Misa It's a... surprisingly quiet evening given the hour. Perhaps it's tournament entertainment distracting the people, or perhaps it's the inclement weather keeping people off the streets to get here. In any event... even a decidedly un-ostentatious patron like Misa has found herself ushered into an enclosed booth- almost like a side room with sheer curtains across it.

For the moment she simply sits in the quiet, her sword resting in the corner away from the opening to the small room, and a small simple wooden flute on the table off to the side. There's something green and herbaceous about the scent of her tea, and a distant, mindful sort of look to the woman herself.

Bright Journey Alas, there's a limit to how un-ostentatious someone can be, and while Bright Journey is certainly not trying to flaunt anything right now--hood up, cloak closed against the rain--the simple fact is that some people do not go long unnoticed. Still, no one here is making a show of it. Perhaps they see well-dressed people in here all the time, or perhaps this is hardly Bright's first time here.

After a brief, polite, but perfunctory exchange with the maitre d', he also guides her to the same private booth. She acknowledges it with a smile and a word of thanks, but the smile doesn't quite reach her eyes--clearly, she's preoccupied and half lost in thought.

No bonus points for guessing what has to be on her mind.

She sits down with unconscious grace, and brushes back her black cloak's hood as the private booth's curtains are just settling closed again. Her voice is pitched low, so as not to carry, but there's a certain warmth in her speech, just the same.

"Greetings, Misa. Thank you for agreeing to meet with me," she murmurs. "I think you'll agree that maybe we should have a discussion slightly more private than the search we did the other night."

Misa She's a perceptive one, Misa- by the time Bright has sat down, there was already a freshly poured second cup available- a discerning person might pick up red clover and rose, and perhaps a hint of sweetleaf. Rather... unusual for anything Misa might have been noticed drinking before.

She shifts in her seat, shoulders moving slightly forward, attentive. She considers the other woman for a short moment, silent.

"I suppose there is enough to discuss. I will not claim ignorance of my appearance- I know I look like someone who might be outright in favour of a coming Wyld Hunt. For what it may be worth, I have my own reasons to prefer that that not happen."

Bright Journey Bright graciously accepts the cup and takes an appreciative sip. "Not bad," she says, "not bad at all. I admit this is not one of the blends I'd tried before. Thank you."

As Misa refers to the Wyld Hunt, Bright leans in a bit and listens, the sheer intent visible in her alert expression as she absorbs every word. As Misa finishes, Bright takes a long moment, and another sip, to compose her reply.

"Your appearance didn't escape my notice, of course, but considering the sights of Great Forks..." She pauses, chuckling a bit. "..And let's face it, the company I keep, I have found that it's best to judge people a little more carefully than simply, 'what's this person's lineage?' Let's assume for now that you are as interested in preventing a Wyld Hunt as anyone else here. The Three, for instance, would I'm sure be wroth. I haven't exactly gone to the bureaucracy and told them--nor will I--but I think you'll agree the city, and the Exigents, have a good thing going here. I would just as soon they never even think to come here. So it's in both our best interests to find whoever wrote that journal."

Misa And honestly, with the attention called to Misa's Lookshyan appearance... a clever ear might notice her accent doesn't quite match. It's a bit of a mix as one might expect from a traveller like her, but maybe if one knows the like well enough... might not fully explain it.

"That, or find out where a supposed hunt is coming from," she suggests in a tone far too casual for the suggestion. "Meet partway, let the conflict transpire farther afield. Though I have been told approaches like this are disfavored, by most."

She exhales slowly, considering the tea before her before sipping at it a moment. "A blend I have had in far-off lands, as an aside. Requested from the restaurant. But, on the subject of more preventive means- I suspect my next step would be to identify persons likely to have purchased information from this group before. Find a way from them to their contacts for said sales. And follow or convince them back to their place of operations. So on and so forth."

Bright Journey "Huh. I hadn't thought of that," Bright replies, thinking as she leans back a bit. She sips again, but her mind is somewhere other than the quality of the aroma. "You're right. I have to admit, you're much better at tracking down information this way than I am--I'm too used to asking people or reading books, I guess. But that doesn't help if you can't reason out what to ask.

"As for the idea of attacking a Wyld Hunt head on? You're certainly the first person I've ever met to suggest -that- as a serious strategy. I don't mean to belittle it--believe me, I have some friends who would be up for that action...and who would very likely win, not to mention my own small contribution. But that comes with a particularly bad caveat--I'm sure it's not as if Wyld Hunts don't keep records or tell people where they're going. For all of us, deceiving them is a -much- safer course. Especially in the long run. Also, I don't want to aggravate the Three, and that'd definitely put us on their list. In essence, if we can nip this in the bud, catch the person who wrote that journal before they can talk to an Immaculate Monk..." She pauses for a moment. "Hm. Actually, that's another important point. He may or may not have a point of contact already, right? What if he doesn't? After all, it's not like this is something he can just drop off at the first acolyte he sees, is it?"

Misa "Well- it can be... varied. Wyld Hunts are not the large, formal organization many think of them as," Misa notes thoughtfully. "They are... informal. Passing rumors up the social rungs to find someone who can marshal resources and organize the participants."

She exhales slowly. "I just wonder... depending on whether this hunt was by local outcastes, lookshy, the realm, or a passing Prasadi tribute caravan..." she muses, frowning slightly. "The resource depletion may be more broadly helpful. Largely were it the realm, given their internal strife."

She shrugs it off. "You strike me as a person of means- I suspect you may well have some of the contacts we may need to start."

Bright Journey Bright sighs and looks down into her tea. "I...look, Misa. In the heat of the moment, if my life is on the line? I've been in fights, and I've been in an actual battle...two really, and I've killed without hesitation. I have and will defend myself and those I love. But this...I don't know. Maybe I'm being too soft. But it feels like we should be looking for the way out that doesn't involve jumping a bunch of people first. Now...I'm not naive. They want their 'Anathema' dead. Maybe it's us or them." She sighs and sips her tea again.

"You're right, though, that before anything else happens, we have to find them. I could get some people talking, and not necessarily just those in power. After all, if you're looking for a six-toed man, you don't go to his king, you go to the cobbler. From the Arena end, paramount is figuring out who this person is. High up in the Nine Sheaves, but not the absolute top. And one who lost a young boy assistant recently. And from the Immaculate end, well, trying to track down incense and candles would be beyond useless in this town. I wonder if there's something they need that other religions don't. I...am not sure I know enough to answer that."

Misa "I would not bother with the religious angle, no- the immaculate faith is poorly represented and as you say- I would focus on the money, for all that cult activities are my specialty. This was a blatantly mercenary enterprise- bordering on the attitudes of the Guild." She shrugs, with that.

"I have no especially pressing concern as to what method we use- if finding the link is the preferred, I take no issue. Finding one of the other operations of this organization should indeed be priority- perhaps finding someone to feign a dispute that might attract more aggressive sales methods."

Fudou the Mountain The pounding footfalls of a certain gigantic lu--exigent, yes exigent, can be felt rumbling through the streets. It is a unique sort of cadence. A rumbling back and forth that marks his nearby presence but it's important tomake the distinction as he's not the only 'giant' around these days..albiet perhaps the most extreme of them.
Stealthy and subtle, however, he is not... His very passage shuddering the walls of booths and smaller structures alike though he's as of yet unaware of any nearby familiar faces, hidden away as they are.
Bright Journey The seismic rumbling of a man walking down the street outside? Yeah...that's impossible to miss, and Bright certainly has no trouble. She tosses her hair behind her in an unstudied but glamorous way, puts on a nice, ironic smile, and points one manicured thumb towards the direction of the street.

"Well, if you are looking to create a spectacle sure to impress the Nine Sheaves leadership..." She chuckles and leans out, her fresh, pale features and pink hair peeking out from behind the concealing drapery.

"Oi. Fudou! We need to talk to you, get in here!" Her voice is in a comically audible stage whisper. Definitely not always subtle herself.

Misa A faint smirk from Misa at the less than discreet invitation.

"Attention, certainly- but I am not certain they would take Fudou for a potential buyer. An easy one to collect information about, perhaps, though. Could be staged, as you say." She takes another sip of her drink, before looking at the modest pot it came from- and then up at the enormity that is their new conversational companion. "I am afraid I have not enough drink for his stature, however."

Tiziri A young blue haired woman in a blue qi-pao style dress is also approaching the teahouse. Though in her case, the steps are far more silent. Probably because she's tiny. That tends to help. Pretty much the opposite of Fudou. Needless to say she's already seen Fudou, probably part of why she's moving there. Though for now she's just being quiet.

Perhaps that's why she slips in behind Fudou, and then says, "Greetings." In her somewhat alto-pitched, impish little tone behind Fudou. Though she looks around to the others too, her wry little smile on her face too.

Fudou the Mountain "Heeeeeeey.."

Fudou's voice rumbles in with an almost languid tenor to its low bassy rumble. One might almost mistake him for being drunk but rather he's simply beig mildly silly. "Hello there ladies.. Are you wanting to make me look good this evening? Why..three's a party, is it not?" he notes before taking note of Tiziri, "Four! Four's a party!"

His eyes glance over the tea and he simply shakes his head, "Worry not luv, probably not strong enough for what I have in mind. I suppose i could always go to the Chateau of Resplendant Delights and find some entertainment there later if not some less opulant place that suits me just as well.."

He crouches down now, bringing his great figure closer to their own head heights so the three of them don't have to look up to see him. His voice lowers as well, in volume at least. This close it's probably vibrating them to the very pits of their stomachs when he speaks, "What is on your minds?"

Bright Journey Bright does at least have the courtesy to look mildly embarrassed at what she just did...but she also has the gumption to just let it go and see where it takes her. She gets a grin on her face and tugs (harmlessly) at Fudou's sleeve. "Come on in here," she stage whispers. "There's just enough room if we...yeah. Budge up there a bit, would you, Misa. Fudou's exactly who we need to talk to. Oh, and hello, Tiziri! Come on in too, if you can fit. I, uh...didn't plan for a fourth, but these booths will work if we can make sure to keep the curtain closed."

After much seat wrangling, Bright gets a dazzling smile and looks at Fudou and Tiziri. "Just who we needed to talk to. Get comfortable, this is important. First, Fudou, I know you know about the toy we found in one of the private ooths in the Arena, right? Tiziri knows, she was there with me at the time. Well, Misa here and I, and Amethyst and someone else we need to talk about, sort of ran across each other searching the Nine Sheaves office area. What we found was..." She chuckles. "Enlightening. Are you all with me so far?"

Fudou the Mountain "Yes you told me of the artifact and I was in the cave with you, Rishi and AMethyst... Allow me to speed this up for you." rumbles FUdou, still humored despite the fact that he's hunched over and filling the booth up. He smiles down at them, despite his next words, "You found evidence that the Consortium is funneling information back to the a customer on The Isle and have reason to think that some may be at risk from a certain group specializes in hunting those they don't like.."

It's a round about way of saying it but his point is clear.

"Amethyst shared this information with me and Black Pearl and I in turn shared it with Tiziri and Makara to warn them to be careful. There is another lunar ho has recently, foolishly, revealed herself whiel not knowing what's going on and I've warned her as well... You need not explain that further but if you've found something out from the journal you obtained I am all ears..."

Misa "You speak... quite freely of anathema and the like, Fudou. A passerby might even think you their associated," comments Misa with a wry smile. She shrugs it off for the moment.

"Yes, that is the long and short. We had been discussing methods to coax out a lead to this brokerage, from which we could follow the trail of communications and potentially head it off before anything overly untoward happens."

Tiziri "Good thing I'm small." Tiziri says. Perhaps as much a tease against Fudou as anything else. Or maybe just stating a fact. Because she is, indeed, on the petite side! And it is delivered in a real deadpan sort of way if humor was intended at all. Still, she makes sure to go towards the same side Bright or Misa is on. Easier that way.

Tiziri then looks to be a bit smug, or just impish, it's so hard to tell with how she's acting. "He is. But if many of us have a reason to be afraid, he's certainly not one of them. I'd say a better chance than many, probably." She giggles a bit, though she at least is keeping her tone quite guarded and quiet.

Bright Journey Her voice at its very driest, Bright Journey rests an elbow on the table and her chin in the palm of her hand. "Gee," she mutters, "I wasn't going to lead up to that or anything. Also, we know he's planning on selling it to the Realm, or specifically someone related to the Wyld Hunt, since they'd be the most interested. I'm not sure it specifically said they were on the Isle, did it? Sorry, I don't remember every little detail." She smirks slightly. "Be careful, though, when talking about Lunars who reveal themselves. Never know who's listening, right?"

Bright turns a bit more serious, now, though certainly still polite. "Now, before we go on, Misa, I think that point brings up something very important, something we really need to hash out before we go any further on this. No one questions your bravery. I've seen it numerous times, of course, and your talk of dealing with the Wyld Hunt directly is more than just lip service, I know. I also heard that you're a fine swordswoman and sifu. The concern I have is this: When the Wyld Hunt takes the field, there will be Exalted, sorceries, and plenty of chances for ordinary folk to die without even really being able to defend themselves. I won't ask if you have a reason to hate and fear those who murder 'anathema'. I will ask if you think you're up to seeing this through, up to and including facing off against the Exalted, if need be."

Fudou the Mountain THe dry voice just makes Fudou's grin that much bigger. It's as if the giant lunar loves teasing them.

"It was Amethyst who implied it was going back to the Isle. Maybe she was jumping to conclusions. She was very rattled..."

His voice trails off as he gets more serious as well, expression becoming more....neutral.."

When she addresses Misa, Fudou listens and then mmms a little bit, thinking. He then just shakes his head and speaks up though the questio was directed to Misa:

"If it comes down to a Wyld Hunt attacking, well, first...this sort of eventuality was unavoidable. We're going to have to fight and there is always risk fo crossfire but consider that if they are so brazen to attack us here -in- Great Forks and jeapordize the citizenry here and raise the ire of all of these gods and spirits, let alone The Three, then that becomes a whole different matter.

Fudou gestures absently, though not dismissive, "Safety of'ordinary folk becames just part of a larger problem that goes far beyond just...any who may be here exposed to them. I don't believe the Wyld Hunt would risk that. This is no hamlet where they've gotten word of a confused newly exalted solar. I am not saying we should hide here behind that but I don't think the possiblity of collateral dmage should be a factor here. Not because we don't care but because at that point our hands have already been tied."

FUdou gestures lighlty behind his shoulders, a vague indication towards the city gates, "Your only other option is to relocate and perhaps draw their attentio to another location but that says nothing of those of our peers who aren't exactly closely aligned here or have shared goals. We aren't the only ones in Great Forks after all."

Misa A raise of the brow from Misa- though admittedly with the heavy fringe of hair over her forehead, the dark space the quartet occupy, and the looming shadow of Fudou, the expression might be difficult to see. "Would I have made a suggestion similar to the one Fudou just made had I not some level of acceptance of the risks?" she questions, head tilted a little.

"But as the moment stands, I think the situation suggests pursuing the organization first, as that can be done in tandem with waiting to see if a hunt even comes calling. As I noted- there is no... set contact to speak to, generally. More a principle and call to action than a standing faction. Likely, yes, but how much can be organized on what scale with what timing is... questionable. Which just gives more reason to want to search down this information."

She stands, then, gathering her affairs and, rather than squeeze past two people on one side or a giant on the other, manages to quite cleanly and neatly vault the table entire with hardly a few fingertips for support in her motion- and nary a mark from her sandals in an untoward place. "On which note... I may begin some preliminary searches, do make sure to let me know if and when you are able to lure out some form of lead."

Tiziri Tiziri watches this with that same little grin on her face, though perhaps a little more of a curious glint to her gaze to go with slightly narrowed eyes. Oh, she's interested, there's no ifs, ands, or doubts about it. Misa's answer doesn't change her expression at all, but she does move to help Misa get out if it makes it easier, offering a smile. "Nice to see you again. Perhaps another time. I know we've much to discuss." She adds.

"Fudou makes a good point, and frankly, the possibility grows by the day too. I'll add I have... tools at my disposal if the Hunt comes. Tools I intend to use. I will not let them subdue me, or even escape to let others know. This may, by nature, mean there is a lot of damage." She pauses a moment for effect. "Of course, such is unlikely to happen in the city. Or if it does, things get very, very complicated. I don't want to deal with that if it happens. All the same, I'll not let myself fall." A little shrug. "Naturally, I doubt there is much a Dynast could do to stop me even here, especially if we both tried to keep it subtle, but still."

Bright Journey Bright Journey smiles faintly, though the sigh underneath it is perfectly visible, too. She makes no move to stop Misa from leaving, belatedly nodding in reply.

"Of course, Misa. Do please let us know if you find out anything yourself." But, of course, by the time she can get all that out, Misa is essentially gone, or close to it.

"Ah well," Bright says philosophically. "I fear that was my fault. So excited to share everything with you two that I didn't think what Fudou sitting by the entrance must have looked like to her. My apologies."

Fudou the Mountain "I doubt me sitting here was why she left..." muses Fudou, rubbing his jaw.

But he leaves it at that and simply says to Bright, "Making sure information has passed between those we interact with is wise. As I said, there are others around who aren't necessarily on the same page though I've done my part to make sure they're aware. I'll note, though, that I don't think Raullaur knew... I don't think he'd have not fought using his weapons though, gold that they are. He's never been shy about having the material so if there was cause to suspect him that ship has long sailed..."

Tiziri "Yeah, it was probably me. I do cast an intimidating presence." Tiziri quips. Her grin remaining as impish as it was before as she says that. She listens quietly for the rest though, before starting to nod and going on. "I think you're right. Raullaur cares not for revealing himself anymore. He's who he is, and that's all that matters. I can have a respect. Having an army helps. Though it may make things complicated too. Perhaps. Or useful. It remains to be seen."
Bright Journey Bright nods in reply, finishing her tea as she does so. "Hm. I think she's better at curating tea than I am. I might find that slightly intimidating myself, actually. Anyway, thanks for stopping by, both of you. I should explain a couple things. First, before you both came in, Misa had actually suggested that we track down the Wyld Hunt before they showed up at our doorstep. Intercept and destroy them away from the city. I think if they're already coming...I could see the need, but if we can get away with deceiving them instead I'd prefer we do it that way. No chance of angering the Three or drawing even more attention to the city that way.

As for Raullaur...yes. I think you two are right, he is not being subtle anymore. I just hope it doesn't cause problems for all of us down the line. It's hardly a secret that we're all friends, you know? If they wanted to actually harm us, they would try to pick us off one at a time, and that means identifying all of us first. Which makes our main goal right now--figuring out who wrote that journal--all the more important."

Fudou the Mountain "Delaying it until it happens again...." muses Fudou. He then shrugs and frowns, "It is a reality that you are all not some army of full moons or dawns but....keep in mind that eventually you're going to have to fight. All over Creation this is happening...and here we are, gathered and not small in strength. It's entirely feasible to simply plan to lure them into a trap, yes, and move to make a statement. Did this not happen in The North? I heard rumors to that effect..."

He considers matters and then nods his head, "..But there's wisdom in manipulating the situation and avoding conflict if one isn't ready for it or willing. If it can stopped then so be it but..I would say that if you do gain control over the information it should be used for more then just simply sending the Hunt away but a step towards dismantling it and weakening it."

Tiziri "A beacon is useful in the right circumstances, if nothing else." Tiziri notes. Leaning back in her chair. "I agree about intercepting too. It was something I've discussed already. Soemthing I feel my kind are... uniquely suited for as well. Me, especially." There's a confidence about her in saying that. "Though I don't want to, if only to keep from revealing myself. Sadly, I'm starting to think the time may be too late for that. Not if they already heard. I'm almost certain they know my voice if nothing else. Probably more."
Bright Journey Bright looks, if anything, even more concerned. "Fudou, please, -please- be careful. Yes, I know we're going to have to fight. But if we were to even think about taking a group of them out, absolutely no one can know it was us or even trace it back to Great Forks. I do not exaggerate at all when I say our way of life would be ruined if the Realm feared Great Forks the way it fears the Bull of the North. I'm serious about this. They -cannot- know we were involved. No matter what we do, we have to do it in a way that draws suspicion away from us here, not the other way around.

"Now, that said, I think we're more than capable of doing it if we had to. We have to make sure we take control of the situation as soon as possible and keep control throughout. I wonder if we could make it look like the work of, say, the Field of Endless Raitons. Hm. It's a thought, at least."

Bright pauses to rest her elbows on the table, fingers interlaced, chin on her hands. "As for keeping a lid on the information they overheard...well, we still need to do our best to take control of that. Finding out who has the information is key. I wonder if there's a Nine Sheaves big shot who hasn't shown up to work lately...had an assistant boy who's gone missing...? Those are questions we should be able to answer. And with the right sorcery, I can ask those questions and leave them not knowing they were asked. Maybe if we're lucky, we can intercept him before it gets to the Immaculates. All we can do is follow the trail as best we can..."

Fudou the Mountain "IF your concern is this great about what could happen this is what you need to do.." Fudou leans forward, pressing a finger onto the table to push his point further. The table rocks gently as he leans in, "You need to find out every celestial exalt that is in the city that might be at risk and get them all on the same page. Did you know I recently met a lunar whose shahan-ya has a secret school of sorcery somewhre in the city? And we have no idea where those empowered by Malfeas are at present. This is to say nothng of the many others whom we don't personally know. We are not some unified deliberative. Circumstances have made you close to some who you have aided but it goes beyond that quite considerable and they all do not see eye ot eye on how to deal with the wyld hunt. There is no true 'us' Bright Journey and some are going to want to just deal with the problem and be damned if The Realm fears Great FOrks because they want to deal with The Realm as well. If you want to encourage everyone to be on the same page then it's not Raksi you need to be planning to meet. You need to get all of your local peers on the same page or it's not going to work."

He leans back and gestures absently, "You have to consider that The Wyld Hunt may not be prepared to deal with what we have to offer. At the end of the day that's crucial here because if seizing the information fails and they come and we're unprepared that's a much different situation then if we are at least prepared to deal with them while also trying to manage the information leak. We shouldn't understimate the Wyld Hunt but can they really muster the force to destroy -prepared- anathema of experience working in concert? Perhaps we've tip toed around Great Forks enough. If not here then somewhere else but it's -going- to happen."

Tiziri "The gathering here dwarfs those present in my Shahan-ya's realm." Tiziri starts, equally quietly. "And that's just those I know. I'm pretty sure we dwarf that of the Bull of the North's circle too." She goes on. "Quite frankly, I feel we could begin to make the Realm quiver if we wished." She seems confident in such too. "Again, I prefer silence myself. Yet if it is time, then I will not hold back, and when I do show my strength, they will shake. For I will demonstrate to them something they were not expecting."

She looks upwards for a moment, and take a deep, sad breath. "I hate to place it that way too, yet it is the truth. If the time comes, I was hoping it would be in the War of the Caul when I was ready. Yet if it must be here, I shall shatter the Wyld Hunt before me."

Bright Journey "Hm," Bright muses as she listens, unpacking everything mentally as she listens. Her expression is confident, firm. She looks at both Fudou and Tiziri, thoughtful but unbowed.

"First of all, I think we may be talking about two different things, Fudou, when it comes to the fight itself. I'm sorry if I made it sound like I was referring to the actual battle, the defeat of the Wyld Hunt sent to deal with us. Frankly, I have no doubt we would win...even crush them. I agree that we are far, far stronger than even an experienced Wyld Hunt is really prepared to deal with, especially if we work together. My concern was far more about what the Realm does in retaliation for such a defeat. If they start throwing -legions- this way...well, you see what I mean. I'm hoping that the Realm as a whole doesn't focus its attention here. My point is even if we win our lives will never be the same. It sounds, though, like that's something you two embrace. Make no mistake, I have a lot I intend to accomplish, but I think I can do so without sacrificing my home. I suppose I'll need to put that into perspective, though...because you're right. It can happen. And it could happen even if we're successful.

"But that's a good segue into something else, my goal of bringing everyone together as one to defend Creation. That is...well, it's my -calling-, not to put too fine a point on it. There is no rallying the Exalted of Great Forks -instead- of speaking with Raksi because there is no compromise. I must do both. Fortunately, I'm perfectly capable of that."

She gets a big grin and eyes Fudou. "So. This is the part where you tell me absolutely everything you know about this Lunar, her shahan-ya, and this sorcery school to boot."

Fudou the Mountain "I don't nkow much about Anointed Starfall personally just that he runs a school quietly somewhere in the city. His student, Selena, has recently returned and it was she who made a bit of fuss along with Makara during my match..."

Fudou frowns at that. Annoyed. He didn't get to expedrience the accolades of his victory as much as he would have liked due to that attention grabbing display>

"I caught up with them all later and talked with Selena more directly. You'll have to try and meet her yourself to see if her teacher is willing to reveal himself but to that point..it is a reminder that, as Tiziri has implied....there's much that is under our noses because Great Forks allows for it.."

fudou sighs and shrugs and nods to them both, "I can understand wanting to maintain the status quo but I suppose you're right...maybe it's in our nature to be more easy to simply drop it all and create new identities. It's what we do, after all. But....thre's something to be said for stability. I don't disagree with you and would never challenge your calling. Perhaps we are discussing two different possiblities but even then..they may not be so far apart from each other when all is said and done..."

Tiziri "At this point? I wonder if maybe the Realm does nothing. I worry if they do though, yes. But they haven't been able to subdue the Bull of the North, and he did something similar. They haven'r reacted to Thorns. Something different, but something for Legions." Tiziri says thoughtfully. She purses her lips, "Honestly, I'm more worried about what other attention we'd draw now. Other powers that are more secretive, but perhaps more threatened by us too."
Bright Journey "Anointed Starfall and Selena," Bright replies. "Good to know. I will keep an eye out for them. Honestly, if I wanted to convince Selena, I imagine I could do so with little trouble. Her mentor may be a different matter, but it's not as if I'm their enemy. It's just a matter of convincing them of that. You're right, though, Fudou...I keep thinking that I know about the Exalted of the city, and the truth is I'm part of one clique of many. Perhaps I -have- been getting complacent. Also, don't worry, Fudou. I think you're right--we're not that far apart. I do crave some semblance of stability, but the truth is...all of us are young, and if we can manage to live...we will see change on a scale that normal people never will. To some extent, I have to be ready to accept change. While I love Great Forks and I do not intend to ever willingly sacrifice it, I have to accept that circumstances might overtyake us. Especially now, if we can't intercept that sale."

Bright pauses, looking at Tiziri. "...Hm. You know, I hadn't thought of that. I think I need to learn more about how this kind of thing works. Might give me some insight into the Great Forks system as well, that might be useful. You both might be right that their resources are already stretched thin and one Wyld Hunt, depending on the size, might not result in war. Especially since a legion sent here is one that is not defending against other Houses, right?

"As for other threats...well, more so than the Realm, those are what I really want to rally us--and by us I mean all Exalted that love Creation--against. The Deathlords, the Yozi, the Fae..." She chuckles. "Tax collectors. You know, spawn of pure evil. Anyway, I'm loathe to give any more speeches before I cool my throat with this excellent tea. Be a dear and pass the carafe, Tiziri, please?"

Fudou the Mountain "I believe Selena is willing to help. From what I've seen and heard from her thus far I think she'd want to meet you and hear you out. She is interested in whatever palns may exist to deal with our problem and may have more insight. Her Shahan-Ya...well...I will let her explain him to you. Perhaps that'll be a good pre-emptive test before Raksi..."

Fudou rises now. Sort of. HE basically begins backing out now while grinning once more. "And now..I take my leave. We will speak again...all of us...soon.."

And with that, the giant is gone.

Tiziri Tiziri reaches for the tea then, leaning forward and holding it to pour for Bright Journey. Proceeding with small talk afterwards!~
