Tiziri "I had the honor of a lesson from Misa." Tiziri says. "She is quite skilled indeed." All the same, the young woman has a weirdly impish look on her face as she says that for some reason. "Though as you say, it could end up being quite the epic confrontation, if the brackets work out such, it might be the one to wager on for the final match." She looks over to Raullaur as well, though, her grin remaining while the wine is still held in offer to the others, then she shrugs and sips again. "The problem with fighting Fudou, however, is he's the sort who only needs to hit once. And he's skilled at arena fights. It's his forte. That's what makes him so dangerous. Misa is a splendid artist, grace and skill. Yet? I suppose we shall see."
Ignis "You seem confident on Raullaur but seem unfamiliar with The Mountain and Misa. Are you new to Great Forks but familiar with our leonine friend?" asks Ignis curiously of Radiant Heart. He raises an eyebrow and studies her thoughtfully, "What is your reasoning for presuming Raullaur?"

He then inclines his head and nods to Tiziri, "And I've...'witnessed' Misa as well.."

There's an odd stress to that word. A certain coyness that, perhaps, mirrors TIziri's own. Saying much without saying anything perhaps.

"So I now of what you speak. BUt..I'm afraid I haven't had a chance to actually face her in a proper duel. I have faced Amethyst however, many seasons ago.. Not one on one mind you. It was..something of a free for all between us and others and she was able to best me though I count the situation..unique."

Ignis grins and then adds holding his hands up in a shrug, "Using that as a gauge.. SHe is definently one to watch."

Radiant Heart Princess Radiant would shake her head. "I only met Raullaur recent. I just have a feeling. He just seems like he would win or come very close to it." She would look at Tiziri. "So what you're saying is...he just needed to dodge." She said with a smile. "Still I think most of you, Amethyst especially, can probably beat me. I only have recently gotten the hang of swords." She said with a light chuckle
Tiziri "Look at me. I'm tiny. I'm pretty decent with my spear, but I'm the sort who hopes never to have to use it. I've lucked out in most of my escort jobs so far. Aside from one that left me near dead." Tiziri seems oddly blase about that fact now too. Merely taking another swig of her drink and saying, "But anyways, the real thing here is that yes, dodging will help fighting Fudou. It ignores the main problem, he may be a giant. Yet he's blisteringly fast too." She grins, "I've seen him in the arena a couple times, he's terrifying."

Tiziri sets her jar aside to pick her noodles back up and use her chopsticks to slurp up some more of the fiery looking things before adding, "Amethyst already had to reveal some of her deep tricks - admittedly, against the one using Music as a weapon. Perhaps it was merely an exceptional opponent who would have gone far. Perhaps not. Fudou? Misa? I don't think we've seen anything yet. I expect the same of some others too. That's what makes this so interesting to watch, I can't wait to see who emerges victorious."

Ignis Crossing his arms, Ignis listens to both Radiant and Tiziri and the nods his head.

"Normally I would suggest you need more then a gut feeling in a situation like this.." HE looks to Radiant with amusement but not arrogance as he adds, ".But if people didn't make guesses based on feelings then I suppose the gambling halls wouldn't be so full of winners and losers."

Unfolding his arms he nods, "Speed coupled with if one can pierce The Mountains defenses are critical. There's little point in being fast if your strikes are like baby bee stings against a slab of adamant and Raullaur has made clear his interests lie largely in group tactics and warfare though he can defend himself. We will see. Bet on who you like. I have to admit I'm still uncertain and there are other fighters yet to reveal themselves to me. More surprises like that musician may emerge."

Radiant Heart Princess "A old teacher once told me, where theres a winner there must also be a loser. So if I lose, I'd just be out a little bit of cash, no big deal. I'm not going to be angry if he doesn't" She takes a nibble out of one of her meat buns. "If anything it would just give me more to know about him...and the other fighters of course."
Tiziri "Precisely." Tiziri responds to Ignis. "That's why I don't quite think Raullaur will make it all the way. Barring a favorable bracket. I don't meant to claim he's a poor warrior, merely that I think there are one or two others who are more skilled duelists than him. He's a leader, one who commands the battlefield, troops. He is not quite the dedicated follower of the blade that some he may face are." She explains. Then she grins widely, "And indeed, expect more surprises like the musician. We got a wonderful little surprise showing there. Early on. More will emerge as the battles continue."

She nods to Radiant Heart Princess then too. "It gives you a good one to study, for sure. I'm making an effort to learn as much about as many as possible." Tiziri shrugs, and then slurps some more noodles. "Yet studying one or two is valid as well. After all, we can't see all the fights at once. Right? So we must pick and choose to learn what we can. Perhaps talk with friends." Again, her smile seems oddly impish.

Ignis "Mm.."

Ignis folds his arms again as he looks to Radiant. He smiles subtly and then nods his head, as if reaching soe sort of internat conclusion, "Right you are then. Stick to your conventions and yes of course...a gracious loss is still a valuable experience.."

His roguish grin returns, "..Still, my personal philosphy has been that it's always better to simply win."

He nods politely to Radiant and then looks back to Tiziri, "As to that, you are quite correct. That's what a good gossiping session like this is for no?"

He did catch that impish smile though and he adds with a bit of that amusement again, "Unless you've managed some sort of secret in regards to good gossip that you've yet to share with us."

Tiziri "The secret is not so secret at all." Tiziri responds with a flippant little shrug before she tilts her head to the side almost a bit too far, complete with feral grin. "Know a lot of people who are also watching, and you can find out the gossip!" She breaks out into giggles and then picks her wine up to take a long draught of it again. "See? Easy!" More giggles.
Radiant Heart Princess Radiant would look at Ignis. "Then I wish you lots of luck, my friend. " She said before looking at Tiziri. "You have the right idea there." She laughed a bit. "Maybe we should get a bit more drinks. To really enjoy the festivities going on."
Ignis "Well I do happen to know alot of people given the business I'm in of adventuring and Scavenger Lording - so I'll keep that advice in mind. Somehow, though, I think you've got one up on me somehow but alright, keep your secrets."

Ignis has claimed a drink of his own by now and he raises it in salute to Tiziri, grinning at her.

He blances back to Radiant and maintains that smile, "Luck is one of my skills. However I'm still not sure on what side to come down on. Perhaps I may live dangerously and root for the underdog. Whoever that may end up being. Either way, may the best gossiper...ah..and gut feeling.. win."

Tiziri "It's not about who wins." Tiziri says, "Well, unless you're gambling. then it definitely is." She deadpans. Before giggling. "But anyways. For me? It's about the journey! So yes, let's go with that. And as for wine? There's vendors all over. I'd suggest any of them. I'm running low myself... hmm, but I should get some of that lemon juice someone had earlier, probably better than wine right now. Yes, I like that. It was nice to see you." She says to Ignis. then smiles to Radiant. "And to meet you!"
