. She has this wide-eyed idealistic grin. It's been a long time since she's felt such wonder. |
| Black Pearl | "Well, I can show you some time," Salara says with a smile. The water is power, it moves freely, flowing without bound or barrier, but continuing as it wills, to flow according to the geomantic paths, eventually to flow out to the underground pool after having lost most of the essence itself.
"Since you are here with me...I offer to share this with you, to share attunement with you if you care..." Trusting, deeply trusting gesture, to open to another, especially a sorcerer. "I'll teach you about water what I konw, and share this..share everything..." A giggle escapes as she revels in the joy of being with Amethyst, and Amethyst's delight of being here. |
| Amethyst | Amethyst turns back around to Salara, and she asks, "Share... attunement? You can do that? Pardon, I know not much about geomancy." She grins and rubs her head.
"Um, sure, I'd love to share it! Share our secrets, our techniques, everything." She grins widely and gently leans on the older dragon. "So maybe one day I'll be as good at socializing and thieving as you will be at the arts of the blade and maybe someday you'll be a sorcerer yourself." SHe suggests. "If not I can teach you plenty about the powers of our essence." |
| Black Pearl | "Of course! As for theiving....well I'd say you stole my heart, but you did something even sneakier--you offered trade of equal worth." She grins and touches the younger dargon's nose. "In any event...I've missed you." She sighs, "And there is someone asking about the Dreaming Sea, someone I need to get inforomation on..." |
| Amethyst | Amethyst giggles, "I know a little bit about stealin' hearts~! Just look like at Rishi and Frosty. I stole the heart of two lunars before yours." She gives a wide grin as her nose is touched. She gently kisses the finger!
"Well, I was a local to the Dreaming Sea after all. Who do you need info on?" |
| Black Pearl | Black Pearl nods, "Someone called Ignis was asking about things there, and I wondered if he was connected to people we knew. As for the rest..." She hugs close and purrs. "I have been slowly warming to Rishi as well as more than friends." A chuckle, "I am wondering...do you want a huge wedding, or just elope and present it to everyone as done?" |
| Amethyst | "Hmm." Amethyst considers, "I think I've met Ignis before, but I don't know much about him. But I could try seeing if the folks I used to run with in Champoor are still around."
"As for a wedding... I mean, I certainly wouldn't mind a big wedding, especially after I'm counted among the highest class of Great Forks." Amethyst grins, "Though, I do wonder how the Realm will see you marrying an outcaste." |
| Black Pearl | "Well, we get you recognized as Peleps Yim Ametis...and the rest, well...is less complicated." She chuckles, "Well, I mean it's more complicated from being exiled myself to dealing with politics, but...if you want, it will happen. And if not, well..." She reaches her hand down to lay on Amethyst's chest. "I'd be torn to do it, but if I had to choose between House and them disowning me for being with you..." She gives a quick kiss. "...I'd have to choose you." |
| Amethyst | "Man." Amethyst pauses, leaning, "You could really make that happen huh? I'd officially be Peleps Yim Ametis like I'd always dreamed. Funny when I don't think either of us support the realm."
"And as far as choosing between house and heart, I mean, it goes without saying that we'll stick together even if the Realm calls us both anathema. And I'm sure they'll eventually catch on." "IT'll be nice while it lasts tho." Ammie grins. |
| Black Pearl | "With the evidence we have brought to the magistrates, and the sizes of the bribes that we have access to..." She nods. "Still...I wish I could take the throne. Make things..safe for us. For our friends and loved ones."
"But we're one, no matter what the Realm's law says." |
| Amethyst | "Amethyst swishes her dragon-y tail to and fro as she thinks, "Let's not worry about the throne, not right now. Let's go somewhere and make our own throne somewhere if we're gonna do that. Or, maybe just accumulate wealth and power here."
"The scavenger lands are where fortunes can be made afte It's why my father went here." Amethyst says, "The Realm'll implode and we can just be there collect the spoils, yeah? Civil war will come and I'm sure the only winner will be the Solars and Lunars." "And wasn't Iselsi known for their blackmail once upon a time?" |
| Black Pearl | "I...I still have some loyalty to it. I don't want it destroyed. I'd rather see the change be gradual and gentler than fire adn ashes to be renewed. Maybe I'm deluded, but...things must change, and I think this way of change would be better." She shakes her head. "Still...as long as we have each other, and yes I know Rishi will be part of things as well..." |
| Amethyst | "Unless the Empress suddenly reappears I don't think there's a good chance of seeing the realm continue, I'm afraid..." Amethyst says, looking down, "Though I suppose I'm not too privy to the inner workings, I can't imagien all of the rival houses and struggles among the realm will lend themselves to a peaceful transition to a post-empress Realm."
She gives Salara a little hug, "But on the plus side, maybe whatever comes out the other end will be something better than what was there before. I'd say my biggest fear is the Lunars and Solars winning a decisive victory over the Dragons and hunting us down to oblivion like our families had tried doing to them." She sighs. |
| Black Pearl | Salara hisses a bit at the mention of the Empress. "At this point, she has betrayed the Realm and us. I still think that we could win...but at the cost of breaking the other Houses...and only if we ally with the Solars and Lunars. Whether they will do that..." She slumps, saddened. "We can only try."
She grins then a bit, "But let's speak of happier things now. I can start teaching you about Water and how to become one with it. Or we can just relax an enjoy peace." |
| Amethyst | "Happier things sound good." Amethyst nods. "And it's a little funny that a water dragpn is teaching another water dragon about water." She grins. "I wanna see you turn to water and I wanna learn how to do that. I wonder if we could turn to fire or air too.." She contemplates, considering such possibilities.
"If nothing else I'm sure my sorcery could grant me such powers." |
| Black Pearl | "I think so. Part of it is...hiding yourself so thoroughly within an Element that you become it. It's the same thought as...blending in so thoroughly with people, with behaving as though you have every right to be tehre, that no-one questiosn you." And as she speaks, she starts to become more...fluid as she assumes the Flowing God-Dragon Stance. |
| Amethyst | The younger dragon reaches forward to try touching the liquid Salara. "I see. I'm..." She wiggles her ears a little, "Am not particularly good at blending in. Even in human form I'm still obviously wyld-touched."
"At least I have the markings of a dragon to assure folks that I'm not just some wyld mutant." Amethyst says, "I bet folks would still be a little weirded out by my scales and wings tho." |
| Black Pearl | It's...strange. Pearl is now truly watery, and the fingers sink into her form, making her grin. "Well, it is something to practice. And the air of authority--of having every right to be there--will help. Yes, they will be put off by the wings, scales, tail...but you can hide all those. As for me..." She breaks off a bit, "I'm finding myself more and more comfortable in the scales..too comfortable? To the point where I have to concentrate on appearing human." She steps closer, to let Amethyst's hand sink all the way into her water form. "But right now..." She grins, "If we both get into the water...it could be interesting to try a couple things." |
| Amethyst | Amethyst grins, "They do suit you. I wonder why the dragons blood in our veins didn't see it fit to just give us all scales." She giggles and hmms, gently letter The Salawater flow through her hand as she moves her hand about.
And the younger dragon need not be told twice to go for a swim, and so as she gets into the water, she asks "Mmm What'd you want to try, exactly?" |
| Black Pearl | Salara slides into the water and...vanishes? If certainly seems as though she is a water elemental at this point, and then...the water around Amethyst starts to move, in caresses and kisses. "This...." A watery voice in her ear. "This is how I hid from those first battles near Elderloch. Right now, by body is...any form I wish, even stranger than Rishi's..." |
| Amethyst | Ammie tries to... hug the water??? She's very confused and rolls about, "Wow this is /strange/." She giggles, "I wanna snuggle you but you're purely liquid! Imagine if both of us did this to Rishi. She wouldn't know what to do." Amethyst smiles widely.
"Stranger than a Lunar, that's a new one." Amethyst giggles, "You sure it's weirder than Rishi? Rishi's uh, 'being the very weird'." |
| Black Pearl | "How fluid can her flesh be?" And the 'water' turns into a writhing mass of tentacles and eyes, translucent, but stroking her scales and skin in quite a number of interesting places and ways. "Imagine us both doing this to each other...would our bodies blend? What would happen to us?" |
| Amethyst | Amethyst shivers from all the attention she's receiving from the strange Salawater. She rolls over and swims and loops, almost like she's trying to catch the strange water dragon but needless to say she can't actually grasp her! Though then she has a thought. Channeling her essence and using the knowledge she has of manipulating water, she makes herself just a little more solid to and suddenly grabs Salara! "Got ya!" |
| Black Pearl | The roiling mass of Salara is gripped in those Essence-infused hands, and she laughs before twining around all of Amethyst's limbs and nuzzling all around her neck at once. "Always." She chuckles and light touches flow all over her ears as well. |
| Amethyst | The fae dragon's ears are quite sensative! She can't help but blush and spin as her ears are caressed. She wiggles them lightly as she continues her essence-laden embrace of her wiggly love. "YOu gotta teach me how to do this. And we gotta see what happens when we're both so liquidy. And we need to happen to Rishi." She's giggly and happy. It's nice to see her truly at ease and enjoying herself. Amethyst is usually so... active and outgoing and maybe a little tense. The more playful side of her showing is always a good thing. |
| Black Pearl | "All right, I'll start to teach you," Salara is still all around Amethyst, almost encasing her fully as a suit of water now. "Now...we're underground, and the water is flowing...a good time to start teaching how to do this..." And she starts to twist essence around her. "Watch, feel, and try to match the flows with your own?" |
| Amethyst | Amethyst listens and feels. "It's always surreal how much different the world feels now that I can channel essence." She remarks as she goes through the motions, letting her own essence pour into the water too, synchronizing with her soulmate. "Like this?" |
| Black Pearl | It's a subtle thing, a strange thing. It's not effortless, it's more...will but there's a sense that she can use the water's essence to force her to flow with it...and to then blend in. To flow to a different face, to flow into shadows, or to flow through barriers. Not flawless, but...to help. "Yes," she says as watery scales caress and slide all across her beloved. |
| Amethyst | Nothing with essence is effortless. But it's surprising how it does just... come. Flowing, blending, understanding the way that water and meld one's face and posture and persona. It seems so obvious now, how to mask herself and how to flow and apply her essence in such a fashion. "It's like back when I hid my identity along with the rest of us as we kids of more wealthy adults got into so much trouble... back in Champoor. I swear there must be a way to infuse the essence of the elements into almost everything I learned to do as a mortal." |
| Black Pearl | "Of course there is. This is just the first step...there is so much more to learn. I can help your skill, and teach you more. And I'll learn more from you for fighting and the like." The water shifts again until it's recognizably Salara's shape again, holding close from behind. "Reach back to that childhood, to getting into trouble. And we'll end up doing with style and panache--so that no-one ever knows, save those who are as good as we are." |
| Amethyst | "We gotta plan another heist with Silk after you've taught me these skills. But I have learned some stuff on my own about sneaking though" Amethyst says confidently. And then she bolts off, and does her own vanishing act into the water. Her scales turn translucent and the water itself is no longer disturbed from her movement within it, as though she were never there. Hidden among the waves until just the right moment to reach out and surpirse her love. (Depth-Stalking Discipline) |
| Black Pearl | As Amethyst vanishes into the water herself, Salara spreads herself out and flows slowy, sinking further into the depths, seeking wher she has hidden. That voice a whisper flowing through the water, 'I will find you...' |
| Amethyst | Stalking like a predator through the ocean, Amethyst glides through the water undesturbed. Her fins serve her well as the environment consipires to hide her very essence from all those around her. And she reaches out and listens, feeling her love's subtle disturbance in the water, until she definitely has her in her sights. With a single powerful lunge, she tackles and grabs with essence laden might! And she giggles. "Got you!" |
| Black Pearl | Th rippling foram re-coalesces around Amethuyst, grabbed in essence, not wanting to go away but rather wrap around in an intimate embrace. "You do!" She grins and then kisses softly and lingering. "Wish we could stay here forever...together..." |
| Amethyst | "Maybe one day we can just be together." Amethyst nuzzles, "We unfortunately have work to do, but." She gently holds Pearl's head, "Let's just take the evening to relax together." |
| Black Pearl | "Yes...tomorrow we can go back. Tonight..." The watery Dragon wraps legs around. "Simply rest and relax together, or...anything you desire..." |
