Tepet Makara In the middle of the night somewhere in Great Forks, a scion of House Tepet has just finished praying to the Immaculate dragons in one of the few shrines in the city dedicated to them. While walking, he simply stares at the silver moon above as he heads for a quiet abandoned pavillion with barely no lighting in the middle of a pond. Despite being in the center of Great Forks, it is a private place for there are no houses nearby nor there are visitors in nighttime. It seems he is carrying a bag but once he unpacks, it seems to be a freshly killed goat?

A baffling cargo but it would seem normal if it was brought to a butcher instead of some creepy building. Then he begins chanting a ritualistic phrase as necromantic essence then slowly envelops the animal's corpse, although it is unknown what will happen next.

Serene Herald The Tepet has drawn attention, and so Herald has sought him out, to see and to learn more. Dressed darkly--though not in black, which stands out even in night--he makes his way towards the shrine as well, and then towards the pond. An interesting place! He makes his way along the side of the causeway towards the pavilion. Quiet in the night air, and with a large spider the size of a small dog walking along with him.

As the chanting starts, and Essence starts to flow, he frowns, testing it. A taste of death, of endings. "Wonderful. /Another/ deathnight? I surely hope not...but if not, then what..."

He is cautious, making his way closer to the pavilion, trying to avoid notice.

Tepet Makara Necromantic energies then merge with the goat corpse as it floats in the air, then its' bone contorts as it's very skeleton and blood turns against it. The deathly energies rots away the unnecessary parts and then it explodes but it's parts merge again into something else. It merges not into some sort of necromantic construct or zombie...but rather a weapon for the Tepet now wields an axe of ivory as he swings it around just for testing. "Hmmm I wonder what should I call this weapon when disguised, the Cleaver Of Sextis Jylis, The Viridian Slasher or the Barkdoom? My gods, I suck at names especially since the last one might be mistaken as being named after dog sounds instead of wood" He laughs with sarcasm and them something unexpected happens.

The skeleton axe then changes into a wooden axe albeit with the cackling with green essence and it seems to be made from divine trees. He disguises it with no effort and it can be mistaken as made of green jade. "Too bad I'll barely use this and the means of this spell requires a corpse

Serene Herald Herald watches, and listens, and slowly draws his own daiklaive. The sound of the metal is quiet as it comes out, but the long, thin blade is balanced in his hand. He remains poised, but gets to the threshhold and draws back into a defensive stance before speaking. "Please forgive the intrusion, honored sir," a voice says in flawless High Realm. "And also my drawn blade. I was curious, but then when you made your weapon and had it to hand, I thought it wise to have mine own.
Tepet Makara Unaware that he was watching him during his ritual, he mistakes him as someone who is simply walking around at night to enjoy the silence. "Oh Perfect Question, I was just invoking my green jade ax-" He recognizes the voice then he is quiet once he sees the blade in his hands as he didn't expect the scholar to be a swordsman at all. He sighs with relief as he thinks he didn't saw the axe's true form. "I didn't know you are a practicioner of the blade but that is expected for Creation is infested with dangers especially the Threshold. I know the ways of the blade, but I prefer spears, axes and tiger claws"

"Admittedly I was trying to seek you out due to something related to my brother but I was preoccupied with other matters. Mostly since I remember you are an astrologer right?"

Serene Herald "I am, yes, and not even among the Varang Pandits will you find any more skilled. Better equipment? Certainly. But no more skill than I have," Perfect Question says. He stays in a guard stance, but is still very polite.

"I recall you asking before. I said I hoped to have a precise time and place of birth for your brother. The more accurate, the better." He seems a bit nervous perhaps, but not truly scared. A slight grin, "I lik the precision of the sword myself," he says. And while it is large--almost certainly an attuned artifact for him to hold it with no effort--it is obviously not Orichalcum, Moonsilver, Jade, or Soulsteel. "If you would mind unreadying your weapon, I will do the same with mine."

Tepet Makara The "green jade" axe from his hand disappears as it seemingly dissipates into leaves but they are rotting into nothingness. "Sorry if I scared you. I was practicing how to invoke a weapon using my essence but too bad I cannot use it again since it requires a lot of concentration" Seeing the actual requirements for invoking the sword, it is a clear lie coming from his mouth. "I actually know the time and place he was born. It was in an estate in Lord's Crossing and it was during the month of Resplendent Year in it's 8th day during the middle of the night"

Then he notices that Question has some skills in a martial art but one that requires a daiklave. "I see you are trained in the ways of the blade although I am mostly trained with claws. I don't know what that art is, but it seems to be for daiklaves. I haven't heard of a mortal wielding such weapons of the chosen before"

Serene Herald Herald shrugs slightly and sheathes the blade with grace and precision--not a wasted movement. "All right. I shall look up maps and start plotting soon enough. And training with claws?" He thinks a moment, "Water Dragon is what first comes to mind, though it is strange for one who has taken a second breath--and not from one of the dragons--to practice it."
Tepet Makara "grr....Oh fucking shit" Makara realizes that his cover has been blown all because of an assumption his illusory powers are not needed right now. It will be embarrassing if this was revealed to other exalted of Great Forks. This is the first time his behavior and the tone of his voice went from princely dynast to feral beast once he realizes his mistake. "It seems I ignorantly thought I am alone here and I can use my powers freely, I admit I sometimes wish I can exit my guise to feel free. I may be a silver anathema but I have no intentions of ruining Lookshy or the Realm. As for my water dragon skills, a monk found some uses for me in his intrigues so I am his student"
Serene Herald "I owe no loyalty to the Realm or Lookshy," Perfect Question says. "As for anathema? The tales I have heard of Luna and her chosen are varied and wild, as befits her nature. Anathema? Those who serve death and the shadowlands, or those who serve yozis.../those/ are anathema," Perfect Question replies.
Tepet Makara "I see you are a mortal who does not snitch to the Wyld Hunt" Makara sighs while thankful that this mortal is no Immaculate bootlicker but he is curious about those of the yozis and the dead. "Yes, my kind is capricious indeed since some follow the Silver Pact and others follow their own path such as myself. I admit, I do not even speak of this to other lunars since I have my intentions to stand with House Tepet in the eventual civil war even if they do not know yet....and my master who I shall not speak of right now but I can assure you they aren't hell or deathly exalts but a dragonblood"

He then mutters something with sorrow. "But my past incarnation still affects me since he has delve into the knowledge of the Underworld before he was slain. I even inherited his knowledge in the form of that axe"

Serene Herald "Which is why you needed bone, blood, and flesh to shape it..." Question sighs, "Please pardon me. I am less comfortable with necromancy than I am sorcery. Or the Moon, for that matter. It was the working you did that caught my attention, and so I was following. As for your mentor? A good idea to disguise things with the Immaculate style." He smiles slightly.

"So you wish a horoscope cast for yoru brother, and I certainly can and will. Do I wish to know what you will do with the information?"

Tepet Makara He was not surprised he's watching but he slides it off. "It's a necromantic spell used to create weapons from a large enough corpse and thankfully it can work on animals since I admit using human corpses can be questionable" The necessities of necromancy can be icky to some after all. "I mostly learn necromancy in preparations for the Realm Civil War and...my past incarnation's student is out there. He has become bigoted to the point he wanted to slay dragonblooded with the bloodthirst of a shikari. Even I was disgusted with his deep hatred as I regret what my past self was doing. But I have no intentions of using my deathly arts to enslave souls, In fact I prefer banishing those to the cycle of reincarnation to willing ones"

"As for my brother, I was wondering what are his current affairs since he has been awfully quiet about it. He has been claiming he is doing things for the sake of the Tepet Iasomul household yet he keeps me and even some family members in the dark especially with rumors he's extorting money from patricians and peasants in Lord's Crossing"

Serene Herald "Fair enough...I will look and see what I can divine, then! And where shall I call on you when results I have?" Question takes the assurances at face value it seems.
Tepet Makara "Meet me back here, Greyfalls or simply a quiet bar somewhere in Great Forks." Makara says to Perfect Question on their possible meeting place when they meet again. "I thank you for not immediately attacking nor telling Immaculates of my true nature as a dragon of the silver moon. Not surprised if they get mad since I revere both Danaad and Mela alongside Luna for she is in the skies while her reflection is in the waters" Makara gives a thankful nod to the scholar but wonder what reparations he shall give. "I shall try to return the favor to you after the divination"
Serene Herald "Be at peace then, and I shall see what the stars have written in the sky about your brother. And word I will bring when I can, Tepet Makara," Perfect Question states formally.
