Tiziri A busy market night, where a lot of people are out in the waning hours of the day to find any last minute needs or deals. Tiziri happens to be one of them! At least being about. As she's currently wandering through and pausing to look at the various stalls selling food, or ones with interesting looking scrolls or other texts. As it stands, she has just put down a book after looking more closely and is already walking away without showing any further interest, despite the keeper calling for her and offering a discount.
Tepet Makara Somewhere in the markets, Makara is followed by a strange monk in blue robes which are Immaculate in design. "Master, why have you come here again instead of Greyfalls or the Chateau?" He says with an annoyed expression while the monk picks various fruits. "I just want to see what my apprentice is doing. I see you have know learned Water Dragon Form which means you know have a grasp on the basics. I think it's time I introduce you to another art but you may be busy with other affairs?" Makara simply looks around wondering if there is anyone familiar here
Tiziri And it seems there is something interesting in the market after all, if not what is being sold... Tiziri ends up looking over towards Makara and the monk that is along with him, and for the moment she walks over towards him, not quite greeting or making herself known, but staying close enough to listen as well.
Tepet Makara "that art you keep joking about? White Shroud or Pale Veil or whatever?" Makara doesn't know whether this is one of his instructor's elaborate musings in the past. This is not the first time he hears of it, as his master claims he knows a martial art that is imaginary and fake. "sigh, this is not the place to take about it's true name. It is real, it's just...practicioners of it pretending it's not real to keep knowledge of it from spreading" But once Makara notices Tiziri, he approaches her. "Oh Tiziri, sorry if I'm preoccupied right now since I have a visitor" He says with an expression like a child being embarrassed by their parents.
Tiziri "Hello." Tiziri says with a smile, then notes rather matter of factly. "It's why I didn't say hi. It seemed like you were pretty busy." She offers a quick martial bow towards the two, fist in palm, given she doesn't have a spear along. She does seem to be appraising the unfamiliar one here a bit too, lightly so, in the way any traveling martial artist might, qand she even manages to act a bit impressed. "I hope you are both well? Lovely evening."
Tepet Makara The old monk bows as well. "One of Makara's acquaintance I presume? I heard he is familiar with some people, exigents and even dragonbloods of Great Forks. He is admittedly hard to train especially since he exalted as a "water aspect" at an old age" He coughs but notably the tone in his voice with him saying water aspect has a bit of sarcasm to it. "Oh I never introduced him yet, my sifu's name is Enriching Rainfall, Immaculate monk and master of Water Dragon style alongside other arts"
Tiziri "

"Ardent Vagabond, Tiziri." The young woman introduces herself in turn. "I'm a caravan guard and traveller. Hence the name." She says impishly. "Met Makara through some related things, mostly just seeing here. But anyways. It is an honor to meet someone skilled in such arts." She says, still smiling.

Tepet Makara Tepet Makara says, "I see, I meet him in a Northern satrapy I was preaching at. He was a legionnaire who survived that dreadful Battle Of Futile Blood and he even almost died of hunger especially since all of his fellow soldiers who fled died due to the cold and starvation. The amusing part is that he claimed to have devoured a seal just to survive and I even saw him rummaging through a butcher's stall for meat! I thought he was cursed by a god of hunger but I realized he exalted as a water aspect"

The monk chuckles like a grandpa telling an embarrassing talewhile Makara is silent and with a humiliated expression with the tale as if it's an actual part of his past. "uhm my master, you are giving uhh too much exaggerated information"

"

Tiziri %R Tiziri raises her eyebrows at that, "Really? That's... both awful and wonderful. Especially since everyone died. But great to have another Prince of the Earth. Would that I'd been so blessed in my own brush with death." She rubs her side for a moment, "Bandits attacked the caravan I was a part of back home, a militia thing, I was the only survivor. That only because a passing nomad found me near death." She still seems pretty lighthearted for some reason.
Tepet Makara "Yes, he was lucky to become a Prince Of The Earth although his background was from a thinblooded Tepet household with only 4 dragonblooded members. If I didn't found him, he would be a ravenous beast without my teaching" Enriching Rainfull says although feels pity after hearing of Tiziri's story. "I see my student is not the only one with a sole survivor story and I wondered if that nomad took care of you well" He nods to Ardent Vagabond once he has heard of the story.
Tiziri %R "Of course, it's hospitality in that part of the desert to help someone who is dying there. So I was nursed back to health, and from there I began my journies. So in that way, it was a wonderful thing. Yet all the same, I wish none of my comrades had died, but I will always remember them and still raise a toast to their names at every new wine house I visit in my travels. It's only fair I honor them.' Tiziri says with a nod.
Tepet Makara "I wish none of my comrades died as well. If only I exalted at the time they were still alived, I would have aided them back to that satrapy. I sometimes visit the Blessed Isle once a year to inscribe their names in the Wall Of Ten Thousand Tears in Lord's Crossing" Makara comments with sorrow and regret but Enriching Rainfall adds. "Hmm you visit the Blessed Isle once a year? I hope it does not obstruct your duties especially since you are a winglord to the decadent buffo-I mean House Cynis. But I will tolerate your occasional returns to the Isle as long as you go back to prevent compromise" Enriching Rainfall says with a glare to his student as if he knows something
Tiziri "Either way, it seems you have much to catch up on. So I should leave you to it and go back to my search for some food and any interesting texts here in the market." Tiziri once again offers a martial bow. "It was an honor to meet you." She says to the teacher first. Then to Makara, "And nice seeing you again too. I imagine our paths will cross again." She grins.
