Tepet Makara Another night in the Hundred Kingdoms above a silver moon. Somewhere in the myriad nations of the region, sits another abandoned small city that's the graveyard of another kingdom fallen thanks to it being drowned by conquest or other disasters. Although not a shadowland, it is ripe with graveyards for it attracted the attention of an exalt.

One of Luna's children clad in a marriage of soulsteel and moonsilver arrive from the skies. The Lunar resembles a komodo dragon folk yet he has the bright wings of a pterodactyl. His skin is marked with moonsilver tattoos written in Skytongue which is ironic for the animals used in his shape are from tropical regions such as the West and Southwest.

Once he lands, he begins muttering some sort of spell for deathly energies slowly converge into his hands.
Ignis As fate would have it there is another who makes his way through this area who is worthy of attention. Circumstances have kept him away from the flurry of events in Great Forks aside from brief journeys back there during this season of competition and trying times. For now, he journeys in search of something more pressing, to him at least, then the accolades for the mighty and the attention champsionship brings. He search for the past.

Being a sort of Scavenger Lord helps with getting rumors and information and the history of Creation is writ large all across its expanses, even here in THe Hundred Kingdoms. An ancient necropolis, long buried, is not far and the entrance may hold the clues he's been seeking...and so Ignis is near when the great beast descends and the air seems to prickle in anticiupation of the necromantic power being summoned. Needless to say the area was chosen wisely as death is around with said tomb of kings nearby.

"What goes on here?" Ignis turns from his current path and looks over in the direction of where the beast landed. He pauses, curious, and ready to keep moving...but then turns to move in that direction.

Tepet Makara "Oh corpses buried under Pasiap's bosom, hear me!" The necromantic energy begins slowly seeping into the graveyard nearby as the winged reptilian beastman's forehead glows with the mark of Luna's war aspect, the Full Moon. He continues chanting as the spell is being weaved. "In the name of the crone in the crossroads, one of Luna's many faces, I give you false life"
Ignis The approaching swordsman pauses. Nearly freezing as his blood runs cold. He hears that..asees the rising hue of silver and hears the crying out of the lunar warrior.

For nearly anyoen else this is very much wrong place at the wrong time but Ignis holds at a point of decision. There are villages not far. Tribes and such that no doubt would be afraid to come this way but is there a greater plan at work that could be putting them at risk?

"One of Luna's own...but..." he mouths before finally making a decision and proceeding forward.

As he moves he reaches to his back and loosens the bindings on his daiklaive. The weapon gleams softly at his touch, as if wakening from a slumber but he merely keeps his grip on it as he starts to draw in closer and closer, drawing nearer to the immediate area of the spell being cast and the towering figure within its center.

Tepet Makara "With this mockery of the state of living, I bind you as my servants and now rise from the dead!" His caste mark and his moonsilver markings both in his skin and armor glow brightly like a malignant moon heralding omens. Then, hands pierces the grounds as zombies from the grave digs out of the ground. The shambling corpses slowly approach their master but stops under his command. "Hmm that was a bit quicker than last time so practice makes perfect I guess. Too bad this army will fade in dawn"

The draconic lunar grins with his teeth dripping paralytic venom as he is satisfied his spell was complete even if it will expire at the sun's first shine in the morning. "I need to research on making a more....permanent undead army next time" He says, unaware of uninvited watchers being nearby

Ignis "Impressive feat!" calls out Ignis as he draws closer now. His blade is drawn, a gleaming daiklaive of blue's and golds while his jacket reveals the onyx and gold of his armor worked richly into his garments. He holds the sword to his side, tip to the ground as he approaches the zombie horde with the confidence of one intending on putting them back into the ground if needed at a moments notice.

But his walk remains casual and slow...aggressive by presence of weapon perhaps, but nevertheless seemingly willing to talk with this master necromancer and his horde over assumign the worst.

"Granted, I don't like jumping to conclusions but...there are several settlements within eash marching distnace of this horde and a rumored necropolis to a long lost king not far from here. In fact I wonder if these corpses were once those of armies that fought in this land so tell me...if ou will..what is your intention with this act?"

Ignis smiles as his brow shines with the sigil of the dawn, "Luna's chosen are as mercurial as they are devestating after all but...I get rather concerned when I see the dead walking."

Tepet Makara Once he hears of the stranger's words, he turns around and snarls at the visitor while his servants are on guard on what this stranger will do next. "Grrrr intruder! And I thought this abandoned city was empty enough that I can practice my deathly arts in peace! Is there nowhere in the East where I can hone my skills!" It seems this isn't the first time the Lunar was spotted using necromancy. However as he sees the daiklave, his worries increases.

"A daiklave? You are an exalt aren't you? My intentions are merely nothing more than practice. This undead horde will fade to ashes once the rising sun arrives anyway. I am not some wannabe conqueror or uniter of the Hundred Kingdoms. I will attract the Wyld Hunt coming from Greyfalls if I do so or possibly hidden Looksyan outposts"

Ignis "Creation is vast but The Hundred Kingdoms is not unknown for its population centers. AFter all, it's in the name no? The Hundred Kingdoms?"

Ignis voice is firm and matter of fact. Neither teasing nor chiding but he does add, "...That's quite the practice. A spell to raise the dead. It's terrifying so missio accomplished...but...such a display is bound to attract some attention. I'll admit, though, that fate would have to be involved for a chance encounter quite like-this-. I am an exalt, yes... Is that all you noticed?"

Ignis raises his eyebrows at that and then taps his forhead. He had allowed the blazing sign of the dawn to show after all and his weapon gleams gold even in the darkness before sunrise.

"You might attract the hunt, true enough, but that's part of the risk of our business. At least you have an army at your disposal."

Tepet Makara "A dawn caste solar. Interesting. I shouldn't be surprised that the Hundred Kingdoms and the Scavenger Lands in general are filled with hidden exalts. I even heard of a few minor lunar dominions in the kingdoms." He commands his undead horde to stop for now as the visiting solar doesn't seem to be a threat yet. "I would have practiced this art in the Field Of Endless Raitons near Great Forks but it is risky for I may be mistaken as an agent of the Mask Of Winters." He sighs for there is no other location where he can wield his necromancy without attracting attention.

"Hmm I should introduce myself" He has some hesitation whether he should reveal his name but had other ideas. "I am Venom-Dragon Tyrant but I am not associated with the Silver Pact in anyway despite me being tattooed. I choose to follow my own path after my exaltation" He then turns back to the topic regarding his army

"They are sadly temporary but I hope I learn to make a new one in some time that doesn't fade away"
Ignis "Luna did not exalt The SIlver Pact, she exalted Lunars."

Ignis words come forth with a sort of bemused confidence, "So if you have sought to forge your own path I would say that say that needs no explanation. However, I am curious as to what that path would be? Why have you turned to necromancy?"

Ignis lifts his sword up and then resheathes it, the glow of the sun fading slightly though the sigil remains on his brow.

"I know of some lunars myself but I have to confess that my understanding of The Silver Pact is limited. Given the wars between The Realm and the Lunars over the centuries..I suppose to one end it is The Realm's downfall."

Turning away he then adds, "As to Great Forks.. If you presented youself to The Three perhaps you might have freedom to do so without being confused by Great Forks forces for somethint that is threatening them. I will say that Great Forks is not lacking in others like ourselves so it's not an impossible consideration."

After another pause he then adds, "And I am called Ignis. A far less lofty name then yours, to be certain."

Tepet Makara "The path I walk is sadly private for matters I won't speak about since others of my kind disagree with it. As for my necromancy, let's just say I inherited this knowledge from a past life, the Lunar warlord Fafnirius that was a scourge upon the Shogunate in the Northeast who wielded this black magic against daimyos till his demise." The silver dragon does not speak much about this path he follows. He turns to the topic regarding Great Forks. "I've already been there but I have not introduced myself to the three patron gods."
Once he hears of his name, he gives a nod "I'll remember that name but I may meet you with a different face and you might not expect it. The only hints I'll give is I am a beast born in the aftermath of a battlefield stained with freezing blood above snow. A fallen noble now cursed by the moon." Although he is no poet, his hints are metaphors about his true identity.
Ignis "As you are one of Luna's chosen I have no choice but to expect that you will be in guises that I can't hope to uncover unless you permit me to." offers Ignis with a smile that is more friendly now. "I'll try my best to remember that and thank you for trusting me to with that. As to the rest? I won't pry. I won't lie, though, and say my curiousity isnt piqued...but it seems you've your path and the determination to follow it. If that path means no harm to the people of Creation then there is no reason for me to think that we will cross paths again in a negative fashion."

Ignis looks around the area again, "I won't lie and say that I don't have great love for necromancy but I also have to say I recognize its uses. IF you have a destiny to follow that enables that use to meet your goals then I say take to it. I have a burden of my own related to my past life so I understand very well what you may be dealing with. FOr me it's like chasing phantoms and dreams. An old utopia that attempted to thrive in the dying embers of THe First Age. It fell as so many things did but I feel a calling to find its resting place and see if some glory can be returned to Creation..even if some small amount."

He fully reties his blade now and then bows to the great lunar, "I'm sure we'll meet again. It doesn't sound like our journies to deal with our past actions are that dissimilar."

Tepet Makara "I'll give some hints in my guise whether subtle or barely subtle. But for now, I must be off since I am preoccupied with other matters" He says in an assuring manner to the Dawn. "I indeed wander Great Forks sometimes, so I hope we can meet soon"
