Ragara Leyon It is a quiet night in Kerin's Gate as there are currently no festivals in these parts yet but there are some museums in the street that is still open. However the street's walls tells history itself for there are murals and colorful paintings that depict the three peoples and the triumvirate of gods that eventually founded Great Forks. Leyon is all by himself, his daughter busy participating in another festival all on her own. Even if Great Forks is known to be vibrant, the dynast appreciates the quiet

Currently, he is looking at the depiction of the three gods fighting a terrible ghost queen known as the Black Heron as they banish her away from the Field Of Endless Raitons "Hmm amazing, I shall try to do a sketch of it. You know what? I shall write a book about my experience in Great Forks" Leyon brought an empty notebook with him and of course as pen, as he analyzes every detail of the mural so he can make it the cover of his book.

Fudou the Mountain It has been some time but at long last, Fudou has returned to Great Forks and he does so much more mentally weary and strained then he was when he last departed the city.

He passes through the gates, a known and visible figure, distinct amongst most travellers who come and go in Great Forks and so recognized by those who man the gates and who often hawk their wares here in this part of the city. Even as quiet as it is...there's still alwys -something- going on after all. People have to earn their wages.

His heavy footfalls rumble along the streets as he rubs his beard and then his face. Massive body is dusty with time on the road. That in and of itself is strange as he could have simply used an animal form to travel as but it seems that walking is often needed when someone wishes to think. It's at this point that he notes the writer-artist-linguist(?) near the large mural and he pauses and turns slightly.

After a second he seems to recall the strange dynast man and he turns to begin to approach him, though not saying anything just yet...

Ragara Leyon Leyon looks at the sketch with a dissatisfied expression even if the drawing turnef out decent although not good enough for him. "Eugh, damn it. I can do better than this shit" The dynast slowly rips his own drawing from the notebook as he sighs in disappointment. He then throws it to a nearby trash can. "Even my colleague who writes teenage romance novels can draw better than this" The dynast comments as he moves on the observe the city's history

Now he is looking at the aftermath of the Heron's defeat as the three peoples are now building Great Forks

Fudou the Mountain With a sweeping movement of his hand, Fudou retrieves the drawing before it reaches the waste disposal. He uses his massive fingers to gradually unfurl the crumpled work and then turns to examine the mural itself, looking between it and the sketch for some comparison. Finally he rumbles, very simply: "What are you doing?"

He steps forward, holding the paper out to show that he's looked it over and then asks, "...Clearly you are not so bad where such things are concerned but to compete with the ones in employ of The Three you may need better work then this rough drawing."

He looks over the murals as well. Hes seen then many times but has paid them little attention. "Does the history of this city intrigue you?"

Ragara Leyon "I just well want to draw a cover for a nonfiction book about my experience in Great Forks" He turns to Fudou, noticing his presence "I don't want to compete with them, I just want to copy it precisely" Leyon explains as he decides to put the notebook in a small bag "But yes, this city intrigues me. After all it's a walking violation of the Immaculate precepts...and I'm not even mad about it" He says while looking towards the mural

"This city even rivals and even beats some cities in the Blessed Isle in terms of wonder"

Fudou the Mountain "I suppose that depends on what sort of 'wonder' you are looking for but yes... It is a piece of Yu-Shan here in Creation ... sort of." admits Fudou.

"It can be easy to get wound up in its wonders and its dangers though. I don't imagine that your book will be well received by those who are very....ah...orthodox in their thinking."

After a pause, Fudou considers matters for a moment more and then asks, "Why not simply stay here? Why go back to Greyfalls>"

Ragara Leyon "I do not want to permanently stay here in Great Forks since I still want to explore other places in the East. And of course the branch office of my publishing company is there and I'm quite well known in the Blessed Isle as a poet and novelist" He says his reasons to the great giant "Yes, I'm well aware of Immaculates disliking books but if it's scholarly purposes just to explain the working of Great Forks, they will tolerate it. But I've seen more controversial works that pissed off Immaculates and dynasts alike like the novel Malicious Reasons"

He comments regarding how the book maybe perceived in the Blessed Isle. "But yes, this city is as if Yu Shan is in the soil of Pasiap even if it's not completely perfect since I heard corrupt gods live here as well."

Fudou the Mountain "Of a sort. The city is full of danger and corruption but I suppose the same can be said of Yu Shan. The gods here play with mortal lives and make deals and bargains and wagers with one another but so it is in heaven."

Fudou runs a hand over his face, thinking things through before rumbling, "I think if you go home it'll be a mistake. Your heart seems clearly here, to me, and your daughter will go home and likely espouse much of what she learned here. It'll make things hard for you both. Especially you, as you're mortal, but do as you wish. You could easily make a name for yourself here though. You act as if there is only one publishing house in Creation...."

That seems to be all he has to say on that. It is Leyon's business, after all.

"But yes, corrupt gods do live here and exploit matters. It's an ongoing problem..."

Ragara Leyon "I mostly heard about corrupt gods after I heard one getting beat up by a chosen that came out of nowhere with demons. That warrior in green jade is probably gone by now" He mentions the rumor of to Fudou regarding the champion "Yes I'd expect it but we are not the only dynasts to do that. Hells, I imagine House Cynis got away with freakier stuff like trying drugs from other realms like Malfeas. Even my house is sort of infamous but not for it's decadence but I will assure my daughter that she won't tell to a bunch of monks"

"I see gods are just as corrupt as any people in Creation...including the dragons sadly. Although the Realm looks up to them as exemplars of Creation, some of them can be as horrid as the corrupt gods that defy the Perfected Hierarchy"

Fudou the Mountain "Dangerous business for that warrior. Given the mortals looking for the gift of exigence, gangs, devotees to gods and gods desperate to do anything to get prayer, even begging on the streets, it's a fool hardy act to simply attack one of them." notes Fudou though he does seem intrigued. "You'd have to be confident in your power or suicidal. An Exigent could be found to go after that warrior. Still, that's an interesting tale. Though I have to say I dislike the idea of demons running amuck. There was once a demon cult that was trying to take root here."

Fudou shakes his head an frowns, "Messy business. Anyway I leave your daughter up to you but to be frank as she grows in power I worry that you'll be able to keep a handle on her. AFter all, she is Chosen and you are not. SO be careful."

Ragara Leyon "Ah, the demon cult. I heard of it from another man as well here in Great Forks. I bet there are other forbidden faiths here hidden as well and who knows?" Leyon speculates but it seems he is planning to leave for now. "Well I'll be off for now. Me and my daughter have a reservation to a fancy restaurant in" Then he turns back to Fudou for a bit.

"Hmm I wish the demon summoner won't return since the god he beat up has now backup. I bet he and his demons won't be enough if he will return"
