Sivara Nexus is a fairly interesting place to hear snippets of conversations- though usually all the ones that make for gossip are done in the evening. Unfortunately, right now it's quite bright and early. Still, it's an interesting place to be in the city- some kind of combined traveller's rest stop, the curious mishmash of teahouse, inn, dining hall, and bath-house all laid out in unplanned extensions and wings. The clear result of someone with more success and ambition than actual vision for the structure.

Still, certain outdoor portions of the slipshod facility make for excellent meeting spaces, even if they weren't intended as such. As such it's here where Sivara meets with one merchant or another to discuss a sizable deal to be made- yet sadly it seems as mundane as anything.

"... No we certainly have hunters," explains Sivara, talking animatedly despite her ragged frame. "The problem is the area's normally too dangerous for this kind of expedition- and nobody's really been into this ruin. I just have a couple of people that can handle the danger more'n most could hope to. So I don't know how deep it goes for sure, and I'm not sure how long it will take. Which is why we're trying to stock up on long-lasting items, basics and such. I know it's not the same price you could fetch for some of your other items but I can promise you, we'll be back should this all go well..." this goes on for some time, the apparent buyer more or less walking all over the conversation as she lays out what she's after.

Rishi During the conversation, an attractive southern woman in a leather cape was passing through, heading from one area of the building to another. She tilted her head upon seeing Sivara, but did not pause her journey. A short time later, the woman returns to the room, with a patter of tea and honeyed fruit, sitting at a nearby table. She has not said anything, but, from the way she keeps looking over, she's definitely interested in Sivara .
Sivara After a few moments the deal is apparently made, hands are shaken, and the too-thin woman stretches for a moment before taking stock of the room.

Or rather, taking stock of her apparent admirer. It takes only a moment for Sivara to finish her assessment and stroll on over with a certain confidence. "Help you with something, there?"

Rishi The woman speaks, in a voice as honeyed as the fruit she's eating and as musical as a harp, "I'm sorry for staring, but I couldn't help but notice you. Are you unwell? I have some skill as a healer, should you need it."
Sivara A broad, knowing smile crosses Sivara's face, and she nods. "Ah, not an uncommon apprehension. I -was- sick, extremely. Nearly died. A lucky turn in an expedition by my employer of the time turned it about, however. As far as I know, I'm as fit as can be, now. Albeit less some muscle mass."

She prods at one of her arms at that, smirking with some humour.

Rishi The woman nods. "You were most lucky then." She cocks her head to the side, considering. "Are you ...happy in your body? Do you prefer being thinner or would you like your muscles back? Or mayhaps something ...else?"
Sivara Taking a seat quite unbidden, Sivara's brow shoots up at the question. "Not sure I've ever been asked that before. I'd say more or less- could stand to get some of the weight back, but. That's just a matter of getting my exercise routine back on track, and all this new business work hasn't been great for that," she notes, shrugging a little. "Some kind of spirit messenger or something?" she questions.
Rishi The woman seems oddly earnest as she speaks "No, no. I just...care deeply that everyone is able to feel at home in their bodies. Whether sick or well."
"In your particular case, I would recommend a particular herbal tea mixture, along with eggs and soybeans, while you exercise. That should help restore your strength more quickly." She cocks her head to the side again. "What is this venture you're embarking upon? If you don't mind my asking?"
Sivara "Noted. Back home it was mostly a matter of 'enough', so. The what wasn't terribly focused on," muses Siv, shrugging it off for the moment. Another quirk of her eyebrow at that, and a slight grin. "Ah, so you -were- listening. I've made of myself something of a newcomer to the scavenger scene- heavily off the back of being pretty hard to kill and pretty good at dealing with the spots too dangerous for other outfits. So we're off to delve another deadly ruin."
Rishi One of the woman's arched eyebrows goes up as well. "Ah. What do you expect to find in this ruin? Do you already have a healer, if it's so dangerous?"
Sivara "Actually far from a poor hand at medical affairs myself- you tend to learn a lot when you're confined to a bed and worried about it for a couple of years," admits Sivara, chuckling gently. "Spend a fair bit of time bandaging wounds, too, but- I'm also often in the front of the pack too, so. Can't be everywhere at once. Could be growing the crew would be a decent idea."
Rishi The woman tilts her head again, clearly thinking. "I have heard that Scavenger Lords are accustomed to strangeness and tend to be more ...accepting of odd people. How do you feel about such things?" She looks a little skittish, much like a cat that's been kicked one to manny times, and keeps looking around to be sure they're alone.
Sivara "Having miraculously recovered after being nearly killed by some kind of wasting disease-curse, -I'm- odd people. My entourage for this particular expedition already includes a man who seems to have some kind of magic sword. I'm sure I can handle a sorcerer-doctor or something to that effect," says Sivara, almost... flippantly?
Rishi Rishi says, "I am a Sorcerer as it happens, but..." she sighs, then looks around one last time, before she stands and steps back from the table. She unfurles her cloak and Sivara can now see that it is not a cloak, but wings. As for the rest, the woman's feet are now large didigrade claws, which also sprout from the tips of her fingers, while a light downy fur spreads over her body and her ears go up into points.
She shoots a worried look at Sivara, concerned about how the scavenger will take this."
Sivara A long pause from Sivara as her head tilts, brow furrowing a little as she takes in what she's seeing. "Huh..." she exhales before another pause. "There's um... there's a place- where am I thinking of, further east and south a ways..." she snaps her fingers a few times, head looking downwards in thought.
Rishi The woman relaxes a little, when Sivara doesn't run screaming. "I am from Ysyr, if that is what you are trying to ask. My name is Rishi. All of the sorcerers in my homeland are expected to become beautiful. They ...did not agree that I am quite beautiful as I am now." she sighs again. "Most others seem to share this opinion. I am fortunate that many villages find their need of a doctor outweighing their fear of the different, else I would need to keep my disguise up all the time."
She sighs again "It would be nice to be with a group of people around whom I could be myself without worrying overmuch. If your feel that your group could handle that, I should be glad to provide you with all of my talents."
Sivara "Sivara," answers the frail-looking woman, nodding a little. "Yeah, that's the name, Ysyr. But, if you've got the medical skills, I certainly wouldn't mind having someone around. If I'm being honest I'm not all the way convinced yet -I'm- sporting a clean bill of health, so. Another set of eyes might not go amiss in case something takes a turn for the worse."
Rishi "We could get a private room where I could examine you and demonstrate my skills, if you would prefer." She stretches a bit, working kinks out of muscles that have had to remain hidden, her tail sweeping back and forth as she does so.
Sivara At the sign of stretching Sivara follows suit, tugging one arm across her chest idly, then the other. "I mean, sure. Probably best to see what you can do before making anything official or writing up any documents, right?"
Rishi Rishi looks around once more then, with a sigh, pulls herself back into her disguise as a mortal. "You know this place best, so you should probably be the one to inqure about the room."
Sivara "Hm? Oh! Right. I don't come by often but I do have a spot, follow me," she notes, bounding off across the floor towards a particular flight of stairs.
Rishi Rishi nods and follows, smiling. Perhaps she had found a place for herself, at least temporarily.
