Tepet Makara Somewhere in the Hundred Kingdoms, there is a forest known as the Higurashi Woods that grew over an abandoned graveyard. Tall trees growing even above the broken tombstones and mausoleums, while the chirping of cicadas overflow. However according to the water dragon's words, the anathema known as the Demon-Dragon Tyrant resides here for it is his temporary lairs to practice the dark arts in secret.

There is something strange however as the locals in nearby villages do not seem to know of any stories that match the description of an anathema, just spooky stories about the forest. If the locals didn't have urban legends about a silver anathema, how did the dragonblood know of their existence? One way to find out.

Titan Breaker He was already not entirely pleased when he was given this task by the dynast. He could sense no deception from him and yet the suggestion that he go after an anathema on his own on his behalf versus a wyld hunt being summoned was still...troubling. Granted, upon reflection he had to consider that Makara likely did suspect him to be some sort of supernatural being given the condition of the bandits and town in the aftermath of his 'intervention' then when he first met the man.

But still, something seemed....not right.

And now that the villagers have seemingly confirmed they know nothing of an anathema his brow crinkles with rising annoyance and frustration. It seems to him that Makara just wanted to get rid of him and he actually didnt' get paid for the bandits bounty either.

Nevertheless, the goliath presses his way through the forest, doing one more pass through as he heads into a deeper section of them in search of any signs of this supposed terror. His enormous iron ball and chain is slung over his shoulders and his hat is tilted down, shadowing his eyes as he prowls forward with earth rumbling footfalls.

Tepet Makara He can hear the flapping of wings but they certainly aren't that of cicadas nor whatever insects make their home here. The anathema is nearby and the giant can see him in the shadows of the tree branches. Just like what the anathema's title suggest, this creature is the chimera of a pterodactyl, some sort of lizard and of course man. His reptilian skin covered in moonsilver tattoos and bears a strange armor made with moonsilver and soulsteel, the latter used by the deathknights.

It's yellow ophidian eyes has been watching Volken all this time to observe his every move, like the moon above. Unbeknownst to the creature, he has been spotted already

Titan Breaker The giant slows his steps, becoming aware of the looming lurking presence near him and above him. He pauses, laying a hand upon a large tree and a frown creases his shadowed face.

For a minute he's sitll and, perhaps, from above it might look like he's debating on if he wishes to continue or move another direction.

But then he suddenly turns and jumps -- -towards- Makara. He springs up from the ground with so much force the earth seems to shake and the trees splinter and give way to his passage. He's then suddenly above the tree tops like an ascending meteor looming into Makara's path. His great iron ball is unslung, spinning overhead with impossible speed for its size save the colossal strength of the giant. He gives a loud "HNNNN!!"

And whipcracks the chain forward, snding the massive boulder sized object whirling through the air towards Makara as he reaches the height of his jump.

Tepet Makara As the iron ball was headed towards Makara, it thankfully missed him like an arrow missing it's target. Since he is spotted, he drops all pretenses of hiding in the shadows. "Ah the Titan Breaker is here. I heard a lot about you from other sources that I won't speak of for now." He grins like a Cheshire cat as he exits the darkness and into the full view of the moonlight, revealing his bestial glory. "You've caused quite a ruckus in the Hundred Kingdoms that you gained the attention of others, even those that may endanger you. Admittedly I'm impressed"

He chuckles like a fiendish villain of a story. Strangely, the anathema is not preparing to fight him. "I heard you broke a deathknight's necromantic creation but I doubt you did it by your sheer strength alone"

Titan Breaker Well he'd just jumped twenty feet or more into the air and swung an attack that went wildly wild and now is plummeting back down again. He impacts against the side of a tree but reaches a massive hand out to catch hold of it and swing around. The momentum of his fall and the rebound of his weapon pulls the tree clean up, not to mention the giants huge weight and strength. He's able to use it to brace himself regardless and he thunders to the ground as it crashes besides him while his free hand yanks the chain connected to the huge crude weapon and pulls it from its wild arc back towards him.

Makara is speaking but honestly, Titan Breaker can't hear most of it given the noise and circumstances of his attack. But he does hear enough.

"So...you -are- here.." he muses before dorpping the chains to his weapon.

"Why not 'strength' alone." he then asks followed by a grunting, "....It does not matter, hn?"

He does narrow his eyes somewhat...taking note of the silver tattoos and moonsilver. "Wait.... You are not a Deathknight..."

Tepet Makara "If I was a deathknight, I would have infested the hundred kingdoms with the dead by now. Thankfully I'm not a death driven chosen mindlessly obeying some powerful ghost master like the Mask Of Winters" He says with snark in his voice at the giant. "You have been attracting the wrong kind of attention lately, thankfully you also got my attention which may save your life if you are reported by a dragonblood to the Wyld Hunt"

The lunar then introduces himself to Volken. "If you already heard from someone, I'm Demon-Dragon Tyrant, Full Moon and necromancer. You already know my true name if you guess" He says with devious vagueries regarding his name.

Titan Breaker "My life, or theirs.."

The colossus seems disinclined to lower his guard stil but as he considers matters, bit by bit, he seems to relax. The mountain range of his physique seems to slide into a more resting place then the bunched up masses of sinew that was indicating his readiness to spring again. His enormous arms go slack at his sides though they seem within reach of whatever he has hidden under his long jacket.

"Hn..." he muses, considering the words of the dragon before him ...then.

"...You are the dynast that 'hired me'.." he concludes before considering his words carefully, "...The Lookshayan officer.." he then adds, "Mmmm.. Yes. I see now.."

Tepet Makara "I would have confronted you to see if you are an exalt or not, but the Lookshyan you meet suspect you and may alert the Wyld Hunt. She warned me while I was in Great Forks when I was in my human shape. Thankfully her warning fell into the wrong ears....my ears to be exact." He sighs as the scion of the Seventh Legion may complicate things for him and the Solar. "I'm sorry I deceived you but the payment I mentioned when you meet in me in a different shape is true. No strings attached besides one thing although it's more of a benefit to you than my own"

He mentions although he does not know if the giant will agree or not. "I need to deal with the Lookshyan you meet in order to prevent her words from reaching the Wyld Hunt. One single shikari who may hear it may rouse nearby Immaculates to your presence. Other than that, I need to figure out to prevent such incidents in the future. You need to disguise yourself as an exigent or some other thing that won't enrage a shikari just because you exist. Don't worry, I'll help you with it"

Titan Breaker What a mess. Volken should have lied to her when she asked what he was but something about her earnestness and their encounter at the landslide caused him to let his guard down foolishly.

However, he knew she might report him and still let her live. This was always possible.

"No."

His deep voice rumbles with certainity. It seems he may need some convincing as he says, "Over eager Dragonblooded seeking to prove themselves? Let them come. I will not hide what I am. I will not cause the sun to set when it must be at its zenith. But... I won't seek them out either..."

He frowns, eyes narrowing, "That we might have to face them is..the lot of our nature. Why sould we continue to run and hide? No..I will not hide from the wyld hunt. If she has....ignored my mercy to her then ...I ...will have to simply do what must be done.."

He doesn't seem to want to however, a little bit of weight and sadness there but only for a second. "...It's too bad.." he rumbles softly. "..Besides...how would you disuise me?"

Tepet Makara Makara was disappointed yet at the same time impressed by the giant's insistence to not care about him attracting the Wyld Hunt. "I see you are the type to not back down and hide from those that may seek your death. As much as I hate to admit it, I respect that." He sighs as there is no way with reasoning with an exalt this stubborn

"I mostly pretend to be dragonblood out of jealousy for their kind anyway. They walk in Creation without fears of scrutiny and beloved by those that adore them. I once wanted to be a dragonblooded when I was a child yet the power of the dragons didn't awaken in my veins, but I got the attention of someone else after Futile Blood that they blessed me with such power"

Titan Breaker "They walk that way because nobody is trying to do anything about it...."

Volken's voice rumbles with vague annoyance and frustration as he narrows his eyes and watches Makara.

He then slowly reaches down and wraps his enormous hand around the anchor chain and slowly raises it up to begin gathering his crude weapon back up again, this time to set it besides him with a shaking of the ground.

"You insist on hiding from them. Being jealous of them. But...who is doing something -about- them? Not many. Why? Fear. Shame. Confusion. Lack of leadership. Lack of drive. Lack of ambition...."

His voice quiets as if he's also chiding himself and then he says simply, "I am no fool. I will not 'hide' but neither will I go walking into death traps... I did not enter Greyfalls after all. With no cover story..would have been foolish."

He snorts and then says slowly, "I should ahve just told her I was an exigent. But..she had mentioned an exigent of strength of ....near or equal to my scale. Believable, perhaps. Not likely fo be able to pass as him...maybe. So it's too late."

Tepet Makara "Well you're not alone doing something about it. The Bull Of The North still lives even if I despise him while the Silver Pact watches the Realm like vultures waiting for a dying calf to die. Despite me being a chosen of Luna, I am not a part of their collective. Although I do not hate the dragonblooded since not all adhere to the Wyld Hunt as I met some in Great Forks....and I have a young brother who exalted as one." Makara says with a deep sigh.

"Did you truly tell you are an anathema or did she simply suspect you as one? I may do something about it if it's the latter"

Titan Breaker "I showed her..." responds Volken, sounding chagrinned now as he rests a hand on his hip. "She guessed what I did not say outright. I had...done a deed for a trapped group of travellers at her request. I showed her that theri teachings are all lies but in the end she simply couldn't shake what's been forced into her..."

Quieting for a moment, Volken frowns while rubbing at his bearded jaw. "...If she decided to report me, which she implied she might ve forced to....it's likely too late. A group of hot headed Dragonblood may already be sniffing around for me, likely from Lookshy as that's whre she's from. I don't hate the Dragonblood.."

He shrugs lightly about that, "It is not about hate. It...is about survival...and setting things right in Creation. For that to happen, they must be beaten back into submission or agree to leave our kind be. That won't happen without conflict."

Tepet Makara "So she requested you to aid a group of travellers in peril, but was shocked after she figured out you're anathema? If you weren't one, she would have been grateful for you saving them" Makara grits his fangs as he thinks of other ideas. "Since I meet her before in my human shape and she even warned me about you, I'll try to pry if she indeed told the Wyld Hunt about your existence"

But as Makara hears more of Volken's words, it seems they share some of the same goals as well. "Admittedly that's what I want and why I'm still hidden deep within the Realm. There is a civil war that will eventually erupt soon and I want to exploit it. Of course I expect there will be some bloodshed"

Titan Breaker To this, Volken falls silent. The politics of it. The civil war. The particualrs of that are beyond his keen and attempting to dwell on that for to long causes him to furrow his brow on consternation. Then he just shakes his head and says simply, "Why wait? We are still hunted. Killed. Kept from what is ours... A civil war may never come. What if theyr right themselves? Crown a new empress? You should prepare...now."

But he also knows such things are easier said then done.

But not impossible.

"I will not hide from them." he repeats, stating his intention on holding his ground and being himself. "If they come. They come. Ask her, sure. See what she says. But she may expect you to do so if she hasn't and may follow up on it..."

Tepet Makara "Besides your opinions on my plans about the Realm aside, if dragons do come for you I may aid you in fending them off when they do come for you" He says with an assuring tone even if it comes face to face with the princes of the earth. "But I will still try to meet her again....well in my dragonblooded guise of course to see if she alerted Immaculates
Titan Breaker At first the giant shrugs. He seems...more sullen, frustrated, bothered. Perhaps ungrateful.

But in truth he's just simply stoic and a good deal unsure despite his bravado. He looks away, frown deep now and eyes narrowed as he wrestles with his choice of mercy on the dragonblooded woman leading to this. He could have killed her and dealt with any witnesses and that would be that. There are many who would have.

"Thank you..." he finally says, a gratitude apparent in his voice despite the delay. He's simply ponderous and slow in hsi thoughts.

"Thank you." he repeats if it wasn't clear before and then he adds, "When you find something out, you sould come and find me again. I will continue my wanderings in these lands or consider moving closer to Nexus or Thorns..."

Tepet Makara The monstrous lunar nods despite the choice of choosing to stand against the Wyld Hunt if it comes. "I'll tell you if I met her again. If you are moving near Thorns instead of the former, I can provide you with what I know about the undead to better fight them. I also hope to pry secrets of these deathknights to know what they really are and what they serve. If you have the chance to go there, you can approach me
