Raullaur The weather is hot and muggy. Humid and filled with mosquitoes. The only saving grace for the lionmen is that their fur keeps the insects from biting. Much. Raullaur is stalking the streets, ears back, and rumbling at the humidity, dressed in his casual linens and leather.
Fudou the Mountain Fudou has no problem divesting himself of garments when need be. Must be a Lunar thing. There are certainly some known to run around stark naked but he's got a bit of modesty or at least shame in regards to that. At leat out in these streets. There are..rumors..no doubt. Especially in a city like Great Forks and it sometimes doesn't take much to coax him into dropping the 'modest' act..

But that's not here or now, no doubt something the Lion men are thankful for. He's dressed down in garments he's usually seen in. Titanic physique quite exposed but with his rope belts, shredded garments more decorative then anything. And he watches the streets, drapped across a rooftop boredy until he sees Raullaur prowling the area.

A moment later and he's dropped down, using the sides of a building to support his incoming advance and then landing in the streets infront of Raullaur like an avalanche of sinew.

Tiziri Tiziri is wearing loose, almost gauzey robes right now, they look pretty nice for this weather. Light, airy, but enough to cover the skin from sun and bugs too. Though she still has her spear draped over her shoulders. Indeed, right now she has a headscarf as well, something to help protect the head as well! Her steps seem to take her towards a booth making flat bread in a dreaming sea style manner.
Tepet Makara After putting his armor in a safe place back in his apartment, Makara wears far more casual yet comfortable robes to withstand the heat. This weather makes him miss the freezing chill of the North. "Damn, it's like when I was in the Southwest" Makara mutters to himself while looking at the hot sun above.
Raullaur The sudden drop of someone in front of him has Raullaur take a step back and brace himself, claws out, before he recognizes the massive person who's dropped in his way. "Well...." his growl is deep, but fades back to a lighter tone. "How are you today, Mountain?"
Fudou the Mountain "Good!" Fudou remarks, cheerfully.

"I saw you and was bored and so decided to amuse myself by talking to you."

He reaches forward, unbothered by the claws, intending to drape his vast arm around Raullaur and let it great weight and his own strength bow the lionman towards him unless he attempts to resist, like some sort of annoying jock without a sense of personal space.

"I need someone to brag to and to seek advice from." he rumbles while leaning in and grinning like some sort of maddened siaka. "Whatddya say. I'm sure I've given -you- good advice before after all..."

As of now he does not take note or see Tiziri or Makara.

Tiziri Tiziri manages to pay for her order and then turns to look out over the square in time to see a few pretty impressive figures that are very hard to miss. Familiar ones at that. though right now? Tiziri just seems to watch for some reason, maybe because holding her flatbread and lentils while holding her spear too. So for now? She watches.
Tepet Makara Seeing as the two are busy talking to each other, Makara sees Tiziri mostly watching. "Hello, I see the two are currently talking about something" He says with boredom yet at the same time irritation thanks to this heat.
Raullaur Raullaur chuckles. "Well, bragging is a lot of fun. To do it properly needs enough to drink. But that can come later." Raul does indeed go against Fudou and snorts slightly. He's fairly strong himself, but for the moment, best to keep going aoong. "What sort of advice? But first...brag! I need to hear a good story, and you need to celebrate!"
Fudou the Mountain "I faced our friendly giantess in combat and defeated her. As you can see I'm none the worse for the wear and she's..she's fine."

Fudou releases Raullaur and slips away. It was meant as a jokey gesture but really hugging sweaty matted lion fur isn't on his list of things to do.

"I have some thoughts." he rumbles, "She's not evil. But ..she is not good either. Amoral perhaps, would be a way to describe it. If her abilities pose a threat to us it's not beacuse she wills it - unless she would choose to and that makes her no differnt then any of us. It was...well...if it was anyone but me I think it would have proven a problem and I think she under estimated me and will not do so again. Still.. I do not think we need worry about their ilk being around. At least yet..."

Tiziri Tiziri nods to Makara, "So it would seem." She says, "Hard to miss a meeting like that. It might be portentious, somehow." She notes, scooping some lentil curry up with her bread and biting at the chunk. "Or it could be merely conversation. Such is the way of these things. Yes? But truly, very hard to miss them." Another scoop and tear done. Then she looks over and muses, "Well, if what I think I just heard is what I heard... Portentious might be the name of the game."
Tepet Makara "Yeah, it's probably a normal conversation or usually about the current affairs of the city. But for me, I hope to get rid of some brigands that harm traders in the Far east" However Makara has something in mind he hopes to address. "Say, are you familiar with sorcery by any chance?"
Raullaur Raullaur hmmphs. "Maybe. That just makes her a weapon, though. HOpefully she finds herself, then. So...as for worry?" He shrugs. "Power is enough reason to...be cautious, if not worry. So..." He shrugs. "But yes, congratulations." He grins. "I might be a tough nut to crack, ut I don't know I could hit back hard enough to do things. So...that's the brag...what advice is it?"
Fudou the Mountain "A weapon? To be used by who? Any more then we were against the Demon Lords according to what I've been taught, at least.." notes Fudou. "I don't think it's enough to call her a weapon unless you want to call yourself one. If she can determine her own choices and her own will she's more then that."

He rubs his jaw, "Power.. do you have it? I do. I daresay I could do a lot of damage here right now if the whim struck me. Could you stop me? The strong should lead the weak. We have power. The Dynasts have power. Is that enough to measure someones worth? I wonder.."

He considers this thoughtfully and then rumbles, "Hmm...yes we've never quite tested hwo tough you are have we? You've avoided me with that!" He reaches out to poke a huge finger against Raullaur's chest, "I suppose we did exchange a few hits once but...well anyway. I seem to have convinced her to take me to Malfeas that I might seek a boon from Isidoros if I'm able to get his attention.." he grins, "That sound like a bad idea or a good idea?"

Tiziri Tiziri continues to eat, it's going quickly though. "that generally isn't something one tends to talk about in public." The spearwoman says a bit more softly. "I... am, as an explorer, familiar with many things though." She states. Then she's looking towards the two very obvious ones even more carefully. "Yeeah, OK. Portentious, but I'm not sure I like what I'm hearing quite yet." She explains.
Raullaur "Why am I a weapon? I'm not amoral!" Raullaur laughs heartily. "/That's/ why I say she's a weapon. Not anything else." He nods and thinks a moment.

"If that's all there is, then..." He shrugs. "Then keeping slaves is fine, right? They have no power. The slaveowners do. That's what the guild thought when they captured my people." He bares his fangs, "I showed them I had more power than they did, and they died, and my people live and are free. Yes, I rule them, but still..."

A grin on his face, "My guess? It ends up with us both exhausted, and neither of us have made much headway against the other. But as for this..." He frowns. "I don't know Isidoros, but Malfeas?" He flicks an ear and narrows his eyes. "....Why? What boon seek ye? Have you reckoned the cost? Because if this Isidoros has power--power enough that /you/ want to seek a boon..."

Tepet Makara "Was mostly curious and of course there is only four of us here despite being a public place" He sighs out of relief as there are a few of them here. "Well I usually hide my sorcerous capabilities even from uhh dragonblooded even if disguised due to stigma unless you are a fertility sorcerer. I learned uhhh a much less savory one not from someone, but from my own past life"
Fudou the Mountain "What difference does it make if you claim a form of morality or not?" questions Fudou while arcing an eyebrow, "You fight for something. A sword swung by a righteous hand is still a sword. A sword swung for its own sake is still a sword."

He shrugs though, frowning mildly and then says, "She has argued something like that. NOt that it's right but rather that the slaves are slaves because they lack the will to rise up and wait for someone to free them. Do you agree?"

He then frowns thoughtfully and then grins a little bit as he dwells on the idea of them both ending up exhausted.

"Tire each other out eh? Are you sure? As to...Isidoros.. He is the strongest of the demon lords. The Black Boar That Twists the Skies. We are like gnats to him. Less then. He might not even notice us or care to. But perhaps if I can pluck a strand of hair, so to speak...."

As to the privacy - Well Fudou clearly doesn't care. Such is his nature. HE figures that mortals with prying ears would see him and elect to not listen to closely and if they do and care to make something of it..well..he's known to have an ego.

Tiziri Tiziri looks over at Makara again, just shaking her head and saying very softly, almost directing her voice to just Makara. "Let's just say I'm very aware, and versed, in such things. I've studied with the greatest living teacher after all." She smiles weirdly at that. Then says, "OK, now I really need to know more about this. Because the few bits I've made out I need to know more now, and why." She quickly finishes her remaining bread and lentil curry, then gestures as she picks up her spear. "Come, let's go find out what's going on."
Tepet Makara In a more hushed manner so no random mortal can hear, Makara begins speaking his concerns. "Well actually, it's sorcery's much more darker variant. People in the Realm would distrust sorcerers, but necromancy is a different story. Last time, me and some exalts went into a tomb that used to belong to my past incarnation. We fought my past life's student and even slew a monster. After I got my past incarnations armor, It seems I inherited some of his more unsavory knowledge."

"At first I don't want to use it at first mostly because I don't want to be like my old self, yet at the same time I don't want to waste it. I'm admittedly lost when it comes to that concern"

Raullaur Raullaur laughs. "Will? No. If I only had will, I would have died." Fangs flash. "I needed all my will, but it was power where I lived, and triumphed. So no. Will is not power. It's needed! But it's not all you need."

A snort. "All right. Taking something from him...that makes more sense. But think! Power changed you. Power changed me."

He pauses a moment more, "More power will change you again. How? Hell if I know. Changes what you want? No idea. So...is it a risk you're willing to take? Cost you're willing to pay? If not, this is a horrible idea. If so? It might still be a horrible idea--might be good."

At this point, Tiziri and Makara are starting to come over and he pauses, giving a nod as they get within conversation range. "So...it's not something I would do. I don't know what this Boar is like, and there are costs I won't pay for power. There are things I find more important."

Fudou the Mountain Something strikes a cord with Fudou and he actually has no reply to Raullaur. A rarity as he's usually not short of something to say if in the mood. But now he pauses and rubs his jaw thoughtfully.

"Hmm.." he rumbles, consideing the Lion Man carefully but then he turns and seems to finally take note of Tiziri and Makara.

"Ah..an audience!"

Tiziri Tiziri takes a deep breath and reaches up to squeeze her nose and just says, "It seems there's a lot I need to mention to my teacher today." She has a long suffering sort of tone to her voice. "I do hope you know I'm very much her agent? Yes?" She asks of Makara. "I mention it in case there are things you don't want her to know of." She continues on her path towards Fudou and Raullaur. Then says "Salutations. I feel like I overheard something concerning about a potential... destination? I didn't quite make out details, but..." The young woman seems to be extra serious, her head tilting to the side slightly, almost a bit too far in a rather avian sort of fashion.
Tepet Makara "Oh you have a shahanya? I wonder who it is? I have a mentor myself although he is not a Lunar. But better than my past life's student as my shahanya at least" He doesn't want to imagine what happens if that was the one who discovered him first when he exalted. "A destination? to where?"
Fudou the Mountain Oh -- he's starting to recognize 'that' look. Fudou's expression waffles between mild annoyance and looking like his hand was in a cookie jar.

"Hrm..I suppose you would advise against such a journey.."

He then grins "And Makara.. Our friend who tells all what's on his mind when he first meets them. This is quite the crowd. And unusual gathering and one by which maybe I will keep my secrets to myself lest I be verbally chastisied."

Raullaur Raullaur chuckles. "I'll let the Mountain say what he will of it. For myself?" He shrugs, "I think heading farther East would be best. To find a place to exercise power the way I wish to. But that can be another time..."
Tiziri "Caution is my advice. Preparation, perhaps working with one who could truly guarantee safety through ancient pacts." Tiziri says to Fudou. "Though yes, I do see it as a bit unwise." She adds with a little grin. Before looking back to Makara. "He is wise, you know. Especially among those who do prefer some semblence of anonymity. But yes, someone quite important whose name I will not repeat here for that reason."
