Fudou the Mountain Massive towering trees, large rocky outcroppings and boulders. Remnants of some long forgotten fortress of some vanished kingdom or another.. Basically the type of place you probably -don't- want to engage a super strong lunar behemoth in battle in given the potential for excessive ammo and ammunition available when one is strong enough to use sequioas as javelins.

But one only get a good look at the mountain of sinew that is Fudou to realize that the threat is being struck by a sequioa is probably the least of dangers as in his warform the behemoth is practically nearly a warstrider of flesh and creaking nigh inflexible muscle mass so immense he looks as if his shadow alone could crush someone simply by him passing by. Moonsilver armor wreathes a too-small jacket that strains at the seams around monstrous pectorals whilest a gigantic grand goremaul sits upright, comparing favorably to some of the trees present. For his part the horned monstrosity is at least relaxed. Lounging back against a large ruined wall with arms upraised and hands behind his head. He sits still aside from an occasional muscle twitch that actually rumbles the ground around him. He's in full on monster-titan mode and yet he seems to be..waiting.

Neza The arena was an awakening. How long had she been battered? How long had she kept herself on a short leash? How long had she been hidden? That it took insult from the well-meaning and the dance of battle to remind herself of her own identity is amusing in a way. And it's that laugh that carries Neza into the wooded wilds from Great Forks.

She waited until she was free from the city before she altered her disguise, comfort does not yet overcome practicality. But she walks openly now. Her cloak work to her back, hanging loose behind her. The light breastplate and knee-tied breeches reflective of the sturdy, practical and straight forward mercenary work she tended toward. But she still bares red ribbon tied at her bicep. Further, she makes no effort to hide her wyld warped body. The bestial features clear from claw to tail. Away from the city, she is free here, and after her blatant showcase, the Solar finds no need to obscure herself for this invitation.

"Hallo!" she's greeting with a long arm waving above her head. At least the living mountain was courteous enough to make himself very easy to find. She didn't even need to sniff him out in the forest. But once she has seen him, she makes good on her speed, with a hasted dashing through the thick and giant trees on toward the ruin.

Aine And yet, the oddest coincidence might bring the plainest of people.

Sure, Aine's a foreigner- from a fair ways north, with her fiery hair and strangely pale complexion. Yet she is neither the size of a boarding house nor a beast person, rather a modest traveller with a simple pack, absently spinning a pair of nunchaku around an outstretched finger as she walks.

It's the noise that draws her- people shouting hello, the general noises of the slight movements of titanic beings. She's rather without haste- and certainly one could have a spot of conversation before she caught up. But she does make her way into the clearing, all too accustomed to picking her way through forests.

"... Well. Now I just feels like I'm interruptin', aye?"

Fudou the Mountain "Well, well, well!" rumbles the goliath from where he lounges. He lifts a massive arm up and waves it idly, twirling a finger around before letting the tree trunk dwarfing limb drop back downward to rest across his broad belly.

"It seems I have guests.. One an invited one..and the other a party crasher, perhaps an unfortunante one."

With that he rolls to his feet, lurching the ground as his great mass tumbles about and then presses up and up and then up smoe more towards his full height. A massive hand rests against his roped up belt line and he turns fully to take in Neza and then Aine with his shadowed eyes.

Neza gets a long once over and he inclines his head at her before noting, "I see you now! Hm...interesting! So Great Forks was stifling you just like me! So then...Sun Chosen, yes? And your bow wielding friend also?"

He then lifts his grand goremaul up, shuddering the area as the temple pillar sized weapon hefts up in one hand to point at Aine. "Is this another of your 'friends'?" he asks of Neza.

Neza Neza halts her run when she's close enough, opting to stand on a tall outcropping of ruin in order to be at close enough height to speak with the giant on his own level. She is almost at speaking when the other voice interrupts. And curious, she falls quiet for the moment.

"I don't know her," she admits, "And I did not expect the archer to join me. That foolishness was entirely my own." Self-deprecation aside, her amusement is clear. "The sun chose me, yes, prior to what you see before you. There was a time I did not look far from our guest."

She doesn't call her spear, not feeling the twinge of alertness she would have had if otherwise a threat. "You are, aye, so who is doing this interruption?"

Aine "Aine, if it helps at all," answers the foreign woman, shrugging a little- entirely unabashed, if perhaps keeping her distance from the giant of the two.

"Though if ye looked like me, I've got some more questions about whether you're the type what likes taking heads from people," she adds, only halfway in jest. She catches the nunchaku in her hand absently, hooking the set of sticks through her belt as she places her hands on her hips.

"Truly, though, was just passing by and heard people- roads get a li'l bare sometimes and seeing some folk tends to help."

Fudou the Mountain "Likes taking heads from people?" Fudou looks on curiously at that and seems to consider it for a few seconds before grinning slowly and dropping his weapon down to an upright position. He leans on it now, using it to prop his immense weight up as he looks on both women,

"Well so what if I am? So are many such 'things' out here in these wilds. You face us both without a sign of terror or a heart of fear for the supernatural or wyld warped so...do you fancy yourself someone looking to do away with such things?"

His gaze flickers over to Neza, "I assume you are wyld warped, at least..."

Neza "And this is why I wear the veil," Neza mutters with cold distance.

She takes a calming breath and puts her attention to Fudou. "It's a scar from one of the Fair Folk, aye," she admits. "A reminder of my place, despite my abilities."

Her arms cross and her head inclines. "Am I right in assuming you consider us a part of 'people' then?" she questions.

Aine A pause from Aine, and she smirks wryly at myself. "Sorry. Lost in translation. Headhunter cults are... a problem where I come from. So when you talked about someone looking like -me- specifically..." she waves it off for the moment.

"Am fairly certain I have met stranger since coming South. And well- if you were -so- hostile, at your size? I imagine that weapon would come for me already. Been in my share of fights to get a feel for that. Or maybe I'm just overconfident."

Fudou the Mountain "Maybe.." considers Fudou, "This place around Great Forks it has attracted unusual ones of late. Godblood, the dead, others.."

The giant sits himself backdown now and leans back once more, lounging lazily as he considers the two women, "The sun touched..and the moon." he continues before leaning forward to rest his elbows on his knees like some sort of anxious child.

"This one.." He inclines his head to Neza now, "Got an urge of what she said was foolishness..and actualy scratched me in the arena.." He looks to Neza now and rumbles, "I said I would answer questions you might have so here I am."

Neza "I was born on the river," Neza clarifies. "I only looked similar, once, some time ago." Her words are clipped, but kept to a steady softness a fair bit distinct from how she had been shouting 'Hallo' not long before.

"It was a joy, thank you for indulging that. Protecting merchants and scouring ruins for scholars had me wondering if that Fair One was correct after all." She rests a hand on her hip. "As for questions, I just would like to know you. I've not met someone quite like you before. And I feel I can be more free toward you."

Aine There's a new glint in Aine's eye as the pair talk of friendly battle- but for the moment she lets them speak, stretching her back slightly.

After a further moment she adds; "I also won't lie- I am... a little surprised that you two did not close lips on talk of the touch of suns and moons when I arrived. Though I suppose if I were seeming more panicked I'd be easily addressed, hm?" An outright grin is beginning to tug at the left corner of her mouth.

Fudou the Mountain A slight grin is given in Neza's direction but then his attention is pulled back to Aine. The grin remains. Big and broad.

"I have some insight on matters. You have not run from us in terror so you are hardly a common folk who might assume us to be something out of the wyld or a fair folk or something terrible like that.." He wags a finger back and forth, "You not only are not afraid but you speak boldly and carry yourself with confident. You smiled just now in your eyes. Battle gives you a thrill. The idea of us clashing is of interest to you.."

Fudou finally folds his massive arms, "Lastly, clearly, out here in the wild lands..we have no fear or concern of talk of the sun or moon. Either I think you can be trusted with this..or..I think you can be killed swiftly if you were to prove an issue. Fair enough?"

Neza "I've learned well enough what people will do if they so much as see my face," Neza says, "And how swiftly it will tell you their intentions." She crosser her arms, claws picking at her sleeve. "The big one covers the rest."

She closes her eyes and bows her head. "Allow me to extend politeness. You can call me Neza. It is good to meet someone from home. Or close enough."

Aine "Ah, so you are from around my parts then," says Aine brightly, more fully grinning now. "Aine, is my name, and I see no reason not t'be at least a little friendly- I'm the intruder here after all, remember?"

She waves it off, chuckling. "But yes, pardon if my appearance puts folk ill at ease. I mean no harm of whatever sort, and as much as I'm good with 'em, not sure my li'l sticks on a rope would stand up to the big one's hammer even if I did."
