Titan Breaker The behemoth known as The Titan Breaker is not necessarily impossible to find if one has set their minds to track down his movements. Though he does not always seek to be overt and visible, when he does...he does so with quite the after shocks left in the wake of his passings. Raiders and bandit fortresses broken to the ground. Landscapes moved and altered. Creatures beaten back and the people both cheering for him and also terrified for his coming.

For his part he seems largely oblivious - or perhaps uncaring - of his reputation but it does exist and after some searching one might find him on the edge of the nation known as The Sun Kingdom within the depths of a rustic gambling hall with a deep central fighting pit where various martial artists thugs and ne'er doers of ill repute flex and preen and slam their bodies against each other to the cheers of the crowds as wages are cast and drinks flow. The entire place seems carved out of an old ancient ruin, high roofed with the central pit deep and far below and some ways away, sitting at a table alone, looms the mammoth figure of Volken. He watches the battles with a look of boredom as his massive chest swells and relaxes with his heavy breathing. Needless to say, most give him a wide berth.

Tepet Makara In the night sky, a creature soars above. At first, it maybe a Metagapalan Hawk but at close inspection, a draconic creature with the wings of sky titans. The creature then lands in his feet in the borders of the Sun Kingdom as he shifts into a much more human form. Although he still retains his tattoos and the true appearance of his armor yet he is shrouded by a dark hood.

He walks towards the gambling hall with no fear of the unsavory criminals that are common in this hall. If they dare cross him, he will not hesitate to resort to violence. As he is now in the hall, he approaches Titan Breaker to bring him some information. "Ah there you are, I'm here to give some news and your.....reward"

Titan Breaker The tattoos are a surprise to be sure. He's seen his human form before, after all, but the sight of the moonsilver causes Volken to react with an upriaised eyebrow and then a glance around the room.

The thugs and and criminals present seem to know better. Nevermind Titan Breaker's own monstrous presence but the sight of the tattooed imposing man joining him causes them to keep their attention focused on the fights in the pit. There's no cause, yet, to want to rise up against the two and it'd take the presence of someone stronger then they to cause them to risk it.

"Bold of you." notes Volken, simply, at Makara's presence. "Though I suppose it's safe enough here..."

After a heavy pause, the giant man takes a slow drink and then incline his head for Makara to have a seat next to him. "What news?" he rumbles roughly, "What reward?"

Tepet Makara "I mostly appear as this since I sometimes wander the Scavenger Lands and the East in this shape. Mostly to vent out that I'm living double lives" Although it's easy for him pretending to be a dragonblooded, it seems he is facing some inner troubles. "It's the Hundred Kingdoms after all, not every nation here is an Immaculate bootlick" He sighs as he gets a satchel from his pockets, carrying money as a reward to Volken.

"Thankfully I got a raise in my salary, so I'm as rich as a typical dynast. Although this reward is mostly apologies for lying to you...as for the news, the dragonblooded you meet is too afraid to tell anything to the Wyld Hunt. She even meet me in this identity and fled after I revealed myself as a Lunar Exalted" He says with a hint of guilt when mentioning the Air Aspect.

"She has no idea I'm a Lunar when it comes to my false self as a dragonblooded. The reason why I know this is because I talked to her and admitted it to me. I don't know why she didn't tell her encounters to the Wyld Hunt."

Titan Breaker The giant silently takes the satchel and weighs it with a massive hand. His eyes hood a touch as he listens to Makara and he then finally rumbles a slow, simple, "Thank you..."

He clearly wasn't expecting Makara to come through with the reward and had long put it from his mind.

At the talk of the Lookshayan soldier, he frowns lightly and then finally looks away. "That is...strange. Perhaps she thinks you will come for her but...that would seem to suggest that she -should- tell The Hunt for her own safety. Odd."

His silence returns and his eyes narrow a touch more before he says, "She could change her mind. Where did you tell her and why did you? How long ago?"

Tepet Makara "I met her twice after her encounter with this identity. Ereyo was very distraught when I talked to her about the lunar that totally isn't me" He says with a hint of sarcasm. "I didn't even scare her when she unfortunately came across my identity as Demon-Dragon Tyrant. I suspect there is something more to it when it comes to her fears of Anathema even if princes of the earth raised in Shogunate successor states are like that" He wonders if the fear is something deep seated regarding Ereyo.

"You are right, she could change her mind anytime but her hesitation in telling them should stall it. The reason why she met me in this identity was because I was practicing my necromancy in a graveyard and she was passing by. I was wearing my hood and thankfully she didn't see through my true face"

Titan Breaker "...Perhaps a past encounter...."

Volken concludes that as a possiblity as he leans back again, eyes narrowing. "Perhaps a Wyld Hunt she was part of or knew of was destroyed by an anathema and it scarred her."

He shoudl just let this go at this point. She's of no particular threat it would seem and the likelyhood of her going to the Hunt is slim. But...

"Such fear. Hatred. Not good. Will lead to her end. Waste of potential. Waste of power." He drums his huge fingers on the table, shaking it with the idle use of his gargantuan strength, "...What will you do?"

Tepet Makara "She did have prosthetics. It might be from the battle against the first exalted she encountered" He deduced the reason for her phobia regarding the Anathema. The expression of guilt is now more pronounced even if he has a hood. "I wish I could just have told her that I was a fellow dragonblood that somehow knows necromancy but it may risk my mask of being a dragonblooded"

It seems he has plans on how to deal with it but it's equally risky. "Currently, I've been subtly trying to convince her that Anathema aren't inherently evil. I just pretend to be the typical Wyld Hunt crazed prince of the earth while doing it. I also feed her some information about Lunars, since let's just say there was once a connection between my kind and the Terrestrials that may be lost after the first age, but there may be hints of it in the Caul. Her curiosity about the Caul peaked when I mentioned it."

"There is also another plan in mind although I'm still on the crossroads whether to execute it or not as it's reckless and may do more harm than good. I would show myself to her as Demon-Dragon Tyrant once again and try to reason with her that I bring no harm while apologizing for scaring her." Even he cringes at this reckless plan

Titan Breaker Volken the Titan Breaker isn't known for his brightness of thought but even he cringes slightly as he hears that last part.

However, it's more so from personal experience nad having learned the hard way.

"I thought the same." he offers, "I revealed myself to her as a Solar after she saw me do a good deed to help trapped travellers who were caught by a landslide at her request. She brought me food and after and as she talked and my nature came up I foolishly revealed what I was after she compared me to an Exigent of note in Great Forks..."

He shakes his head, expression shadowed by his hat. "I see now why it went so wrong. I first brought up possibly being lunar and it seemeed to terrify her. When I said what I actually was she continued the conversation and was cordial but guarded. I don't think she can be easily reasoned with. Not if lunar exalted are a particular trauma..."

Tepet Makara "I may try to talk to her about how she lost her leg which resulted in her prosthetics. She hasn't opened up about it, but she does trust me in my dragonblooded guise although I'll do it slowly rather than immediately for it is a sensitive subject" He sighs in relief as at least she didn't suspect him while he walked as Tepet Makara. "So you mentioned you may be a Lunar even if you are in fact a solar when you first meet her? I suspect the first anathema she meet was a Lunar Exalted. One of them might have caused her grievous injuries"

He then ponders on what to do should he met her again. "If I meet her again....well in my dragonblooded guise that is, I'll try to see if she can confront her fears. But it is just as risky for it might make her face the anathema and possibly me in this identity if she does get over it. I will also try to pry more information on the Lunar she might have first encountered"

Titan Breaker "When she asked me what I was I asked her if she would dine with a Lunar Exalted." respons Volken, "I didn't claim I was one but my point was to try and open the door to her to...discuss with her the fact that 'anathema' are not all evil. That she was sitting and eating with one. I thought that by not going to immediately say I was a SOlar and to instead use the Chosen that she'd be more likely to encounter ...was a good idea."

Volken pauses and then says simply "It was not. I see now that it put her immediately on edge. I should have l just lied and said I was an Exigent but I was bieng prideful considering she compared me to the one she'd met in Great Forks."

Understandable. They are both giants. It's debatable who is bigger even though certainly Makara knows the other well enough to know that he has certain 'tricks' up his sleeve for added magnitude.

"Anyway. I set her on edge and now this mess is here. I wouldn't press her too much if I were you. She's very smart. You may blow your cover."

Tepet Makara "Ah I misheard, But I'll try not to blow my cover. The only thing I know about her personal stuff is that she has trouble regarding her mother thanks to the letters given to her. But it's not relevant to this subject sadly" He sighs as he gets a flask of wine and sips from it. "I possibly shown her my other side since I'm sometimes tired...tired of hiding my true nature from others as for years, I pretended to be a terrestrial"

"One of my other plans is to show her that even if we are branded anathema, we are still chosen blessed with the power of gods who protect Creation even if I pretend I hate anathema. But such plan require careful orchestration and I'm good at disguising but bad at creating elaborate scheme"

Titan Breaker "The Dragonblood have generations of teaching to overcome. We are considered 'anathema' because we are considered creatures opposed to the order of things and ar a threat to Creation. It will be hard to show her otherwise. You seem invested in her..."

Volken quiets, unsure of what else to say on that matter. HE's only truly met her once but it seems Makara has a connection he's trying to forge.

"If you wish my help....I ill give it to you." he says though there is some grouchiness in his tone. He doesn't like issues like this but he can't help but have some responsbility.

"Perhaps it's time I meet her again."

Tepet Makara "Fine, I feel guilty at scaring her even if I didn't intend to. I also have views I got after my insights on both dragonblooded and lunars as I walk between two worlds. Dragonblooded call us Anathema, while others of my kind call them usurpers. It's a never ending cycle of hatred that I wish it will just stop. That's why I'm not part of the Silver Pact" He admits his opinions that may be disfavorable to other lunars especially those part of the Silver Pact.

"Ereyo doesn't seem to be the type that's actively a Wyld Hunt supporter unlike the typical Ledaals despite her fear and hate of anathema. I only defend and fight dragonblooded if they are the zealous types that wants our heads....such as the infiltrators in Great Forks tournament who inform the Wyld Hunt. A Lunar that slays outcastes who do not care or know about the Wyld Hunt are no different. Thankfully you are far from the city. If you try to meet her again...say that Demon-Dragon Tyrant is sorry and I have an apology gift for her"

He then gets a jade necklace with a rosary depicting the dragon Mela. It seems to be finely made although not a sorcerous artifact. It seems it was created during the Shogunate age, possibly originating from the Blessed Isle. "If she asks it's cursed or something, it's not. I would have given this to her in my dragonblooded guise in order to comfort her from the trauma, but I want this to be an apology gift coming from me...the real me. It's an heirloom given to me by my Melaist uncle before I was assigned at the Northern campaign and when I was just a mortal soldier" There is also a letter attached to it.

Dear scion of the Seventh Legion. I apologize for scaring you after our unfortunate meeting in that desolate old battlefield. I do not know what fears you have for my kind besides your Immaculate teachings. I have no interests in doing something malicious to you but, I do not need this necklace anymore and so, it's for someone that has the dragon's grace. It was given to me by my family as I marched in the North against the Bull as good luck against the anathema. Ironic isn't it that I became one after I was cursed yet blessed by the moon. I held into this rosary even after I became a silver monster of the night. I felt that I don't deserve this heirloom anymore for I have been forsaken by the five dragons. You're the only one I know that deserves the dragon's blessing for you are a prince of the earth.

Yours truly, Demon-Dragon Tyrant.
Titan Breaker The irony here is that Volken can't read.

He takes the gift nevertheless and looks over the letter and then finally says,l "If I meet her again I will give this to her but I Dont' think she will accept it from me or believe the words on it. IT's more likely she'll see it as a trick and an attempt to woo her with the sorcery of the anathema. But...I suppose if you're this insistent on trying and concerned about her then so beit."

He shakes his head and rumbles, "I don't intend to go to Great Forks. I will next go to Nexus once my business here is finished. If I find my steps taking me towards Great Forks again I will let you know."

He places the letter and the gift into the same satchel containing his payment and seals it up.

"Be careful that you don't compromise the work you've done to get as far as you've gotten over this one soldier from Lookshy. But...perhaps she can become an ally one day. We shall see..."
