Rishi The town of Moonstone Hill, many days north east of Great Forks, is a small farming community. The town is mostly situated inside of a palisade on top of the titular hill, with farmers going out to handle the fields and orchards below. A cool breeze causes the golden stalks of ...whatever it is they grow out here to wave. It's suprisingly calm and relaxing.
Not the place you'd expect to find a Demon or Spirit, even if you've been told that they're supposedly a healer.
Seeker A tall, lanky man walks along one of the fields edges. His clothes are dirty from travel. His eyes weary from the distance. He engages with those he comes across. His arms moving around while he describes what he's looking for.

Most point towards the small grouping of buildings. He continues to make his way there. He can be heard from a distance as the metal rings and chains collide as he walks. He finally finds some shade just inside the edges of the buildings and leans against it.

Pulling out a water flask he drinks a number of large gulps and lets out a loud exhale. He comments out loud but to himself, "horse next time. Their short doesn't mean my short..."

Rishi Fortunately for him, the gates are open and there doesn't seem to be anyone on guard. Inside the wooden wall are a number of small houses and thached huts all centered around a large longhouse, studded with white stone and milky crystal. This likely serves as the community shrine and meeting place.
If you're looking for someone, that seems like the best place to start.
Seeker Brushing off the dirt from the road. Seeker walks over after making himself presentable. Doing one last check, he readies himself to knock.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

"Greetings, I am from Great Forks. I wish to speak with your healer!" He says loudly. He continues quietly "... of questionable background." Not sure of what he is going to find. God. Demon. Mutant. This individual healing in the countryside has him curious.

Rishi Inside the door, it's simply one large hall, the only light privided by the open door and some ventilation slits along the side. Before your eyes can adjust to the darkness, you can only make out a rough hulking deformed ...mass moving slightly, though you can also hear a swishy rustling on the dirt that sounds disturbingly snake-like.
A melodious golden throaty voice rings out. "I'll be with you in a moment, I need to finish seeing to Senor Oak first."
Seeker "No rush. I'm not walking back today anyway," Seeker responds heartily. Leaning against the wall, he watches the shadowy figure for a bit as his eyes adjust. In one of his moments of brilliance he asks excitedly "Do you need light in here?!"
Rishi "No, no I can see quite well." She sounds somewhat preoccupied. As your eyes adjust, you can start to make out what look like ...large bat wings, partly unfurled, and a fluffy leopard's tail swishing along the ground. "Just finish drinking that tea, Senor Oak. That's it..... And just rest a bit. You'll feel much better soon."
With that the woman stands and walks towards you and you can finally see her properly. A very...shapely and bountious woman, for all that she has didigrade legs, clawed feet and hands, four arms, and the aformentioned wings and tail.

She peers at you with her large amber eyes, "What's wrong? You don't seem very ill... I do have some ginger tea that's good for tiredness, but I would have thought you could get that anywhere..."
Seeker Seeker's eyes go wide! For most people it would probably be fear. Not for Seeker. He was intrigued!

"No, no, no," he stammers in his excitement. He was responding to the tea inquiry but that is behind him now. His hand starts to reach out but he stops himself. "Marvelous," he comments absently. "I can see why they would think along the lines of demon..."

Remembering that he had someone talking to him, he brings himself back and responds accordingly. "I had heard of an... interesting healer around here. I have come across some texts highlighting more non-traditional methods. I was wondering if that's what you deal with?"

He quickly adds: "Oh, but I'm not a medical professional my self, though I is an interesting topic, I thought this information different from what I'd seen at Great Forks."

Rishi She quirks a perfect eyebrow and tilts her head to one side. "I am not a demon, person from Great Forks. I am called Rishi. And my methods of healing are based on the herbs and plants of the forest. What could be more traditional than that? So, please do not try to besmirch my reputation among these good people I have been helping." She crosses one pair of arms while her other pair are put angrily on her hips.
Now that she's come to the doorway, he can tell that the necklace she's wearing isn't simple gold, but Orichalcum from the way it glints in the sun. It looks fairly old too. And, despite the fact that she was just kneeling on the floor tending to what looks like several patients, she seems to be entirely clean, as if she had just been bathing.
Seeker A very confused look comes over Seeker's face. His head moves around in an upward leaning fashion as he ponders his mistake. Upon coming to a valid conclusion he blurts out: "The demon comment! The stories that lead me here held mention of a 'demon.' Though stories become embellished, your..." trying to word it well "... physic could lead those slower of mind to concoct such fallacies."

Changing topics quickly, because that's how his mind works, he continues "That necklace is a fantastic choice for your profession as well." His voice exudes the praise he gives to the subject. "Excellent use to prevent the spread no only to yourself but to those others that you deal with. Fantastic."

He starts rummaging through the many cylinder tubes attached to his robes; each it's own array of papers protruding from it. After finding the one he is looking for he pulls it out and hands it to the marvel in front of him. "Here's my notes on what I was talking about."

Rishi The other eyebrow goes up but her head stays tilted as she looks at you. "You are quite odd, Man from Great Forks." She takes the paper in one of her hands and pages through it, nodding periodically. She shuffles them around, comparing some pages to others, her four arms making the task much easier.
Finally she looks up, shuffles the pages together, holding only one back. "The brewing technique on this page, it might work. It is similar to one of which I know. The rest are best bleached and reused, for there is nothing of truth present."
Seeker "Seeker!" he quips when she says 'Man from Great Forks.'

After listening to her opinion on the notes he nods. "I wasn't sure and figured someone in medicine would know better. I do need to learn that some time soon though..." He trails off thinking about something for a bit.

"So, what is happening here? Do they all have the same ailment and you might be dealing with a plague?" He says this with no concern in his voice. Probably a bit odd for most people. "Or, might this just be general healing, aches and pains, irritable bowels, broken bones...?"

Rishi She nods. "It is nice to meet you Seeker from Great Forks." She smiles as she says that however. "Why did you come searching for me? Does Great Forks have no healers? What brings you looking for a rumor?"
She frowns. "There was a fight here. Some bandits wished to steal some of the harvest. A friend of mine ...handled them, while I saw to those who were wounded. For now, I remain here, until all have recovered. After that, who knows. I go where I please."
Seeker "Great Forks does have it's healers. Though, they tend to be of like mind. The most predominate are from the same schooling." Still interested in her differing anatomy (how do the multiple arms work?) his eye are constantly looking at how she moves. "Often a different take on things is needed. But, bollocks is bollocks."

He drops down to a knee with the papers and considers what he should do. Destroy? They are useless and invalid, but can also be used to ensure future writings are false as well... After some internal consideration he stands abruptly. Doing this jostles the large wrapped item on his back. The green cloth shifts some and shows a familiar golden gleam. "At least I can use that as what NOT to do!" he says jokingly.

"Were these bandits basic humanoid or a bit pale... maybe stink of rot...?"

Rishi "I did not see much of them. I am a healer, not a fighter. So, I cannot tell you much of them, but I believe they were simply human."
She watches your gaze move over her. "Most men, when they look at me, their gaze lingers elsewhere, assuming it lingers at all." An eyebrow goes up again as she notices the golden gleam in your bundle. "Ah." She looks around, thinks for a moment, then pulls Seeker back into the building down to the opposite end behind some mobile wooden paneling, into a storage area.

"Are you one of the Exalted Ones? If so, what type? Those with the Dragon's Blood?"
Seeker "Me? No, I'm a Solar. Kissed of the Sun or whatever." His forehead begins to glow. The top half of a circle shines brightly. "You brining me back here is a kind gesture and all, but I'm gona have to decline you." He straightens his robe a bit.

"There must not be many around here. Great Forks has a good deal as well as all the god-blooded walking around." He starts walking back around the wooden paneling. "Are they uncommon out here?" He starts thinking out loud: "Probably not if there are this many injured from bandits... Maybe THEY are the bandits... Then it is good that only this many got hurt..." He pauses on that and stops his movement as well. "You said a friend helped defend?"

Rishi She has an odd look on her face. "I have been told that people such as us," and an empty silver ring shines on her forehead for a few moments, "are not well liked in these parts. I brought you back here to make sure that no-one discovered you. And I am told that we are very uncommon, which I have verified in my travels. Prasad has many of the Dragon's Blood, Ysyr has many sorcerers. I am told that many of the Changing Lady's Chosen claim territories away from the Empire at the center of the World, while yet more of the Dragon's Blood rule there and hunt such as us for sport."
"My friend did, yes. She has already left. Now please stay back here. I would not want the people here to be bothered should the Pure Ones come after us and showing yourself as a Solar would force a difficult choice upon them."
Seeker "A Lunar..." Seeker stumbles out of his mouth as it is agape as he looks at her forehead. That would explain the physic, he thinks. "I must say you are the first Lunar I've met. Read about a few from the First Age, but seeing one... That's something special!"

"I have heard of the Wyld Hunt, but never seen their likes. I must also say that, if they were tracking our kind down, then the rumors that brought me here may also have been found by them." He pauses to let that sink in. "I would believe they would have more to deal with in Great Forks than a few exalted. From what little I have heard of their religion, there would be one hell of a cleansing going on there."

Rishi "I, at least, can fly away and do many things to hide myself. And does not your City of Soldiers also have many of the Dragon's Blood? Do they not also come after those such as us? Perhaps they will not attack in Great Forks, but we are not in Great Forks right now. So, it would be wise not to show too much of your divinity or your soul's fire."
She regards him a moment, her head tilted. "...How serious are you about learning to heal? And do you feel comfortable in the body that the Sun has given you?"
Seeker "Good point," he concedes. "Hitting a place like this would be an easy victory and moral boost." As he talks he plans out a few scenarios from what he knows about the Dragonblooded from the First Age and Great Forks. He's read some books on the art of war, but never experienced it. He wonders how much application would change the theory.

"To heal...? Not sure I can answer that easily. To learn about the body and how the different plant mixtures affect it?" He grins. "That I would like." He does give her last comment pause for thought. "As for you, you get another body from Luna right? Your totem?" He is recalling what he had read about First Age research into the Exaltations. "This is my body from before. It is just enhanced, some what." Still a little puzzled at the question he comments, "Not sure this was 'given' to me..."

Rishi "The Changing Lady, when she chooses us, if we are not satisfied with who we are, we change to become satisfied. We bear her fluid power and flesh can become like water to us. I was not satisfied with my body before and I use the Changing Lady's gifts to explore my options and change to fit my needs. I have also learned to give this gift to others. Just as I can heal, I can also reshape. If you are unhappy with how you look or who you are, I can help you."
She tilts her head again. "In your case, I could easily see you benefiting from more arms. You seem the type to wish to do many things at once."
Seeker "I see..." he surmises. This is not something he had thought about before. At mention of the Changing Lady, Seeker's hands had found parchment and pin to begin taking notes. This is habit for him. Thinking upon this, would additional appendages assist in ascertaining knowledge?

How would this affect the truth of being?

Turning sharply towards the lady, a finger points at her as he speaks, mainly to him self, pacing. "Your Changing Lady let you change yourself, yet my Sun did not..." His mind races through the different thought paths, weighing their merits, eliminating those he finds wanting. He turns away and paces farther. "I was selected as myself. As such, how would altering my being be viewed from the authority that chose me? Does my being become a lie or a new truth?"

Turning back with a smile, he provides the best answer he can at this time: "There is much to think on this. Your proposition has opened a new line of thinking for me. Thank you." He says this with a smile but an absent minded look. Instead of additional arms, how would more brains work?

Rishi "Well, I shall be here for at least a few days more, so you shall have some time to consider. If you will remain and assist me in my ministrations, I shall share with you my knowledge." She smirks "I can always use another pair of hands."
Seeker "That would be wonderful. Thank you for the offer. I could use the rest from walking all the way here."
Rishi "Wonderful." She claps one of her sets of hands. "Now, go to the well and bring me a jar of water. We have much tea to brew!"
