Fudou the Mountain The Drunken Dragon - possibly a reference to a literal dragon - possibly a reference to a Dynast - is known for its bloody brawls and broken bodies. It is, perhaps, the main attraction in this sleepy yet no-good town in some sleepy yet no-good corner of The Hundred Kingdoms. Busy and active enough to draw the attention of travelling vagabonds and ruffians on their way to the nearest cross roads but not particularly well known enough to warrent special policing or be stamped off the map.

That doesn't stop the occasional spectacular brawl from breaking out given the general disposition of the town folks and the occasional pass through of one group of brigands or another looking for a drink.

And such seems to be the case right now! Whoever or whatever is engaged in fisticuffs has sent chairs and tables flying through the windows along with bodies. The hurtled fighters sprawl into the ground, limply. Some bruised and others managing broken bones. Another set of them come tumbling out of the doors with one shouting, "Let's get out of here! This aint worth it!" and others groaning and showing the signs of whatever nonsense has been going on inside.

Te Aranga Mate Te Aranga Mate eye's perk as a myriad of objects crashes out of the establishment that his is currently walking in front of. As battered individuals flee around him, Mate get a pep in his step.

"Oh golly!" he exclaims excitedly. This reminds him of his youth when he traveled the western islands as a sailor. He hurries into the establishment using his cane. He seems a bit spry for someone his age and feble looking frame.

Fudou the Mountain Or what's left of the tavern as the very outside wall suddenly caves outward with a loud *KATHOOOM* and the ground itself shakes violently and explosively as if an earthquake just decided to drop in out of nowhere. The brigands and thugs scurry backwards as a cloud of dust plumes upwards and rolls out into the streets, overtaking some of them who stare wide eyed at the destruction..though some pause to look in surprise at the arrival of the old man who is just eagerly stepping forward into the fray. But then Fudou - The Behemoth Breaking Titan - arrives.

Actually long before he actually steps into visible view the ground vibrates titanically like minature earthquakes exploding into existence. By the time he is actually visible, the quakes are rumbling through the entire area and dust clouds plum up from between the cracks in the stonework while additional cracks begin spreading through the ground as the behemoth arrives one body part at a time. Each step producing the minature cataclysm as his monstrous shape and physique emerges into view, walking through the wreckage as if it were little more then wet tissue.

An audible creaking rumble resounds as the behemoth gradually swells his muscles, filling them with blood in a rising up his legs and then torso. His physique inflate obscenely and creak towards stupendous proportions, even bristling the massive carpet of hair on the center of his ballooning pectorals. The flex actually sending a shockwave rippling out away from him which blasts away the remaining portions of the dust cloud and fully reveals him.

His expression is a thin lipped grin, eyes wild looking and amused but also holding steely cruelty in them as he rumbles:

"So...you guys STILL not gonna pay for meal??"

...Is that what this is all about???

Te Aranga Mate Thoroughly amused, Mate smiles with glee. Oh, what a find! This man is massive! A hearty specimen indeed. As one man, that appeared to be addressed by the mountain man, attempts to rise an flee, Mate wallops him in the head with his iron wood cane. He then sits comfortably upon the unconscious man's back.

"I could use someone like you! Do you like water?" he fearlessly asks.

Fudou the Mountain "Hruh?"

Fudou blinks as he sees this take place. His physique relaxes, muscles sliding back into a relaxed position with an audible rolling rumble to their heavy movements and he briefly goes slack, letting his supper pillar sized arms hang loose at his sides as he leans forward to peer at Te Aranga. This certainly isn't what he had in mind.

"What the... What d'you want old man?"

At the question, he pauses a few times and then sneers, "Use me for what? Water? What the--you're kinda interrupting something here!"

Te Aranga Mate "I am looking for people like you good sir!" Mate spreads his arms wide as he looks around with a silly grin on his face. "You know how to handle yourself," he says energetical. But also mumbles "though a bit overkill..."

Mate hops to his feet as he continues. "I got a nice stretch of land near the Dreaming Sea and I need people to help me protect it!" He says this as if he know the obvious answer that he's going to get. Who wouldn't want to be down there?

Fudou the Mountain A sound like boulders splintering occurs as Fudou clenches a fist and raises an arm slightly to hold it out infront of him. That arm flexes, billowing and ballooning in size again with a sound like leather being stretched as his physique again lurches towards impossible, nigh inflexible sizes in a display of intimidation that sends the remaining brigrands running for cover. Especially now that the behemoths eyes are fully on that of the old man.

He grins, teeth full and huge, nearly hidden by his massive lightly bearded jaw, but it's an unamused grin.

"Listen old man. I'm about to grind what's left of your bones into dust. What makes you think I'm interested in going all the way to the Dreaming Seas!? . In fact..what are -YOU- doing all the way out -here-! That isn't exactly nearby!"

Te Aranga Mate "Calm down young man!" Mate snaps as he stamps his cane on the floor boards. The board underneath splinters from the impact. "A simple No would have been fine."

Mate stands, avoiding the new hole in the floor. He has recomposed himself. With a shit eating grin he bids his farewell. "Good day, good sir. May your mind quell your strength or I fear foul will befell you."

Fudou the Mountain "Hey wait!"

Fudou's voice booms like rumbling thunder as he takes a step forward and then looks down to peer at the damage in the floor boards. Such a display isn't going to go without consideration as by all looks, Mate shouldn't be able to break a cracker much less the ground.

"Hrn.." Fudou leans back up again and rubs his jaw, pulling the bearded flesh back and forth and scratching it with a sound not unlike dried brush bristles being scrapped across concrete.

"How'd you do that? You're not exactly made of much meat.."

Te Aranga Mate Mockingly Mate replies "Oh! Now you want to listen to your elders in a civilized manner." He starts poking his cane at Fudou while he starts his old man ramblings. "While you were still sucking on your mama's teats I was slaying and laying more monsters and women than you've ever met!" Cane flailing about along with his thin arms. He continues on a bit more in Waterspeak and tends to mumble as he shakes his head.

Then he stops. If one listens closely they can hear him say longingly: "I miss my family." His demeanor changes and his shoulders slump. "Enjoy your life boy. You'll have plenty of trouble heading your way," he shouts over his shoulder as he slowly moves away. The spring in his step has left and he seems to struggle over some of the debris in the room. He kicks it out of the way with a huff.

Fudou the Mountain "Hmm..I'm older then you think 'old man'.." mutters Fudou under his breath while lowering the previously threatening hand to just place it against his hip, still balled up in a fist. He watches as the man heads off and then just shakes his head, By now the tavern has completely emptied as well. Whatever his feud was with the previous gang is..apparently irrelevant now that they are gone and none remain to give him what he was originally after, He looks around and then drops his arms to his sides in exasperation and then turns to head another direction.
