Rishi It is late afternoon in the clearing when you arrive and the shadows are growing longer. The clearing is large enough not to be cramped and well covered in grass and so it should make a nice cushion for fighting practice. The rock, which does look like a dog's head, is tall enough for a teacher to watch well from. All in all, not a bad place to practice fighting.
% Rishi is lounging on the rock, her cloak having fallen open to reveal her rather skimpy outfit and generous curves underneath. She sits up when you arrive "Ah! Hello again!"
Aine While she was in a plain gi before, Aine has changed to her practical travelling attire- with the single flair of her scarf-slash-mantle with the intricate, lovingly crafted striped pattern.

"So why way out here? I am no stranger to forests but even for me this was out of the way." Curiously, in this sort of travel a sizable iron blade hangs over her shoulder, rather than a more traditional weapon of her temple.

Rishi Rishi smiles. "I thought it best to have privacy for this." And Rishi stands and flings back her cloak dramatically!
Her cloak billows out for a moment...before it changes and reveals itself to be a pair of bat wings. The rest of Rishi has undergone a similarly damatic shift! Her legs are now didigrade, she has long claws on both her hands and feet, her body is covered in russet fur a tail snakes down behind her and long pointed ears stick up through her black hair!

She smiles again, her teeth transformed into fangs. "This is the real me. You understand why we had to meet here now, yes?"
Aine "I suppose I do..." trails off Aine- she's easy to read at the best of times, and is rather blatantly taken aback.

It's an awkwardly long moment before she raises a hand to point, questioning bluntly: "Wait can those fly?"

Rishi Rishi opens them wider. "Yes, yes." And with a large flap of her wings, she takes a running jump off the rocks and glides over to stand in front of Aine.
She tilts her head to the side. "If you wish to leave, I understand. Not all appreciate my true form."
Aine Another long pause from Aine, and she adopts an almost theatrically ponderous pose, fingers on her chin as she walks a circle around the now-approached Rishi. A few moments later and there's a snap of her fingers.

"So, you can fly, curious to learn, clearly have a penchant for the dramatic. I don't know it myself but have you ever heard of the Falcon style?" she questions, coming to a halt again.

Rishi Rishi relaxes a fair amount when the other woman doesn't run away screaming. she stands up straight and tilts her head, considering. "No, I have not. What is it like?"
Aine "Showy almost to the last person, fond of spectacle, mixture of strikes and grappling. Very acrobatic- a great deal of leaping around to control distance or get vantages for descending strikes. I have never seen evidence but stories do speak of avian beastfolk doing very well with the style," explains Aine- all the while gesticulating in vague fashion along with the explanation.

"What I was doing we call Mantis, and as you saw it is all about strong blocking and locking up your opponent. Thought it a good alternative to, well..." She shrugs the shoulder over which peeks the massive (albeit mundane) sword.

Rishi Rishi nods. "Mmm. That does sound...suitable, yes. But this...Mantis style? It might be useful for me too, if I am in town or some other place where I cannot be ...myself."
"Regardless, if I come into town to provide healing when you need it and stick around for when you're fighting duels, will you teach me the basics of this Mantis style out here? Or help me find a ...suitable Falcon style mentor?"
Aine "Well, the school accepts many oncomers, and especially those who offer other skills that migh be needed. Necessities, and all that. And I do rarely say no to someone who wants to spar now and then. The temple isn't much of a 'town', it's outside the city by a ways and is more of a complex, I guess? But I guess I am getting ahead of myself- feel free to stop by and I am sure something can be worked out."
Rishi She head tilts and says "Do you think they will mind if I show up like this?" waveing her hands across her current form.
Aine "... That I do not know. I haven't been around this area... terribly long. Perhaps you can tell by looking, but I hail from fairly far to the North. And most I am with now are regular looking folk, and my life before was one of strife and survival, not... wyld and wyrd."

She exhales slowly, beginning to pace absently as she adjusts the scarf over her shoulders. "Certainly I suppose I could ask- if you were simply born a way I see no reason not to."

Rishi Rishi looks...almost sheepish at that comment. "The reason I look as I do is ...not important. What is important, is that it is how I WISH to look. I am who I want to be now."
She regards you again. "Should you wish, I can help you as well. To look the way you have always wished to look. But only should you wish it. Many people are happy as they are. Many more are simply...resigned to their fates. Those are the ones I would help."
Aine "That... might set people off. I would maybe... slow down on those offers," says Aine, brow furrowing a little. "What-- exactly does that even mean, anyways? I mean, I am content as I am- hard not to be when you can do what I can- but I am a simple tribeswoman and well... much of this flies over my mind."
Rishi Rishi nods. "Some people, they are born with a shriveled arm or leg that will not hold, yes? Others, feel that they should be of the other gender. Or they wish to be tall. Or short. Or fat. Or thin. Some even wish to be like this." She waves her hand across her body again. "I am a healer, yes, but I am also a Sorcerer. I know many things about how to help people to change their bodies to be as they wish. Potions and medicines that can help."
she considers this. "....I understand that it might be ....unsettling or sound unnatural, but..." she hrms "It is good that people are happy to be themselves, yes? And some people are not, some people cannot be happy in their bodies. As a medic, as a person...I cannot refuse them if I can help them." 5r
"But yes. I do recognize that most are uncomfortable by such offers, so I mostly do not make them unless I suspect someone might wish for the option. In this case...well I do not lie well, so I thought it best to mention it when you asked if I always looked like this."
Aine "... And to think I would almost miss the head cults," says Aine derisively with a slight snort.

"Sorcery... well. I really do not know. I would have to discuss- I may be a respected and capable student but I am still junior there. Hard for me to make the decision given my place. But I will certainly inquire."

Rishi Rishi nods. "Certainly. Thank you for doing this. I'll remain around her for the next week, so you can find me after you've discussed things. ...I will try to be more circumspect at the temple."
