Misa It's a quiet, late afternoon, on the cooler side for the season. This small shrine has been abandoned for years, but has recently been taken over somewhat unceremoniously by a woman from... somewhere not here. A face that would be called Lookshyan by most anyone, and a voice more southeasterly than even here, she's perhaps an odd figure.

Currently, said woman is silently sweeping at the raised stone platform portion of the yard of this small structure- nestled against the riverbank, with low walls helping break some of the river breeze from becoming too much of a problem. Whatever this place is now, it's certainly not the shrine of a river god it once was- and certainly isn't affording the woman any servants. That, or she simply prefers things this way.

Around the dirt section of the yard, there are a variety of weapon racks, all with practice weapons made of wood and reeds. Swords exclusively, at that. A few benches and a small stove in addition, but mostly the false weaponry.

Tepet Makara After the confrontation with the student of his past incarnation and them killing whatever that monstrous abomination of the Underworld was in a tomb manse, Makara walks back to Great Forks but uses a different route mostly for a breath of fresh air. Due to his new armor resembling more of a terrifying Anathema warlord-sorcerer instead of a "noble scion of the Realm" which can attract the wrong attention especially if it's shikari, thankfully he has honed his shapeshifting capabilities to the point he can change the visage of his armor.

His armor now resembles what seems to be a relic of the Shogunate of old as if it's the armor of a great daimyo with some other modifications, such as bearing the mons of House Tepet in the center with some dragontongue inscriptions and images invoking the aspects of Danaa'd.

While the "dragonblood" heads for the path to the city of little gods, he come across the small shrine and approaches merely out of curiousity seeing as there are wooden swords around here. "hmm good afternoon and was just walking around. Hmm I guess these are used for practicing sparring? These are commonplace in the secondary school I was in and I even use them to train some of my legionnaires" He says with an accent akin to that of the Blessed Isle's dynasts while staring at the decoy arnaments.
Misa Misa looks up from her idle caretaking, head tilting slightly as the curiously fully-armoured figure approaches.

"Good afternoon," she offers in brief return. Her voice is soft, and while she does raise it to be heard across the distance, even then it's perhaps on the difficult side to hear. She steps over to the wall of the building, leaning the broom against the structure for the time being before she drops herself quite easily off the stone platform.

"This is a place for practicing certain martial endeavours, yes. What brings a stranger by today, who I would hazard a guess is somewhat versed themselves already by appearances?" she questions, hands folding together inside the loose sleeves of her robes.

Tepet Makara "Martial endeavours huh? I see this is a dojo" He comments on his surroundings while greeting the woman. "Was just heading to Great Forks since I usually stay there in an inn or hotel, but I just stop by to check this place. Had to deal with some business hours ago even if it was tedious" The dynast sighs with a tired tone after that mess he got into some time ago. "I am a martial artist myself but I only know the basics of Water Dragon style from my master. He can be strict, but thankfully he's competent"

"He supposedly knows other martial arts but he refuses to speak of them until I practice more of my water dragon. Sadly I'm preoccupied with legion matters, since I'm a winglord for a Cynis legion in Greyfalls"

Misa "You are a long way from your Wing, then," Misa comments, tones still mild even if there's something of a distance between the two.

"Though I doubt one reaches the rank of Winglord if they are merely apprised of 'basics'," she adds with something of a wry tone. She shakes her head slightly, waving it off.

"I would offer a suggesetion or two of style, but I am afraid the methods I use would not be overly compatible with the Immaculate martial arts. Well, perhaps one of them, with the Fire Dragon style."

Tepet Makara "Its alright if it's not compatible since I remember my instructor saying I should not over rely on a type of martial art even those invoking the Elemental Dragons." He remembers the lesson on overreliance fondly from his monk master. "Despite me knowing only the basics of water dragon, I'm a strategist especially since I was one of the top tacticians in the House Of Bells even if I'm not exalted at that time and with my prowess in wielding tiger claws. Although you do have a point regarding only knowing the basics."
He nods regarding her words that the basics is not enough. "If only I didn't exalt as a dragonblood late so I could have learned more of it, since I got it during my 20s even if the usual are the teenage years. Even my brother mocks me and call me a "Late Hatching Dragon"
Misa A quirk of the jaw, and a tilt of the head the other way. Misa pauses a moment, before nodding slightly.

"I know enough of the tendencies to be familiar, yes. And enough to know that such performance at the House might imply some rather extravagant performance," she notes, perhaps on the ponderous side as she looks around the yard for a moment. "That said, after travelling in... full armour, and whatever other business you mentioned earlier. I doubt you are looking to suddenly take up tutelage under a stranger with unfamiliar weapons."

Tepet Makara "Actually for the reason why I wear this armor right now is because I recently got it hence the business I mentioned. Wish I had servants to carry it in a wagon, but sadly I'm not as rich as a Ragara or my Cynis higher ups due to my household being not as prosperous. And this is an "important artifact of the Shogunate" after all, so it can be easily stolen by thieves and bandits" He sighs as he wishes he had other means of transporting this valuable piece of armor but was forced to wear it due to lack of manpower.

"I don't know what martial arts you teach but I am interested in learning what you know. Hell I may even teach you Water Dragon and pay you in exchange but I'll doubt you'll accept it. May visit here again out of curiousity and nice meeting you. Oh forgot to tell you my name and it's Tepet Makara"
