Amethyst It has been about a week since the war plans were plucked from Leviathan's Rest. But there hasn't been much rest in that city. One can see the troops going through more drills outside, but this time there's something about them, the absolute synchronization, the unflinching resolve, the way they move and act like clockwork rather than like an army. This is /beyond/ what a normal army can manage, but then again, one of the four generals is doing the training this time, the ruthless strategos Vain is in command. Fortunately, the drilling isn't close enough to the entrance to much worry about being spotted by them.
Silk Moon Lotus Silk has perfected her disguise for the trip. She has made herself a sleek red lobster looking Raksha. She appears as a member of the Ruby Court for sure. She glide inside the main enterance taking note of the general drilling the warriors outside and marvels at the difference a strong leader makes. She starts working her way towards the war room listening to the conversations that are taking place around her all the while appearing to belong.
Amethyst Seeing a Raksha in the halls has the effect of making the grunts steer clear, making way, and not daring to impede their path. There are other Raksha too, most of which just ignore your presence as you make way. The whispers around the edge of Silk's hearing are something like salutes, but also murmurs about Vain and how much they fear him. There's also bloodstains on the walls here and there. Finally are the murmurs of how Glorious is going to reward them for their service and about what riches await them at the end of everything.
Silk Moon Lotus Silk ignores the grunts who are clearly below a Raksha of the Ruby Court. She glides with the inhuman grace of a Raksha as she makes her way to the war room, hoping everything is when she left it.
Amethyst The War Room is just where it was before, but there's talking inside. More like yelling. "You have no proof for your accusations dear General." Comes from a shallow female voice that seems familiar

"Am I to believe that my men just happened to come down with some mysterious disease? What of the way you have been luring them away, out to the rocky outcrop?" This voice is sure full of his own self-importance.

The guards to the door look at Silk, but make no move to stop or question her presence. But clearly someone's getting dressed down in that room.

Silk Moon Lotus Silk glides to a stop before the door as though deciding if entering the room is truely the best option. She takes a deep breath and glides into the room she assumes the Princess and Glorious are having a conversation. She produces the papers she was planning to return from her belt pouch as she opens the door. A plan already forming in her mind.
Amethyst Perhaps to her surprise it is not Princess Maana who is being yelled at, but Precious Breath. She is flanked by two crabby guards standing before Glorious as his anima...?? This Raksha has an anima, a prismatic whirling void of one surrounding him as he's tall and proud. Glorious' face stares at the newcomer before continuing.

But as he opens up his huge maw, Precious Breath cuts him off. "I swore my allegience to Princess Maana. I would never dream of rising my own hand against her or against your kind. I am here to watch for spies and to root out those who would undo us from the inside out. If anything I would blame Vain, he has some interesting methods of controlling his soldiers doesn't he?"

One can /see/ Glorious' eye twitch in rage, a calm before the storm that's about to be unleashed. "You best choose your words carefully little girl, lest I skin you and leave you to hang as a warning to those who cross me." Precious Breath doesn't seem intimidated.

Silk Moon Lotus Silk bows in obeyance to Glorious. "My Liege, I apologize for interrupting. An agent of the Lady Precious Breath begged that I bring these reports immediately to the lady. They will show that Vain was planning to betray you to Elderloch. They include an copy of our attack plays.
Amethyst Precious Breath looks over to the newcomer, her face is inscrutible. "Finally." She sighs in relief. "Perhaps now you will give my notes a bit more creadence."

Glorious is absolutely stunned. The two guards flanking Precious Breath move away from her as Glorious thunders forward and grabs those very reports. "You best hope these offer some sort of proof, or you'll be just as dead as she will be." He sneers at Silk, squinting at the papers and reading through them.

Amethyst Glorious' demenor visibly sinks as he reads the papers. And without another he just /storms/ out. His guards make haste and follow him. Down the hall comes a "OUT OF MY WAY" followed by the sounds of flesh hitting the wall. One wonders how hard it would be to convince the grunts to switch sides.

This leaves Precious Breath and Silk alone for a moment. She lets out a big sigh of relief. Her expression was tough, but now it's obvious she was quite scared of what Glorious intended on doing to her. "Thank you, uh, I don't know if I've met you before. You just saved me."

Silk Moon Lotus Silk smiles "We have your ladyship, I am the shadowy one. Now, I need the lenses and the hearthdstones so I can complete the second part of my mission." Silk produces the replicas of the items in question from a couple of other pouches on her belt. "I do hope that he kills Vain. I am unclear how he exalted though, that will complicate things a bit for us."
Amethyst "Oh my, you really do have impressive disguise abilities. I'm going to go make myself scarce in case he doesn't kill Vain. I'm sure he'll try to kill me one way or another. Do you think it is safe for me to go to Elderloch?" She asks Silk.
Silk Moon Lotus Silk quickly swaps the lenses and the hearthstones she found last time and makes them disappear into verious pouches that should not hold them. "I believe they will accept you in as long as you are with me when we return. I will vouch for you. do you know an exit that will not take us out the front gate? That will be messy."
Amethyst One can hear yelling out front that's volume shakes the very foundations of the city. "I know many ways in and out. Follow me." Precious Breath says, leading them further into the city, and confusingly, into an abandoned storehouse. Up at the top there's an cargo door that she grabs and tries to push open, but to no luck. "Help me here." She tells Silk as she puts her whole body up against the door.
Silk Moon Lotus Silk reachs out a hand and touches the door. The locks holding it closed release with a small flash of golden light. Red Silk smiles at Precious Breath and gestures to the door "After you"
Amethyst Precious Breath blinks and nods. "Right. I've never had the chance to be graced by one such as yourself. Perhaps we should work together more often." She contemplates, leading the way forward. Through a winding tunnel, the pair come out the other side of the city, with nothing but open ocean. "I think you know the way to Elderloch better than I. You can go first." She says. "I'll keep my eyes out."
