Tiziri the tournament has been going strong, there's all sorts of things happening. Festivities, training, events, parties held by others. Though at the moment? It is a bit of a lull, aside from the fact there's a massive party going on through all the area around the arena. That means lots of food. Lots of drink. Lots of music. Lots of pretty much anything that might be at such a thing. Tiziri is currently eating a box of noodles while she watches a bunch of teenagers attempt tests of strength. She's got an amused look on her face while doing so.
Raullaur The Golden Lion has had a couple of fights--one easy, and the second one lasting longer before his opponent finally yielded--and is coming through the party. No noodles for him, but a bun of fried dough around savory meat. When he sees the blue-haired Tiziri, he walks over to where she's perched. "Greetings. I hope you are enjoying things to their fullest here!"
Tiziri "I am." Tiziri agrees before slurping some more of the fiery looking noodles up. "There's so much to see, I love it." The fact she looks a little tired too? Probably points to something else. "Are you looking forward to further matches? There's definitely some interesting competitions from what I've seen." She says, then slurps up some more.
Raullaur "Some, but this is for fun, not glory. If I have to let loose, well..." He grins slightly, "If I do that, I'd best be leaving soon thereafter. What about you? Are you going to fight?" His tail flicks slowly behind him, "And areyou doing all right? You look a bit drained."
Tiziri "As I said, it's been a busy tournament, a lot to see, and I've been doing all I can to see everything." There's something to how she says everything that makes it pretty believable. "But no, I don't intend to fight. I prefer to keep my skills more privant than that. Besides, dueling is less my forte than some. I already know I'd hold no candle to Fudou." She grins and just leaves it at that.
Raullaur "I can see that. I know I would win against Amethyst, but, it would show more than I want to," the lion says. "Which is why, well...I was told you had an idea, and it's an intriguing one, about heading further east, with a greater goal than just the tournament."
Tiziri Tiziri tilts her head to the side a bit more than most probably would, raising a brow in the process while she asks. "Oh? What is that then? I do have a lot of ideas." She says, pausing in the process of using her chop sticks to scoop up any more noodles for the moment.
Raullaur "About finding a place of my own, and a suitable ally as well," Raullaur replies. "Too many people around to go into specifics...but you said I should go along with a venture, to try to impress others there."
Tiziri Tiziri nods to that, understandingly. "Indeed. I think my teacher might be willing to entertain, at the very least. Though suitable obeisance might be needed to go along with it." the blue haired girl says. "And she will test you, and your resolve, that I can promise."
Radiant Heart Princess The young woman had been watching some of the fights. She was walking along taking in the festivities. She has a small basket with some steamed meatbuns she just got when she notices Raullaur. Naturally she would make sure to act natural before walking towards him. "Oh hello, Raullaur." She would say with a smile and a wave.
Raullaur "That will be a better trial than here. Here, my resolve is not tried, but my patience. To be honest, I look forward to it. An honorable risk. And I would be grateful for anything you could say about her, and the trials. Another time, though." When Radiant comes, he turns, and bares his fangs in a feline approximation of a smile. "Hello, Radiant," he says. "Enjoying things? I haven't seen anything as scary as that one fightm between the musician and the water-caste!"
Tiziri Tiziri is sitting on a post as she talks to Raullaur, the blue haired girl currently eating a bowl of noodles that look quite fiery from the red color they have! She ends up shifting things to look over towards Raullaur then and say, "I think that was the most interesting one I've seen too. There's been some ferocity for sure. But that was the most interesting by far." She notes, the slurps some more of her noodles.
Radiant Heart Princess "It's been great so far. Some of the fights were pretty interesting. Maybe next year I might give it ago." Radiant reaches into her basket offers both them some meat buns. "Mostly because I have several doubts I'd do anything beyond make a fool of myself if I participated now."
Raullaur Raullaur takes another meat bun, and smiles. "Thank you. And perhaps so, but...it may be worth it to live and let loose!" Golden eyes gleam as he takes a firm bite. "At this point, things will be fun no matter how they turn out, and I'm looking--wait. Have you met?" He looks from one to the other, Tiziri, this is Radiant Heart Princess. Radiant? Tiziri. I've known Tiziri a bit, and just met Radiant here at the tournament when I got to be a bulwark against fear.
Tiziri "Salutations." Tiziri says, placing her noodles aside for a moment and holding her right fist under her left as she bows her head over it. "Raullaur's right. We've known each other a bit now, served together guarding a convoy from pirates that fortunately didn't appear, and other assorted randome encounters here." She says. "I also go by Ardent Vagabond, by the way." The blue haired girl adds.
Radiant Heart Princess She'd laugh nervously. "Not my proudest moment. Not used to seeing abilities like that. Fortunately, Raullaur was there when I got spooked." She would look at Tiziri curiously. "Oh so you're a mercenary? Have you been alot of jobs like that often?"
Raullaur "Don't worry. It makes one feel useful to have a purpose--and the one I enjoy the most is protecting another. So, it worked well." He grins, "And /I'm/ the mercenary. My band's quite good, but...there's getting to be fewer jobs around here, so..good to look farther afield. The Three don't want...disruptions."
Tiziri "I suppose Mercenary covers it." Tiziri agrees. "Yeah, though more just a caravan guard than anything more formal. I wouldn't be the sort to hire out in an army or anything, more just bodyguard and caravan protection sort of things really. So I suppose some might call me a mercenary, I'm really more of just a travelling martial artist and caravan guard. Probably." She giggles a bit. "Personally, I'd say I'm most of all just a traveller who takes the jobs she needs to in order to get to new places."
Ignis For someone like Ignis, this tournament is a true source of entertainment. He's been in the crowd, cheering loudly, wincing visibly and otherwise observing all combatants with a sharp eye and a keen knowledge of combat and warfare that some might say contrasts with his scruffy, well meaning visage. Eyes and wits sharpened by the trials given to someone with his vocation and calling - set against an easy going smile that greets nearly all who look on him and exchange pleasentries.

Yet those who know him may have observed something quite interesting. He's yet to take the field himself.

No, he's been spectator alone, though he remains jovial, if detached from the proceedings. This same expression is on his face as he makes his way through the arena towards the stands, ready to watch the next round of fights..only to pause as he takes note of familiar faces. Raullaur is a stand out of course. Hard to miss that, even with the more colorful members of the fighting entourage. And so he approaches, raising his voice in greeting and slowing as there is a third he doesn't recognize.

"Greetings my friends. Are we enjoying the Congregation of Victory so far? Raullaur! Are you taking the field any time soon?" His gaze turns towards TIziri, offering her a grin and then he looks curiously to Radiant.

Radiant Heart Princess She would nod. "Interesting. Probably more interesting than trading." She would shrug. "Nice to know. Maybe I'll end up needing both of your services" Well at least if she is attempting to stay in cognito. She wuld then look at the new face and wave.
Raullaur "Indeed. It's time to remind people a bit of the show when I first came to town! It'll be fun, at least. What about you, Ignis?" The lion looks easy and relaxes, half a meat bun in his right hand which he then takes a bite from. "It will be quite a sight to see who wins."
Tiziri "More just a fortuitous and convivial meeting." Tiziri responds to Ignis as he arrives. "Nothing so fancy as celebrating victory yet." She notices a wine seller making his way along and flags him down, throwing some money to him, and getting a jar of wine thrown back to her. "Thank you!" She chimes to the seller before unstopping it and taking a swig of the drink. "Enjoying the festivous atmosphere." She looks to Radiant Heart Princess, "Look me up, if interests align it could be possible. Though I do admit this area is especially interesting yet, I've not even come close to exploring the city to my heart's content yet. Let alone the surrounding area!" She sounds quite enthusiastic too. It seems Ardent Vagabond probably is a suitable sobriquet.

"If I had to place a bet, I'd likely do so on Fudou. He is quite formidable after all. I doubt any within a thousand leagues could match him in raw strength." Tiziri says cheerfully. Then takes another sip of her wine before holding it out in offer to the others around her. "Though if someone manages to topple him? I'll be most interested indeed! So we'll have to wait and see what happens."

Ignis "After some consideration I decided against directly competing and believe me, my heart was set on it." says Ignis while resting a hand on his hips and gesturing absently. "After our last talk.." He looks towards Tiziri now, "I took some time to reflect and realized that like you, my particular skills and interests may be better served elsewhere for the moment. If there is a way I -might- engage in an exhibition match of some sort. Not to compete but just to put on a show but...I'm also preparing for two possible expeditions. A return to Antihelios and to aid another on some exploration..."

He grins a little bit more and nods to Radiant Heart Princess as well, "As you heard, I am called Ignis..and as to who may win? I've heard tell of a woman who could wield music as a weapon but that she was bested by Amethyst. But if more like her lurk ..it could be a great guess. The Mountain is a good bet but I would not count our friend MIsa out as well. She's swift and between the two.. that perhaps might be an epic confrontation...."

He then grins to Raullaur, "THough I think Raullaur here may disagree with us?"

Raullaur Raullaur shakes his head. "Oh, definitely epic. Especially if they let loose! I'll enter, and fight, and see where I end up, but I itch more to lead my men in battle again." He shakes his head. "But a good battle would have too much upheaval about here. So I must wait for the clarion call elsewhere...unless we have an army from Nexus, or Legions of the Realm or Lookshy start to go mad." He suddenly yawns, muzzle opening wide, tongue curling and fangs gleaming. "I'm sorry. I've been awake for a couple of days, and it is time to rest, I think."
Radiant Heart Princess "To be honest. I think Raullaur has a good chance of winning. Though I'm going to have to watch This Mountain's fight. Though Amethyst does seem like a big obstacle." She said with a nod. "have a good rest, Raullaur"
