Rishi After a lot of effort at preparing, compounding, distilling, summoning, and cleaning, three flasks sit on the large worktable in Ammy's backroom. Each contains a blend of Elderloch water and glows faintly in opalescent colors.
Ammy's large tub has been filled with cleaned water from Frosty's river and large containers stand by with even more. Rishi stands there looking around, head tilted, clearly trying to decide if there's anything left to do. A Neomah stands next to the tub looking at it curiously, their build similar to that of Ammy.

Finally Rishi turns and says "I think we are being ready."
Amethyst Amethyst stands looking over some of her notes, double checking formulae and staring at the flasks, the veins in her eyes violet from the drug that she so enjoys to use while working with sorcery. Gently tapping on one of the flasks she gives Rishi a nod.

"I think we are. Remind me though, what exactly is the plan here?" She looks between Rishi and the Neomah, then back to Rishi. "I'm still pretty curious what this stuff might do to someone who's not sure what form they'd like to take. Or if their form is less like this, " and Amethyst momentarily shifts back into her human form, "And more like this," And she returns to the merfolk form she's come to enjoy so.

Rishi Rishi nods, then says "Well, I am wanting to be giving my temple the waters that can be changing them into the person they are wanting to be, even if I am not being there. But...I am not sure of the best way. One of the ways is to just...be letting the person be deciding. One of the ways is to be binding a demon to be doing the deciding. And one way is to be letting the priests be doing the deciding, which means I will be needing to be training them, I am thinking."
"So that is being what we are testing. You will be going in the changing waters and seeing what is happening and I will be fixing you if there are being any of the issues. Are you being ready?"
Amethyst Amethyst takes a deep breath and nods. She removes her clothing and sets it aside, nodding at Rishi. Ears down with a little nervous smile, she says, "Alright, well, I suppose I'm ready. I feel a little like I'm venturing into the wyld. It's kinda exciting and also terrifying." She goes and sits in the tub, "Anything you particularly need me to do?"
Rishi "For the first test, try to be concentrating hard on the image you are having of yourself as you are wishing to be. Or...try meditating, so your dreaming self can be choosing what you are wanting." Once she's ready, Rishi pours the first flask into the tub and there is a puff of ennui scented steam and a bright paisly light as it starts working on Ammy, shifting and warping her body."
Amethyst The fae dragon nods and focuses. One can see her taking the reigns of her turbulent essence as her tattoo's evershifting colors slow and begin to shift with her breathing: slow, deliberate, focused. It doesn't take her long to meditate, to give herself over to the unconscious and quiet parts of her mind, the part she so carefully honed and trained while she was in Elderloch to serve as her bulwark against the twisting forces of chaos.

And now, ironically, it's in this state of mind that the light comes and envelopes her. At first her tattoos surge, singing brighter as the wyld in the water tries to mutate her. But then they subside as the more subtle forces of the magic take root.

It's at this moment that Amethyst wakes from her trance, growing wings and talons and scales and horns. She stares in utter fascination until at last the light fades and a being that looks more like a tiny dragon sits in the tub, and her face is full of confusion.

She stares, flexing her new clawed hands and trying to glance back at not just one but /two/ pairs of gossamer wings that twitch as she focuses on them. And of course, she's a lovely shade of deep violet.

"What in the name of the dragons has happened to me?"

Rishi Rishi has been tilting her head, eyes closed and smelling deeply as the magic takes shape. Once it subsides, Rishi opens her eyes, and muffles a smile. "I am being most apologetic, Ammy. It seems that the magic was working correctly...but, I am thinking that some part of you is wanting to be more of a dragon than you were expecting. I'll be changing you back in just a second."
Amethyst "I guess so!" She chuckles, ears perked as she starts to climb out of the tub, but then has a thought. Water drops are flung everywhere as her wings vibrate, and soon the wyrd little dragon-fae is fluttering at eye level with Rishi. She gently noseboops her, giggling.

Amethyst circles Rishi a few times, "I did wonder what it was like to fly..."

Rishi Rishi grins at her. "Flying is so very wonderful, is it not? Giving up wings was not being something I could be doing. If you are wanting to be keeping them, you certainly can be!" Rishi sweeps her into a huggle and boops her nose.
Amethyst "It's tempting, for sure." Amethyst says, giggling and hugging. "We could go flying together!"

"But don't change me back to my human self just yet. If you wanted to test how well your formula works for removing wyld mutations, this would be a good test, yeah? It should keep the features I want but remove those I don't."

Rishi "It isn't really being designed to remove mutions..." Rishi headtilts, considering. "But you are making the good point, if it is working properly, it should be removing the mutations that you are not wanting. The next potion is for testing to be using the demon to be controlling things, unless you want to be trying to control it yourself once more."
Amethyst "Mmm, let's have the demon try it." Amethyst says. She gives the Neomah a little grin and steps back into the water. "What's the worst that could happen?"
Rishi "Well, I am hoping nothing, but it is being best not to be tempting the fate. Still, you are having the point. This is a better test." She waves the demon to join you in the tub. "This next potion should join your mind to the demon to some degree, to communicate your desires."
Rishi pours the next potion into the pool where it glitters in all the scents of music, as the Demon concentrates. Ammy can hear what sounds like whispering in the back of her head.
Amethyst "Alright, I'll try not to tempt fate." Amethyst chuckles, sinking into the water and letting whatever magic is about to happen to her, happen.

Now the Neomah probably overheard the two talking about mutations and the adding and removing of them, but they would not be concerned about that, only about granting the form most desired. The subtle magic of the neomah grants insight into her perfect mate, but not necessarily what she wants.

And so the weaving begins, and almost all of her mutations are removed, including the wings and tail and even her ears become smaller and more normal though still a little pointed. And perhaps to the surprise of Rishi, Amethyst ends up looking almost exactly like Black Pearl's newly mutated self.

"...I don't think it did what we wanted it to." Amethyst shivers, "It took my wings! And my ears." And one can hear her distress in her voice as she hugs herself. "And I think I recognize these hands..."

"Oh gods don't tell me she made me into Salara."

Rishi ".....Hmmm..." *sigh* "You are being correct. If I am to be trying this with a demon, I'm going to be needing to be most careful with my orders." She shakes her head. "No, no, I'm just going to be having to do this." she stops. "It is going to be needing me for this...hmmm...oh. If I am binding ...yes, that should be doing it, yes!"
She hugs Ammy. "The testing worked! I am knowing what to be doing now! ...ah, right, let us be fixing you first and be making sure that it is working yes." She grabs the third potion and hops in the tub with Ammy. "Be opening your mind to your desires and I shall be trying to meet them." And she pours it in.
Amethyst Amethyst sinks deeper into the water, fully submersing herself this time as she leans against Rishi. She snuggles up to the larger Lunar, dreaming of her own ideal form, dreaming of the dragon that her subconscious wanted her to be: a shape that truly reflects her very soul.

Four gossamer wings, little glowing amethysts here and there on her body, with a larger one on a much more significant tail than her vestigal tail. Fins that can easily fold away for land and wings that can fold away for sea. All with a scaley armor that protects her and holds her close.

And as it's pretty hard to tell what gender Amethyst wants to be besides 'feminine', maybe, just maybe the ability to swap between genders someday, that might be nice for this strange dragon-blooded.

Rishi A feeling of warmth and connection sweeps through Ammy. A sense that you have been both seen and that you are valued comes with it. The warmth spreads through her body, changes following in it's wake. She can feel wings and fins returning, scales fine but strong growing and hugging her, body reshaping, tattoos being incorporated into scale patterns...new muscles growing. Everything...changing.
Amethyst The shifting dragon clings to her love as she changes, looking up with wonderment in her eyes. There's a smile that's not seen in Amethyst very often. Sure, she's jovial and good natured a lot of the time, but here she looks to be truly comforted, truly at peace and enjoying the moment. Away from all of the responsibility that's now rests upon her shoulders, away from whatever expectations and whatever plans she might or might not set in motion. No one ever said being one of the Exalted is easy.

But here she is with one of her lovers, and through the waters around her a new form is condensing onto her. She could spend forever here in this strange warmth and changing comfort.

Rishi "So...Is it feeling...right? Are you feeling like ...you are being yourself now?"
Amethyst Amethyst practically jumps out of the water and puts her arms around Rishi's shoulders, giving her a kiss on the cheek. She squeezes and nods. "I think, I think this is nice. Slowly but surely I think I'm making myself look like some weird mix between Dragon and Fae." She gleefully extends her wings. "Wait till the others get to see my new wings."

"I think having a priest or prietess behind the changes is definitely one of the better ideas you have for this. And it makes sense, all in all. An individual needs a strong sense of self to be given the body they truly desire. A demon is too alien to understand what people want. But someone you've trained to understand? They will be able to help shape things."

"And thank you Rishi! You're the best." She squeezes with her new strength.

Rishi Rishi grins, hugging her love back. "I am being so happy that you can be yourself now. Please be letting me know if you are wanting to be changing again." She pauses. "I think...I think you are being right, I am needing to be training them...but, I am thinking that it is still being the best of ideas to be including me in the process. So, I am thinking I am needing to be giving it a piece of my soul."
She holds up her hand before Ammy can object. "I will be most careful with it and...The One who is Many... That is not being simply a term for the One I follow. The gift I have been given, it allows us to be ...externalizing parts of ourselves. I know of ones like us who have turned their reflections into spirits or given life to parts of their bodies. My own shadow does as it wills, but the concealment magic prevents most from seeing just how impish she is being. I will be perfectly fine."
Amethyst Amethyst tilts her head at Rishi, "Just be safe, okie?" There's a serious look on her face, "I don't want anything bad happening to you if I can help it." And then she hmphs, "And after all the grief you gave me about what I did with my soul... I swear Rishi." She shakes her head, but doesn't say anything more.

"And now that I'm thinking about it, is it possible to, say, make me tougher? You can change my shape in so many interesting ways but could you, say, directly make my body better and tougher?"

Rishi "I was just wanting you to be the careful with it. But I promise I will be the careful too. I think...I think I can be detatching a small piece of my shadow and turning it into a conduit. My soul will be remaining the whole, but I shall always be part of the pool, able to be guiding and advising, no matter who is being using it. And I would be welcoming your assistance in doing the ritual."
Rishi headtilts, considering, then nods. "I can be reshaping the muscles, making them the bigger and the stronger...helping your lungs to be drinking in more of the air and your heart to be pumping the blood better...helping your body to be making more of the blood." she narrows her eyes a bit. "Actually, I should already be doing that last thing. I worry you may be casting the blood whip too of the often." she sighs "But, yes, I can be doing this thing. Though it is ...being hard on the essence of the body and it is not best to be doing it too much of the often, so that you can be getting used to it first."
Amethyst "Listen I drink tonics to give me more blood already!" Amethyst crosses her arms, "Or at least I think that's what they do. But I have enough blood, don't worry about that. Tho I won't say no to more."

"More muscles and better lungs do sound good tho. And it makes sense that you can't just suddenly make me as muscle-bound as a certain Lunar we know... Not that I want /that/ much muscles." Amethyst says.

"And... as long as you're careful and don't hurt yourself, you have my blessing. I'd be glad to be there with you."

Rishi Rishi pulls Ammy into another hug, wings spreading behind her. "Thank you. So. Shall I be giving you the lessons in the flying?" her grin is both cheeky and amazingly happy.
Amethyst "Flying lessons, is this gonna be one of those ceiling celebrations?" Amethyst asks, sticking out her tongue. "But yeah, I'd love to learn to fly!" And she giggles.
