Shining Azurite First Flowing Words has settled in to this place and it's movements, at least a little. Which is useful, for someone who wants to get to know and keep an eye on the interesting personages in this place. This means, for once she is not playing her Sanixan. Instead she is actually, shopping. A small collection of onion and root vegetable along with fruit already in her basket, even as she makes a great deal of time to talk to the merchants here, and keep an eye out for anyone who might strike her interest, occasionally feigning a look of tiredness. The market at this time is not so busy, with a slow flow of people getting some later necessities.
Rishi Also in the market shopping, with a basket full of fruit, is a woman in what looks like a leather cloak... except when she moves it becomes clear those are wings wrapped around her shoulders. The long and fluffy ochre furred cat tail behind her contrasting against the waterfall of dark hair cascading down her back makes it clear that, based on the rumors going around, this is Rishi, recently Chosen by the Lady of the Shifting Waters, one of the many Exigents of Great Forks. She is said to be a skilled healer, possibly a minor Sorcerer, and a most beautiful woman. And, apparently, a great lover of fruit given how much is in her basket.
Shining Azurite First flowing Words has indeed gotten a brief on this person, and sees no reason to not make contact, and get the measure of her herself. She finishes buying the small measure of flour she was dickering over, and she makes her way over. "Goodness. I see why the fruit pickings have been so scarce for me." but she says it with a smile. "You certainly have an eye for it."
Rishi "Oh! I am being most sorry." She turns towards you with a chagrined smile on her lovely face. "I simply cannot be getting enough of all of the many, many types of fruit that are being here in this place." her voice is lovely and melodic and her strong firetongue accent somehow makes it even more perfect. She holds out a couple of apples. "I am supposing I really did be taking too many of these. Would you be liking them?"
Shining Azurite Shining smiles. "Oh, nothing of the sort! I just appriciate meeting people who know what they want, and possibly how to bargain." There is a hand up to wave away the offer. "I'm still learning much of this city, and I find the best way to learn of the city is to meet the most unique and interesting people, you know? I hope I'm not taking up too much of your time. But" there is a smile. "Are you simply going to eat them all, as is? Or is there a secret baking expert under our very noses?"
Rishi Rishi smiles "I am not being the baking expert, no. I am just ...liking to be having them ready for the having of the snacking." She holds out a hand. "It is being most nice to be meeting you, I am being Rishi. And who are you being? And, yes, I am having been dwelling here for some of the time now, so what are you wanting to be having the knowing of?" She tilts her head, causing her waterfall of dark hair to slide across her shoulders as she smiles kindly at you.
Shining Azurite First gives a nod. "I am First Flowing Words." she says, watching her, politely, if slightly transfixed. Still, after a moment of gazing, unblinking she snaps back. "Oh, just interesting people more or less! Oppertunities are nice, but it's also just nice to...actually meet people. People who are unique and exciting." she says, unable to keep the smile off her face. "I'm used to people being either boring, or scary. And while that's not always true, it's way less true here than anywhere I've been so far. Here even the scary or really exceptional people are a little approachable, even to a humble musician. So I've been...approaching people! Getting to know who they are! When it's not troubling to them." she looks down, hunching a little bit more, trying to look a little less impressive.
Rishi Rishi's eyes light up. "Ah! You are being the musician? What instrument are you doing the playing of?" She headtilts the other way. "If you are liking to be meeting the people of the interesting, I am having the knowing of several of them. The Fudou is, yes, being kind of the scary, but he is also being most kind. And my close friend," her smile widens as her cheeks color, "Black Pearl is also being from the Realm and her establishment is needing the musicians always."
She gives you a look up and down, considering. "How much of the skills are you having? Would you mind doing the giving of me the demonstration?" She smiles a bit shyly. "I am also not doing the having of much the opportunity to be doing the singing, if you are not minding me doing the 'joining in'?"
Shining Azurite First smiles and leans forward, displaying her Sanixan. "This one! Also, at times my voice! "she adds. "And yes I have met Fudou. He is surprisingly sweet! And your close friend. Goodness!" she shifts back to a standing position and adds. "I was in the Black Pearl, but I think they are a little too high class for someone like me." she adds.

"And I'd love for you to join in!" she adds, setting her basket down carefully, and withdrawing her stringed insturment. She considers, but starts to play a simple melody, opening up a slow, soft song, about lost love. Something folksy and with clear and easy words so that it can be joined in chorus.

Rishi Rishi steps to the side with the other woman, eyes closed and listening hard. After she gets through the first round and hits the refrain, Rishi opens her mouth and joins in.
Her voice sounded musical enough when she was simply speaking, but now... it sounds like a chorus of bells or flock of birds, singing in perfect tune. She follows your lead perfectly, giving you a harmony that makes it almost sound like you have a choir singing along with you.

The clinks of coins in your basket, unfortunately, do not harmonize well with your song.
Shining Azurite First Flowing Words winces a little, but only a little, as she comes to a slow, soft close of her song. It was...performed at least, not terrible, but it seemed a poor offering to the voice. Still, she manages as it comes to an end, a grin. "I think you deserve the coins more than me! And I don't think I beleive you about not getting to sing very much. If that's true it is an utter crime!" she adds, a little starstruck!
Rishi Rishi pauses for a moment after the song ends, blinking as she comes out of her reverie. She blushes at the praise. "I...I am really only doing to be amusing myself. My voice was becoming much more of the amazing after I was being Chosen as well, so if you are to be doing the praising of anyone, you should be doing the honoring of the Lady." She glances over at the basket and waves it away. "No, no, I am not being in need of the money. It is being my gifting to you, for the opportunity of having the doing of this." She looks down, suddenly shy. "...Shall we be doing another of the songs?"
Shining Azurite There is a moment of consideration. "Ah! That must explain it. The Chosen are good at all that they do." she says, smiling. "I admit, it is shocking to me that I have had the pleasure to meet so many. Especally such fine ones as you." she adds. Though she shakes her head. "Alas, while I would love to. I admit, I have some food to tend to...and some practice. Perhaps...another time. If I have not offended?" she looks earnestly happy, simply rather...sheepish.
Rishi "Oh, of course! I am being most appreciative. And, if you are ever wishing to be finding me, I am usually being nearby the temple of the Lady of the Changing Waters." She gives you directions. "I would certainly be enjoying to be singing with you once more, if I was not doing the offending of you." Rishi pulls the other woman into a brief hug, drops an apple into her coin basket and gives her a warm smile and wave before heading off.
Shining Azurite First, for her part, considers, taking the apple and waves, packing up, and preparing to head home herself, looking thoughtful indeed...and considering her next move, the smile on her face easily dropping as she considers this development.
