Lin Late afternoon, Lin's workshop is definitely open - one can tell as the chimney is clearly puffing out the smoke of charcoal flame. The door is unlocked, the sin is flipped to display 'open.' Come on in?

Of course, Lin herself is hard at work behind the counter. Unlike previous visits, she is not hard at work herself exactly, but instead is directing a number of strange creatures. Some are dwarfish, ugly, mis-shapen red-skinned critters - all probably male? - with pointy ears and beady yellow eyes, all of them gathered 'round the forge built into the center of the workroom floor, and working on various arms and armaments. The other bunch are.... clearly female humanoids. Most of them short, lean women with feathers featured prominently on their forms somewhere, and hair made of flame, who are working on the other side of the forge, working on projects of glass...

Lin herself isn't idle. She is standing south of the forge, back towards the entrance, occasionally critiquing the work and offering advice with quick and sharp but supportive remarks. It's a noisy and smelly affair, the air reeks of burning and sweat and scorching hot metal and glass that assaults the senses like few other things can...

Rishi The bell jingles as an enticingly musky perfume wafts in. The woman that walks in appears to have a leather cloak around her shoulders, before they open up and reveal a pair of bat wings ...and a very shapely body wearing very little clothing. She smiles and waves a greeting at Lin, before her expression changes to that of astonishment. "I am being most impressed!" She turns to Lin "Is it not being difficult to be keeping that many of the demons and the elementals on 'the task,' Lin?"
"Oh, before I am forgetting, my reason for the coming here. I am wishing to be having the the thing made and I am having some of the Silk of the Hell to be doing the trading for it." She slumps slightly. "Though I am thinking that is not going to be worth the much, at doing the seeing of this. But...maybe I am having the something else I could be doing the trading of? Is there anything you are doing the needing of?"
Grave Saint After another sermon in Great Forks, Higanbana wanders into the more industrialized parts of this little heaven in Creation. Once she enters the shop out of curiosity, she is baffled to see flaming women and dwarfish creatures working around here although that peaked her interests. She wonders what she can order in this shop.

But once she enters, the "Wood Aspect" then sees another visitor. A winged woman with little clothing. "Good morning, I thought I was the only visitor here" The lady in a black kimono with red spider lily patterns introduces herself. "Didn't expect to see spirit workers in the shop but this is Great Forks after all"

Lin Hearing the bell ring, and turnign to see the two ladies entering... Lin blinks a few times, then smiles and turns about, signaling to her workers to keep at it... which they certainly do.

"R-Rishi, wasn't it?" She asks to double-check once she reaches the counter with a look towards the person she's really only ever met once in Raullaur's company. "Oh, no trouble at all. The Heranhal love this kind of thing... a little easier to deal with than the Flame Ducks, actually. I'm hoping to start having the Heranhal show me some of their special crafts soon but we're working on a big project right now..."

Planting both hands on the counter she leans in, "As for what I charge for services, well, first I'd need to know what exactly you'd like done...?"

Then she turns towards the other visitor, Higanbana, and offers a brilliant smile of welcome. "This workshop employs all kinds. I'm looking to expand once I have a fair idea how best to scale out. At this hour it's just the spirits though. We're practicing for something big... now, what can I do for you?"

Rishi The other woman's smile slips slightly and her furred tail twitches for a moment as she sees the Wood Aspect, before she turns to her, grins and says "Ah! It is nice to be meeting you! I am being Rishi, Chosen of the Lady of the Changing Waters, one of the many of those blessed by the Gods here. And you are being...?"
"Ah, yes, of course Lin. I am being most sorry." She smiles at Lin, glances over at the DB, then says "...It is being somewhat of a private matter...but I was being told that the makers of things are liking to be having the 'design documents', yes? So, I did the writing of this." And she hands Lin a small sheaf of papers.

It's...abundantly clear that this person has no idea what proper engineering design looks like, but ...she does seem to have an excellent grasp of occult theory and practice. Assuming Lin is translating properly, it looks like she wants a set of artifact armor, made from Hell Silk and Black Jade, and designed to reshape itself into any kind of clothing. Possibly with some things that make it more attuned to sneaky stuff.
Grave Saint "Bleeding Higanbana, Wood Aspect songstress and priestess of my small religion dedicated to the worship of Sextis Jylis, the great dragon of life and death. He-Who-Shall-Usher-The-Final-Harvest. I actually sang during the arena once but I have been preoccupied lately" She introduces herself, even if the interpretation of one of the Immaculate Dragons is questionable at best thanks to the association with death.

"Ah an exigent! Funnily enough, the shrine in my higanbana field used to be owned by a chosen of red spider lilies....and funeral customs. Sorry if I barged in here, was mostly checking the store"

Lin While Rishi is talking with Higanbana, Lin glances over the details, reading them quickly. "Black Jade and... that's an unusual combination for abilities like that. Moonsilver is usually what's called for but... with that silk, it might just be possible..." Lin's heard murmuring her thoughts over the design...

She glances briefly between the two - Rishi, and her design - unable to hide the puzzled expression over this. "Do... do you have these materials? I can get the Silk in a little over 10 days if all goes well, but Jade is pricey... I'll probably have to get the Guild involved for something like that." And they are charging a LOT for Jade right now, thanks to the Realm trying to snatch up as much as it can...

She does nod an acknowledgement in Higanbana's greeting, though. "Lin. ... Short for Reilin, I rarely use the full name in this town." One can probably notice a twitch of confusion at seeing death associated with Sextes Jylis, but Lin's not about to question a priestess to her face in THIS town... "Oh, it's fine. That's why we've got the browsing area."

Just as Lin starts to raise her arms she lets out a shrill note of surprise as movement ruffles down her sleeves and... and a little rodent peeks its head out from the sleeves as it slides down and onto the counter. It's... a very healthy-looking mouse. Slightly larger than the sort one often sees. Brown fur radiant with health and life, sleek and shiny from a good diet. Depending on the angle one views it from, they might see that sigil of gold is drawn on its back, though you'd need to get a good look to make out what the sigil depicts...

"Leo?" Lin asks down at the little critter. It rises onto its hind legs briefly, cleaning its ears with both paws while looking between the two ladies... it's soon skittering across the counter and towards Higanbana like it's on the warpath and ends up on the counter's edge facing her as close as it can get without jumping off or broaching her personal space.

She might get the weird feeling that this mouse is staring at her. Whiskers twitching and nose sniffing the air judgementally...

Rishi "Oh! It is nice to be meeting you! I think I have heard you do the singing once, yes. You have a most lovely voice!" She headtilts, thinking, her long waterfall of hair flowing across her back and wings almost like water as she does so. "If you are having the time, I would enjoy doing the speaking with you about the Immaculate Dragons. I am not having much of the knowing of them and it is being most difficult to be learning more of them here. A friend of mine is being a worshipper and I would like to be doing the talking with her, but I am not having the knowing of enough." Rishi smiles sheepishly, though, given her fangs, that's a worrying sheep.
"Oh, materials? I am actually having plenty of the Hell Silk and I...think I can be getting the Jade. Can you be handling the doing of it? If you can be, what will you be doing the charging?"

"Oh you having the most adorable of the mice!" She smiles at the mouse. "May I be doing the petting?" Rishi headtilts when the mouse reacts to Higanbana and gives the wood Aspect an odd look.
Grave Saint The chosen of "Sextis Jylis" feels weirded out by this strange mice's attention. She is tolerant of such critters even if they are dangerous such as snakes or bugs but something feels off about this critter. "I assume this is the Leo you mentioned? I've only known it through obscure tales although I'm not fond of them that much....due to a god associated with them" However she realizes what this mice which oddly unnerved her judging from her expression of disgust. "Ah you have some interests in Immaculate religions? I may not be the most uhm orthodox follower but I do know of it's doctrines."
Lin Lin's, at first, puzzled by the way that her familiar is behaving towards Higanbana... but she does intervene quickly. "Leeeeooooo," she announces, tone lightly chiding and firm but still kind and pleasant, "Don't go making the customers uncomfortable on me now." The little critter hears her and drops down onto all fours again, relenting the strange fixation without incident...

Although in hindsight, it's probably hard to imagine any kind of incident stemming from a mouse... probably. Lin bows her head apologetically towards Higanbana. "Please excuse him, maybe he's smelling something alarming on you." Like cats? No, mice would likely run from the smell of cats... "... or alluring?" Lin didn't see the judgemental look head-on, after all...

Whatever the case, the little mouse darts back towards Lin but this means he stops in front of Rishi. "If he lets you." Lin answers her.

He will, but only after a good bit of sniffing will he lean into it and start squeaking. Or if offered something to munch on.

"And in that case... we'll have to discuss that once it's done. By that I mean... I've never made something this strange, and its properties are on the odd side. It might not come out the way one would hope and I can't charge for something that weird..." She starts blabbering, finally losing a bit of composure and speaking more freely...

Rishi Rishi headtilts at the sight of the sun symbol on the back of the mouse, then looks at the Dragon Blooded. And sniffs a little. "Mayhaps it is being your scent that is doing the bothering of the mouse? They are not doing the liking of the Spider Lilies." Then she blinks. "Are you not being the Priest of the Immaculate Dragons? Did you not say you were the servant of the Dragon of the Wood?"
Rishi leans over to pet the mouse, her chest swaying as she does. She strokes the mouse, not too hard, and pulls out a bit of dried fruit from her satchel for him. Then she looks up at Lin. "Well, then if you will be doing the trying to be making it, I will be owing you the favor. And, to be starting with..." She pulls from her satchel several spindles, each wound with white silk though it has an odd brassy sheen to it. "Will this be enough? Or will you be wanting the more?"
Grave Saint "Possibly, the flowers I am associated with are associated with graveyards to prevent animals from going after the graves beneath the grounds. I am an Immaculate priestess but my theology is a bit different and the fact that I consider the dragons as gods, even if those of the Immaculate Order discourages such notions as they are examples to be followed." She explains while continuing more.
There are many Immaculate offshoots out there after all. Mine is one of many for we follow a shining path that will lead to a day with no more suffering"
Lin "The Immaculate Dragons, and the Elemental Dragons, are two separate things." Lin answers in a clear and careful tone. "Separate and yet not. Though it is easy to conflate the two, the Immaculate Dragons are said to be incarnations of the Elemental Dragons... something quite different from an Elemental actually taking on human forms like the Flame Duck ladies at work behind me." She gestures once more to the flame-haired women with green skin and feathery arms who are working on some large statue made of many globs of glass. It's forming up to be what might be very abstract art... kind of mesmerizing to look at, a collection of glass bubbles fused together, its ultimate purpose unclear for now...

"It's no less possible than a few other tellings about spirits and heroes incarnating or reincarnating... still, I profess to have never heard of Sextes Jylis, in Elemental or Immaculate form, being celebrated quite like this before... not that I'm in much of a position to question the Wood Dragon on the matter."

As she reaches that conflusion, she speaks in hushed concern in an aside over to Higanbana, "There IS an Immaculate temple squeezed in at the edge of the temple district. It's not well-received in these parts, but you may wish to stay well clear of them. They're jumpy enough already."

Turning back to Rishi... she smiles at the produced materials. "That should be enough. We can start with that and see how some initial designs turn out. Though with something this strange, we should go over the fine details together in private later... artifice of this scale isn't a simple matter."

Rishi "Ahhh, very interesting." Rishi nods. "Well then, you can be seeing how little I am having the knowing of. I would still be wishing to be hearing more of your religion when you are having the time."
Rishi nods "Then we can be doing the setting up of the meeting and doing the discussing of it in the Private, yes, when you are having the time." She smiles "Thank you very much for the accepting of the comission."
Grave Saint "Hmmm a meeting between two priestess of different faiths? Interesting, I'd like to know more about your faith as well while I tell mine. Hopefully we can meet in another time but I have to go since it seems I lost track of time" Although she is wary at first, she accepts the proposal.
"I don't know where we will meet again but either my shrine in the outskirts of Great Forks or your choice"
Rishi Rishi smiles at Higanbana, nodding. "I am having the knowing of the spell, Messenger of the Infallability. I will be sending you the message and we can be working out the meeting time." then turns to Lin, "I will do the messaging of you too, to be further discussing things." She smiles. "Thank you for your consideration!" And she waves before heading out.
