Amethyst Great Forks, known also Decadence, is always quite a sight to behold. Everyday a festivel of some sort, the crowd hosting both mortals and spirits and god-blooded. An endless amount of folks going about their business, trading, exchanging, talking and conversing in the myriad of streets and places in this incredible place.

And one peculiar Dragon-Blooded sort is going about collecting ingridents here and there for whatever crazy project she's working on. But her elven ears show a sign of another heritage, as they move about and shift and swivel towards sounds and that which captures her interest.

Tiziri Another day, and more travellers and caravans arriving. Just a day in the life of an important city like Great Forks. Amongst those coming today is a young looking woman with bluish-brown hair, carrying a spear and moving with a sort of confidence despite how Ardent Vagabond is looking arouns with a wide smile on her face and eyes even more wide. For the moment, she seems intent on looking at the various street food vendors - one needs to eat after all! Eventually she ends up stopping in a place where the traffic of people is less intense, a pensive look coming to her face.
Amethyst A brief resprite from the crowd is always welcome. Amethyst finds herself at the very same vendor, stretching and yawning, her colorful tattoos shifting from one color to another to another in an endless cycle. Her ears are held out to the sides she contemplates the menu and fishes around in one of the many pouches on her belts.
Tiziri Ardent Vagabond looks over to Amethyst and says "Have you tried the noodles here by chance? I've always liked fried noodles like that." She looks back to the booth and then addsm "But if there's something else interesting I'd be open to suggestions." Her accent has a definitely air of one not from the Scavenger Lands at all, but someplace far away (Southwest, if such might be recognized). "I do love learning local specialties."
Amethyst "I'd go for the egg balls myself." Amethyst replies. She finally finds what she was looking for and produces a little silver coin. She looks towards the folks manning the stand, "Egg balls for everyone!" Egg ball is almost certainly not the right word. Her accent is harder to place, it sounds like it could be southeastern but it could also be something else.

And that coin she put down is definitely enough to get everyone at the stand the food she asked for. And the folks behind the counter? They look kind of bewildered.

Tiziri "Oh?" Ardent Vagabond says, then grins as the money is put down. "Excellent, thank you." She steps slightly to the side then, to obseve things get made. "Any other places you'd suggest going in Great Forks? Good inns? Tea Houses? Temples? Bathhouses?" She asks of Amethyst as the wait for the food begins. "It's my first time here, so I'm looking forward to seeing what it has to offer, and relax a little bit. It's been a long trip.
Amethyst "I can show you around a little if you'd like. There's this cool little alchemy shop run but this cute little Dragon-blooded. I heard she's kinda crazy but really good at what she does." Amethyst grins, "My name is Yim Aemtis, what's yours?"
Tiziri "Tiziri." The young woman responds, "Though I've been going by Ardent Vagabond a lot the last couple years. Someone called me that at a roadside inn and I loved the ring, so it stuck. You have to like when a poetic name comes about that just works, right? It's like something from a story! And as much as I've been traveling lately, it really does fit."
Amethyst "I have a name or two like that." Amethyst says, nodding. "I do admit that being a Dragon-Blooded is a little like being in a story. It's full of excitement and danger and sometimes snatching life from the jaws of death!" And she's practically acting out her sentence. "...But you probably wouldn't know much about that." She takes a finger to her chin.

"So where would you like to go first?"

Tiziri Tiziri's eyes widen at that, "Oh, wow. I bet. Chosen of the Dragons are the heroes of the age! Of course you'd be given such things. I'm just a mediocre martial artist of the spear working as a caravan guard to get to see as many places as I can." The young woman responds. With her food now delivered she takes it and starts to eat, sighing softly after the first bite. "Anyways, where would you suggest? Ideally nothing too far from here."
Amethyst Nibble nibble nibble. She starts into her two 'egg balls'. She thanks the street merchant and hmms. "Well, do you want to get some rest, get clean, get high, or get some fire oil?" There's this almost maniac grin to the alchemist's face. She giggles just a little as she starts walking towards... somewhere, even before Tiziri got a chance to answer.
Tiziri Tiziri raises a brow, looking a little bemused. "Not sure what I'd do with Flame Oil. Or even what it is." She says with a little grin. "So that's probably not the first place I'd pick. But high? Drunk? Tea? Baths? All pretty good if you ask me." Another bite of her food, precided by blowing on it, but for the moment following along.
Amethyst "To the Chateau of Resplendant Delights!" Amethyst says happily. "I know the owner, so I can get you a good discount on all you could want. And it's got /everything/ you could want. Including some drugs I designed myself." She grins as she happily and abruptly starts walking in the /exact opposite direction/ then she was going before.
Tiziri Tiziri grins at that, "Oh, I liked the sound of that place. And, everything? Now I'm almost worried." Despite the deadpan way she delivers that she has an impishly giddy sort of look on her face. She has slung her spear to her back with a sling of sorts and is otherwise working on eating now. "Anything special you recommend there?"
Amethyst "There's a lot you could choose from. I like Bright Morning myself. Want some? I tend to keep some on hand for sorcerous reasons. Seeing spirits is useful." Amethyst says as she walks. "Otherwise just about everything on the menu is good and there's all sorts of choices to make when it comes to alcohol. And there's ahem, other services too." She giggles.
Tiziri There's a weirdly strange look at the sorcerous talk, followed by a certain shying away or something. But soon enough she's looking wondrous. "Wow! Seeing spirits? I knew the Scavenger Lands would be something else. I'm used to the boondocks! This is probably the biggest city I've ever been already!" Back to acting the rube it seems.
Amethyst Amethyst swivels an ear at Ardent. "You're not very good at pretending, you know." Amethyst chuckles. Reaching into a different bag she produces a little purple vial, and she offers it to the traveler. "Just be careful with it, yeah?"
Tiziri Ardent Vagabond blinks a few times as she takes the vial being offered to her, a slight blush on her face at something. Then a bit of a stammering, "Y-You see a lot of weird things when you're traveling." Her words come out quickly, "Especially from down by the Dreaming Sea, But most still don't like hearing about things like that. Always good to be safe."
Amethyst "I don't have anything to prove to most folks." Amethyst shrugs. "Sorcery is one the less weird things you see here, though I wouldn't go around the blessed isle bragging about sorcery."

"I'm from Champoor so you should guess I've seen my fair share of wyrd things myself." She wiggles her ears.

Tiziri "Champoor?" Tiziri sounds surprised. "I always felt a little bad about not going that way. I saw Ember, but never managed to get to Champoor. So much back in the Dreaming Sea area could be wonderful, but I've let the wind guide me, so to say, or really just whatever jobs open up. Can't afford to travel everywhere on my own. But if someone needs an extra guard to work my way? I'm for it. Thankfully haven't seen too many attacks in my time on the road."
Amethyst At last, the two arrive at the brothel-dining-drug den-bath that is the Chateau. It's quite the impressive sight.

"You're pretty lucky then. I haven't done much guard work myself, but I drew my second breath only after I came here to Great Forks searching for my missing father. Still getting used to everything, but things are going well for me. Anyhow, this is where I'll leave you. I have other business I need to attend to today, but if you're ever in need of an alchemist," And she produces a little card, "My shop's open for you. Well met, Tiziri, and if anyone asks you can say I sent you here." She grins with her ears perked up.

Tiziri "Don't get me wrong, there's been a few scary times. The fact I don't have armor makes it worse, a single arrow and I'd be in trouble. thankfully, I had a good spear teacher." She takes a deep breath and nods. "But that's what I was being paid for too." Now that they're at the Chateau, the relaxation and fun can begin! Small talk about life in the Southwest. Talk of good tea houses on the route, interesting food. That likes! the card and house is taken happily, and she says, "I'll keep it in mind, thank you so much!" Otherwise, decadence begins!
