Black Pearl	The Chateau of Resplendent Delights is just as decadant as before, with the lush restaurant and stage area, the apartments for narcotics and other drugs, the other chambers for other delights. But back in Salara's inner office, rather than the outer more public chamber, the setting is less gaudy and more focused on quality and comfort rather than visible wealth. The young Iselsi is seated at an upholstered chair next to a table of dark, varnished wood, with seats for others as well. She'd sent a letter to the Legionnaire requesting to talk, though not saying anything about what.
Tepet Makara	The dynast would arrive in the chateau once again thanks to the invitation of the Iselsi. Even if he seemed his usual self, it seems his eyes would indicate him being tired for his sleep was cut short recently. He had plans to visit a certain alchemist in the city to speak to regarding his problems, but that can wait for he has lot of time in his hand. "good day, I received your letter and came to visit. Thankfully, my Cynis commanders are too caught up with other affairs to even notice my absence" His expression would be bitter mostly due to the fact the monk would sometimes barge in to give him orders and mock him regarding certain topics. "Enriching Rainfall is currently away from Greyfalls, for he mentioned to me he was visiting Pneuma in the North again"
Black Pearl	"Well, I sent a couple bottles of better spirits than they normally have access to, which they were glad to accept from one of their House to cover a favor," Salara says. "But it is good to see you. And...I do hope to talk with your mentor again soon, for there are plans we should discuss. But what ofyou?" She tilts her head, looking curiously, "You definitely look tired, more so than most soldiers on leave...at least if they have not been having too good a time."
Tepet Makara	"regarding my tired state, I have been suffering nightmares a lot more recently. I vaguely remember experiencing it in the past before, but it returned in the worst way" The Tepet would say but then mention something regarding his dreams for it may be a hint but can't bit his tongue on it "I also realize some of those dreams aren't dreams at all, as one exalt mention one of them resembling memories of a past life" "although my mentor is not here, I'll explain why he assigned me to Greyfalls" He would cough as he continues explaining. "since House Cynis is a key ally to House Sesus, my orders were to sabotage any of their hidden activities. One of my first orders was to kill a mortal info broker of that house as they were on vacation, but well let's just say he was found dead in a nearby forest but many presume he fell from a great height even if there were no nearby mountains. Since the only conclusion they could make is it was the work of a "Metagapalan Hawk", nobody suspected a different culprit"
Black Pearl	Black Pearl ponders a moment, "Perhaps, but I do not think we Princes of the Earth have such past lives. It certainly could be. If you need assistance, I do have access to drugs that will help you sleep soundly...or dream more clearly. We can certainly assist there. And if you want to speak of the dreams, well...I can try to help comfort...or find omens in them." As he then speaks of the murdered info broker, she nods. "Aha. I /definitely/ need to talk to Enriching Rainfall, so that we can coordinate things, and we don't assassinate someone the other wants still alive." She smiles slightly, "And a great fall? I suppose...I suppose you can take the form of a large flyer then? I could ask Rainfall, and he might tell me."
Black Pearl	Black Pearl says, "But what are you looking for? What can I do tohelp you help my House?"
Tepet Makara	"I can take the form of a pterodactyl especially since its part of my chimera form besides a komodo dragon. It's also the form I use whenever I travel but I only do so at night and land in places where there are no witnesses" Makara would chuckle a bit regarding the Sesus broker's cause of death. "when he comes back, he may take a visit here himself to further to discuss your plans. But he has also allowed me to create a secret warband to strike at Greyfalls when the time is right but I still have yet to do so. When the Realm Civil War strikes, Greyfalls would be vulnerable" "but speaking of Enriching Rainfall, I am starting to suspect his reasons of sparing me from the Wyld Hunt in the North is not just our of mere pragmatism" Makara mentions as he realizes something about the water aspect monk as he has been hiding something from him
Black Pearl	Black Pearl shakes her head. "He wants assistance in the coming War. And I want to talk with him to see how these plans can be made more effective. Or even if we want to try for more than our current objectives. As for a warband...far easier to do it, if you get those you nominally lead loyal to /you/, and not to your rank and position in the Legions." "And I will continue to keep the East's Hunt away, which is my pergative. Unless things get too...public to be contained in the city and the Realm is forced to take official notice."
Tepet Makara	He would give a nod to Salara regarding who he will recruit in the warband. "There are a few legionnaires that are more loyal to me than House Cynis so that's a start. I plan to recruit some of the Nuri people in Greyfalls who are not happy with their occupation despite most of them being loyal to the Realm and whoever holds Greyfalls. I'll think of a way to eventually expand it's ranks" "But I will keep my best to hide my secret away from the Wyld Hunt in order to hide our plans under their noses."
Black Pearl	"Of course...and how do you expect to do that? Of course, I can ensure that no information of these plans goes from the Eye to the Order or the Hunt. And beyond that...what do /you/ want?" Salara looks serious with the question.
Tepet Makara	"what I want huh?" Makara is in deep thought on what he /exactly/ wants but there is indeed something he has in mind that has he yet to tell. "this may seem impossible but I hope my house may support the Iselsi once the Realm Civil War indeed breaks out. My house barely has allies nowadays ever since Futile Blood almost broke us completely and most of the Great House even admittedly Vneef think our time will be up soon as we suffer the same fate as House Akiyo, the former rulers of my house's prefecture. Even if most Tepet are still loyal to the Realm, their despair may drive them to other paths...such as allying with your house. I do not care what means for my house to survive, but I am willing to help your house sit on the throne" He remains quiet after this even if such alliance is impossible...well at first glance for his house is on the brink of being dissolved or worse, be massacred like the Manosques.
Black Pearl	"I...do not know if Iselsi will allow it. What we want, at least officially, is to destroy the other Houses in retribution for what they--you--did to us when the Empress disappeared," Salara says in return. "As for myself...if we have enough other allies--not just your House, but so-called Anathema--we might pull it off, to sit on the throne. But...I do not think they will support us without some very...severe requirements."
Tepet Makara	"I see, if you plan to work with other Anathema besides me, I hope some of them would join our cause even if it seems difficult especially since the Immaculate faith brands us as monsters that should be slaughtered....no matter how they became one" Makara would say as the other obstacle in the plan would be the Realm's state religion itself as he believes doing something about that problem could be a key in having more exalts join their cause. "but anyway, I plan to visit an alchemist later but I will get in touch soon and Enriching Rainfall will visit. I will also tell information in Greyfalls if I discover something that may be of interest"
Black Pearl	"If it is Amethyst, well, we are very close. She knows who and what I am, and she will keep your secrets as well. And as for others of Sun and Moon, I do know some. But I need to know what my Hous will accept in terms of Anathema influence should they help seat one they know and trust on the throne. Maybe they will not agree, and just keep at the Vendetta."
Tepet Makara	"ah you know of them? good to know. Not surprised if you have meet other lunars around here as well. Enriching Rainfall should arrive in two weeks after his visit to Pneuma. He should not be preoccupied after that so we can discuss our plans further. Anyway, I got to go for I will need to talk to the alchemist regarding my dreams and hopefully it's not an omen for something malicious" Makara would say his farewells to the Iselsi as he heads for the alchemist next to deal with his sleepless days of suffering nightmares.
