The Professor	It was quite a calm day at the library. Not many visitors about to read books when there is a lot of other stuff one can use to spend their time. But even still there might be found a few people that actually came there to read or find some information One of such people is a pretty tall, well dressed man who seems to be in his early twenties, wearing a pair of stylish glasses and over all giving off sort of an accademic feel. He seems to be checking out the books in the aisle which holds the more scientific ones, probably looking for something that might be a good read.
Azure Blue	The Man known as Azure would walk into the library, heading directly towards the alchemical or scientific section of the library. Curious and desiring to learn more alchemical plans and designs, especially ones local to the area. He was quite tall, dressed in fine yet practical clothing. With three pieces of jewellry; namely, a blue amulet, a red amulet, and a gold ring. He would give a nod to the fellow person interested in the sciences.
The Professor	Seeing the man approache the same aisle and give him an acknowledging nod, he gives the man a smile and then goes back to looking through the books. He read this one already...Not in the mood for this one...Oh, he wrote this one, wonder if he could sneak an autograph in while noone is looking. But in the end, nothing interesting to read. In the end he decided to take a different approach. The man near him seems to have read a few books, maybe he has some reccomendations, so why not try to start a small talk. And so, due to the reasoning he approaches him. "Alchemy, huh? Quite an interesting branch of science, isnt it?"
Azure Blue	Azure would be distracted for a moment, absorbed by the book, having found and cross referenced a list of local ingredients and their properties. He would look up when prompted, and say, "Hm? Oh yes, most definitely. I'm an alchemist myself, but there's always more to learn." He says calmly and carefully, "And yourself? What are you looking into?"
The Professor	"Oh, if I knew myself." He answers, throwing his arms out, a bit theatricallt, but not so much as to hit something. "I just finished my latest research and I dint have anything else to do. What subject should I pick up next? What topic? Oh, the dilema." He is obviously overdramaticizing his struggle of being unable to pick a book, maybe in hopes that it would makenthe stranger more eager to reccomend him something or maybe just because he can.
Azure Blue	"Certainly a test from the Gods my new friend. I am Azure Blue, perhaps I can provide something for you to research? I need assistance with my attempt to create a treatise upon the local scenery, whilst working on looking into desigining a wood aspected manse to further benefit the plants I choose to grow."
The Professor	A smile appears on his face. This is even better than he expected, being offered a chance to assist with someone elses research. "With pleasure I would. Though alchemy itself isnt my strong suit, I am good at applying my knowledge across different subjects...Oh, by the way, people tend to call me Professor." He says as he extends his hand towards Azure, offering a handshake. "Pleasure to meet you."
Azure Blue	He would accept the handshake with a smile of his own. "I believe that we'll get along rather pleasantly. If you have need of finding me, I've taken lodging in a teahouse near the temple district." He says amicably. "I am a skilled manse maker, but do not know any local demense that are uncapped as of yet."
The Professor	"How fun. I didnt expect to meet someone so interesting today. How lucky." He obviously didnt expect to meet someone like Azure when thinking abkut what he would be doing this day, not thatvhe was really expecting to meet anybkind of people other than the usual commoners. However he still seems pleasantly surprised.
Azure Blue	Azure Blue Likewise appeared pleased, glancing down at his book as he ponders placing it back or withdrawing it for the moment to read elsewhere. Regardless, he turns his attention back to the Professor, and asks, "So what brings you to the City Professor?"
The Professor	This question makes him think for a moment. "Truth to be told, I dont even know much myself. I tent to travel wherever my two legs lead me, they tend to know places where interesting things happen quite well." He chuckles a little at that. "At least usually."
Azure Blue	"I can certainly respect that. I tend not to know where I'm headed either." He says, giving a little laugh as he does so. "I rarely travel with anyone, not anymore."
The Professor	"Is that so? You seem like a quite the interesting traveling companion to me." He remarks, looking the man up and down and wondering how come. "Well, but I assume that there isnt that many people willing to travel just wherwver their legs lead them."
Azure Blue	"Exactly. I find it takes a certain commitment. Especially if one isn't used to the wandering lifestyle. In my time, I have done a fair few interesting things alone, and a few interesting things with companions. It makes no difference to me going it alone, but it's always nice to have a companion."
The Professor	"So, a few interedting thngs you say? I would love to hear more, after all I would never miss an opportunity to hear a good story."
Azure Blue	"Ah but there's the kicker. I don't talk about it often. Not to people I just met anyway. Maybe in a few days when we've had a chance to talk more?"
The Professor	"Ah, not the kind to boat about ones stories I assume. Very well then, If you say in a few days I am taking your word for it." He the then decides to change the topic, after all, prying more would only make the man trust him less. "I hope you dont mind sharing more about your research with me though."
Azure Blue	He seems thankful at the change in topic. "Indeed. But I'm more than willing to share my research, I have no reason to hide that part of myself. I seek no acolades for what I do, only that I may help people with my discoveries." He reaches into a sling and withdraws a small book/journal, that appears filled to the brim with notes on all aspects of Craft. Clearly with a savant level of detail
The Professor	"Oh, I believe we will understand eachother really well." He seems almost surprised at how he found someone so similar to him with ideals and such.
Azure Blue	"you're welcome to that journal, I have several copies of it at my home. I like sharing it with people that might need it." He says with a pleasant smile.
The Professor	He takes the journal handed to him and flips through it a bit, checking some notes and such inside, seemingly impressed by how well is it written. "My, you trully are quite skilled if you wrote this by yourself. Color me impressed."
Azure Blue	"I try. I'm not the best at writing, but I am skilled at what I do." He says simply, not particularly caring about revealing too much right now.
The Professor	"Quite more than skilled it seems." He says, reading a bit more through the notes. "Now I wonder if my own knowledge will be able to keep up while assisting you. I guess even the professor can learn something new." He says, even though kinda knowing that he would probably be able to match the fellows knowledge, it never hurts to be a bit humble.
Azure Blue	"It's my passion." He says simply. Focused intently upon his response. "Tell me, what are your passions? If you'd be kind enough to share of course."
The Professor	"Oh, I have quite a few. Natural sciences for one, but also medicine and such stuff. I even dabble into the knowledge of the phenomenons that are rather hard to explain by the casual science." He explains, quite happy that he was asked about his interests. "I also practice martial arts a bit, mostly for the health benefitsh though. After all, healthy mind and healthy body go hand in hand."
