Rishi It is a nice day in Great forks and a woman with the ochre skin of a southerner and long hair like dark silk and a leather cloak over a figure hugging silk dress is out shopping for ...fruit apparently. Candied or preserved. Though, from the way she talks to these merchants, it sounds more like a doctor checking in with patients than a person buying fruit. "Ah, and you are better now? The cream has cleared your skin issue?" Her voice sounds like it has more honey in it than the candied fruit.
Of course, Great Forks has a large shopping district and such stalls are in many places, so the woman ends up walking through most of it (though her dress never seems to get dusty) and would likely run into anyone of interest who was also out shopping.
First Socket of the Heavenly Garden The hustle and bustle of Great Forks is always a bit of a nice place to visit to Socket, the sounds of the voices all around and people doing things much more comforting than the sounds of the woods to her, and it has the benefit of being the place to trade some things for other things, as she makes a few small things she can sell to get other materials for her projects.

This bartering and meeting people means that Socket does eventually come across Rishi while out shopping, smiling to the beastwoman, as she finishes her negotiations for some bronze.

Rishi When Rishi sees Socket, her eyes light up and she waves, before walking over. "Ah! Hello my friend! Do you have some time to chat? When you are done here, there is a teahouse not to far where we could have the lunch." She beams at you.
First Socket of the Heavenly Garden Socket smiles back to Rishi, "Hi! Sure, I have some time, I think we're done here anyway, I'll be back to pick that up." She nods to the merchant, "Oh, that sounds delighful. Yes, we can head over there!" She laughs, "Is there some sort of occasion?"
Rishi Rishi takes you off towards a place called the Puzzle House, which is a large wooden building that looks like it was made from randomly jamming other chunks of buildings together, with little apparent rhyme or reason to them. However, at it gives the place a lot of quiet little nooks and crannies for private conversations, it's well liked by anyone with some secrets to share.
After getting their tea and lunch and finding a quiet place to sit, Rishi finally responds. "Well, I have not seen you for some little time, so it is good to be talking and catching up." and then she blushes a little bit. "I have also started staying with my good friends Amethyst and Hoarfrost, so I am now being quite happy on this day."

She tilts her head, her hair sliding over her shoulder, only slightly restrained by the hairband made of vines, as she visibly considers something. "...I feel like I should, mayhaps, give to them a gift. But, they both have many of the things already and I do not wish to burden them further, by giving them the things that own them, instead of the things that can be reclaimed by the forest when you are finished. You, who make many of the things, I should like your insight."
First Socket of the Heavenly Garden Socket is happy to head over to the Puzzle House, which she hasn't visited before, but has been rather curious about the strange construction and how she could be improving and making this whole city more efficient, but that hasn't really been the most important activities for her anyway, there are always countless other things to build without seeking out new projects from people that aren't particularly interested.

Inside the teahouse, Socket happily enjoys some tea, then smiles, "Oh? Well, that is delightful! I'm glad to hear you are staying with your good friends, that seems like it could be sligh-" she pauses, realizing saying things about Amethyst's situations might not be ideal anyway, then nods, "Mmm, a gift. Gifts are good, I suppose." She pauses, "I mean, I don't think that something that owns them would make a very good gift anyway, for one the resources that would be involved in making such a construction would require finding some favorable geomantic locations and a good deal of jade and soulsteel" She respondds, taking the ownership by the property maybe a bit too literally. She pauses and sips her tea again, then says, "But anyway, there are all sorts of other things you could offer them though that depends much more on their needs and desires."

Rishi Rishi chuckles joyfully then says "Ah, no, no. I am meaning...When you own the thing, it is being useful or making you happy, yes? But, it is also something you are now needing to carry or protect or take care of. It is taking of your time and your ability, yes? So...the thing must be worth all of the effort."
Her cloak opens slightly, apparently by itself, showing the golden necklace that she wears. Most others would likely find their eye drawn to her impressive cleavage, but Socket can tell that it is a minor artifact. "I am keeping this because it is keeping me always clean and this is a most necessary thing for the healer. But... I couldn't carry... I mean, I this satchel is not being light and ...I travel much, so I am not able to be owning much. Even if I am to be staying with my friends now, I do not wish to be owning more." From Rishi's expression, it seems there might be some hurt there.

She hrms. "I do not wish to give my friends the burdens that I do not want, but I do wish to be kind to them. I'm not sure what is best."
First Socket of the Heavenly Garden Socket looks curiously at Rishi, "I mean, that is certainly a view, but protecting one thing tends to protect the other things with it, besides you tend to need things in order to do anything like survive the tides or the seasons or the like... So it's certainly always necessary." She looks curiously as Rishi opens the cloak and shows herself off and probably the artifact, too, as she nods, "Mmm, well, it tends to also be necessary to have the appropriate herbs and tinctures and distillations in order to be a healer, too, doesn't it? How are you to reduce the fever without the right bark concentrated... I'm amazed you can do much healing at all with so little."
"I think it might be more important to consider the things they want. I know at least one of your friends wants to construct quite the place and it will have all sorts of things inside..."
Rishi Rishi smiles again, in a rather more feline way. "Ah, but our blessings give us so many things. The blessing of the Ever Changing One, they have given me the very sharp knives," for a moment Socket can see very long and thin and quite sharp claws extending from the fingers on Rishi's right hand, before they fade away and look like normal fingernails once more, "the power to move flesh with my hands and my essence, the power to ignore the cold and the damp and the heat, the power to gift others with the animal features using my blood, and most recently, I have beguin to discover how to make the medicines from my tears and my blood. For the things, I cannot make from my body, I have the summoning for servants to assist me and make the things that I cannot, like my dress."
She sighs "The only things that I cannot make from myself or summon, they are the fruit with the added sweetness and the jars of the ceramic for the ointments that I am giving away. And the necklace. And they are being...enough for me." She's definitely a bit sad now. "I am not wishing to be abandoning more of the things. It is best to not be having them."
First Socket of the Heavenly Garden Socket blinks, while Great Forks certainly isn't exactly a haven of Immaculate presence, she's still a little surprised, and she nods, "Yes... sure, that's certainly... quite the thing. Though most of us like to use some cloth to ignore the cold and the heat and the like, it turns out that works quite well and is much less likely to render us a target of a group of people coming from Lookshy to put an end to it." She laughs, "Oh... well, so you think that having things is basically servant-work?" She pauses, "That's certainly an interesting sort of view." She comments, "And... aren't these nice things?" She gestures to her delightful tea, which she takes another nice sip of.
Rishi "It is not that they are not nice, but it is that I do not need them. And it is not that I think owning the things is for the servants, but..." she does lower her voice a bit further "...the demons can be making things for me, most quickly and easily. I do not have to worry about leaving the things behind, for they can be making more and I can be summoning more. My knowing of the things means I do not need to let the things they make be owning me back."
She headtilts, considering. "You are having the point though. I have crafted myself to be most able to live on my own, to do the work without the tools or the supplies. The others...they are not able to be doing that. Perhaps...Perhaps the gifts would be being fine."
First Socket of the Heavenly Garden Socket nods, listening curiously, "Mmm, a whole night of... involvement and likely some preparation before, making sure you have a space where you can do such a thing, that sees like a rather involved sort of operation to start to me, certainly more difficult than carrying a few more things, or better still, having a place where most of your things are and then you can keep them inside and have them all safe together. Besides, that evening of work could do a great deal of much easier payoff by tending to keeping yourself safe." She pauses, "Besides, being able to do things without tools is... nice, I may... do it somewhat regularly myself, but it's certainly better to have the right tools. I have known many who would have died without the right tools, and many who almost... did die because the tools had... reached disrepair and..." She looks around, "PErhaps that is a story for another time."

"What do you even want to get them? I'm sure thy would appreciate gifts. That is certainly the more common reaction."

Rishi Rishi suddenly seems uncertain. "I ...do not use the things much, so I do not know what they might be wanting. Would you be helping?"
Rishi then headtilts again, looking Socket up and down. "Are you being happy in your body? One of my holy duties from the One who is Many is to be helping those who are not ...joyful in their current form. Changing their bodies to be as they desire. This is a gift I have given to many and I am happy to give it to anyone, but most especially to my friends. Even if you do not have the time to help with my gifting."
First Socket of the Heavenly Garden Socket looks curiously, "I mean, if I were to simply make things for them, it wouldn't really be helping you provide gifts, would it? It would be just me providing them with gifts." She shrugs, then adds, "But I can certainly make things if that's what you're asking and while I may be somewhat busy I'm sure I can work other things in." She then looks down at herself, "Um, that is nice. I'm... not quite sure what you're offering there, but that does seem like a gift I don't really need anyway."
Rishi Rishi headtilts, then nods. "There are many out there who, when they look at their reflection, they see a ...wrongness. They wish to be other than they are in some way. If this is not how you feel, then that is wonderful!" She smiles at Socket. "It means you are happy with yourself. But, I make this offer to everyone, because... seeing wrongness when you look at yourself is most painful. And I heal pain." She headtilts again, looking at Socket. "...I also do the listening, if you ever wish to talk about the ...bad memories."
She looks over the table, you both having finished, and then stands "For now, if you are having the time, would you come along on the shopping trip? I am mostly not dealing in the money, so having the friend who can be bargaining for me would be very kind of you. I can help you with any of the healing you might be wanting or finding the rare plants in the forest." She looks smug for a moment "I am very good at finding the rare plants in the forest."
First Socket of the Heavenly Garden Socket looks a little confused about that initial comment, "Mmm, well, then there are always certain repairs that can be made. I mean, to the mirror, or to the person..." She holds out her replacement hand for a moment as demonstration. She shrugs and nods, "Yes, well, that is excellent that you can heal such pain. Well, it's less about the bad memories, and I'm less concerned about how bad they are and more about announcing things, as I'm informed that I have a tendency to... occasionally overdo things and that apparently you never know who might be listening. So, I tend to try to stay safe there." She shrugs, "Yes, I can... help with a shopping trip I suppose? Though when you don't know what you want that seems like a struggle."
Rishi From the hesitant way that Rishi first approached you, the fact that most Celestial Exalted have to leave their home communities, her strong Firetongue accent, and some of the comments she made about having to leave things behind...it suddenly seems to Socket that this woman likely had to leave behind a number of things that were important to her and run away quickly. Or well fly in her case. Maybe multiple times. Why else would she be so focused on doing things so inefficently, just to make sure that she doesn't have anything she can't carry with her or make for herself?
Rishi seems blithely unaware of this sudden insight on Socket's part, instead looking more closely at her hand. "...I unfortunately do not yet know how to replace the hands. Once I am figuring this out, would you like my help?"

Rishi smiles gayly "Ah, but that is the best part. We explore the market and look for the hidden wonders, the secret treasures. We seek until we find the thing that calls to us! That is how we are finding the best gifts!"
First Socket of the Heavenly Garden First Socket of the Heavenly Garden says, "No, I quite like this one, I made it, well... basically made it, there had been something perhaps like it? It is hard to say entirely for certain, it had not exactly been in operation for a thousand years or so." She then laughs, "So, I'm quite happy with my current hand, and will certainly be making other such things in the future I'm sure. Mmm, well, that sounds like an... idea." She shrugs, then shakes her head, "Though I've been out there a bit and could likely tell you nigh-everything there is out there, though the difficult part would really more be what might catch your interest..."
Rishi Rishi is already pulling Socket along, back out to the market. "You cannot find what you are not yet looking for. Without looking, you do not see what you need. This will be fun! You will see!"
First Socket of the Heavenly Garden Socket isn't entirely sure what she's looking for, which following Rishi's logic is going to continue to make it very difficult but apparently this is time to go shopping and so off she goes into the city to see what there may be.
