Amethyst It has been some time since the little fae-blood had taken her second breath. She needed some time to set things right and get her cash flow going again before she could work on the antidote. One day she will have mortal servants that can act in her absence, and sooner than before now that the blood of the dragons flow through her veins. But today is the day the three gather to create the antidote for this particular substance. And Amethyst is just waiting in the very center of the sales floor, watching the door in anticipation of her friends.
Hoarfrost Having spent some time previously with Amethyst, Hoarfost has been taking this time to catch up back at home. Taking care of a few matters that she had left undone, but also giving her friend some time to come to terms with her new power. Now she returns in owl form, finding some cover to shift back into a human before approaching the door.

Wearing the same set of clothes though they have had much in the way of repairs and mending. Not to mention a good wash. The witch looks around wondering what if anything is going to be different now that the alchemist is one of the Dragons "Amethyst?" giving her usual soft polite knock before stepping inside. "Are you ready to-oh!" seeing her there in the middle of the shop catching her off guard. "Good morning."

Rishi As Rishi was told to be more discrete these days, she has mostly stayed outside of Great Forks until she got a message to come help with the cure. As such, a mouse with a rather fancy looking coat has snuck into the shop, scurried across the floor, and is now sitting on Amethyst's shoe.
Amethyst Zoom. There is no time for introductions as Amethyst all but pounces her friend and squeezes her. Maybe a little too tightly. "We're gonna do so many cool things once Rishi gets here!" Amethyst practically sings, letting go of her friend and spinning and heading back towards her workshop. Out here it looks pretty good, perhaps more orderly than Frost has ever seen it, and certainly with more things displayed more carefully. Someone has been /busy/. But there's strange marks on the door to her workshop, rounded dimples that resemble a rock that's been worn smooth by the waves.
Hoarfrost @emit "Oh hello little mouse where did you come-ah!" This is it! It has happen she has let her guard down and her life has been cut sho- oh no its not an attack. The prey animal in her, heart racing a mile a minute but manages a laugh as Amethyst accosts her with hugs. She even returns the hug is she isn't too squeezed to move her arms. "Its good to see you too don't step on the-eep!" swung around long hair no doubt rattling a few bottles or displays as she does so. "Oh wow you have done allot with the place."
Rishi The mouse scurries in behind the other two and, once the door is closed, Rishi briefly resumes her human form, before sliding into her beloved gargoyle-esque form. She leans against one of the sets of shelves and looks around, nodding "Is nice place. You are quite well equipped."
Amethyst Everything is in cases so that the venerable storm that is the new terrestrial doesn't knock things over. "Don't step on the wha-OH GOD." Amethyst swings around and oh no she's been caught off guard, and quickly she starts to cast her blood lash when she realizes that it's just Rishi. The little silver canister between her fingers is relaxed and put back away as Amethyst herself relaxes. "Ah, hi." She breaths, and opens the door to her workshop. "Pardon the uh, mess."

And mess is a bit of an underestimate as Amethyst heads into the room. There's all sorts of things that look like they've been worn away by the tide. And Frosty, none of Amethyst's workshop was like this before.

Hoarfrost "Hello sister." Hoarfrost offers a little bow to the other Lunar. She didn't know the mouse was the other Lunar healer but in her line of work it pays not to step on any animals she sees. "You get used to it Amethyst. You should have seen the way I jumped every time someone transformed first pact meeting I went to. I was a nervous ... wreck ..." pausing as she sees the new mess in the other room. Looking at all the damage. Running a finger over a over-smooth surface. "Someone has been experimenting." Giving her friend a proud smile. "You might need a shop that can withstand your-um-you."
Rishi Rishi tilts her head as she looks around the room, carefully stepping over things, before nodding. She breaks into a large grin. "Ah, I see it is the same for you as it was for us. When you become blessed with power, it is like the fizzy water in your veins, begging for you to use it, to act!" She nods sagely. "I ate many animals." she looks around again.
When Frost speaks, Rishi bows back and grins. "It is good to see you too... sister?" Her grin gets even wider. "Yes, I like this. Sister!" She tilts her head noticing Frost's worn and patched clothing. "Sister, do you need new clothing?"

At Frost's comment about Ammy needing a place that can withstand her, Rishi again tilts her head, considering. "Mmm... Mayhaps she should simply come into the forest to practice? The trees will likely not mind some extra water."
Amethyst The young alchemist looks embarrassed with Frosty's comments. And she nods towards Rishi. "I just, want to do! To act! Also to cry. There's a lot of stuff that I feel." She explains. "How similar we are and yet how different..." There's a muttering to herself in old realm, "" Can a Dragon be lonely?

But then she rubs her head and fetches all of the ingridents. Viper Venom, plentiful Sage Root, and moderately crushed Sorrowthorn. She sets each on the table and also sets out some mixing bowls and flaskes and mixers. Also various other reagents like binding agents and such. There's also some notes on the table about this particular mixture. She checks them over twice. "All accounted for." She says

Hoarfrost "Oh the essence fever of course." Feeling a fool for not simply assuming the most obvious reason for the flurry of activity. How could she forget her own early months after exalting. Fidgeting a moment with her hair as she reexamines the room under this lens. "Considering my first month ... less damage." Giving a bit of a nod trying not to uncover too many embarrassing memories.

"Of course Rishi." Placing a small pale hand on the gargoyle like form. "The pack is a family. We may all be very different and lead different lives, but we are all family." Even for the ever-cheery disposition of the albino there is an unusually warm and earnest tone. Perhaps even a little surprised Rishi is not familiar with these facts already.

Brought out of the moment as Amethyst speaks. "Found family is often the most important." Other hand reaching out to take Amethyst's giving it a squeeze. "None of us are alone."

Rishi Rishi tilts her head, giving the Dragon a considering look. She seems a bit otherworldly for a moment, before she nods, grins, and gives Ammy a hug. "Then you can be an honorary sister if you wish. Our Tattoos will not help you as they do us, but we could most certainly mark you so that all will know that you are as a sister to us." Then her eyes go half lidded and she gets a strange look in her eye. "Well, unless you would rather be a lover than a sister?" She glances between Frost and Ammy.
Amethyst "But I still have actual family to attend to. My father could still be in danger, and I'm awaiting my mother's return." And Amethyst looks towards a picture she has up on her walls. It pictures the glories of the realm in the Imperial City as well as the Empress herself. She touches it and takes it off the wall, considering it. "This is also a problem." She says, looking back over at her friends. "I spent all of my life wishing I could have been part of House Peleps." She explains, carefully putting the painting down. "I spent it dreaming about returning to the isle and avenging my father and his household. But here I am, befriending the Realm's sworn enemies. I feel like I'm caught between worlds."

And boy does she turn red when Rishi mentions lovers, but she speaks nothing, her mind wrestling with her conflicting emotions. And she just sits next to the painting she loves so much, of the empire she admired for so long. But now the Empress is gone, her father is in peril, her mother is... busy, and she is in no place to just wander off. Oh and it turns out the Immaculate Texts are /wrong/ about Anathema. Just little tears flow from her eyes.

Hoarfrost Hoarfrost looks for a moment like a deer in the headlights. Red eyes wide as she can't help but look at Amethyst and then down to the ground again. Trying so hard to look nonchalant but instead telling Rishi likely the whole of how she feels with an embarrassed look alone. Taking Amethyst's silence with the painting as response enough. A bit of sadness clouding her eyes as she tries to hide her face and the red of her cheeks behind her long white hair.

"W-we will support you how ever we can Amethyst." Voice lacking the warmth from a moment ago. "Here or there we are still family." Recovering a bit, more confidence entering her voice. "Let us know and we will be there okie? I already have a few ideas for the tattoos. If that intrests you at all still."

Rishi Rishi sits beside Ammy, tail swishing out of the way, as Rishi puts an arm and a wing around her, enfolding her in protection. Rishi's fluffy tail flips over onto Ammy's lap. "You may stroke that, if you wish. Carefully, please."
Rishi looks up, then starts speaking. "I come from the empire of Ysyr. In the capiital, all are either Sorcerers or they are slaves. For many years I was a slave. I tended a garden, took care of animals in a menagerie and...I was content. From them, I learned the magic of herbs and medicine, and awakened as a Sorcerer."

"All Sorcerers in Ysyr are beautiful. It is the first thing a new Sorcerer does, a Working of Inhuman Beauty. It sets them apart from the slaves. When I performed this working, I simply assumed that my beautful form would be accepted by others." She sighs. "It is not the first time I made that mistake."

"I was told to discard my wings, that such things were fit only for slaves. I was given time to do the rituals. And, when I refused, that was when the Ever Changing One arrived, from the Moon's Shadow in my window. They kissed me, Blessed me for my decision, and that...that is when I left."

She gives a worryingly feral grin. "But not without taking some of the menagerie with me."

"I was blessed for my decision to remain true to myself, to follow my own path. It is my holy duty to help others find their true form and their own true path. But, no-one else can tell a person what their path is. So...I shall remain with you and allow you to stroke my tail and offer you what guidance you may desire. But, only you can decide what you wish for your future."
Amethyst Gentle tail strokes. Amethyst wonders if she'd like having her own tail.

"I wonder if maybe I should find some place for Luna in my prayers." Amethyst muses. "To help me make sense of how the Immaculate Philosphy could have been so wrong about something so basic. The Dragons certainly don't seem talkative. Then again, they never did. And as it goes, the Moon shapes the water, it pulls on us as it does everyone. The tides and the waves, as she watches from far above. I've dreamed about her once before, but my mother doesn't have any texts, only old stories."

"What I need is closure." Amethyst says, getting up all at once perhaps realizing her path. "I can't just... /abandon/ that half of my blood. I need to find a way to resolve my thoughts and feelings for it. I'm not naive enough to think I'll ever be a Scion." And then Amethyst puts a hand on Rishi's shoulder, "Least of which because it'd mean betraying you. Nor could I just /go/ to the Blessed Isle. I mean, sure, I could go there and be taken in and I would take the Razor and become a Monk. Except, I know the Immaculate Texts aren't whole. There's something missing. I would never be alright there."

"So instead I have do something else. My first thought was just stealing their books, hoping I could find something of use. Of course that'll get us all in trouble. And if we aren't careful, I'm sure a wyld hunt would follow soon. Tho they would likely spare Dragon, I couldn't bare to lose you two."

"And then there's a final matter. I have /never/ belonged anywhere." Amethyst isn't wearing her wrappings here, which didn't seem relevant until this moment. "In Champoor I was a mutant who had to hide her fins. In Elderloch I was a Creation-Born with no taste for the wyld. Here in Great Forks I'm... well, now I'm a dragon-blooded. But all of my extended family is bitterly angry at you folks, and I'd rather have you over all of them, I think. Maybe. Certainly Frosty here. But here you have offered me... something no one else has. 'Just do you.' And I get the feeling Lunars especially just have that as a mentality."

"So what am I to do, not even a week after my second breath, to resolve any of these?"

Not pictured is all of teh dramatic movements, swaying, hand gestures, ear postures and passion from her as she goes.

Hoarfrost "That is a beautiful story Rishi." Hopping up onto a worktable to set. Feeling this work session has become more of a session for themselves. "I too learned the ways of magic from the plants and animals in the forest I grew up in." feeling a deeper connection to the other Lunar, surprised how much they have in common despite the different approaches. The smile slowly returning to her face. "They helped give me the strength to save them in turn from the loggers and the poachers that came for it. I almost died trying when Luna blessed me with her touch." The memories alone seem to elate her.

"You belong with us?" The young witch offers helpfully as if the comment about belonging was the silliest one in the world. "If that is too small we will carve out a new place?" definitely sounds like some Lunar 'just do you' if anything does. The comment about taking Frosty over all the family in the Isle sure has put a spring in her step again. Hope springing eternal. "Perhaps we do think like that. We are a -ah flexible bunch."

Rishi Rishi headtilts, hrming. "Do not make us out to be better than we are. We feel a deep rage. I have been told most of our elders have focused this anger upon your Great Realm Empire. The hate and anger is deserved upon both sides. It is best, I find, to not involve yourself with such things, and instead deal with what evils you may find for yourself."
Rishi also hops up, her grin suddenly impish. "I, too, find that, being attached to things is not the ideal...but that new clothing is always the cure for the sadness." She draws her wings back, allowing you both to see her high necked, backless black mini-dress with keyhole cut out in the chest, over knee-trousers, all in silk. "Would you like to meet my designer?" Her grin is definitely the kind of thing the Immaculates warned you about Ammy.
Amethyst "That sounds a lot like what the immaculates texts preach there, Rishi. Refine yourself, focus not on the conflict outside, and you will be ready when the time comes." Amethyst grins. She glances between the two Lunars, "My concern about Lunars tho, is that like you said, your elders have whipped up a fury against us. Realm or no, the Princes of Earth are famous for riding in wyld hunts against the Lunars. You two might trust me, but imagine the rest of 'em. They would never tolerate a Dragon-Blooded, let alone one who descends from House Peleps, being anything more than a curious outsider at best. I might just end up dead at worst."

"Clothing designs would be great, but there is a task at hand first that my passions have torn me from." Amethyst tells Rishi. And then she goes back to the table with various alchemical equipment. "We came here to engineer an antidote."

Hoarfrost "That is because the elders have lived long enough to remember the great betrayal." It is said to the both of them as if to answer perhaps a hair tersely. A little protective of the elders, some of them are friends after all "I am a pacifist but even I cannot turn a blind eye to thousands of years of bloodshed. It was not we who struck first." Something about the conversation striking a raw nerve deep in her memories the witch can not put a finger on. Rubbing her temple, she tries to calm herself down. "Sorry ... I did not mean..."

"D-designer?" looking about as if expecting Rishi to produce such a person from Elsewhere. Looking a hair embaraced over her own rags after seeing Rishi's. "It is beautiful but I'm not sure I could afford such a thing ... I could barely afford glue." Giving a little smile to Amethyst who so kindly helped her out. "In fact that glue is what got me started on this cure project we have been on."

Rishi Rishi headtilts, then nods. "Very well. Poison and antidotes first, clothing after." And so doing, she takes a small pinch of the Sorrowthorn and eats it. "The Blessing of the One Who is Many allowed me to shed so much weight from my soul. My essence keeps warm or cool, I need no tools for the stitching of wounds or the shaping of flesh, I have all of the hands a healer could want." Her eyes gleam. "And now I believe I may shed the weight of my vials of potion. Our bodies remember what we have consumed. The Essence of the Moon allows us to coax such memories forwards. This is what allows us to become animals. But I think I have found the trick of bringing forth the memories of medicine into my blood and tears."
Rishi smiles at Frost. "it is not who strikes first that matters, but who is the first to give up striking. But then, all peoples do the things that are terrible and sometimes striking is needful. That is what we prepare to do here. But...here we do not strike because of things they have done, we strike to stop things they will continue to do. Keep this in mind."

She grins again. "And do not worry about such costs for your clothing. I shall handle what is needed."
Amethyst Amethyst closes her eyes and claps her hands together for something like exactly two minutes, breathing in regular rythmic cycles distinct from how she usually breaths. It's clear this is some sort of meditation that she does. And then with a final sigh she opens her eyes with renewed focus. "Do we start with making the substance?" Amethyst asks. "I've personally always found it easiest to counteract a recipe with a sample in hand." She's already carefully and delicately beginning to put things together.
Hoarfrost Hoarfrost glances between the two. Unsure for a moment. Without much flare she pulls out a few vials of worked Sage Root and Sorrowthorn she replanted in her forest. Her knowledge of herbs helping her refine the substance, at least she hopes. Closing her bag with a motion as if to say 'tada'

"There is wisdom in that of course Rishi ..." relenting a bit not really wanting to push the issue either way. "I'm no fighter in any case. I would prefer if both sides would leave each other be."

Rishi Rishi nods. "We should definitely produce the poison first. I would best like to know it and experience is the wisest of teachers." She smiles at Frost. "Ah? You have already made the poison? Then test it upon me, and I shall know it, and you may study it."
Amethyst Amethyst grins and takes the powdered herbs. One more step already done. A swift cut from her ritual knife, and there's a small amount of blood pooled around her now. Her anima bursting, burning just below the point of withering away the wood. Then she goes to work. Her hands dancing along a practiced rhythm at an extraordinary speed, it's almost mesmerizing to watch how she slips all of the various reagents and manipulates them. Her blood is part of this as well, holding vials and whirling about to aid in her ability to move with the fluid motion of a wave across a beach.

And as the wave comes in, it also goes out, and so it's almost like she grabs a second batch of processed materials, waving over them and collecting them and dragging them with her as she moves back and forth processing nearly everything in parallel. It is mesmerizing to listen and watch the alchemist dance with her craft. And she's even timed around the efforts of the other two alchemists as they do their own parts.

Hoarfrost Hoarfrost lends aid how ever Amethyst requires. By no means a master she has rudimentary skills that at least make her an idea assistant. Always ready with a vessel or tool before it is even asked for. They work the day and into night with barely a moment pause. Not much chatter is had as they focus on the task at hand.
Rishi Rishi, for her part, seems to just sit there, meditating. Perhaps occasionally taking a pinch of one of the ingridients and eating it. But from the thrum of essence in the room, you can feel that she's doing ...something. Her ...tattoos? ...chakras? ...veins? start to glow with a dappled darkness, like the light of the new moon. When Ammy is ready, Rishi simply holds out a hand and uses a claw to prick the end of her finger and drip seven drops of green blood into the mixture.
Amethyst And it is with a careful breath, her goggles on, gloved up and everything, that she lets Rishi give the final 7 drops. And then she just swishes it around a little, and nods. The end result is a jar half full of the solution. And Amethyst lets loose a fairly intense sigh as she smiles and giggles. "Well, if I did it right, I have stuff here that can even knock out chosen." She looks between them. "Now we just need to verify it works, and make an antidote. I'll volunteer if you two do not wish to." She might be too brave.
Hoarfrost "Or maybe we do not poison our Alchemist?" Hoarfrost sounds rather incredulous that Amethyst even would subjest such a thing. "We can find something else to test it on, unless you have charms to purge poisons in a pinch Rishi?" Not really liking the idea of poisoning anyone, even another animal if she was being honest. "Any ideas Rishi?"
Rishi Rishi simply holds out her hand. "Those blessed by the Ever Shifting One learn things by experiencing them. I will learn much by experiencing this, so please test upon me." She smiles. "We shall see if my body produces a cure before you do."
Amethyst "Hmm, that almost sounds like a challenge." Amethyst is glowing not quite as much anymore, but her anima is still alive, its purple and deep blue reminiscent of the ocean and the sunset. "Brace yourself my dear." She places some of the substance on Rishi's hand, and waits. Meanwhile she looks at her book, and starts to figure out how to reverse engineer the substance. And she starts to get help from her assistant, slowly working out the formula almost backwards to neutral the effect rather than cause it.
Hoarfrost Hoarfrost glances between the two. She knows Lunars have some crazy powers against poisons and sickness but still it worries her a bit. "Your sure?" wondering why they both have such bravado with this. With a sigh she nods and gets ready. Both to take notes and treat Rishi if it is called for.
Rishi Rishi stiffens as the poison goes onto her skin, her eyes rolling back into her head. "That is...most....strange." After several moments, her anima flares to life, her tattoos glowing, as tears start dripping down her face. "Catch ...them." she breathes out, barely concious.
Amethyst Amethyst hears her friend's words, and she has a vial ready to capture Rishi's tears. To which she hands to Frosty and nods at her, communicating all she needs to before finishing her own medicine, negating the effects with both the initial ingridents being boiled and distilled, and combining those with neutral agents and metamorphic reagents.

It is not long before her anima licks at the table and starts to wear down bits and pieces of it as she goes, but her alchemy lies unaffected! There's also several new bits of wood surrounding the table, just simply nailed on crudely but someone unfamiliar with carpentry. This is an ongoing problem with her current workshop. And the sea lion in her anima sees itself in her as she swims through all of the various materials and mixtures and reasons faster than her body can properl articulate, before eventually, the anima fades, and she's left with her own mixture.

Rishi Rishi's nearly unearthly stamina and intense will allows her to stay barely concious, helping direct Frost in the best ways of treating her. She can feel the effects of the poison, picture what it's doing to her chakras and force her body to produce counter agents as well. Her tears and blood and flesh become powerful stimulants and purgatives and antivenins, all feeding back upon themselves until Rishi suddenly starts fully awake! Still crying, she catches the tears and mixes it with her blood and gives this to Ammy. "Take this and compare the two cures. We may yet find a more effacious treatment!" She sits back with a sigh. "Tell me when we shall begin the next round of testing. That was most amazing!"
