Fudou the Mountain With events heating up as they are in the Congregation of Victory, the various arena champions can usually be found within easy reach of the arena. Straying to far away means missing much and the tournament continues to have wide appeal and mass interest given the displays of power that have taken place within it.

The Mountain is no stranger to these sort of events and is at the center of more then a few of them. His last match of note not only saw a spectacular display against the diminutive but still powerful wyld touched alchemist, Amethyst....but an Anathema appeared right in the crowd during the closing moments! Responses to that have been mixed, which is no surprise given that this is Great Forks, but it has been a talking point.

For right now, however, he has escaped the turmoil of the arena, and after seeking the company of friends, he now simply seeks companionship and baser urges to be satisfied. Food, drink and....perhaps a little more entertainment such as THe Chataeu can provide without seting up unique encounters. At the moment, he lounges in the open rooms, huge body sprawled into large pillows with trays of fruit and meat nearby and attendants answering to him as he sees fit. He's even dressed appropriately. A large silk open robe of ornate design drapes across his torso like a curtain and roomy silken pants with a wide golden sash belt encircles his waist. His immense body is on full display. A rolling landscape of muscle and sinew that both terrifies and beckons onlookers as he noisly takes to a large melon brought to him by a beautiful woman.

Grave Saint As the next arena battle hasn't happened yet and the members of her faith are preoccupied, Grave arrives in the Chateau Of Resplendent Delights especially after she heard it's owned by the dynast. When she was young, she always wanted to visit the Blessed Isle as a religious pilgrimage but she casts that aside. However she is still interested in learning about dynasts....for different reasons.
Once she enters the open rooms and takes a nearby seat, she then notices the exigent of strength. "Ah, I didn't expect to see you here" Higanbana says while ordering red wine and steak at the waiter
Fudou the Mountain It's perhaps an unusual sight given his usual attair as a monstrous wrestler or testubo wielder. All barbaric and gladiator like. Now he's just shy of some sort of king. An emperor doted on by not a small number of attendants if for no other reason that his sheer size requires such attention. Modesty is still at play, so to speak, despite the location but one must wonder what would happen should hd move to a more private chamber.

"And what of you?" questions Fudou cheerfully, "This is no place for the dead or those who wish to die. We live, in here, luv...and seek to fill our gullets and..maybe fill some other things." his eyebrows waggle lewdly.

"As much as I can at least... " he adds, still joking. "What do you seek here?"

Grave Saint "I am mostly here since I am curious to meet a dynast. I am an outcaste after all so I mostly have no idea on how their society works" Higanbana slowly sips the red wine from her glass as it arrives with the rare steak that still bleeds. "That philosophy reminds me of one of my mentor's rivals. A decadent woman in the Northeast who tempts those into indulging themselves in pleasure forever until they die. Her approach is morbid"

She smiles as she continues sipping. "I originally wanted to go to the Blessed Isle once and live there as an Immaculate nun but someone discouraged me"

Fudou the Mountain "A nun, eh?"

Fudou leans forward and then to the side, laying his monstrous body along the length of a group of pillows and popping his head up with an outstretched arm.

"I think you, perhaps, underestimate what you find on the isle. In fact, I understand that an entire house of dynasts are nortorious for their wild parties. The Cynis, I believe?"

Fudou flickers his gaze around the room and then back to Grave Saint, "Loosening up might do you some good.."

Grave Saint "I'm very aware of House Cynis's decadence. The Isle is truly fascinating especially as it's Pasiap's holy land for the Imperial Mountain sits at the center of it. Sadly, I hear that certain people are mistreated that are even lower than the peasantry known as the dispossessed. I met one that tried to talk me out of going to the Isle" She says with sorrow with a hint of nostalgia once she refers to this dispossessed person.

"He told me that the Blessed Isle is not idyllic as it seems for there are slaves, cruel dynasts, corruption and other problems that plague it. I heard he escaped through a ship going to the East. He was a slave to House Mnemon if I remember hence why he knew so much."

Fudou the Mountain "Oh well he's absolutely right. Did you expect otherwise? The Realm is what it is. Certainly depending on who you know and what family you're born into, life is diffferent but I imagine with such a strict caste system in place as part of their immaculate philosphy that places the Dragonblood at the top of their hiearchy...most others suffer. This is what they've spread across much of Creation and would continue to do so if times weren't different."

Fudou looks amused but there is some sharpness to his gaze and his grin is less...friendly.

"You've little purpose going there what with your heretical beliefs. If you go just to 'look' I suppose curiousity is a sign of a living being but dont' get yourself enslaved out of just wanting to sneak a peek."

Grave Saint "Yes, they have spread suffering beyond the Isle and into the Threshold." She nods at the exigent as she continues conversing with him. "Funnily enough, I wanted to go to the Isle to spread the accurate doctrines to my home town in the Far East. However I was enlightened and taught by an old man who inspired me in creating my faith"
""I do not have any intentions of going to the Blessed Isle anymore for I focus on spreading my faith. So far I cultivated only a small following but it shall blossom even further"
Fudou the Mountain "Hn."

He's at least not rude enough to scoff in her face at the term 'accurate'. He's got some scruples. But he can't hide his slight recoil. Must be the drinks.

"You are bold, I'll give you that." he finally adds, "Try making sure you at least have a bodyguard or two before you go preaching such things as you preach anywhere -near- an Immaculate Temple." Fudou takes a bite out of his melon again and then deposits the remains into a ready container. "...But you've got converts here, not that I am surprised...Great Forks is a city of a thousand faiths and beliefs. Keep at it."

Grave Saint "Of course I am not foolish enough to preach near an Immaculate Temple but there are bound to be zealots somewhere in Great Forks. I do have bodyguards but they stay in my shrine to protect it from intruders. They cannot come with me for they are too preoccupied" She finds an excuse on why her "protectors" aren't here with her.

"I can defend myself with a martial art known as Silver Voiced Nightingale for my weapon is my song and my pipa. I am close to mastering it"

Fudou the Mountain "Mmmm..."

He seems to be considering her words carefully but it may be unclear if he believes her or no.

"Well there is no fear of you being attacked in the city itself, no doubt. As long as you preach here in Great Forks you've no more or less right to spread your beliefs then any faith. the Dynasts have no authority here though they may think otherwise. Should one attack you or attempt to rebuttal your sermons I suppose you've as much right as anyone to deal with it. However...perhaps you should hire more protectors then. It'll make you seem more..legitimate."

Fudou smirks slighlty, "I doubt, given how many followers you already have, that your shrine is in any danger."

Grave Saint "I'll consider it although I may hire some mercenaries to guard me while preaching although they have to be reliable. Hmm, I may hire some of the lionmen Raul commands." Bleeding Higanbana comments as she accepts the exigent's advice on making her more legitimate.

"I hope to expand my faith to others soon but probably villages near Great Forks to play it safe"

Fudou the Mountain "Hah!"

That draws a burst of laughter from the giant. "...Raul? Raullar you mean? The general in gold?"

Fudou smirks lightly as he leans back, "Mmm...possible that gold has some meaning mm? You'd risk that? Interesting. I don't now if he'd be willing ot lend men to your cause mind you but money is money. I suppose it depends on how tolerant of such things he is and if he'd demand you not try and convert his men. Yours is a faith that isn't exactly...inviting."

Grave Saint "I actually meet Raul before you. I'm surprised he took my advice in hoping to build a shrine dedicated to his people's ancestors. And my faith is inviting for I accept those that accept my doctrine's Four Inevitable Truths" She says with a tone of resolve in her beliefs even if morbid to others.

"If you mean unappealing, I understand. Not all accept the harsh truths of life and Creation"

Fudou the Mountain "Your truths. Not -the- truth. There's a lot of that going around." notes Fudou but he seems disinclined to go further aside from adding,.

"There are alot of 'surprised' people when they die..."

He shrugs lightly and then reaches for another melon, "If you've already spoken with General Raullaur.." He uses his fullname rather deliberately, noting how 'familiar' she is with his shrothand, nickname, but not commenting on it aside from his use of his more formal title, "Then so be it. That business is between you and him. Though for someone so curious about dynasts I'd think you more cautious in someone who wears the trappings of a solar."

Grave Saint "Some suspect him as a Solar?" Strangely there was an odd tone when she has heard of the word solar. Not a zealous or disgusted tone like that of an Immaculate but rather out of envy. She then shrugs it off. "Sorry about that but there can be a logical explanation to why he has the trappings of one. Possibly him being an exigent of gold or whatever"

As she has finished her meal, she gets up as she prepares to leave. "Hopefully there will be an arena fight next so I can compose a new battle song"

Fudou the Mountain "Hmm.."

Raullaur has never tried to hide his nature and his trappings and actions in the arena where for all to see. But he says nothing to her question.

"Fare well. Perhas you can make a song for me?" rumbles Fudou with a slow grin.

"Until next time.."
