Hoarfrost The Glass Pig sits in a quiet corner of the temple district squished between two other much larger buildings. The outer walls of the adjoining buildings forming the inner walls of the restaurant's interior. The smells of slow cooked pork permeates the surrounding.

Hoarfrost takes a seat along a back corner, hopefully a spot more quiet that the others. She looks half acward or uncomfortable in her lanky human form, dispite her usual Lunar grace. Taking a deep breath in the new space she gets out a rather large tomb and sets it out on the talbe as she begins to read waiting for her guest to arrive.

Bright Journey Quiet is a relative term, when a place is bounded by brick walls every which way. Fortunately, it's a large enough spot (despite being pinned between the other buildings) that the room isn't loud as all hell during dinner! Still, it's not the most quiet spot ever, either.

As Bright Journey walks inside, she slips through the front door quickly and closes the door just as fast. Not that it's frozen or any such thing outside, but it can get a bit chilly at night this time of year. Inside, though, the place is warm and inviting. Good thing the smell of roasting pork is hella delicious, because it's fairly pervasive.

Bright Journey looks around and wastes no time heading to where Hoarfrost is sitting. Almost as if she knew Frost would be sitting in a back corner somewhere. She invites herself and sits down with a grin.

"Well! Hello, there, my dear. Thanks for keeping the table open for me."

Hoarfrost Old but venerable tapestries hung along the walls do their part to baffle the noise along with plush rugs to cover the old alleyway cobbles. Long infused with the smells of spices and cooking meat. A grouping of large pots in the center provide the slow cooked meats and a constant source of pleasant warmth. Pork curries and stews are brought to nearby tables allong with puffy flat breads.

Hoarfrost for her part drinks something deep orange and thicker than milk. Not noticing till Bright even sits down, the witchlooks up with a start. "Oh, ah-welcome. It wasn't much trouble. Anything to get out of the post-evening service crowds." managing an earnest smile despite the situation. Just happy to see a friendly face. "I admit this place smells amazing. I've not had much cuisine from the south." taking another sip at her drink. " So you wanted to talk magic? Anything in particular or just more theroy?"

Bright Journey Bright grins in earnest happiness as she settles in, resting her voluminous black cloak behind her, over her chair. She laughs lightly and peers at the drink in Frost's hands.

"Oh, my. I -was- going to go for tea, but perhaps something with a bit more kick will do well right now, and mayhap warm me up a bit.

"As for magic, well, we may have discussed it at great length already, but...well, at the time I was outside looking in. Now that I'm in the club, so to speak, I've had some insights--and I'm looking for more insights!--that simply weren't possible when I was still struggling to tie the underlying nature of social interaction to the underlying nature of Creation. I've figured out a couple spells and I'm debating how I'd like to apply this knowledge to Workings as well. It will be a long, long time before I'm ready to delve deeper, as well, but I feel the potential there already--not tugging, mind you, and I know better than to force it--but there, all the same. Waiting for a day long hence, I think."

Bright pauses to perhaps take a breath, and signal the local young, dexterous girl flitting from table to table. That, at least, takes no more interaction than a wave, beaming smile, and a point at that orangey looking drink.

Hoarfrost "I think this is mango?" Hoarfrost offers taking another sip. Brows furrowing as she tries to figure out what exactly is in the cup "I'm not entirely sure what else but there is defiantly something more." What ever it is seems to be assisting her unwinding a bit. For a moment there she looked like a wound up spring. There must be allot of what ever it is given what Hoarfrost is.

"It does give you a different outlook doesn't it? Having the ability rather than just the theory." a hand going out to touch the book beside her. The thing looks rather home made, glued and bound without the usual tools. Most of it looks like hand notes. "I'm happy to help how ever I can. Its good to have more of those with the ability to talk with. Rishi, Amie, and myself each have such a different point of view I feel like we all are able to learn from each other. You only add to that ability. So what is on your might Bright?"

Bright Journey Bright grins in reply and leans back, looking curiously at Hoarfrost. "Honestly, I haven't the slightest what's in there, but I know you're enjoying it. I think I will too. Just, y'know, try to keep the naked table dancing to a minimum." She chuckles.

"As for sorcery....yeah. It does. I needed that perspective to have this one, and I'll never forget it, but it feels like there's a great wellspring of understanding I can now tap into. I went back and reread bits of some of the books I'd read while trying to make sense of all this...and there's so much I didn't realize at the time. I'm not a writer, really, or maybe I'd try to make an easier to understand version. It wasn't...obtuse, really, but it feels like it was written without the total layman in mind.

"You're dead right about those different points of view, though. I've learned by far the most from you, of course, but we all know we can't even join the club without some sort of unique perspective. Perhaps -that- is a path to the next step. I know Rishi was trying to help you all along on that road. I know I am not yet ready for that, but like I said, I see that path off in the distance somewhere."

Bright lapses in thought for a moment, then looks up and offers the serving girl a quick but heartfelt smile as another one of those mugs is set down in front of her. She leans forward and takes a whiff. "Mmm. Yeah, I can smell the rum from here. Definitely not the kind of place where they water down your drinks."

With that, Bright picks up her mugs, motions as if to toast, and takes a deep swallow.

Hoarfrost "Naked table dancing?" glancing about to the other tables not sure if she should be expecting that kind of behavior this evening. "Ammie has been quite clear I have to be dressed when-oh I-uh" realizing now it was a bit of a joke and blushing. Very happy to have another topic to move onto.

"I have told you how I see magic. Energy stored in the roots of the world. Everything connected and alive." Definitely the shortest was she has described it. Rishi sees it the same, but it wasn't till I talked to one of our elders and learned form their prospective I was able to push through and obtain the next level. So if you are ever stuck I would subjest taking in as many new perspectives as you can till you hit one that resinates." Staring into her mug she considers for a long moment. "Sometimes I feel like I came back changed. Even the world looks a little different since I reached the second circle. It is just me, or at least how I see I suppose." something a bit distant in her voice, but quickly her smile returns. "I'm starved I think I'm going to have some of that curry." she says as the waitress arrives.

Bright Journey Bright is quietly chucking as she takes one more sip of her mango rum concoction. "Yes, my dear, you should be clothed when you...heh. Never mind." She flips a hand negligently. "On the other hand, this is Great Forks. You could cast a flight spell and copulate on the ceiling if you're willing to tell the guards it's part of your god's ritual." She pauses and grins. "Don't do that, either. But I was just talking about what happens when someone gets a little too drunk. I'm sure you understand."

Bright pauses and considers Frost's words. "Well. Talking to all of you certainly helped me. And like I said, I -know- I am not yet ready to take that step. Really, I want to try a few workings, learn a few more spells..." She pauses, thinking. "Actually, one spell I read about that I really should learn is the one that lets you send messages at a distance. It's a pain in the arse to get together to talk to you all the normal way, doubly so if Amethyst isn't around."

Rishi The door opens as Rishi slips in, wearing her human disguise. Her leather "cloak" hides her curves somewhat as she looks around, the motion making her waterfall of dark hair sway slightly. She brightens up when she sees the two of you and quickly joins you at the table, turning the chair around and leaning on the back.
"Ah it is being wonderful to be seeing you both again! What are we discussing?" She motions to the waitress for a mug of the same thing that the two of you are drinking.
Hoarfrost Hoarfrost can't help but glance at the ceiling. Smiling over her mug of mango rum, ruby eyes twinkling. "I think I understand now. Spend enough years meditating in the woods when your not bothered by the cold and you too will need correction on when and where it is appropriate to wear coverings and when its not. On the ceiling huh ... " the alcohol making it easier to be a little looser lipped

"Good fortune you asked me then. I taught her how to cast that spell. I would be happy to teach you in turn." Flipping her book to the page where she keeps her messenger notes. At Rishi's arrival she pats the bench seat beside her "Rishi! Its been forever. We are talking about magic!" voice a hair louder than she intended. How many rum drinks does she have in her at this point?

Bright Journey Bright starts giggling uncontrollably for a moment as Rishi walks in, and looks from one girl to the other. "Don't you dare do anything like that unless I can point and laugh." She snickers. "Amethyst might stop you, though. Don't blame her, she wants you two all to herself, I'm sure."

Bright takes another swig of her potent potable, though she is clearly not nearly so far gone as Frost might be. "Oh! If you already know it, fantastic. We should definitely compare notes then sometime. Though I think poor Frost might have had one or two before I got here." She gives Frost a cheeky grin. "At the rate we're going, Rishi, you may have to let her cast a flight spell on you. I'll let -her- explain what it's for."

At this, Bright starts giggling again, all but uncontrollably. Poor Frosty, being teased so!

Rishi Rishi nods sagely as she gratefully accepts the mug. "Ah! That is being one of my favorite subjects, aside from you and Ammy! We are teaching each other new spells now?"
She looks blankly between Bright and Ammy, before headtilting, her hair waving as she does so. "We are casting flying spells now? I could just be giving you both wings, if you are wanting them. They are most wondrous!"
Hoarfrost "I wouldn't dare ..." Hoarfrost tries to look the part of innocence. Though quietly almost to herself adds, "Without doing the math first." just as Rishi takes her seat. The witch instinctually leans in to the other. A pleasant amount of warm red in her cheeks.

"I was going to teach Bright how to cast an infallible messenger -and if you must know Bright it was five. It is very hard to get drunk when-well you know." she isn't drunk but close to tipsy is clear enough. A calculation running through her head she shakes it as Rishi mentions wings. "It would be too hard to maintain upside down. Maybe some kind of natural adhesive or stronger grip to stay on the ceiling? What would that be like a geko?"

Bright Journey Bright smiles, shaking her head, at Rishi. "No, it's got nothing to do with -how- you two are flying, it's..." Bright collapses into more helpless giggling, and it's all she can do to hold onto her drink. "Oh, gods, I can't believe I started this. Frost, you poor girl, I have done this to you and part of me is So. Not. Guilty. And, uh, part of me is, I guess. But you had five! Five! Gods, no wonder you're so drunk." Bright finishes her first drink, somehow managing to down the poor thing--and it is by no means watered down!--in between spates of giggling.

"Oh, dear me. Rishi, I'm sorry in advance if she..." Bright shrugs helplessly. "Eh. It's between you and her anyway. I'm not involved, aside from it being my fault." Bright laughs out loud and waves her empty mug at the poor serving girl.

Rishi Rishi headtilts as she looks up at the ceiling, absentingly taking a swig of her drink and brightening up at the fruity taste. "If we are to be walking on the ceiling, why do we not just change the direction of the gravity? Then we can be doing anything we wish without needing to worry about the falling! What are we planning to be doing on the ceiling though?"
Rishi is starting to be suspicious that they're making fun of her in some way and tries to bring the subject back to communicating. "I am also knowing the Messenger of Infallability spell, so we should be having little trouble to be showing you the casting of it, if you are wishing, Bright."
Hoarfrost Hoarfrost smiles up at Rishi as she tries the drink otherwise blissfully ignorant the laughter is at her and the situation. Simply pleased Rishi is also enjoying the drink"Right??" very pleased she apparently discovered this amazing combination of mango and rum and now has everyone around her drinking as well. Eyes following Rishi's to the ceiling then giving a sagely nod. "I considered effecting gravity like that but then everything and everyone one else in the room goes with you. I think half the point is to ..." nose scrunching as she looks to Bright and with a tone far too academic for such a question. "If a group is copulating on the ceiling is there point beyond the technical difficulty of the challenge?" as if she where now the sole official on the subject and making her definitely now 'involved'
Bright Journey At this, Bright just cannot take any more. She laughs out loud, once, and pitches her head forward only to catch it in the palm of one hand. She's clearly still laughing silently, but is so far gone she can't actually -vocalize- anything, just shake with mirth.

"Oh, gods above, Frost, you know I was -joking-, right? I wasn't seriously -actually- suggesting that you two and Ames..." She can't get the rest out, she's laughing too hard to breathe!

"I mean...seriously, if all you're doing that for is -technical difficulty-, fine, but I'd like to think there's a better reason..." She giggles again, unable to take Frost's question with the seriousness it really deserves.

Rishi Rishi flushes for a moment, then headtilts consideringly. "I don't think we need to reverse gravity just for that." She gives Frosty what she thinks is a lascivious look and says "Though I will be quite happy to be taking you flying later on." and she winks.
Rishi starts considering something. "Maybe I really should be summoning Mara. I'm sure her opinion on the relative merits of copulating on the ceiling would be quite interesting and instructional."
Hoarfrost The witch tilts her head back and forth as if she was not one hundred percent sure "I know Bright but you got me thinking about the ..." the embarrassment is finally starting to catch up with her a bit as she is blushing. "You know, the /mechanics/." squirming a bit in her seat now. Looking up to Rishi only for her to give such a look in return. Eyes wide like plates looking up to the bigger Lunar. A little squeak is all she can manage in response. "Yes please"

Realizing that was out-loud there is a panicked squeek as she buries her face in Rishi's shoulder. The Mara comment gets a louder more alarmed squeek.

Bright Journey Yeah, there's even more giggling, unbroken as Frost finally really gets why Bright is laughing so hard. She helplessly snerks at the 'Yes please' comment before squelching the latter as best she can--there's teasing and there's being mean, and Bright is clearly trying to avoid crossing that line. She does sober up a bit at the mention of Mara, though, frowning just a bit. "I, uh...I'm sure she could. But in your shoes, I'd think half the fun is figuring it out yourselves." She grins and shrugs as the serving girl gets a full round of mango rum punches for all three ladies. "And...well, you know my shoulder blades would be Silk's new saya if ever I even looked towards demons for much of anything. I'm afraid that if you two and Amethyst want to go that route that's on your own." She grins again. "But I -would- be grateful if either or both of you could teach me that spell. It'd make getting a hold of you all a hell of a lot easier."
Rishi Rishi's "cloak" wraps Frosty around and pulls her in closer to Rishi, in a warm and comforting way. "I'm not planning to 'do' anything with her. She just has a..." Rishi looks rather embarassed here "...depth of experience. In many areas. Where I am finding myself to be ...lacking. So, some formal instruction from an expert is being most useful, I am thinking."
"If I am doing the summoning, I shall make sure to be taking notes and drawing the diagrams of anything interesting she is telling us. You do not need to be telling Silk where you are getting them."

"But yes! The Messenger of Infallability! What are you wishing to know?!?"
Hoarfrost Hoarfrost now cursed with knowledge of what she said and to whom, leans out of the comphy Rishi cloak and turns the large book on the table around. On it much of her own personalized hand written notes on her own process for casting Infallible Messenger fill the pages, and a few more after that. Complicated calculations mixed with natural sciences. Some of these seem copied from elsewhere and mixed in with her own findings

"Y-your lacking?" the witch squeeks looking up. Realizing in another horrible too sober moment she was the one who had the most experience between them. Then takes a long drink from her new mug. "M-maybe I'll take you flying then." offering coyly, and perhaps more forward than usual. "Are you and Silk a couple then Bright?" realizing she does often see them together. "If your worried about her opnions on demons ... why does she dislike demons anyway?"

Bright Journey Bright looks at the two of them with a fond, small smile, no longer laughing. Not unhappy, mind, but a different sort of pleased all the same.

"Hey, I've nothing on who is taking who flying. Only things I ask are...both of you enjoy yourselves." She grins. "And second, no need to give me any details. That all is on you two alone.

"As for Silk....no. She and I aren't together. We've had that discussion, actually...I'm waiting for that special someone. Someone destined for me, someone I knew long, long ago. And she's not looking for anything permanent, I believe. As for why she hates demons? I don't know the details, but don't doubt that she hates them with a real passion. It's far more than mere dislike. I have never had a good experience with them, frankly, but it's more than that with her. I don't question it, to be honest."

Bright just shrugs and start in on her second mango rum punch. "I -would- like to learn the spell, but it can wait 'til the morrow." She chuckles. "I think you two have something else on your minds. My fault for teasing you, Frosty, but it was right in front of me. Couldn't ignore it."

Rishi Rishi headtilts, considering, then looks down at Frosty, blushes a bit, but turns to Bright first. "I believe the spell is in your basement library and I think it would be most wise for you to do more reading down there. And, once you are feeling clear on the theory, I am being certain that Frosty and I would be most happy to be helping you correct any problems you are having with the casting of the spell. I shall be messaging you tomorrow."
And then Rishi stands, picks up Frosty, bows to Bright and says "Thank you very much. I am being ...most grateful for this." and attempts to walk off carrying the smaller woman with her.
Hoarfrost Hoarfrost buries herself deeper in the cloak. Not about to give details. The story about her and Silk has her peek out a bit more though. Ears perking up a little. "Your waiting for your Lunar mate?" her voice full of a wonder like hearing a princess waiting for her prince(ss). "Thats so swee---eep!" she is lifted from the table. Drink still clutched in her hands as she is drug away. "Y-you can borrow my book I think I have to -uh bye Bright!"
