Tepet Makara	Even when in leave for Great Forks, Makara doesn't waste his time for he has been practicing his weaker skills just what his mentor told him "Mastery of the basics of battle prove ones superior prowess" He mutters to himself this personal mantra everytime he throws the spear to the dummy target. But of course practicing all forms of warfare takes time however he has only been doing this to ease troubles in his mind "Damn you brother, what are you up too lately?" There is a letter in the bench which is a response from his brother, even if they are words, it is filled with arrogance and contempt. The letter from his brother goes like this "You late hatching dragon have the nerve to ask me to stop. You question my means of gaining wealth when all other houses do so as well and yet you wallow in decadence back in Greyfalls. Did the Cynis parties rot your mind? You are just like our parents. Do me a favor and don't try to stop me, this is for the good of the Iasomul household"
Serene Herald	Perfect Question has come to the arena, working with a wooden training sword, and is doing well enough: a trained ameteur, it seems. Strange for a scholar. But he moves easily enough, at least until he moves too close to a target and a javelin *thwocks* into it. A whirl to face where things are coming from, and he sees the Tepet winglord, and gives a courteous nod. "Apologies. I did not think I was so close!"
Tepet Makara	"Oh I didn't see you there! I was busy throwing my javelins and me whispering a battle Mantra from myself didn't help either. I see even if you are a scholar, you are practicing the art of battle. My mentor once told me to never over rely on skills, like how a skilled swordsman is useless without a blade if they are in a fist fight. I'm admittedly still learning javelins and I have yet to practice archery" "Out of curiosity about the last time we meet, what did you mean by commisions?"
Serene Herald	"You must rely on skill and equipment. But you have greater control over your skill, I have found," Perfect Question replies. "So the Swordsman's mistake is relying on his blade when he finds himself without it. He needs to rely on all his skills, not just the one with the blade." A different perspective. "Of course, this is not to contradict your teacher--for your teacher you should follow, and learn the truth of what is taught...and how to learn the truth of what is not taught." A smile. "Commissions? Well, if you have a question that a scholar, philosopher, or stargazer can answer, ask, and for an appropriate fee, I will put my skill to work on your behalf."
Tepet Makara	"A stargazer? You mean an astrologer? I am indeed curious on how it works but the problem is what should I ask for. It could be asking about whose my future lover or when I get a massive amount of fortune!" He jests on the last part as he chuckles but shifts into something more serious. Jokes aside, I'm admittedly curious on finding out someone close to me on what they are doing. He is not present here since he's back in the Blessed Isle. I have been concerned about him lately and what his actions may lead to"
Serene Herald	Serene Herald hmmms. "This could be a problem. Distance in separation from the reading can make things harder. But closeness of relation may offset that." He thinks a moment, "Tell me what you can--in a better place--and I will consult the stars, and see what is written in the night sky."
Tepet Makara	"Hmm sure, I have a letter written by him although I don't know it will help. The person who I'm curious about is my own brother, Tepet Iasomul Serrel." But when it comes to the topic it has to be in night time and a correct place, he nods. "At night and a better place, Hmm I'll allow it. I wonder if there is spot here in Great Forks that may fit"
Serene Herald	"A tall building. Or better yet, a place away from the city where the only lights are those of the skies are best. I have a kit of equipment to ake masurements and notes, and then to translate things," Perfect Question says. "Very well, your brother. And...forgive me, but...no sister? Mother? Aunt, or Cousin to guide things? It is your brother in charge?"
Tepet Makara	You mean him being in charge of the household? He is since the Iasomul household is small since there are only 20 members left while there are only 5 dragonblooded including me. We've been accused of being thinblooded by even other Tepet households and blamed our outcaste founder whose the survivor of an extinct Northwestern gentes. My aunt was the one in charge but choose my brother as the next head even if the usual is female, since she hopes his Spiral Academy experience may ascend the household so it may be on par with the Berel and Vergus household. I am concerned with the direction of the household thanks to my brother" "That wad a mouthful. I wonder what's going on with him since this isn't how I remember him. I hear has recently been extorting patrician and peasant families of their money in Lord's Crossing which concerns me greatly"
Serene Herald	Serene Herald hmms. "All right, I can see that. And you worry that it will bring attention, and others to work ill against your House in retaliation. If you give me the times and locations, to the best of your knowledge, I will work my best. Obviously you do not have them here...perhaps a week from now? And then, after initial calculations, I will make my observations, and see what I will find."
Tepet Makara	"I can go for a week from now. Hmm, I wonder if there are some towers tall enough here in Great Forks or maybe a mountain. Hopefully I'm not too late on stopping the hubris of his actions but like you said last time, I will be careful in case my actions only worsen it" He nods to the astrologer out of thanks. " For now, I must be off due to other errands or you may have questions before I leave"
