Amethyst It was a long walk, it always is, from Great Forks to the Wintersong Forest. Maybe someday she'll learn how to use sorcery to make it shorter, but that's not today. Today, is special, as the young alchemist has at last decided to trust herself to the Lunars, to restore her old form from her time in the wyld. Amethyst came here looking for Frosty, but she must still be tending to the forest. She's sure that Frosty'll catch up. So instead, now she looks for the spectacular building that Rishi had created out of /nothing/. All while quietly muttering to herself in high realm, "<<One day I'll figure out how to crack the sapphire circle.>>"
Rishi &r Ammy finds the building in the large clearing, slightly changed from the last time she saw it, but still an immense mansion. Inside is still a large hall with many couches and tables, designed for those with unusual anatomy. The tables bear plenty of food and drink. &t &t &r After a few moments, Rishi descends the stairs, wearing tight knee length trousers and a backless sweater dress. She brightens up when she sees Ammy. "Ah! How are you on this most glorious day!"
Amethyst Amethyst gingerly walks through the halls. This is still eerie to her, even if she does know that it belongs to Rishi. And then she spots her. She races like a river, and when she leaps and pounces, she crashes into the larger woman like a wave breaking against the shore. There's even a splash of water! The Dragon really is a liquid. Happy ears go up, and she's giggling and grinning. "I'm good! How about you?"
Rishi Rishi giggles as well, hugging Ammy tightly, spinning around, her wings flaring for a moment to retain balance, before she "falls" onto a nearby couch with her friend, snuggling together. Rishi reaches over for a bowl of nuts and passes it over to her tail, which holds it so Ammy can reach it, while she grabs a bowl of honeyed fruit slices for herself.
"So, what are your plans being for today?"
Amethyst Ammy snags on some of the bowl. "Well." Middle ears are more serious, as serious as one can be when they're cuddling on the couch. "I've been thinking about me and my place right now. Why do I need to go back to Elderloch and /prove/ something to them? I know two beautiful lunars that could help me just as they can." She noseboops Rishi. And then her tone steadies. "I want to earn the rest of the tattoos on my body, so that I might truly resonate with the wyld. I am /sure/ that with its power, that I can work wonders with sorcery that few Dragon-Blooded could dream."
Rishi Rishi tilts her head, considering. "I hope you that you are most successful! How may I be helping you with that?" she grins. "I do not know much of the tattoos you use, but I know what we are using. Perhaps we could be reconstructing them?"
Amethyst "I know little about your tattoos, but the ones inscribed onto me are a record of the quests I've overcome in the shoreless wyld. They stabilize the essence within us, and allow us to focus it. Tho I'm sure my essence is plenty stable, being born of the Dragons, drawing out the wyld spark that lies somewhere within me, that will be the tricky part."

Amethyst grins, excited ears go up. "And I'm sure you and Frosty can put your heads together to reverse engineer how these tattoos do that. Tho I am no Lunar, wyld blood does lie somewhere within me. But one of the key steps is for one of you to witness what exactly it is that I go through to get them. And whatever it is, it won't be easy."

Rishi Rishi nods. "I see, I see. So...How are we to best be convincing them that you deserve the tattooing?" She tickles Ammy, "Because you are most certainly deserving of them!"
Amethyst Giggles! And counter tickling! Amethyst worms just a little as she considers. "Well, I need to befriend a Raksha who can initiate the thing. Now I'm not supposed to go back to Elderloch. Nothing stops me from finding some other Raksha to help me tho. But that sounds like an entire task in and of itself. I need you guys to figure out how to make this ink unless I want to be covered in moonsilver. Not that /I/ mind, but I'd rather not look like a Lunar. And we another thing, is we gotta figure out how the tattooing works. Ugh, if I could just talk to my mother..." Amethyst grumbles.
Rishi Rishi laughs as well, then hrms. "Perhaps if we are grinding the jade instead of the moonsilver, we may be making the ink? ...We would be needing to test it... hrm...".
"Why can you not be going to talk to your mother?"
Amethyst "I dunno exactly why I can't go. It was something about safety and the Yim family. Maybe I should just go back..." Amethyst says, rubbing her head. "What's the worse that could happen? Maybe they'd be hostile to me or something. Or maybe I'd get in trouble for something I don't quite understand. They're Raksha, alien of mind and soul to us Creation-Born. It could be for any number of reasons that my mother wanted me to leave."

"Jade... Jade and Gossomer? What do you think of this idea?"

Rishi Rishi headtilts, thinking. "It is something I should be wishing to experiment much with before trying, but it is certainly possible...there are some herbs and venoms that might be being useful too. Some small amounts of the moonsilver to bind it together might be being useful. Hmmm... Possibly some of the Orichalcum too? It is said to be the most Sorcerous of metals..."
"Is there being a way you could send them a mess... OH! Could you not be contacting her with the Infallable Messenger? Then you could at least be finding out whether you could be visiting." Rishi sounds ...wistful.
Amethyst "Had I known the spell it would be convinent to send a message. Maybe I can have someone do it for me... Just, a message to Elderloch asking her about how things are going and if it's alright to return. If it is, then all is well! If not, well, I will have plans for it. I lot of experimentation sounds wise, maybe I can offer some of my alchemy skills. Just so long as I don't look like I have moonsilver tattoos." Amethyst says. "And gossamer I know how to source. I cannot say the same for any of the other metals."
Rishi Rishi smiles. "Frosty learned of the Infallable Messenger and taught it to me. I can be teaching you or sending the message for you, whichever you are liking."
"The markets of Nexus and Great Forks might be having the small amounts of the materials. I am having a small amount of the moonsilver ink already, just in case I am finding a new Lunar. And I am knowing much of the plants here. Mixing them all up however....that would be taking much alchemy skill." Rishi boops Ammy's nose.
Amethyst New Lunar. Words that flow in her head as she's briefly lost in her own thoughts, ears lazily laying back. The noseboop brings her back to her senses tho. "Ah, right. Well, I know many formulas for making ink. I'll just have to get the ratio of materials right. But first we gotta get those materials. Maybe it would be just as simple as melting down some jade coins... But I don't even know how to /do/ that. Clearly there needs to be a lot of things planned for this." Amethyst just lays her head against Rishi. She looks tired all of a sudden. "If only I didn't need to go through such efforts..."
Rishi Rishi strokes her hair and holds her close. "Great rewards come from great efforts. Hrm.... Also Ammy, you are being a Dragon. Your Blessing works best when you are working with others, yes?" Rishi kisses the tip of Ammy's ear. "Do not be forgetting that you have many friends among the Exalted here, so you will have much help with your great efforts."
Amethyst There's a deep sigh from the Dragon's chest. "It works best when I work with other Dragon-Blooded." Then, as she has a harrowing thought, the Dragon holds her head. "...Since Exalting, I haven't even /met/ another Dragon. As much as I love you and Frosty, you aren't substitute for my own kind. I am, alas, a Dragon." Amethyst sighs and turns and buries herself into Rishi, closing her eyes. "Why couldn't I had just become a Lunar." Sad ears are down.
Rishi Rishi pulls her close and holds the distraught dragon. "We are Blessed by the Great Gods for reasons we may never understand. All we can do is use their blessings as best we can."
Amethyst Laying roughly atop of Rishi in her mansion and looking sad, Amethyst tears up just a little as she nods. "Yeah..." Her voice is quiet. "All I can do is make use of what the Dragons have given to me. And do what I can to work around those limitations. At least old age isn't a thing we need worry about."
Hoarfrost "Hello?" Hoarfrost wonders through the spacious halls curiously. She is later than she expected and not sure where the other two might be in this massive place. Bare feet softy padding on the elegant floors as she goes. Turning a corner and finally spotting the other two she smiles and waves. "Ah! There you are, hopefully I have not missed much!"
Rishi Rishi cranes her neck around and smiles at Frosty. "Ah! Come join us! Ammy needs some cheering up and cuddling with us both should be helping I am thinking."
Amethyst Within a second of hearing Frosty's voice, there's a turbulance and then Amethyst has flung herself off of the couch and is running towards Frosty. And it's a splash as the Dragon embraces her and squeezes, little water droplets forming from an anima that shows just briefly. "Frosty always makes the day better." She chuckles sadly and leans her head onto Frosty.
Hoarfrost "and you both brighten mine." Hoarfrost chuckles wrapping her arms about the little Dragon and giving her a firm hug. "We are cheering Ammie up? What happened?" a bit of concern entering her voice as she moves to join Rishi on the couch. Hand entwined with Ammie as she pulls her along.
Rishi Rishi mock frowns as she is suddenly abandoned. "Ammy is being sad once more that she is being a Dragon instead of having the blessing of the Ever Changing One. She is feeling limited. Hrm...Limitations...Yes... Each of our Blessings has many of the limits...." Rishi headtilts, thinking. "....Your blessing of the elements gives you power over the woods, yes? The plants and the trees?" Rishi looks wistful again. "While I may be having the blessings of the animals and the humans, it is only my Sorcerer's Will that gives me any of the powers over the plants. My blessing has no power over them, much as I might be wishing otherwise. We are all having things we cannot do, much as we might wish otherwise." Rishi pulls them both into a hug, before helping them settle onto the couch with her.
Amethyst "You both are great." Amethyst says. And she considers Rishi's words. "I've... not really tried my hand at channeling Wood energy. But I imagine you're probably right. Maybe I oughta stop looking afar at what I can't have, and focus on what I can. As much as being able to do Sapphire magic like you would be nice, maybe I oughta hone my own magic and powers..." Amethyst suddenly realizes just how little she's spent on actually trying to use her innate powers as a Dragon-Blooded, and instead has been devoting nearly all of her resources to either A) Planning things B) Alchemy or C) Working stuff. "Maybe some time with those monks really would do me some good..."
Hoarfrost It does not take much listening of the conversation to piece together what the issue is. Giving a solemn nod but a warm smile on her face. "I would say focusing on the powers you have is the best approach. There is much you can achieve with them, you just haven't discovered it. After all Rishi has been exalted many year and only just now uncovered the Sapphire Circle. In time you will uncover the powers hiding deep inside you" leaning in she gives Ammie a kiss on the cheek.
Rishi And Rishi kisses Ammy's other cheek. "I am most successful as a weaver of flesh because that is quite natural for my blessing, so that is how I am helping people best. If I should be trying to ...punch the river in half, I would be most disappointed." she headtilts. "...though, I think I could be trying to drink a river now, but that is being most different..." she shakes her head. "Have you been trying to ...feel that which is being inside your materials as you are mixing the things now? Trying to become as one with your sources of power is the best way to understand your blessing."
Amethyst "I don't even necessarily need more than the reagents anymore." Amethyst says. "I understand alchemy the same was that I understand fluid flowing around me. It's quite easy for me to pour my essence into my alchemy, to do things faster, more effectively, than I ever could as a mere demi-fae. I can feel the fire in my strikes of my whip, and the air racing around me and through my mind as I do sorcery."

Amethyst slowly untangles herself from the limbs of her lovers. "Maybe what I really need, is just to be me again. To be in that form that I once held in Elderloch. Mm, if only I could hide it like you do your mutations." Amethyst looks towards Rishi. Amethyst grumbles. "Maybe that's one of my frustrations with being a Dragon. You Lunars get to look however you want, but I have an image I need to maintain. I can't go around looking like a complete wyld mutant or a fae anymore than, well, Rishi, you understand why. Even now some folks don't like my fins."

Hoarfrost "That sounds like a good start to understanding yourself." With Ammie standing Hoarfrost shits a little and rests her head on Rishi. Offering her a soft hello kiss as well on her cheek. "You are seeing the beginnings of the roots of your power. As you learn to nurture them they will grow with you."

Thinking for a moment she tilts her head. "We could make the mutations easier to hide?" The young witch offers as if that was always an option. "The changes would be more involved and take a bigger tole on your body, but I'm sure we can think of a way to hide them ... if you really want to." Not really sounding so sure about it her self.

Rishi Rishi headtilts and sighs. "...It is ...likely that we can make things easier to hide, slip them into small flesh pockets and such. Even as I admit the necessity, it saddens me that either of us have to hide the truth of our beauty, much less compromise it by lessening it." she sighs again. "....But I can truthfully say little against it, since I already figured out how to apply this technique for myself, since it was ...less painful than remaining in my old form or risking being attacked by others."
Amethyst Amethyst blinks. "...Right. Right!" And she continues on as she recalls. "The noble Raksha can grant the ability to conceal mutations to their servants, so they can better infiltrate Creation. All I need to do is for you two to do that." And then Amethyst grins at those two, a big stupid grin. "I could be either or, I could just... focus and change." It's as tho she's solved something that had been deeply bothering her.
Hoarfrost Hoarfrost shares Rishi's hesitation. Glancing at herself and wondering why she isn't in some mixture of forms. Wondering if she would want the same thing if her and Ammie's places where swapped. "If by 'we can grant the ability' you mean shape the mutations so they can be easily covered or enter into you. Then yes. It would not be a true transformation." The witch stresses wanting to make sure the scope of their ability is understood. "It would be no different than hiding them under glamor."
Rishi Rishi blinks. "Ah! Then you wish us to finally help you to gain your true self? To become as you are inside?". She smiles and then pulls a vial of flower petals from her satchel on the ground, pouring it forth as her Will shapes the essence of the world. The petals catch on the wind and water in the air, helping her give form to the formless. Soon there is a rather shimmery illusion of Ammy standing before them. "So. What changes would you like? I shall adjust the illusion to fit."
Amethyst Amethyst sighs just a little when Hoarfrost gives her a slight reality check. "Right, right. Concealment, not transformation. Not like the fae themselves that can just-- you know what, I'm getting too caught up on details. Why do I /want/ to be able to transform so much anyway?" And then Amethyst looks towards Rishi.

"Well, I /could/ just show you." A glyph on her illuminates

Hoarfrost "That is a fair question." Hoarfrost sits up. "Why do you want to transform so bad? Perhaps it is the fluid nature of water or perhaps a part of the fae self?" The witch offers not sure if stating it aloud even helps. "Or just something you want. I do not mean to undercut what you wish to be. Simply I do not wish you to regret what we make you."
Rishi Rishi says "If she has regrets, we can change her further... Though if you wish to transform solely to conform to society, I will humor you.". She watches eagerly as Ammy performs her own magic.
Amethyst The memory glyph is still part of her. The alchemist hasn't used it in some time, but here perhaps, it will be useful. And she gingerly goes over to Rishi, and places a hand upon her cheek. In her mind, a thousand stars expand into galaxies and patterns like nothing in Creation proper. And in particular, one star shines brighter. It zooms and focuses, and flashes. And there is a form of Amethyst not yet seen by Rishi. Translucent skin, slitted eyes, fins much more thorough than her current ones with legs designed for the water tho not a fish tail proper. And these beautiful purple-blue scales that dot her skin here and there. All completely naked too, as Amethyst had no use for proper clothes deep under the ocean.

And then the scene shifts, fading back to white and back to the nebula. There's a pause as the sorceress focuses, and then another vision. This of Amethyst but without any mutations, with only her aspect traits, which, of course, also means no pointed ears. There's a feeling of sorrow attached to it, but a sorrow born from neccessity.

And at last, that too fades back to white, and Amethyst, who was faintly glowing in the color of her anima, stops glowing and breaths heavily, leaning against Rishi.

Hoarfrost Hoarfrost has seen a similar vision before but is no less happy to see it again. The form Amethyst has wanted, the one she wishes to return to. Curling her legs against her and wrapping her arms about them she watches and observes what the vision has for them. Blinking back as her vision returns to normal. Glancing to Rishi, curious if it is now time to begin.
Rishi Rishi is surprised at Ammy's technique, but tries to commit the two forms to her memory before the dream ends. Once Ammy is done, she turns back to the illusion and starts redesigning it. Shortly, it looks exactly as Ammy once did. "I am being correct that this is how you once looked, yes? Are there being any other changes you would be liking?"
Once Ammy assents or requests further changes, Rishi applies them....then she walks around the illusion thinking, head tilted, before applying tweaks, little changes, adding muscles, making small hollows... She stops and looks at the legs closely hrming, before applying several changes to them.

Soon, she steps back, takes a look at Ammy's form, then boops it on the nose. The fins fold shut and hold close against the limbs like the wings of a bat, the joints on the legs snap back and fold to look human, the irises open up and almost look normal, her skin changes color and tone to look as she does now.

The only remaining signs of her mutations are a few small scales and her long pointed ears. "I will compromise your true self only so far. People know you and they know your ears and those who matter love both. Plus you would be most distraught without your perfect ears." and she leans over and kisses the tip of one.
Amethyst It's a little surreal being changed to be more fish-like while still on solid ground. But Amethyst doesn't interrupt it. Instead she goes around, asking for subtle adjustments here and there. But she makes no major changes to her overall shape or build aside from those mutations. It seems she's already quite comfortable with being the small-breasted tomboy that she is.

And then her ears fold a little as she realizes those are the only parts left to be concealed, and she sighs. Rishi's words don't exactly surprise her, but she has some of her own. "Tho I loathe to have them concealed, if I was to go into a place where those touched by the fae are not as well, it would pay to be able to hide them, if only temporarily."

Hoarfrost Hoarfrost works too. Her hands treating flesh like clay. The method she uses a bit different than Rishi's but no less effective. Knowing this form of Ameyth's well she could almost work on it without reference. There is much to do though, even with help. "I'm not sure ...." Hearing Amethyst ask for her ears to be concealable though brings her pause. "I know you wish it to be complete but even Lunars have something in them they can not change. I know I said it was not true transformation but consider this as well."
Rishi Rishi sighs, then looks over the illusion and says "...If you insist." The illusion of Ammy has her ears thicken slightly as they become slightly more mobile and then suddenly press back against her head, hiding their true length. "If that is to your liking, then we shall begin.".
She pulls over a bowl of juice from a nearby table and drains it in one gulp, before visibly concentrating. After a moment, one of her talons extends, slicing open the tips of each of her fingers, one after the other. Blood gushes forth into the bowl for several moments, before she pinches closed the wounds. She holds the bowl out to Ammy. "Drink".

f Rishi then works with Frosty, her hands also treating Ammy's flesh like clay, helping the transformative essence in her blood to move through and energize every part of Ammy's body.
Amethyst Amethyst watches as those ears on the model thicken, and then retract and spread out to look, normal. She considers Frosty's words, about how Lunars have a tell. Plus, the reaction she has to seeing those ears become 'normal', is to hold her own, almost protectively. There's a real conflict in her, whether or not she wants this. She remembers the wyld as it tried to rid her of the same thing, and how her essence surged forth, crying out in a grand show of might. And so she shakes her head.

"No. I think you're right." And then she grabs both Frosty and Rishi into a hug. "It's as rude to completely hide my fae heritage as it would be trying to pretend I'm not a Dragon. I will keep my ears just as they are." And she pokes /both/ of them with those ears, grinning.

Then she stands up and unfolds her varied mutations, showing off the final result. She's pretty unstable with her legs in swimming mode, but she's standing, and lovely.
