Rishi	In her panicked state, Rishi launches herself into the air and rain, simply flying fast and ...away. While keeping up with her might be hard, keeping her in view is really only hampered by the rain. As long as she doesn't do anything stupid like smack into a building, you should be able to keep her in sight and catch up when she lands.
Amethyst	Amethyst isn't playing games here. She's seen one of her loves run away after she had harsh words with her, and now she's watching Rishi do the same. And, admittedly, maybe if her reality got brough shattering down she'd be tempted to run. But here and now, she has a duty to make sure her love is safe and to help her however she can. And damn it that's what she's gonna do, even if it means flying in rain, using her wings, in her dragon shape. Not the first or last time she'll be seen in public with it, but it still makes her uncomfortable.
Fudou the Mountain	For Fudou, catching up isn't a concern and his hawks sight keeps Rishi is in easy view. As of now, he's unaware of the chase being given by Amethyst. He presumes she's following despite his words, but his intent is to make sure Rishi doesn't do something foolish in the middle of all of this foolishness. And to catch her? Well the Full Moon have their gifts. A subtle use of essence and his movement surges, racing across the skies now far faster then any hawk is normally capable off, quickly gaining ground and soon to overtake Rishi though his flight is high above her. For now he simply follows, opting for an opportunity to descend once she has finished her retreat.
Rishi	Eventually Rishi dives down past a tall temple with complex eaves and, while you both lose sight of her for a moment, the giant leather sack hanging from the underside of one of the overhangs stands out quite well. It looks like she's just hanging there, likely crying and trying to sort out everything.
Amethyst	Amethyst blinks, rubs her eyes then blinks again. She thinks . o O ( Rishi's totem animal is a bat, isn't it? I guess this makes sense but it's still weird. ) For a moment she flies in place, contemplating how best to approach Rishi like this. She's gotten a lot of training on how to be a socialite but very little in the way of 'How do I help my friend not feel so awful'. Well, she has to do something. After gives her space for a few minutes, the alchemist flutters over towards Rishi, her irradescent wings catching the fading evening light. Quietly, she asks, "Rishi?"
Fudou the Mountain	"I told you to wait." Fudou's deep voice rumbles from a few levels below the pair as the behemoth does not have wings to manifest and has returned to his normal form. Well..normal being relative. He could probably reach them both with a slight hop upwards. "Amethyst, you wouldn't understand." he adds but then after a moment of reflection he adds, "She's not going to run away. Are you, RIshi? Won't you come down to me?"
Rishi	She's just sobbing in there. That said she's also not running either. It takes a few minutes before she gets out "...leave...alone"
Amethyst	"What can I say I'm bad at listening." Amethyst says to Fudou flippantly, shaking her head. But there's a little bit of anger in her tone when Fudou says she wouldn't understand. "Definitely wouldn't know /anything/ about having the things I believe in and hold close to be challeneged and overturned." Amethyst shoots back. But when Rishi speaks, Amethyst's anger melts and she focuses on her. She gently places a hand on Rishi's wing, "It's alright love, I'm here for you. You don't need to say anything." If Rishi doesn't respond negatively eventually she'll get into this awkward hug where she's flying to keep herself from pulling on Rishi but still very much hugging and gently rubbing her wings, "It's alright. I understand how it can be to hear such things. I just didn't want you to be sad alone, alright?" Her voice is gentle and quiet, doing her best to be calming and supportive.
Fudou the Mountain	"It's a little more then that." remarks Fudou to Amethyst, "As much as we are the same, we still have to allow for where we are different, luv." His response is firm but gentle and lacks any scathing anger. "Rishi, it's alright. I spoke too harshly and am sorry. You've always been wound up in the passions of your beliefs and emotions and desires because of what you've been through and where you are from. Please, come down. If I try and hang fro those rafters like you..why..I'll bring the whole building down. You don't want that, do you?"
Rishi	A hand slips out and grips Ammy's, even though she's still got her wings wrapped pretty tight around her. "...." It takes a little longer before she finally comes down, cluching Ammy.
Amethyst	Amethyst glances back down at Fudou, and is silent a moment, before finally saying, "Maybe I don't understand then." There's no anger in her voice either, just concern. She smiles a little as Rishi grabs her hand, and then when she finally comes down, Amethyst gladly pushes herself against Rishi, happy to comfort her. "Feeling a little better?" She asks, smiling with a little sparkle in her eye. This is not a side of Amethyst that's commonly seen.
Fudou the Mountain	"The truth is, Amethyst..you don't -have- to understand, luv... You just need to be there." Fudou concludes that after some final thinking it as he walks over to greet the two as they land. He then reaches forward to try and place both of his massive hands on each of them, bringing his immense arms around them both. When you're huge, you give great hugs after all. "There. isn't that better?" he offers with a big grin again. "A good cry can be refreshing.. Even I know this. You think I don't cry? Just..not infront of you two."
Rishi	Rishi is very, very subdued, eyes red with crying, voice hoarse, hair askew. "....sorry....needed...alone....think..." She's clutching Ammy for support. "..thanks..." The hug from Fudou surprises her, but she does accept it. After a few minutes, she manages to whisper, "...what am I doing now?"
Amethyst	Ammies just snuggles against Rishi, giving as much support as she can. She knew it was a good idea for her to tag along. She looks at Fudou for a moment, considers, then nods. The hug from Fudou also surprises her! But it's not unwelcome. Then she gets this mischevious grin on her face, "Why not? We're all friends here, right? You can cry around us. I'm sure you've seen both of us cry now." She teases. She really wanted to add some levity here.
Fudou the Mountain	Fudou's no fool. He knew what he was saying and why and Amethyst seems to play right into his words and so he continues: "Oooh..nobody needs to see that. Besides, I can't have you gossiping about the sight of me blubberin' about something like a dropped sandwich or a slap from a pretty girl." He releases them both and crouches down to peer at Rishi. "It will take time to process things, yes? As to what do you now.. Why change? This whole thing is simply because we are suggesting restraint less you create ripples we can't all contain or deal with and nobody -wants- to deal with that, yes? I suspect, neither do you. That's all. Easy, yes?"
Rishi	Rishi suddenly squirms free, visible anger flaring on her face through the tears. "No! My, my life is being a lie! I am no Priestess! I have no Quest! I..." she slumps "I...am ...not being worthy. What..what can I be doing?"
Amethyst	Amethyst chuckles at Fudou, yeah the two of them are playing into each other to try to break the tension. She gives him a nod as he explains his thoughts but when she looks back to Rishi, she's very surprised. She wasn't expecting Rishi to suddenly squirm away from her like that. As much as Fudou says that she wouldn't understand, she sure feels for Rishi here. But it takew her a few moments to form a good response. "Rishi I, I think you should keep doing what you're doing. Maybe tweak it a little bit, maybe change something here or there, but you already /do/ and /act/ out what you believe in. It'll be weirder if the Exigent of the Changing Waters suddenly vanishes. But I also understand if you need time to really think about what you really want."
Fudou the Mountain	Fudou grows solemn and his expression neutral as Rishi speaks and Amethyst answers. He remains silent for a space of time and then finally; "Rishi.. you are no less worthy then I am. Did I not say that Luna exalts murders and champions alike? Or something like that. Just consider the lunars you know and the stories of the ones you don't! You've no less a divine mandate then I...it's just up to us to determine what to do with what we have!" He presses a huge hand to his chest, frustrated now as he peers at Rishi, "I thought that my strength and size was only to protect others and when that failed and I survived and they did not...and I was chosen..I thought that maybe the strong should lead the weak and do as they will with their strength but..." He pauses and then simply says, "I had to change..I had to learn. I had to grow. I'm still growing. Literally. But change is part of our nature, isn't it? This is what sets us apart from the sun children. Our ability to grow and adapt. Now you've started this journey. Was it really -only- because you thought Luna told you to do so? I thought Luna didn't simply exalt champions to do what she says. Right?" He pauses and then says, "Perhaps it -is- past time you went to a Lunar moot.."
Rishi	Rishi leans on Ammy again. "...I cannot be doing the lying to the people. It...it is being one thing to be ...shading the truth. Yes, the miracle is being my doing, but, if the One is doing the guiding of my hand...then it is still being the Miracle. It is still being...essentially a true thing. If..if it is just ...something I am having done...it is not a holy thing. It is not being a miracle. It is just being a lie." Rishi looks up at Fudou, ".....They are not Choosing them for their tendency to obey or agree, no." she makes a noise that might be a small giggle. "....This...this is being a thing that is helpful. I am still believing that. But...if it is not being a divine calling...then I cannot be telling the peoples such things."
Fudou the Mountain	"Rishi, you are already -lying- to them. You are disguising your nature in order to do this thing that you think is for their betterment if they felt that way before talking to you or not. Those people who have experienced this miracle....wrought by -your- hand, not Luna's divine intervention, but your sorcery, was always that..and they would have gone on living their lives as happy or as unhappy as they were before you came along. Even if Luna -told- you to do it..it was never without some deception or subterfuge because of the limitations of where you are." He shakes his head, "If you don't want ot reveal yourself you'll always have to coat whatever you do in the veneer of being something else. You think I don't do some good around here? Yet they presume me an exigent of some far away mountain god of strength and that is sufficient. Are my deeds a 'lie'?" Fudou shakes his head, "The deed is not - but the method..perhaps. Otherwise I could not function freely here in Great Forks without arising attention I -don't want.-. The THree already know anyway but why rouse futher ire?"
Amethyst	Amethyst leans, and looks up at Rishi, contemplating this line of logic. Then she listens to Fudou, and as much as she hides her mutations, unlike the Lunars she doesn't need to hide what she is. "And you're not revealing yourself to be a Lunar, I swear by the five dragons." Amethyst says just a little sternly. "But," She pauses, "I will say something worthy of note." "As heretical as Prasad is, their whole ideal is that the Dragon-Blooded themselves are gods. I don't really buy into it, but it does make sense that each of us Exalted carries with us a sorta divine shard within us. It's what gives us the power to work the world around us." "And Rishi, just because Luna didn't tell you to make this, doesn't make it any less incredible. It's a gift to any and all who come to it. Maybe we should meet with Pearls and talk about long term planning here, the three of us can surely figure something out. At the least you should let your followers know you're leaving for some time, and will return later, then hide until we figure out what the heck to do." "You won't be able to go around as your true self until we figure things out, but know that you do have people to help you."
Rishi	"....You are being right...At least, I should not be revealing the truth to all. Not without time to be thinking on this. I can be leaving them a note." Rishi looks at Ammy and her expression changes. "Ah, yes, we are needing to be meeting with Pearly. We are having ...much to be discussing." A sly look gets on her face. "You and Frosty are no-longer being the only ones."
Fudou the Mountain	"I think you're both overcomplicating this. She doesn't have to stop doing anything she doesn't want to do. If you can understand and accept that Luna visits us all equally but we decide how to use her gifts with merely the mandate of being great and defending Creation .. then you can continue doing your miracle for people if that's what you truly believe the people need. But if you're -only- doing it because you felt Luna wanted you to do and you have something else pressing on your heart then do that instead. Simple." Fudou makes a light gesture at that, shaking his head. "My only concern with how you were proceding was the pace and if you were considering the ripple effects of doing this in Great Forks, surrounded by countless other competing temples and gods and a rulership that doesn't want us to rock the boat so to speak. IF you feel you need to pause to reconsider matters then very well but don't do ti for any reason other then you following your heart.."
Amethyst	"Yea know Fudou, the thing I always like about you," Amethyst starts, "Is that you somehow manage to get to the point of things." And Amethyst then thinks aloud, "I think maybe either you should be charging for the services, or offering a lottery, or something just to limit the amount of people receiving your miracles, lest the other gods get jeleous. I'm sure me Pearls and you can figure out something reasonable, or you could work it out with your followers." But then Amethyst squints at Pearls, "What, there's another person in our um, collection? YOu gotta tell me about them. Do we have a dedicated male? Are they another Dragon-Blooded or maybe some other Exalted?" There's a mixture of rabid curiousity and frustration in Amethyst's voice as she asks rapid fire questions.
Rishi	"No, no. It is not being that. Pearly and I we are now having the ...connection that you and Frosty are having." Rishi headtilts, then shakes her head. "No. We have already been giving away the miracle for weeks. If we are starting to be demanding things now, then we are starting to be looking dangerous, like we are trying to be taking the other worshippers or that I am trying to be taking over the city. And we have already given it to many of the people. Others will be angry if they cannot be having it. I am thinking it is better if it is just...being a thing that has happened. You are only needing to be bathing once, so we are getting fewer and fewer people on each day. Better to just be letting it do the 'calming down' and the 'fading away'." Rishi looks at Fudou. "You said that you have done the meeting with the Three? It would be best if I was doing the meeting with them as well, I am thinking. Once I have done the talking with the Dragons and the figuring out."
Fudou the Mountain	"It was requested. I assumed that...others had done the same?" Fudou frowns a little bit there. Mildly annoyed, "Surely they know of us. Some sort of divine working over their domain I gather. They don't seem to mind or care as long as we're not here to disrupt their city and I think using magic to physically change all mortals who come to you might count as that, regardless as how you justify it. Surely not -all- of Great Forks has come to you? IF so, then we may have a problem. This is what I feared. Again, there are other gods and other temples. Such a 'miracle' as you call it would certainly be causing mortals to be attempting to elevate the god you are using as a cover. But it's done now. Yes.. You may be right. You could just let it fade away and have dodged any sort of repercussions for now..."
Amethyst	Amethyst's face immediately turns a deep shade of purple as she realizes her confusion. "Uh, right, I see. Um, yeah. That uh, that makes sense Rishi." She shakes her head and focuses. Amethyst pinches her nose, "You know, Rishi, I remember telling you from the very beginning that I thought this was a really bad idea. It's not going to take anyone more than a cursory glance to make the connection that this god is just one of the manyfold ways people express Luna and are gonna be able to see through your illusion. /And/ have you gotten any training from Pearly to ensure others can't just read you like an open book?" Amethyst likes out a deep sigh and centers herself. "All of Great Forks... that would be terrifying. And if not, it's still been weeks. How many people do you think you could've changed? Gods I wish this conversation could've happened sooner."
Fudou the Mountain	"We tried." notes Fudou though he seems more amused then annoyed, "This had to happen. Stubborn and bull headed. Are you sure that's not your totem? Anyway I think it's best to keep this between the three of us and Pearl, if you wish, for now. I don't think our other associates would understand well. Maybe Bright, perhaps. I don't know. I'm not sure how fully thought out this whole thing was." He then grins, "Now then. I go to find some way to relieve my pent up energy." And with that, he melts away in a whirlwindo of movement, once more taking on the form of a hawk as he takes to the skies.
Rishi	"Most people are doing the thinking that their bodies are being fine. Our group was doing the spreading of the word about the miracle with those who are ...not being fine with their bodies. If people are not spreading the word vastly further, then we will be fading away. But...I should be doing the talking with the Three, in case the word is spreading." "...I have had some of the training from Pearly." She looks downcast. "But...it was doing the working because I was beliving that it was being true. And...I am not thinking that anymore." Her head snaps back up. "But! I am not thinking that it was being wrong to be doing this. Maybe it was being ..ill advised, but it was not being the wrong." Rishi looks up at the now clearing skies. "...I am thinking that we should be doing the heading back to your shop. It is being better to be doing the talking there and we can be doing the planning to be talking with Pearly later."
Amethyst	Amethyst nods, "It's good that you're trying to help people with their forms and helping people become themselves. That's definitely not a bad goal to have. Only the quickness and vastness of how quickly such a 'miracle' spreads could be the problem." "Talking with the Three is a good idea for all of us, I think. Yeah, let's go back to my shop for now. I still need to finish processing your um, 'gift'" Amethyst gives a nervous chuckle.
Rishi	Rishi puts an arm around Ammy. "Is that what the mask was being? A gift for me? Or was that being something else?"
Amethyst	Amethyst leans into Rishi, and sorta... climbs into her loves arms? It's like she wants to be carried back to her shop or something. "It's actually for disguising myself. There's a bit of dragon magic involving wood and the power of masks. Using it I should be able to hide my identity when I'm out adventuring so that it's less a danger to myself to use my... unique gifts."
Rishi	Rishi pulls Ammy into her strong arms, kisses her forehead, and says "Ah, that is being most interesting. I would love to be watching you do the working on that while I am...doing the thinking." And then she starts running and leaps into the air. "And this is being much of the faster!"
Amethyst	"I'll need to learn more about disguising myself in general first, I think, before it'll work. But after that I should be able to be the Silver Dragon I keep calling myself. For the magic to work I need to be a legend of some variety. A dragon that's somewhere between a DB and a Lunar looking to unite the two sounds like a pretty fun legend." Amethyst says, giggling and hanging on. "I've also been thinking of that pool now that you've made it, and I can't help but wonder what it might do to me now that it's fully made." She admits, "When you were doing your tests I just ended up in a different form each time."
Rishi	Rishi giggles, holding Ammy in both of her stong and fully healed arms as she flies back. "Pearly is also being curious. She is wanting to use her becoming the water charm," Rishi blushes deeply there for some reason, "while bathing in the pool. I am not being sure that is being ...safe, so I would be wanting you there too. You could both be doing the bathing as well."
Amethyst	"I'm also not sure how safe that would be." Amethyst says. "And maybe since my current ideal shape seems to keep shifting it'll just change me into whatever I'm feeling that day." "I think we should avoid doing silly foolish things with our magic tho. We can only luck out so many times, and I've been lucky a few times now and Pearls' been lucky once too. I don't want anything tragic to happen to us." "But, me bathing in the water like this, that'd be safe, probably, right?" "...Do you think there would be anyone at the temple in the night time? If I wanted to visit it sooner than later."
Rishi	Rishi headtilts, thinking, then says "It is being better if you are simply sending me the cherub so that I may be doing the arranging of things. I have been doing the allowing of some of our ...friends to be there at the night. For the viewing of the moon. It is having the nice view of the sky. And it would be better that you were not doing the interupting of them. But, I'm sure we can be finding the time for you to be doing the visiting."
Amethyst	"The... Cherub. Infallable Messenger?" Amethyst asks, "But I'm already here talking to you!" She giggles a little. "But I understand. Just, I'm only a little nervous about what the water may do to me, that's all." She rubs the back of her head. "Have you ever had someone go in that wasn't sure of what form they wanted/"
Rishi	"Most who are coming have been wanting something specific. I have done some chatting with those who have not been feeling quite of the right afterwards or were being worried before they were doing the bathing. This is usually helping me with doing the ..fine details." Rishi kisses Ammy on the forehead again. "But...whatever else is happening, you should be knowing that it is being my soul and your soul together that are choosing your form. And I would not be giving you the body that is not feeling most correct."
