Titan Breaker Ancient ruins, long lost temples, abandoned fortresses, forgotten holy sites...these are a dime a dozen here in the Age of Sorrows. Some a hundred, others a thousand, others an entire epoch in age. They speak of ancient histories, forgotten gods and cultures and civilizations long faded into dust. Their importance to learning and fragility cannot be understated... This is why Volken the Titan Breaker is probably the last person you want making your way through one.

A literal juggernaut of a man - gigantic like an eastern woodland tree with a physique that looks like it was hewn from the side of Mount Meru and then inflated with growth serum..the bruiser is fundementally a wrecking crew of a brute as even simply walking through this ancient temple sends the ground shaking, the earth cracking and walls being forced aside by him merely brushing up against them as he passes.

He seems unperturbed though, making his way into what looks to be a large atrium with a ..surprsingly intact looking vault door of some sort at the far end of it. Several pillars fall behind him, kicking up plumes of dust that roll forward towards his huge frame but he remains focused and slowly reaches up to remove his wide brim hat as he stares, taciturn and stoic, at the vault door against the towering cliff like wall before him.

After some time studying the door, the huge man reaches into the depths of his jacket and removes from his waist a massive keg sized jug, holding the it aloft to then begin drinking noisly as he slowly lowers his frame down upon a large boulder and then leans forward to rest his arms against his knees, occasionally continuing to drink inbetween having a staring contest with the massive ornate door.

Tiziri A short figure, in so many ways the opposite of Titan Breaker, ends up entering the room now. It has a feminine sillhouette, though is currently wearing drab sand colored robes that seem quite easy to move in, billowy pants, a tunic like top. Then a headscarf that seems to have been pulled across her face like a veil too, leaving just the eyes visible. She carries an old looking spear, of a sort that is definitely not local (in fact, from somewhere around the Dreaming Sea if someone would recognize such!). Her steps graceful and soft. She's not exactly trying to sneak, but certainly has a predatory sort of movement all the same.

All the same she ends up pausing back aways, slipping to the side and watching the giant figure from the shadows as he studies the door. Her gaze intense, even if also rather thoughtful. Pensive.

Lucky Raven Less wary of the oncomer is... another much smaller person.

From up in a tucked away alcove, on a ledge whose stairs have long since crumbled away, a slim figure in a large cloak that is nonetheless worn more like a cape leans out on one foot, hand wrapping around a nearby out-of-place vine to keep herself from falling in her otherwise far-too-leaned-out position. The hand, curiously, has an impressively slim golden gauntlet on it, lined with some vibrant blue substance for the underlayer.

"Hey, big guy!" she shouts down into the floor of the atrium she hovers over. "You're too loud!"

Titan Breaker The wary cloaked woman seems to escape the notice of the behemoth as he continues his solitary consideration of the strange vault door that lies before him. He remains perched atop his seat, taking long swigs of whatever passes for the drink within the depths of that massive jug. It's hard to say if he's enjoying this or not as his expression remains neutral. Even stern. A perpetual resting face of brutish dismissal and disregard for the world around him save for whatever he happens to be staring at. A look that would likely bring most mortals to their knees.

So naturally the door just sits there, as a door, uncaring of how intimidating a man with arms that give the impression of being able to wear Guild Wagon Wheels around their biceps, is.

Eventually, the door wins, and The Titan Breaker sighs and sets the massive keg down to his side just as he now hears the more outgoing of the trio call out towards him and he tilts his head up to direct that stare up towards her now.

His expression is neutral at first before twisting into a look of curiosity as he notes the golden arm which he eyes for overly long before finally starting to slowly stand.

"You.." he begins with a low rumble, and then whatever he was going to say he seems to think better of it as he makes a idle dismissive gesture and then finally says, "....This place--not abandoned?" His thick Thorns derived accent heavy before adding, "...Something here that noise will awaken?"

Tiziri All the more curious now, all the more interesting even if just watching. The veiled figure ends up doing just that too, shifting a little bit over by the wall to remain where she is. Not entirely hiding, but obviously not trying to draw attention to herself either. She's still quite wary if anything. But the show that is starting to go on before her seems to be the focus for her as she leans on the spear and looks over, eyes barely blinking even while looking between both the others.
Lucky Raven The small, elevated figure shakes her head as it moves back, blinking a few times. "What? No. I'm trying to read. Well, look. More pictographic. Still, hard to concentrate when the place is about to fall down around me!" she answers, swinging back into her alcove for a moment before swinging fully out, descending the incongruous vine about half of the way back to the ground before falling quite a ways to make it back to the ground.

"See? Look at her," she notes, gauntleted finger pointing at Tiziri, incident of her angle leading her to see the other woman. "Barely even knew she was there. So unless you plan to just rip that door straight out of the wall- which... I'd be impressed, to be fair. I need to figure this place out."

Titan Breaker At the indication of their spear wielding, quiet, observer, Titan Breaker pauses and glances over his shoulder to take note of Tiziri's presence. He inclines his head at her, tilting it to the side in a look for what passes for mild surprise on his broad features.

His gaze then cuts back towards Lucky Raven to get another good look at her once more. His eyes linger long on her prosthetic limb once again before he looks away from her and turns towards the vault door once again.

"Crowded abandoned ruins.." he rumbles finally, sounding mildly annoyed..but only mildly so.

An instant later and he's begin approaching the door slowly as if intending on putting her own words to the test, but taking a moment to fully examine the potential scope of the ruins before diving right in to do so.

"Caravan guard without a caravan.." he says, perhaps cryptically. Then , as he nears the door he rumbles, "You... A scholar? Scavenger Lord? Or tomb raider...?" his eyes peer over the architecture curiously before turning towards Lucky Raven and also looking past her once again to glance at Tiziri.

Tiziri "Have to have a hobby. Like I said, I like the journey, and my caravan reached its goal. It just so happens it was near enough. I suppose Scholar suffices. Or perhaps Savant." Tiziri has a weirdly feral impishness to her tone, head tilting to the side intensely while saying that. "I like seeing things, and there's a lot to see in places like this."

As if to punctuate that she looks over towards Raven and examines the woman more closely. "Like her now too. Daring you to smash a door. Perhaps there's an easy way. Perhaps that's the easiest. You are pretty big. So either way, I get to see something interesting. Can you? Will it be a trap? Is there something else? What is her interest? Can she read the sigils? Or just guess at their meaning?"

Lucky Raven One can almost see the arithmetic going through Raven's head as Titan Breaker presents his three potential assumptions of her, before she shrugs and lands on; "... Yes?"

She strolls her way over behind the large man, leaning around him to glance at the door once more curiously. "Honestly kind of surprised the pillars falling didn't bring the roof down..." she mumbles, before spinning abruptly on her heel in a motion that leads her cloak to catch the wind... more than it really should.

"You, miss. Think he's gearing up to actually do that thing I joked about. You good at legging it if the place comes crashing down?"

Titan Breaker The immense man looks at Tiziri as she speaks, eyes narrowing slightly and expression tightening abit. His nostrils then flare and he looks away while shaking his head and then shrugging lightly as if having an internal conversation with himself on her explanations regarding her presence. It seems that the two have encountered each other beforehand and this isn't exactly 'mere caravan guard' business in his opinion, for what little it matters. She explains herself well enough and Lucky Raven's own answer draws a glance from the giant man towards her as well.

"Hmm.." he muses before finally deciding, "Fair enough..." in response to both women. As Lucky Raven questions his intentions or the possiblity of the place coming down around their head, the giant lifts his gaze up to look over the interior of the ancient site before looking back down towards the door. He then finally simply rolls his shoulders a few times and then steps up towards the door.

"Stand back..." he orders before reaching forward for what looks like a massive stone door knocker of a handle on the center of the huge door.

"Stand far back.." he rumbles again, huge back now completely to both women.

Tiziri "I am not concerned." Tiziri responds to Raven. The completely nonchalant way she says that more than proving she really isn't. Instead she's quite relaxedly looking towards the door and any text that is there, studying it all too closely.

As she does look over the door and the giant one starts preparing, she ends up letting out a strange thoughtful sound before saying. "You know, I might suggest a 2-3-2 cadence with the knocker first. It is a suggestion. But the text implies a certain musical cadence, albeit a weird one. Admittedly, I'm not the best musician, but I think I recognize that sort of terminology."

Lucky Raven "Well if that doesn't work I'm sure somewhere in all the crashing and breaking we'll hear something resembling the right combination," Raven says with a shrug, looking around for a moment... and then leaping up onto the broken part of a pillar that only broke halfway up, an uprush of wind buoying her ascent in a fairly blatantly unnatural fashion.
Titan Breaker Set on his course of action, the behemoth ignores the suggestions of knocking musically. He may not be much of a fan of music and rhythm.

Instead he remains focused on the door ...and then he leans forward and then away and begins pulling.

As his physique swells it's like watching a bas relief come to life. Muscles pile ontop of muscle as if he was literally growing. His garments, already tattered in their barest efforts of containing him, begin to strain and pull apart as he pumps up and up from the exertion of superhuman strength. The earth begins heaving and shaking. Cracks racing up and down the walls and fissures beginning to form in the ground from the gargantuan mans efforts. Strange, that he hardly seems to be looking as if he's straining. His expression remaining stoic, focused and stern. His nose merely wrinkling a bit as if this freakish display was about as difficult as tearing wet tissue.

And like wet tissue, the entire cliff face like wall begins to give way as the door frame sunders and a huge slab of stone begins to drag itself outward, shattering the wall and causing it to begin tumbling downward. Another part of the ruins collapses as the earthquake rolls and boils outwards but by some miracle the atrium remains largely spared save a few large boulders that tumble downward.

...And somehow the door remains intact. It does not buckle, bend, break or sunder and instead is simply pulled forth, upright, by the goliaths massive arm as he steps backwards away from it. Not opening but sliding forward, creating massive grooves in the ground and revealing, behind it, a sundered wall and broken fissures that lead..nowhere. There is now an upright vault door, dragged free from its moorings and as the colossus releases it, pumped and veined arm resting against his flanks at an exagerrated angle, it looks back at him, silent and rebellious.

After a few more seconds of rumbling and distant thunderous impacts from the quakes.. Titan Breaker simply voices, without turning, facing the the rising plume of destruction caused by the ruins collapsing further in: "This is not a door."

Tiziri Tiziri watches. Ublinking, though perhaps with a narrowing of her eyelids at what is happening. She seems oddly nonplussed. Indeed, almost frustrated at her instructions not being taken. "You know, in a ruin like this the appearence is not always the truth, yes?" She asks. Suddenly walking forward as if the whole feat of strength never happened. Still, it might be of note she's seeming especially light on her feet, her regular grace turning almost predatory in nature, tense, ready for action. "I hope you did not break whatever mechanism might have existed." She adds. Turning to look back towards the door as it stands there, "Though then again, such things are rarely connected in a purely physical aspect. It is entirely possible that it could be more than that, or even work now." A glance towards Raven, "Unless you've read soemthing else of note? That might help?" She's seeming more introspective now, though walking towards the wall behind and picking up her spear and smaking the butt of it agains tthe wall. Boom boom, bangbangbang, boom boom. A pause, then the pattern repeated.
Lucky Raven "... Would you like a job in three to six months?" calls Raven to the strong man, laughing despite the lack of joke in her tone. She shakes her head, vaulting back down off the pillar and dusting herself off absent-mindedly. She's shaking her head as she walks nearer before glancing at the discarded door again.

"But, no- it's strange, the stuff up there almost reads like a history of the founding of Palanquin waaaaaay out to the southeast from here. Which makes me assume it's some metaphor but everything is half-degraded enough that I haven't managed to figure it out. Then again... I guess maybe sometimes brawn over brains?" she says, giving a helpless sort of shrug.

Titan Breaker "Hnn...."

The behemoth gives Tiziri a hooded gaze, not liking the light chastising despite the fact that...well..she's absolutely correct. He could have very well just completely ruined what was in place.

But she's also correct in that..this might very well have been what was needed to trigger..well..something. Who can say? At least the place isn't exploding, demons aren't being unleashed, or the dead falling upon them.

Or they aren't being turned into living magma or something like that.

"Yes."

His deep voice is a rumble of acknowledgement to Raven while not looking her way. He would indeed like a job.

"..Palanquin.." he repeats, considering that. "Very far away.." he then adds, "...Possible related to something there, however... Similar designs or theories...perhaps.."

He's retrieved his hat once again and sets it onto his head and then reaches down to retrieve his drinking jug, safe by some miracle from being crushed by the falling debris.

"Perhaps it's a door that is sealed for a reason and best left shut.." he concludes. Apparently if his brawn was not enough then that seals the matter. "Unless you have another idea...?"

Tiziri Another figure, who seems to be the same height and everything as Tiziri enters, also wielding a spear. This one a bit nicer, but still pretty worn. It looks like a locally made one, relatively.
Tiziri The figure walks over, starting to talk. The voice is the same too! Twins? "Hmm, Maybe the wall isnt the important part, but maybe the door? Knockers like you suggested?" She asks. Unworried about the others present she walks over towards it. "You are certainly right about it having a weird draw too."
Titan Breaker The giant remains taciturn and stoic for a moment, his massive back to the others as he faces the boulder he had been perched on while rubbing his wrists with a mild look of consternation on his face. It's not rom discomfort but ..displeasure. He's, apparently, never encountered something that his freakish might has not been able to overcome. He's parted canyons, towed massive ships when swimming, rent trees up from the earth and used them as battering rams.

But a door?

"Hrn.." he rumbles, letting out a frustrated breath before turning once more and then pausing in slight confusion at the newcomer. He looks between her and the first spear wielder and frowns ever so slightly before voicing what would be the obvious conclusion.

"..What is this. Twins?"

Lucky Raven "Never seen twins dress *quite* that the same," Raven quips, strolling in circles before the door thoughtfully as she scratches at her cheek absently.

"Okay so we've got a big door that goes nowhere, something about sky people- I'm just going to operate under the assumption that this is a way to go visit some cloud spirits or something to that effect. Who all knows something about the local terrestrial courts?"

Tiziri "Something like that." The second one says, dragging out the word 'something' in an enigmatic way. She happens to be dressed more like a tomb raiding scholar. Not a nomad from the South. She stops by the other door and looks down on it. She seems to read it more. "Definitely a pattern on it, I hope it can still work. Mystical things sometimes dont care, right?" The other one walks over and nods. "Let's hope so... unless there's just something behind the wall that our strong one over here could break on through to. Though maybe that would break the rest of the link." Tiziri 1 looks over to Raven and says, "Nothing it speaks of implies that. Something about weapons, but not spirits."
Titan Breaker "I have been tricked once already today." Volken's deep voice rumbles out as he looks away from the 'twins' and reahes down to grab his massive jug of drink.

"I do not like being tricked. Being tricked twice..." He shakes his head and simply frowns and then says bluntly, "It would not be amusing.."

But this 'twin' seems more focused on trying to resolve the mystery of these ruins as well so he lets any confusion slip from his mind and glances to Raven as she speaks and then back to Tiziri, "So...a vault then. Keeping something meant to be kept."

he takes another drink and then settles on tying the jug to his waist. "I will not try again on the wall. Already broken it is.." He points to indicate the massive chasms and cracks in it. "It may come down... It wouldn't be wise..or ideal.."

Lucky Raven Raven leans back over to look at the Tiziris almost upside-down, brow raised-- lowered? questioningly. "Oh, spirits don't have armouries now?" she shoots back, smirking with that.

She straightens back up in an abrupt motion, looking at the door with a hand on hip before abruptly dropping down to a cross-legged position on the dusty floor. "Well, let's take a closer look, either way."

Despite her generally animated demeanour, her eyes close, the woman falling silent as she considers the curious obstacle before the group- mind almost seeming to drift elsewhere.

Tiziri "Likely true," Says Tizi 2. "So now we work on this. It really is a fascinating place. Ancient. Possibly before the Shogunate even. So very old indeed. A very interesting conundrum." She reaches her spear out to bang that rythym on the door that is on the ground as the other Tizi watches. Tizi 1 shrugs and says, "Well, maybe. But this just sounds different. Like an ancient kingdom or something, or a hero of old."
Titan Breaker "So a tomb..."

Volken's deep voice rumbles with some confidence there, though he may very well be wrong. He's no lore to draw from, that's for certain.. But there seems to be a hint of familairity.

"..Ancient...wrought with sorcery kin to a culture that might have...some similar origins or at the least made with knowledge gleaned from a time there... Perhaps with a key to enter it elsewhere in these ruins linked to what you are you discovering. I do not know..."

The giants gaze drifts towards Raven now as he notes the change in her demeanor and he quiets while watching her thoughtfully.

Lucky Raven Nothin' to see here, just a young woman in a blatantly magical gauntlet havin' a big think, definitely didn't engage in some kind of sorcerous trickery to get up on a pillar earlier. She's probably fine.
Tiziri "Well, you might still be able to use the knocker with that cadence? I've yet to find anything in the rest, this does seem the deepest, the holy of holies as it were." Tiziri muses. "My spear apparently didnt work, but the mechanism might requre the intended knock." The other one nods along with that.
Titan Breaker "Hmm..wait.." rumbles Volken, studying Lucky Raven now but speaking to Tiziri, "It seems she is...thinking..as well.."

It's a pretty heavy bit of thinking it seems but given the ponderous nature of the giant, taking such careful time to think is likely something he considers worth acknowledging.

Lucky Raven It's abrupt and almost jarring, when Raven springs back to her feet from a cold seated position, stretching and rubbing at an eye momentarily. "Alright! Took a second, checked in with some moss, listened to the wind a bit... I think the definitely-completely-normal-twins are right, there's like a sorcery looking for particular air vibrations and- look, the specifics aren't important, the important thing is do the thing she said and see what happens."
Tiziri "Works for me." Tiziri 1 says with a little shrug as the other one watches Raven. And then, of course, things get weirder. Another one walks in, this one dressed more like a warrior, a newer spear. Martial arts style clothing like native to the area. Hair pulled back into a tight bun. "So, I thing I found something interesting back here, a weird looking part of the wall." The other two look over and look happy. "Great. Did you try knocking there?" The new arrival nods. Even this one doesnt seem shocked at peopel here!
Titan Breaker "So you want -me- to knock on the door using the knocker with the ....rhythm....she's figured out.."

Volken's voice is dry though not disinterested. He waits a moment, pondering this as well before noting, "If it opens...we don't know what could come out.. If it's dangerous..can you defend yourselves?" Sure, The 'Twins' have their spears and the woman with the golden prosthetics clearly possesses gifts but...well..it needs to be asked.

Then the -third- one walks in and Volken's normally stoic and reserved expression actually recoils his expression into one that is clearly a 'what the hell' sort of look to his face, glancing between the differently dressed women before finally thinking about. He did recall seeing a group of them leave together when he first met this strange spear wielding woman back at The Black Hand tavern. Still, he shakes his head roughly and then steps forward towards the heavy stone knocker. "..Right...."

Lucky Raven "Oh didn't I tell you? I'm an all-too-mighty sorceress by trade, and pretty good at beating a retreat in a pinch besides," Raven says, upturning her hands with a shrug.

"Hey are there two more of you outside? Is this a fives thing? Creation seems to love fives," she comments to the gaggle of Tiziris, leaning around the massive frame of Volken to do so.

Tiziri Tiziri 1 looks quite impish on noticing Volken's reaction. "I did say something like twins." She notes. "But yes. I'm pretty sure I cant lift it to do that sort of thing, especially laying down, I might have when it was hanging. But it probably weighs as much as me. The second Tizi just shrugs enigmatically. "We are who we are." Then they all turn to watch Volken get to work with the knocker.
Titan Breaker "A hasty retreat...leaving me to deal with whatever horror we're about to let loose into these ruins..." muses The Titan Breaker with a deadpan cadence to that rumnling voice of his.

"..Fair enough.." he admits, as if acknowledging he'd probably do much the same if positions were reversed.

He eyes the Tiziri's with a mildly disapproving look to his face. He'd already stated he dislikes trickery and the magically multiplying Tiziri Quartet seems to be exactly that as far as he's concerned, even if it might simply be the product of some poor mother out there.

He considers the matter further and then finally faces the door and pushes his jacket back slightly. Massive smashfists, gold and onyx, chained to the opposite side of his frame then his drinking jug, are now visible as he reaches down and brings them up. One immense hand slips into them and they lock into place followed by another. The movements of his body reveal the ornate vest like protective gear that struggles against his monstrous torso as well, likewise gleaming gold though it seems as much decorative as protective leaving much of his huge torso exposed to the elements.

"I'm not musical." he says simply towards Tiziri. One of them at least. "So...repeat the pattern.." He reaches up to lay hand on the massive door knocker.

Tiziri The first Tiziri merely stands there, unconcerned, relaxed even. Then uses her spear butt to bang it out as she says it. "2 3 2. Bum bum bangbangbang bum bum." Then she repeats it a few times to help Volken get into the rythym."
Lucky Raven "I mean I'd do it but... I'm very small. And you're not," Raven says, shrugging oh-so-helplessly at her decidedly average height- just north of five and a half feet.

"So, two-three-two, and all that," she adds, taking a few healthy steps back from the massive displaced door. "After you, large man."

Titan Breaker The gargantua eyes Raven for a long series of seconds and then looks away to consider Tiziri's directions. He carefully reaches up and lays a hand upon the massive stone knocker. His fingers curl slowly upon it, using a measured bit of movement as if he's afraid of it shocking him suddenly.

Or perhaps him crushing the stone with a casual grasp.

Nothing happens, either way, and he inclines his head, still stoic, as he listens to Tiziri's guiding taps. He takes a few longer seconds to absorb it all in before finally dragging his immense sinew to life and lifting the massive stone knocker up to begin the heavy beats.

  • TOOO* *TOOM* *TOOM-TOOM-TOOM*

The rumbling impacts echo through the ruins, a vibration creaking and echoing its way loudly throughout what remains of the forgotten and overgrown structure.

Tiziri The young woman who is tapping the pattern keeps it up to help, while the other two look alert and watching the wall where the door was. They each have a dignity of sorts. "Hopefully this works, or I'll feel quite silly." She says while doing the tapping.
Lucky Raven "Guess I should be prepared in case something does happen..." mumbles Raven, shrugging and staking a step up onto a rock- her hands raise up slightly, eyes unfocusing a little as the heat in the room flickers a little, largely seeming to stem from her personal presence whilst a breeze that isn't there jostles at her cloak.
Titan Breaker The knocking has ceased by the echoing vibrations continue, rumbling and rolling through the ruins for far longer then they should be as if being carried onward and upwards like sound riding through the air.

Volken steps back, looking around with a mild frown on his face as he listens to the continuing distant echoes. The wait seems to be increasing his anxiety but he holds back any further attempts at knocking - or an attempt to simply completely obliterate the door all together.

Which is fortunante as the wind from nowhere picks up more steadily, rustling vines and tumbling leaves until it begins to visibly gather as a whirling vortext infront of the wall where the vault door originally stood, opening up a widening swhirl of turbulence that would be akin to peering up through the eye of a hurricane. Perhaps not a common sight here upon Creation but a childhood on distant western islands gives the giant Titan Breaker some distnat flashbacks as he observes this.

Beyond said opened portal, steps that lead further in. Wide enough even for the giant man.

"Hn.." he grunts, his way of soundign impressed at the work of the two ladies. He'd have preferred if brute force was the key but its hard to argue with success.

Tiziri "Phew." Tiziri 1 says, "I was really hoping I did not bark up the wrong tree." She giggles softly and then tries to look closer, as do her sisters. "But now this gets interesting." Her grin gets wide, very wide, and eyes sparkling. "I'm guessing no one has been down there in a very, very long time."
Lucky Raven "Hey, you had -my- approval once I did my little windy check-in. Obviously it was going to work," Raven asserts, smirking across at the trio of women as the area around her cools somewhat.

"Now, with -that- in mind... who here likes stairs? I have a feeling there's going to be... a lot of them. Seems to be how these old places work.""

Tiziri "Almost certainly. I'm the smallest, so my Sisters will go ahead. We should be good at finding any traps safely. Not the first time I've been in a place, though they're usually long looted. It is truly exciting to wonder what may be here." The spearwoman seems almost too excited about it too, and equally unafraid as well. It does not seem like she is even that patient, her sisters already starting on, and her not far behind. "I am Ardent Vagabond, by the way." She introduces as she does, remembering some politeness at least.
Titan Breaker Standintg before the now open entrance to the depths of...whatever this place truly is, Titan Breaker frowns... Though, he's usually frowning or at least neutral in his expressions so there's not much change there. THere was a brief glint of wonder to his expression at the opening of the wind crafted portal that has revealed steps heading into the depths of these ruins but now that has passed and he is once again suspicious.

This leads to him slowly pulling back his tattered coat, giving a brief look at massive golden stylized gauntlets. Smashfists to be certain, which he begins to slip his enorous hands into. His fingers push through the openings made for them making them clearly more stylized then protective though the vast metal plates upon them likely speak very well to its ablity to..well..smash.

"Hn.." he rumbles. Not much of a word but the meaning is perhaps clear. Do they go in? He doesn't move yet.

Lucky Raven Oh hey where'd Raven come from? Could have sworn she was standing on a rock over there, but it seems she flitted her way over to peer around Volken at some point at the stairway.

"Well big guy, if you keep staring at it the not-triplets are going to beat you to the bottom," she notes, looking up at the massive man pointedly before spinning around him in a flailing sort of motion that would be ungainly if she wasn't so absurdly nimble.

Without much more of a word, she simply starts following the Triziri set on their way down the steps with a light sort of spring in her step.

Tiziri The triplets are going in, they don't seem afraid at all even. There was definitely an order to it, the one who was here originally still the last to go in, but the other two are going on carefully, spears ahead and quite slowly advancing to be safe. The other one does not even wait for those not her sisters, it seems, she is quite eagerly walking in, even if she too is being careful!
Titan Breaker The huge man purses his lips in mild irritation but can offer no push back to Lucky Raven's words. They've come this far and while there is part of him that would just leave them to whatever might lie in the depths of this place... there's another part that is strong enough to chide him for such thoughts and so...after one omre pause, Volken begins tromping forward. He steps through the portal but finds the downward descent wide enough for even his prodigious body and high enough to avoid scraping his head against its ceilings. Comfortable but not exactly comforting.

Either way, he begins moving ahead . long stride causing him to catch up to Raven.

It seems a long way down and darker then above but some odd source of illumination seems to be occuring as they proceed and the air seems fresh and not stale.

"No traps?"

Lucky Raven "Not that've killed me yet," calls back Raven, her bare hand and its odd jade-coloured fingernails reaching up to wave back at the man as she drops down the stairs at an appreciable clip.

As she goes, her other hand reaches out- the lichens and small signs of plant life flourishing under the touch of her golden gauntlet with its jade nails as she wanders her way down to catch up with the full set of Tiziris.

Tiziri "The problem with complicated things like this?" Tiziri Prime calls back, "Is they might well be trapped yet. We got through the tricky part. Now there's probably a really tricky element to make it even harder, and we don't know what is down here. That's the reason to worry now."

The girl has an almost teacher like tone to her voice as she says that. The other two are carefully staying ahead and making probing. Spears are good for that too!

Titan Breaker Despite her warnings, nothing seems to be triggered by the prodding of the staff. No bottomless chasms, no traps unleashed upon them, no gouts of flames. All seems fairly well and eventually another vault door greets them at the end of the staircase. This one a cool grey and blue, carved with ornate symbology speaking of the wind and the sky and in particular, large upon the towering door, the moon itself resting upon a cluster of clouds and whirling winds as if such things were holding it aloft or acting as a comforting chariot for it to ride.

"No doubt a large chamber lies beyond and the puzzles and riddles you worry about are within." speaks Volken, rumbling this for the first time as he looks upon the door.

"Another knocking riddle or will this one yield to force now that we're in..."

Lucky Raven There's a quiet moment- punctuated by Raven exhaling slowly. She draws herself up, rolling up sleeves that very much *aren't* there as she approaches the door.

She touches the fingertips of her bare hand to it, feeling up and down the designs and the overall structural strengths and weaknessess. She winds up, readily, body straining...

Her foot thuds limply against the solid stone door. She's no stronger than your average merchant. Presumably she's sizing it up in some other way while she's goofing around? She doesn't say.

Tiziri The Tiziris end up pausing and studying things too. Heads tilting to the side. Each looking quite inquisitive. The one with the warrior's look about her finally says. "Air, maybe this would be something to do with singing?" She looks to the others, both Tizis and non Tizis! The first one nods. "Maybe, but if it is then we're going to need to worry about the right notes. It does make a little sense though. Percussion, that's pretty Earth like. Maybe singing is Air?" The third just nods too. All the while they are seeming thoughtful if nothing else.
Titan Breaker "More ridles." grumbles Volken while resting one of his gauntled hands on his waist. He seems to have learned his lesson from up above, however, and makes no attempt to brute force the door yet.

"Musically inclined..it seems...whoever built this place.."

He restrains himself from any impatient or impulsive actions but instead turns his gaze towards Lucky Raven, watching her carefully.

Lucky Raven "Well I'll tell you this- whatever sorcery set it up didn't go percussive this time. Bit more windy. A flute or something in mind maybe? But hit the right pitch... or pitches, and it -should- crack itself open nice and easy. Just, y'know. Hard to figure out what pitch that -is-, and most of the wind I mess around with is uh. Less... refined than that," explains Raven as if she's known every iota of this information since the dya she was born- even turning and opening her arms up dramatically with ti.
Tiziri "I don't have a lot of singing experience." Tiziri says, pursing her lips thoughtfully. "But I do sing for fun, especially on dark nights around the campfire. So maybe it's worth trying?" She takes a deep breath, then another, and starts to sing a simple scale. Just simple "La la la la!
Titan Breaker Nothing. Though it was an pleasent attempt. Charming even. Volken seems...stoic as usual however as he considers this and then frowns. Finally.

"No. You're just...singing.. It's the wind... Remember outside? What she said?"

He grumbles again, fingers twitching and wishing he could use his hands instead of...this..but he continues along.

'The wind. LIke a whistle.....or an instrument. Just need to know the notes.."

He begins looking the doors over as he speaks, attempting to make some sense of the artistry therein in search for any clues but ends up grunting and recoiling as if he just hurt his eyes and mind even attempting to try.

"Figure it out." he demands roughly. "Or we try it another way."

And then they likely will set some traps off but that's left unspoken though obvious.

Lucky Raven "Hard to get wind down here unless I summon a cyclone so... well, hang on. I do see a thing or two here I can maybe... Grab isn't the right word but I'm sure you get it. Let's hope they went re-usable on the sound-door effect and didn't etch it -too- hard," says Raven speculatively, before reaching her hands towards the door again- this time however, there's less mucking about with pretending to try to force it- rather, she begins giving off heat in a way that doesn't seem quite natural- but then, few things she's done do seem all that mundane.

To a clever eye for the type of thing it's not hard to tell she's employing her much-professed sorcerous talents- to one with as much familiarity as Tiziri's, the wood-blood is blatantly looking to twist and distort the sorcerous effects upon this door to one end or another... though it's not liable to help much if this was more working than spell.

Tiziri Tiziri and Tiziri and Tiziri all step back when the singing gails and Lucky Raven starts to think of something else to try with this. It's a good time to get out of the way. The second Tiziri ends up saying. "Not a clue what to do here, honestly. I can's play a flute. Don't think any of us can." She looks tothe other two, who both shake their heads. Then the three end up looking to the others too. "Hopefully one of you have a better idea, took me a while just to figure out the riddle above, I'd been researching it for a while. My sisters too. So this is, yeah."
Titan Breaker The giant man frowns. His moment of insiration didn't seem to land with them and in truth he's stalled out as well. He never actually had a chance. He looks inclined to protest, nevertheles, but then pauses to consider Lucky Raven once again as she begins focusing her eforts upon the door and her sorcerous intent is made rather apparent and clear about her. He remains silent but then glances to the door as the air abou tit seems to ripple and warble as the dragonblood seizes and grabs hold of the invisible strands of sorcery woven into it to begin to distort it to her liking.

"What are you doing?"

Lucky Raven Raven hops back, clapping her hands together to dust them off as she turns around with an exaggerated flourish of her cloak despite not touching it- and she has a grin that could only be called 'smug' on her face.

"Oh, not too too much... you just might find this dusty ol' thing is a little less picky about *how* the sound hits it now. So maybe our friends here should give the musical approach a try again, might find it a little more receptive."

Tiziri The Tiziri who just sang offers a little shrug before she says. "Can't hurt I suppose." She says, looking back towards the door again, studying it a little bit before she takes another deep breath and starts to sing once more. The other two end up stepping back, but looking pretty on guard all the same.
Titan Breaker When they begin again, nothing seems to happen right away. There's, perhaps, the slight stirring of the breeze but whether her note was just off or lacked the gusto or energy necessary...the door doesn't seem to do too much at first.

The faintest of flickers along one of the symbols beneath the moon and the clouds seems to occur as it softly lights up but then dims again.

Volken sighs, forwns, and rubs his temples in frustration. He then looks up, takes a deep breath, and sounds out a note alongside Tiziri.

The two harmonize as he maintains the deep thrummbing rumbling tone. Good enough to be in a choir, for sure. Maybe even to take lead on a song there!

With his addition, the first symbol lights, a soft ringing tone as it meets with their musical cue - and then the second lights as well. Leaving a third note needing to be added in.

Lucky Raven "Well now, if you think I'm going to sing, I'm afraid you're precisely right," says Raven jokingly before joining the chorus- really more of a grandstanding speech person, but... she's got the knack, apparently. Bloody Wood aspects.
Tiziri Tiziri's sisters continue to watch, one of them looking just a little shy and nervous, the other seeming stoic. Either way, neither looks ready to join in on the harmony, especially as Raven finally joins in and they both look over to her. The main Tiziri seems like she is a bit shy and nervous even in how she sings, it's a lot less confident this time or something.
Titan Breaker WIth her addition, the third sigil lights up and there's a sudden working of silver-white light that traces the edges of the doors and then up its center as the seams appear. The moon lights up briefly in a flash of silver and then, the doors begin to work their way open with a shaking of the chamber and streams of dust falling down from the ceiling.

Titan Breaker immediately stops his vocal rumble. Titan Breaker's do not sing.

Despite having sung very well.

"Hmm...not bad.." he begrudingly admits while reaching up to tilts his hat down and then up again to peer into the revealed room that becomes slowly illuminated by a source that cannot be easily discerned.

Wide, and circular with the statue of a many armed woman standing in the center, holding what appears to be a simple wooden staff in her outstretched hands. More statues and iconography persist as well.

"A tomb." suggests Volken. "..Or temple...."

Lucky Raven Quite abruptly and with no warning, a sudden upswell of wind helps Raven leap a massive distance across the room- likely a good twenty feet- to clear the floor entirely and land perched across the shoulders of this statue, looking over it from up close as she leans and curls around this way and that.

"Just a quick tip- other than walls, traps mostly end up in the floor. Avoiding it can go well! Unless of course *I* just tripped a trap, but I've only done that once in my life and there were extenuating circumstances."

Tiziri Anyone have some sort of rope to help us get across? I am not too confident in jumping that." Tiziri notes rather matter of factly as she looks over the gap, neither of her sisters starting to move either. Though the warrior one starts to make her way forward pretty carefully, even as the other is more carefully examining the room. The second finally says "I wonder just, well, what is this? Interesting place." She purses her lips, "Usually, a place that has never been looted might have more... mobile defenses too."
Titan Breaker The giant reaches down and grabs for the Tiziri that spoke...and if she doesn't spin away from him, an instant later, and the two are airborne as he leaps, vaulting with a gigantic push off to clear the fulld istance of the room for the statue.

It is large enough such that he is able ot grasp hold of one of its arms as he comes back dnwo and swing from it much like a monkey literally would with his other arm holding fast to Tiziri. His feet then brace against the statue to avoid touching down fully just yet and though his grip tightens he controls his strength to avoid damaging it.

Lucky Raven Raven grins again at Tiziri's comment, beginning to reach her hand out... when she's nearly thrown from her perch atop the statue by the shaking of the... structure, honestly, caused by Volken's massive leap.

She rubs at her head as she blinks away the surprise, glancing down at the man for a longish moment. "Y'know, I had a plan there. Then again, she'll need to get back... and we'll need to get around."

She sweeps her gauntleted hand out- the jade stylized fingernails on it glowing... as do the ones on her bare hand, oddly. A floating ring of glowing green runes begins to circle part of her forearm- joined a moment after by a second ring, oddly spaced from the other, of glowing white runes. Sorcerous ones, regarding wood and earth respectively, rotating in opposite directions.

Seeming less sorcerous, however, and more natural to her, is the flick of her wrist that sends a large thorn at the end of a thick, sturdy vine flying across the room to wedge itself into a crack in the wall just outside the door, while she busies herself tying the other end to one of the statue's arms.

"Can throw more of these around if need be, by the by."

Tiziri he main Tizi, finding herself grabbed seems surprised, though not as much as might be guessed if she is studied too closely. She finds herself on the other end and looking more than a little out of sorts though, and tries to regain her composure, coughing. "Well then, I... yes, I suppose that works." She says, coughing again. "Thank you." She looks at the other two. "Maybe stay back for now? Stay safe?" Then she sees the vine! "Or that would work too. Let's go with that!" She calls out, the other two nod, and find some way to secure their spears before begining the trip.
