Tepet Makara Even Great Forks has its dark side for a lone Tepet scion visits its underbelly known for producing intoxicating substances. Even some people will die just to get it sold and unfortunately, there was an incident here possibly a gang war which left some corpses behind. It was cleaned, but they certainly missed one that fell in the fields of opium. "Damn, and I thought the Blessed Isle and it?s satrapies are the only ones that face this cancer in society" Even without people such as those of House Cynis, there are others that may replace them like the Guild.

However he has been hoping to hone his arts over death as he is near in attaining it?s second circle and finds this lone corpse to be a perfect opportunity. One little practice couldn't hurt while no one is looking as he starts to chant near the corpse.

Fudou the Mountain The existence of the Drug Fields poses a bit of a connundrum for a certain lunar. He's grown to...used too the offerings here in Decadence, in Great Forks. His Shahan-Ya would no doubt lecture him on this fact. This urbanization of one of his favored pupils.

And yet..vices are vices and Fudou the Mountain does enjoy the drugs. The brothels, especially the brothels, and yes..the drinking and the drugs.

But he also knows the source. Knows the reliance on the slavery here and he's..no solution for it yet for Great Forks economy would collapse and many more would be harmed and homeless if this was just ripped out wholesale. Still..righteous justice and necessary change isn't without its prices or sacrifice. THe needs of the many and all that but thus far he's yet to act. He does, however, in the form of a hawk, see a certain fellow Lunar making their way into the sight of the recent gang war out in the fields and curiousity brings him down to the ground and then in the blink of an eye, to his gargantuan human form. From there he almost immediately dons his warform - magnifying in size even larger but with the illusionary guise of his exigent trappings invoked to hide the brutal details of his oxen like yeddim-featured warform mutations. In short he's just colossal. Himself. The exigent of a powerful god of strength and mountain ranges whom he's yet to even properly name. Immense and strong to the point that the ground rumbles as he approaches where Makara is.

Rishi Rishi has come looking for Fudou...which is, honestly, not too hard. He's usually easy to locate due to his size. So, when he starts thundering through the drug fields, Rishi's bends a wing and angles toward the drug fields. Rishi's feelings on them are ...complex, to say the least, but, for now, she's much more interested in what's going on down below with her fellow Lunars.
Tepet Makara After the chanting, the very corpse of the gang member twitches as it's very organs are diverging from each other. Eyes now bloodshot and with an uttering, the necromantic essence fuses with the body as it's explodes. Yet, the entire field is not covered in blood or guts at all as a crimson mist replaces where the corpse once was. The bloody mists then converges into the Tepet's hands as it then turns into an ivory axe. The weapon is made of the corpse's bones, sinew and even blood as it still drips.

Then with Luna's illusions, the axe then changes its appearance into something wooden yet appears it's made of a magical bark. "Hmm, I guess I should pretend it's made out of the fangs of a lesser elemental dragon of wood" Makara comments while unaware he is being watched.

Fudou the Mountain "What in the name of the Silver Chair is this?"

Fudou's deep voice cuts in as he looms up into the immediate area of the ritual taking place. Last he observed this, Makara raised the corpses of an entire graveyard. NOw here he is at it again. He was curious last time but still somewhat disturbed. Now his deep voice shows mild stand offisness towards this.

"Surely Luna's gifts are such that you need not resort to using the corpses of mortals. You are walking a path that I find..Hmm.."

He searches for a word and then finally adds:

"..Squicky."

Fudou rests one hand against his large waist as he talks, letting his other arm hang loosely against his side as he leans there. "And out here no less. Bold.."

Rishi Rishi swoops over, touching down lightly. "If you are going to be practicing such things, perhaps you should be trying with the animal corpses? You can be gaining the new form and the new weapon at the same time!" she smiles, then sobers, stepping around to where the body was and saying a quiet prayer for swift reincarnation.
Tepet Makara "I can see why Great Forks hates one of their neighbors of Sijan, while even our kind distrust even fellows who do this like the rumored shahanya Smiling Rat in the North. I've only heard of the latter from the one who tattooed me since they were from the North" He sighs with disappointment he was discovered in this shameful act for Makara expected to be alone. "Actually I recently learned this spell and I was still trying to find other opportunities for it, but well I walked to see this sight"

"Of course I wouldn't use this spell all willy nilly. This is only for desperate measures if I'm deprived of a weapon in a battlefield. It's useful if you are in one, especially since it's littered with corpses" When Fudou mentions he is walking a path not desirable to most, his disappointed expression is not directed to the others that discovered him but to himself. "Oh gods, it seems I've become more desperate in preparing against him"

Fudou the Mountain "Rishi!"

Fudou's deep voice actually seems to raise an octave slightly, clearly delighted to see her and grinning big upon watching as she moves past him towards Makara.

"What a surprise!"

Her advice is sound though. He had not considered that himself but then again..this is obviously not his field of expertise. "Ahh.." he says, sobering and his attention returning to Makara, "You are clearly not used to this. Why are you exploring this so much if you know what stigma it can bring? Desperation?"

He notes Makara's lack of surety and then sighs, "Do not let my criticisms or thoughts push you in a way you don't want to go or the other way. We've had this talk before, Makara. You need to pick a path and stick to it though..I suppose if you have doubts on if this is the right path then perhaps you should do more ..searching of yourself.."
Rishi "Him? The one we apposed in the grave yard where we found your artifact? Or have you antagonized another?" Rishi headtilts, considering. "It is being better that some use was gained from the remains. The soul has no more use for them."
Rishi smiles at Fudou and gives him a hug. "It's nice to be seeing you! We'll probably need to be going further out if we are wanting to be sparring, but I would like to be talking to Maraka a little first."
Tepet Makara "Yes, the one in the shadowlands that we faced. A Lunar just as fanatic as a shikari that he wanted one of the dragonblood among us dead. He's a necromancer especially since his shahanya trained him....which was me in my past life" He mentions with regret to Fudou that the enemy he was facing used to be his student. "I'm sorry for delving into this Fudou, that's because I inherited that knowledge and sadly I can't waste it. Like what I said, I'm only limiting myself to destructive magics for fights and summoning corpses, but certainly not enslaving souls and get rid of their free will."
"And I have another use for it however since I know the Realm Civil War will be an eventuality and my master will find some use for my art. My master is a pragmatist even if he has the guise of an Immaculate monk to the point his student is an Anathema. I know my necromancy will be used for the conflict when that happens" He confesses the other reason why he is delving into it
Fudou the Mountain "You don't have to apologize to me. There's no 'rule book' or something guiding us."

Fudou gets that out after a brief moment of looking befuddled and disconcerted by Rishi's hug while grinning with a tight lipped embaressed grin.

"Yes.." he manages eventually, "..I have my view but as long as the souls are no longer present I suppose that's what matters and not the bodies themselves but..there are others that might disagree. I would rather not to see the body of someone I was close to being puppeted around even if the soul wasn't there. People are attached to things. Even the flesh. It means something. Memory. A connection to it.."

He rubs his jaw lightly before gesturing, "You should do what you want and what you shoudl to deal with your threat. I just worry you are stretching yourself to much to protect those in The Realm such as your former master. My Shahan-Ya and many others believe that the only way to deal with matters is to bring The Realm down. You're going to have to make a choice soon."

Rishi Rishi headtilts. "Which of the sides are you planning to take in this war? Are you going to be trying to be saving the Realm or to be destroying it?"
Tepet Makara "The side of my master's house who I shall not speak in public since they are a fallen house like Akiyo, Manosque and Jurul. He promised to me that House Tepet will be spared from their vengeance if we side with them as long as they claim the throne. Most of the house actually wants vengeance rather than inherit the throne but my master wants some of the more ambitious and less vengeful members to take the throne. I want to protect the Realm but I know it must be reforged so I do not care as long as it's my side...or the Silver Pact's side that shall win the war."

"But be careful, it isn't a two way war but like the heads of hydras trying to kill each other since the House's Mnemon, Vneef, Peleps, Ragara and others want to take the throne, so you will not be the only contendors in the civil war if you interfere. The only house we don't want to win is House Ledaal....since I am sure they will make the Wyld Hunts worse even in the Threshold"

Fudou the Mountain "She's not asking about a mere Civil War." interjects Fudou, plainly, "She means the utter dissolution and destruction of The Realm, the Immaculate Philosphy and all connected. That doesn't mean -individuals- can't be spared who may serve in a new order but The Silver Pact isn't necessarily interested in a weakened Realm but one that is gone or replaced by a Lunar Dominion. Perhaps, some might suggest now, a new Solar Deliberative."

Fudou looks away, glancing to the south east, "I am not from The Realm so I realize that it's harder to talk about when you are not connected to it. I'm from Volivat.. A product of their breeding sorcery to produce warriors able to stand toe to toe against the Dragonblood despite being mortal and the sorcerers of Ysyr. Our quarrels were with Prasad and even then I had ...defected..to find my own way east. I would not simply be breeding stock and a warrior sent out for national pride."

He pauses and then says, "But I would be frustrated to have to consider if my country of birth had to be destroyed. Sadly, that's the state of Creation right now. As long as The Realm functions under its teachings and rulership and Dragonblood consider to be taught its beliefs blindly..we'll never be safe and Creation can't defend itself against its rising threats..."

Rishi Rishi headtilts, hrming. "You should be doing the speaking with my lover, Black Pearl. I am thinking you and she might be having much to be talking about." Rishi sighs heavily. "I am knowing that many, many people are going to be dying and I am wishing that it will not be so. The Realm is being the problem, the Houses are being most terrible, they are doing the worse things than the hunting of us...but so are many of the others and the collapse will be killing large numbers of the people. I would be doing the stopping of it, if I could be doing that."
"...And I was to be one of those Ysyrian Sorcerers." Rishi sighs once more. "Fudou is being the correct, yes. Even if we could be finding the way for the Realm to be doing the changing, the Silver Pact Elders would not be doing the accepting of it. They are wanting it to be gone."
Tepet Makara "So the Silver Pact doesn't want to take over but destroy it" There is a bit of shock in Makara's eyes. "Fine, just try to spare my house from it even if the shahanyas are really vengeful. If some dragonblooded surrender, please don't kill them, We are no better than shikari if we do that after all" He shows some concern on what will happen if the Silver Age will be the 3rd age. "If the shahanyas are still insistent, then I will lead my house into escaping the Isle. Possibly in the North among Medo" He sighs as no matter what outcome, the losers are gonna suffer very badly in a war which he understands greatly.

"If my side does win, I'll try to subvert the Immaculates into accepting Luna into their doctrines so that our kind will not have to deal with Wyld Hunts but I assume that may vary. After that, I'm going to leave my house seeing as they aren't in present danger anymore and I'll just make a new identity in the forests of the Vale Of Reveries"

But then Makara realizes that Rishi already knows his co-conspirator. "Oh about the fallen house...well Black Pearl also belongs to it assuming you already know her true surname that is. Was surprised to find out you're lovers but I do not mind it at all." He gives a nod to Rishi especially. "But when the war starts, I'll try to minimize the deaths of civilians whenever possible"
Fudou the Mountain "VEngeful?"

FUdou snorts out a rough laugh.

"Neither of you seem to properly understand.. These elder Lunars are ancient beyond reckoning. They -saw- it. -Experienced- the downfall. They lost everything! Saw the owrld changed and were pushed to brink of destruction and hounded by the Dragonblood and their allies ever since with the Solar mates -gone-!"

Fudou's words are harsh but he's grinning. Perhaps a bit of a madcap look. THe brute that was embaressed by Rishi's hug long gone in the throes of a full moon lunar warrior.

"So of course they want to tear it down! Look at Creation! Rishi you are indeed soft hearted. Perhaps too much. Yes, virtue would never want mass deaths but for all your fear of death from a civil war or a collapse or destructinn of the Realm.. Think of how much death has been caused by them to this point now and the damage caused by them?"

He turns to Makara, "you ask for a single 'house' to be spared but I'm not the one to petition that to. Nobody is. The Silver Pact is not some army. It can't agree on how to proceed just that something must be done. Once, My Shahan-Ya, and Raksi .. perhaps the most powerful ancients here in the east, were in agreement and marched willingly against The Realm but now there is a schism that nearly tore the Pact apart at one point. There is no imminent war but should that schism meld..well..it's only a matter of time. The difference now is that the Solars have returned..and we have the Deathknights and now these Chosen of Hell.."

Rishi Rishi rounds on Fudou looking up at him, wings flaring. "And how many of the centuries have been doing the passing since then! All of the people in the fight are being dead, dead, many many times over! Except for the Shahan-yas! We cannot be doing the murdering of the world because the harm of the lost ages is being 'too much the important' that we continue doing the harm today!" She subsides a bit, wings drawing back. "Right now what is doing the mattering is this: The Realm is doing the terrible things and it must be doing the changing or the ending. What we must be doing is to be finding the way we can be doing that without the murders and the wars."
Fudou the Mountain Fudou doesn't exactly shrink back from Rishi but it's clear he's disappointed in her response.

But his words remain cold and matter of fact.

"Again you are too soft hearted Rishi. We're not discussing some simple nation like Ysyr or Volivat. We're talking about a fundemental change to heaven and earth and the impact that has had. -Some- of those who may have once been there are dead yes. Some killed. Forced to reincarnate before their time. And the mortals - this beyond their understanding but the suffering that the world has endured -because- of what happened? That they can understand. You cannot simply brush that under the rug simply because some people might die in service of building something better. That number pales compared to the losses that came before it as a result of what's been built and what happened. Does justice not exist? Should that blood that was spent be ignored because someoe today might experience hardship in the process of -fixing- everything?"

He waves a hand, "The burden of the hardship that happens is ours to bear but to make a better world sometimes you will experience hardship. If you both want to stand before the likes of Raksi and Ma Ha Suchi and others and invoke change you're going to need a better reasoning then 'People might get hurt..' if you want to change their minds or convince your peers."

Rishi "We fight them, they fight us. They kill us, we kill them. This is not being a thing that is stopping until we are finding the better way. And we cannot be doing the finding until the fighting is doing the stopping! If the Shahan-yas are still holding tight to the last world, they will never be stopping until everyone is being dead!"
Tepet Makara As this topic seemingly does not have very clear solutions and their arguments all ways go around in circles, it disheartens him. "Rishi is sort of right in this since there is only a neverending cycle of war all because of past deeds that angered the surviving lunars of that time. The Shogunate and it's successor the Realm has did foul deeds even to it's citizens and other great houses, but if the Silver Pact tries to destroy the Realm. They will still suffer like they did under the Realm if the rulers that follow are tyrannical like a cruel Ragara or Sesus. I don't know if changing the Realm will ease it but it's worth the try, but if it's not enough then the blunt solution of war is needed even if some people will die. It's a reality that can never be changed no matter what"

"I think I'll just try to find a place in the Hundred Kingdoms or Sijan to practice necromancy, since I'm planning on building warmachines...I'll be taking my leave soon due to me being preoccupied" He certainly expected some disgust at his necromancy but not the argument on the grudges between exalted. "and yes, it's for the civil war before anyone asks. I can't trust my living army since their true lords are the Cynis. They are good men but I know they will turn on me if their house turns on mine.
