Tiziri Evening, somewhere in the market near an alleyway. Tiziri is standing talking to a fire elemental, "No, don't worry. I really wasn't taking a dive. You really did have the best poem tonight. The allusions you made were perfect." She is assuring the Elemental, that looks just a little worried all the same.

"Thanks." A deep, sombre voice responds. Then it makes a gesture of respect. "I'll see you next time, I'm sure you'll win then."

"Seriously, I don't mind. I've very much enjoyed our poetry contests." Tiziri places her fist in her palm and bows. "See you then!" And with that she turns to start heading out into the market, looking around at the various things on display.

Fudou the Mountain A slight distance above...

A particularly robust fellow sits upon the edge of a stone building of a few stories in height just outside of the main walls of the arena itself and not to far from the alley adjacent to the markets and flurry of colors and commerce that have increased since the start of the tourney. The tower itself, likely some sort of storage house of various items of no particular interest.

Of far more potential interest is the fellow himself. Mammoth, swollen with muscle, distinc tin his proportions and scale - Fudou the Mountain. At least right now. He's several names but that one seems to have stuck here of late.

His long legs hang over the edge, kicking back and forth idly with the restlessness usually associated with adolescents while a meaty hand raises up a large jug full of..something or another..and messily downs its contents bit by bit as he observes the traffic below. He's not exactly hiding, per se, but he's neither being particularly showy outside of just being himself. If one has a reason to look up, he'll be spotted eventually...though the distant glow of fire within an alley not to far away does draw his attention and he looks that way to ultimately spot TIziri as she enters the streets.

"Oooh? What's this...?"

Tiziri Tiziri seems to be looking at random stuff in the stalls, and exchanging little conversation bits with others. Yet so far she's refrained from buying anything. A few extra aggressive shopkeeps practically yell at her, particularly one sleazy looking one who is holding up a dress that must have come from quite far away. Tiziri seems to be completely ignoring him though. Next she's stopping at a place with some scrolls, which she looks at and then seems unimpressed as well. Her pace slows as she walks by some food stalls. Yet nothing there either. A few moments she is behind another stall and down an alleyway much like the one she was at... and doesn't emerge.

Flash a little bit later and suddenly off to the side there she is. "Nice viewpoint. What brings you here?" She wonders.

Fudou the Mountain He had been watching her - intending on standing and making his way to the edge of the tower to spring down upon her and the market below once an opportuity and a large enough space presented itself.

As one of the champions in the tournament it would probably not be ideal for him to leap down there and flatten several stalls.

But she doesnt' give him the chance. He frowns, once he loses sight of her in the alley and then he takes another long pull of his drink.

Only to drop it in surprise as she startles him by simply appearing alongside him.

"Oi!" Fudou rumbles, and then frowns in disappointment as his jug goes down, down, down and then shatters upo the streets below..startling some passerbyers who look up in shock towards the tower and the shadow clad colossus.

"Ugh.." he rumbles and then leans back and looks towards Tiziri. "Boredom! Now is this the -real- you?"

Tiziri "Here's the real question." Tiziri says matter of factly. "Does it matter?" She giggles in her somewhat manic uplilting way. Then shrugs. "That being said, I'm the only me that can actually shift shape. So it likely does mean that. And that's how I slipped out from the alley, quite easy to be a bird for a moment or three to get up here." A pause, and an impish look. "Probably."

"So again, does it matter? Especially since even if it weren't, eventually I'll know everything you said to the others." A touch of vagueness it seems, but she seems quite proud of herself. "Boredom really does sum things up. My weekly poetry contest with my depressed Fire Elemental friend is complete, so now it was back to the usual. I'm sure I'll end up in one of the city libraries eventually. Just hopefully not one that a... sister is at. Just gets weird then." She adds with a crinkled nose.

Fudou the Mountain "It matters..depending on a few things." muses Fudou after listening to Tiziri and pondering that for a few seconds.

"Are you all you or are you split between your sisters? Are your sisters different in personality? Less? More of you? Reflections? Copies with diminishing returns. It matters. The you that is you is the only you that can even do what you do. That is you. The others are extensions of that but are they -you-? Who commands who?"

Fudou produces a pipe from ..somewhere..and grins slowly, gaze shadowed by glasses and night time lighting.

"Or maybe it doesn't matter. A riddle for another time. As to boredom? Yes. I haven't had a match arranged that has slowed me yet. I've become a bit of a juggernaut. Being a bully is only interesting for so long..."

Tiziri "Like I said, in time, they'll be me again." Tiziri responds. "Right now? They are like... me at the point we split. They know all I knew, are just as skilled in anything I can do short of my particular blessings - meaning they are more than capable of dealing with most threats, especially here in the city. Oh, I am more tired after making one, but no more than I would be after other powerful things I can do, and rest brings that back. So no, they don't really diminish me. As for who? They do what they will, like they are me. For something like research, wandering this city, watching the matches. That suffices." Still vague, but certainly telling more.

"I've seen that too. Honestly, I wonder who actually might give you a challenge short of Misa or perhaps... perhaps Raullaur. I know not enough of his skill to be certain there. Yet Misa? She should entertain you."

Fudou the Mountain 'He's tough." says Fudou in praise for the lion man, "We exchanged a few blows once upon a time in the dojo our friends maintain but I wasn't as strong as I am now and I didn't push myself to truly try and hurt him. However I understand he is as tough as any Solar can be which should be..telling."

He doesn't seem particularly concerned. Simply stating facts.

"As for MIsa? I'm even less sure or aware of her abilties but as both are Solars I imagine she is quite powerful. However the issue is more if they are willing to reveal themselves. You see, I can fully access all that I have to offer and can appear as an Exigent of my own devising which is ..expected in this city. Them? Should they shine gold .. while the city will take no umbrage so far as the gods are concerned.. citizens may react and certainly there are others watching at all times. It may be more trouble then they care to deal with without a plan of action or an agreement with the powers that be..."

Tiziri Tiziri nods to that, "It will be interesting to see how they deal with it. As you are right." Tiziri agrees with a little nod. "They aren't yet used to hiding themselves like we can." She bites her lower lip for a moment before going on. "I've sparred with Misa at her Dojo. She's good. Very good. I won." She says with a smug little smile, but then it sobers and she adds, "But I cheated, and understand she wasn't even using her favored art. So," she laughs. Shrugging. "Admittedly, neither of us went all out. It's just my clothes have a few little tricks that catch people off guard and I am perhaps a bit too used to using."
Fudou the Mountain "Being prepared for little surprises is part of the fun mm? A Wyld Hunt certainly will 'cheat'." observes Fudou with a slight smug grin to his expression, nevertheless.

"We can't hardly send a formal complaint, now can we? As to hiding.. they've -been- hiding. That's the issue at hand. How long can they? Certainly they've amassed such power that they can impact matters on a regional scale quite easily. Why, even our own has and we've been irresponsible on occasion. Rishi could have very easily started a holy war with her antics not long back."

Tiziri "We're lucky she hasn't. Honestly." Tiziri says, squeezing the bridge of her nose. "Especially here. If we were in another part of the world, it would be a bit less scary. But." She shrugs. "Things will be as they are. They've certainly gotten interesting, and a good reason for me not to move onwards." She giggles again. "I may not wish to reveal my own power yet, but if things do come down to it, I think I'll provide a surprise others will not be expecting."
Fudou the Mountain "Amethyst and I talked her down and made her realize that her 'holy quest' was of her own devising and not some mandate from Luna. It was a noble gesture just..to much. This is a city where gods can be found begging on street corners by offering miracles and great displays of power are done to gain attention and favor. Ten thousand cults and ten thousand faiths and ever more. Rishi sweeping in to cause the whole of Great Forks to adore her variation of Luna while providing them with the perfect miracle that simply could not be refused was drawing un asked for attention.."

He grumbles a little but it seems half hearted.

"As to you? I look forward to this surprise!"

Tiziri "Well, let's hope it isn't necessary." Tiziri says, but again she seems more nonchalant about it than anything else. "Though again, we'll see. I know eventually it will matter. Yet the longer it takes, the more surprises there will be." She giggles uplilting one more time. "And yes, you're precisely right about the situation here. I can't imagine either of our Shahan-ya, or many of the other Elders would have looked kindly on it either. Just... difficult to say."
Fudou the Mountain "We've had this discussion before. We can't sit in Great Forks forever, luv. In fact...some wanderlust beckons me. I can always return but I may have the desire to seek out some secrets of my own and make some noise. How long does it take to effect change? Things are different now so perhaps it's time to force things to be capitalized on.."

Fudou slowly grins, "In that, I agree with my shahan-ya.. though perhaps not with everything he says. Though..one so old is long to come out of his own lethargy when he feels defeated."

Tiziri "And I'm the Ardent Vagabond." Tiziri responds. "I certainly won't be staying. For now though, it remains interesting. I almost feel something... relatively nearby beckons me too. I can't quite figure out what, but in time. I shall."

"I see it as this. When I move, when I reveal myself? I want to cry out to the world and let it know I am here. Yet I do not intend to be some flickering wisp of a legend either, I want to cry out I am here and let it see me. Let it know I am and remain so for a long time to come." She stretches her hands out over her head. "Perhaps that will be here. Perhaps in the Caul. Perhaps somewhere else entirely."

Fudou the Mountain "I think there is plenty to see and do here. The Caul is so very far away. Makara seems fascinated by it but I think, perhaps, there are personal reasons I haven't completely understood."

Fudou nods is head and then shrugs, "I agree with you though. . Which is why I intend to begin investigating the Hundred Kingdoms more and what lies within..and seeing more about what our peers are up to."

Tiziri "Well, to be honest, if I can completely control it I do want to see everything first. I can't deny it." Tiziri says with another giggle. "Yet we know sometimes Fate has other things in store for us. Though until then?" She sighs dreamily. "I will continue as I have. However that may be. And hopefully after this tournament figure out just what it is that calls to me. It's getting louder."
Fudou the Mountain With that, the giant stands. The roof creaks under his movements but the tower stands.

"I hope you find it." says Fudou, sounding rather sincere.

He grins and then steps off of the edge of the roof and plummets like a meteor - only to suddenly wing his way upwards - a large hawk - taking to the skies and begining to rapidly make its way across the shining city.
