Raga Shrine-Crusher It's afternoon in the markets of Great Forks, stalls lining the multi-tiered city streets see residents moving to and fro throughout with one figure among them who might stand out anywhere else in a city so varied. Raga Shrine-Crusher, though known more by her title among cruel gods and demons, is passing by several food stalls as she stops to speak with one or another for some minutes at a time bartering for long-lasting food and even the odd piece of traveling gear. On her shoulder lies a hefty satchel of goods with uncertain contents that she occasionally puts something she's bought into.
Lintha Sennong Bakunawa A red haired mercenary with gills in his neck buying Western satay from a food stall. "Hmm, it seems they used substitutions for some ingredients but still tastes authentic" He comments on how this barbecue uses Eastern rather than that of his home direction but doesn't mind it at all. However it seems he is not alone, for there is a white haired man (although he doesn't seem to be old despite the color) dressed in noble clothes. "Bakunawa, are you sure I may meet other godblooded like myself here?

"His companion still gorges on the meat. "Well I don't which places of this city you have visited, but you'll find one eventually. I am technically a "god" blood Radamantus"

Tiziri Tiziri seems to be dressed as a dancer today, complete with the more scanty sort of outfit many styles wear. Midriff baring, almost diaphonous pants along with sandals, and a shawl with nice tassels on it. As is so typical for her the outfit is blue with orange accents and silver embroidery. She ends up stopping near a place selling musical instruments across from the satay food stall, looking over them for a moment. A thoughtful expression upon her face.
Raga Shrine-Crusher Passing by the meat stall, Raga turns to look at the other two shoppers though the woman in the dancer's outfit does briefly draw her gaze. "Where'd you first eat that?" she asks. "I'm about to head out myself in the next few days, sounds like you've been around." she explains, then offers her right hand while the left holds the massive bundle on her shoulder. "Raga" she says with a friendly grin.
Lintha Sennong Bakunawa "I actually tried this first back in my old home in the West. Since my operations are now in the Dreaming Sea, I miss eating these things. Satay is a Western barbecue that uses a variety of meats usually chicken and pork but rarely fish. They are usually accompanied by a peanut sauce" He comments while he continues eat but then he introduces himself.

Name is Bakunawa although the full name is a mouthful for some. I'm a mercenary captain usually working for the Guild, Champoor or Ysr"

Tiziri The dancer ends up picking up one of the stringed instruments to try and pluck around with it - this one a three stringed one with a big fan like tool to pluck the strings. It's obvious she doesn't know how to play, but definitely like she's trying to see what it sounds like. She ends up putting it back then looking to another, a smaller one like a harp. She starts to pluck at this one then too, still looking pensive about it.
Raga Shrine-Crusher "West! Huh, you're a long way from home." Raga says, "There's obviously a story there, but if you want to keep it to yourself I'm not going to push for it. Few things worse than someone nosing into private business you'd rather be your own after all." she offers with a shrug. "I'm off to Prasad, have either of you ever been there?" she asks.
Lintha Sennong Bakunawa "Well I don't really care if people believe the story I will tell on how I somehow manage to end up in the Dreaming Sea" Bakunawa chuckles but then glares at the mention of Prasad "Oh that nation, they aren't my customers for reasons since most of my encounters with them are unsavory"
Tiziri "Oh? Prasad?" The girl says as she puts the harp back and steps aside to the protest of the shopkeep. "I have. It's a wonderful, lovely assault on the senses. The smells. the colors! I love the fashion there, and the food might be my favorite of anywhere I've been. So many wonderful spices, even for a girl like me from even further to the South." Indeed, her accent is very heavily Dreaming Sea! "Though it can be pretty rough if you're not part of one of the ruling castes. They practically treated me like I was part of the Caravaners already, even if they haven't conquered my home yet, so far as I know. So in that way I was glad to get through."
Raga Shrine-Crusher "Everyone's got some story, each crazier than the last and most true as best they know how to tell it." Raga says, leaning against a nearby building. "I'll hear you out no matter what you have to say, Creation is a big place." she adds, then turns her gaze to the dancer. "Been there? I do want to see it for myself, but that doesn't sound... Great as-is. Part of why I'm going there, figuring out how they do things and if I need to help people work the system to get out. Or something else."
Lintha Sennong Bakunawa Lintha Sennong Bakunawa says, "Well my crew were mostly escaped slaves who fled from the authorities of my old cities. We fled so far we ended up in a bordermarch with a whirlpool that leads to the Dreaming Sea. Even if that's true, I'm baffled I survive it even with the blessings of a god similar to the Golden Lord" It seems he usually refer to this deity in a vague manner. "Since you are off the Prasad, what are your methods getting there?""
Tiziri "It's a part of the Realm. Sort of. But not really. Either way, the Princes of the Earth rule it, some better than others, as all such things. The Immaculate Order there is a bit different than here, but the point is it holds a lot of sway. For better or worse one of the true powers of the region. If nothing else a lot safer than Ysr or Volivat, never been to either but if they're half as bad as the rumors say, far better Prasad. At least they bring some order and prosperity for the common folk." The young dancer with the blue hair says in an almost scholarly sort of way. Then to Bakunawa, "Oh, I'm not from there. I'm from far to the south, a caravan town along the Dreaming Dea barely worth mentioning. As for how I got there, and here? The answer is right there. Caravans. Wanderlust took me and thus here I roam."
Raga Shrine-Crusher "No kidding." Raga says with an interested tone to her voice. "I'm thinking just going on food, paying anyone who might take me further on a cart or something. I'm tough enough to keep going so long as I've got supplies and maybe a donkey or something." she says with a grin, then raises an eyebrow at the mention of Ysyr and Volivat. "What /do/ the rumors say anyway? I wanted to see about Prasad and what they're doing but... Well, best to keep my options open." she observes.
Tiziri "That Ysyr has strange mutants created by their sorcerors." Tiziri responds, "And Volivat has an even stranger tradition of creating champions with multiple fathers who can somehow match a Prince of the Earth in battle. I've yet to see the truth of either, but where Ysyr is known? No one wants to find the truth back home, everyone fears it when their agents arrive, let alone their slavers. For no one wants to be changed into a monster at the whim of some sorceror. " She doesn't sound particularly scared, again, rather scholarly if anything. Possibly even strangely fascinated. Then, however, she looks at the sun a moment, "But I must be off, my break is almost over and there are things to do." She holds her hand up and as she walks away calls over her shoulder, "Good luck if you do try to find out, I'm sure it will be quite interesting! Any good journey is." Then she slips around a corner and is gone.
