Black Pearl One of the benefits of owning a comlpex like the Chateau is that Pearl has a number of luxurious rooms to herself. One of them has a set of baths from hot to cold, and a warmed pool, with various benches and tables, towels and more. Bathing clothes have been provided for any and all who wish, and the servants have been instructed to provide privacy for the meeting with her friends, leaving only a tray of cold fruits, and small pieces of cheese and meats, and one with various drinks, from cold water to juices, liquors, and hot water for tea. Anything to provide the proper comforts.

Pearl herself is wearing a white suit and robe, and is, astonishingly, green and her hair is flowing like seaweed or kelp.

Rishi Rishi sweeps into the room, her long, tight robe leaving lttle to the imagination about her physique. "Pearly!" and she immidately sweeps the other woman into a tight hug and deep kiss, her wings wrapping around them both, to suffuse them with Rishi's heady scent. "I am being most thankful for your helping with this. I may be doing the needing of you to be convincing the Ereyo."
Amilar Ereyo Not long after Rishi, Ereyo arrives in her familiar casual attire, a shimmering silken kimono - dark blue on the outside, with sky blue lining. It displays large, lavish embroidery in golden thread, a pair of herons stalking fish on the banks of a reed-overgrown pond. As usual, she has left her daiklave in the care of the Chateau's discreet staff.

She smiles brightly at her friends. "Thank you so much for the invitation, Black Pearl. Rishi...", she inclines her head towards both of them in turn. "It's so nice to finally meet you two together. So, what is this all about?"

Black Pearl Pearl gladly embraces Rishi, and the kisses don't stop until Ereyo finally comes in. "I may be the hostess, but Rishi is here to help with your nightmares. And if there's any way I can assist as well, I would be glad to." There is a reluctant release so that Pearl's arm is around Rishi's waist.

"Thank you for coming. I hope that this will help."

Rishi Rishi is all bright smiles with her arm around Pearly as she greets Ereyo. "Ah, thank you for doing the coming, Ereyo. I am having the two things for you. First," Rishi rummagages around in her satchel, and pulls out the artifact, glowing with many suspended pearls. "I did the finding of some of the journals of the Dragon Blooded Captains from the Age of the Firsts and did the reading of them into this." Rishi colors slightly. "I did the reading in the Old Realm because my accent is not being so much the noticable, so you should be finding it the easier to be doing the understanding."
"The second...One of the passages did the describing of the power of one of the Silver Exalted. And, I think that you were being exposed to the same technique."

"Which means, I am thinking I can be doing the pulling of that nasty nightmare from your head now that I am knowing what it is doing. With the help of the Pearly."
Amilar Ereyo The Dragon-Blooded's smile falters a bit after she has had a few seconds time to take in the situation... and the physical intimacy between the other women. She blinks rapidly in surprise before catching herself, smile blooming again, with a hint of uncertainty.

Whatever confusion about the exact nature of Rishi's and Pearl's relationship she might have felt, it's all blown away when Rishi pulls out the artifact. Ereyo listens attentively, gaze fretting over the delicate wonder, and the knowledge now safely contained within its depths.

"Journals from the First Age...?" Her eyes sparkle with heartfelt curiosity. A few quick steps take her closer to Rishi, and by extension, to Pearl. She looks at them both, and immense relief floods her features.

"What exactly is that 'technique' you're speaking of? Some obscure spell? A curse?" She frowns, immediately throwing another question after the first: "You think you can cure what is haunting me? How?"

Rishi Rishi tilts her head to the side in thought, her dark hair flowing over her shoulders like a liquid, almost splashing Pearl before it settles down. "A Curse is probably being the best of the way to be describing it. The journal did the talking of the assault upon the stronghold of the Fae and that the army was to be doing the holding the exterior and not to be looking, for the Leader, the Silver Exalt would be doing the handling of it, in their 'Inescapable Nightmare Terror Form,' which would 'bind all who did the seeing of it with fear and nightmares for all of the time.' This is doing the sounding like what you are feeling, yes?"
"It is being most of the fortunate for us that one of the people in the army did the seeing of this form, because the journal was saying that the nightmares were doing the passing once the person did the sparring against the Silver Exalt. Apparently the winning is making the curse do the breaking." Rishi smiles. "So, first, you need to be doing the relaxing in the pool, then we will do the explaining for how you are to be doing the winning, then I will be doing the water magic to be pulling the remains of the curse out. Simple, yes?"
Amilar Ereyo Ereyo's frown deepens, and her understanding with it. She pulls at her fingers in visible agitation. There is a long silence after Rishi has finished, waiting expectantly to be filled by the Air aspect's response.

"I..." Her eyes scurry towards Black Pearl, than return to settle on Rishi. "I don't know. It doesn't sound particularly simple to me." She swallows, hard. "If you say so... you were the one doing all the reading. Quite a lot, by the looks of it." Her fingers, trembling slightly, point towards the Essence-laden pearls floating inside the glass sphere.

After a shaky breath, she nods at her friends: "But... before we talk about the process, let me get something off my chest." A smile manifests on her tired features, bright and clear as the spring sky. "You both already did so much to aid me in my struggle against this fiend. I don't know how I came to deserve so much support from two people who were complete strangers to me not so long ago. And yet, I now count the two of you among my closest friends."

Here, she pauses to bow deeply before them. "Whatever happens now, even if this endeavour fails - which it hopefully won't - I will not rest until I have repaid this debt to you in kind. This, I swear on my honor as a scion of the Gentes Major of Lookshy, and Chosen of the Elemental Dragon of Air."

When she resurfaces after that bow, tears of joy glisten in her eyes.

Black Pearl Pearl returns the bow deeply, then rises. "It isn't about what you deserve at all," she says. "Oh, I could be cynical about this and say it's about collecting favors to use later, but even that just is hollow. I--" she breaks off and leans agianst Rishi again, "--/We/ want the world to be a better place. And helping you with your nightmares is a thing we can do. I'm of the Realm, you of the 7th Legion, and Rishi from Ysyr--not chosen by the Dragons, but one who has been truer of heart and closer family than any of my House, let alone the others. So...perhaps it is that we want to do good. Perhaps, this is just what it is that we will. But I am glad if you can have the nightmares cease. Beyond that? Let's let friendship continue, and not speak of debts or favors. A friend--not an ally, but a /friend/--is a treasure beyond imagination."
Rishi Rishi looks ...troubled by this vow. She looks at Pearly, pulls her close for a moment, then says, "If this is doing the working and you can do the listening to those journals without the fear or the anger...then I will do the telling of you something. If you cannot do the honoring of the vow then, I will not be doing the holding of you to it."
Rishi looks at Pearly for a moment, her expression awed and loving, before pulling her into another hug. "Thank you my love. This...this is what I am doing the wishing for, yes. To be doing the helping of the people. That...that is being all I am wanting."
Amilar Ereyo The Lookshyan raises an eyebrow at the gestures of affection - still a bit taken aback, but coming to terms with it, not judging - and smiles warmly at the sight of the pair.

"Then we have the same goal. Maybe we can create a brighter future... together, even if it might take us centuries." She quickly brushes the tears from her eyes with her sleeve, then gives Rishi a puzzled look. "Why would you say something like that? Of course I will be able to honor my vow." Just as quickly, her mood returns to elation. "I'm looking forward to reading what you have spoken to the artifact. As for the two of you... Did you play games with me on purpose? Rishi, when you told me about the woman you love - why didn't you mention it was Black Pearl?"

Although her words make it seem like an accusation, her tone sounds more like she is teasing them for keeping her in the dark about their relationship for so long.

Black Pearl "We can discuss this later. First...first, let us get this taken care of. Ereyo, let's go into the pool. And if you want, I'll hold you as I did before. Otherwise, I'll just be there, supporting and comforting as I can."
Rishi Rishi smiles, hugs Pearly, then sighs. "It is being better if I am not doing the telling everyone about our relationship. You are having the knowing of what the Dragon Parents are being like."
Ereyo's other objections are waved away, as Rishi nods. "Yes let us all be doing the getting into the baths. And Pearly, be most of the supportive." Rishi strips out of her robe, revealing very skimpy underclothes as she wades into the pool, turning around and smiling at the other two.
Amilar Ereyo "Uh... I think a massage would be too distracting for this. Thank you, Pearl. I appreciate the offer. I really do." Ereyo finally gathers her composure, and nervous anticipation stirs the air around her.

This time, the Air Dragon has brought her own bathing clothes, having anticipated the setup and prepared for it. Reluctantly, she removes the layers of her kimono - thankfully, it's one of the less complex garments of this type - and follows Rishi into the pool. The blue of her garments is almost the same shade as the robe's lining. Despite sitting tight on her skin, they were clearly made more for comfort than... showing off. Pearl can observe her testing the water with a single toe before going in, exactly like the first time she went into this very pool.

An almost inaudible hiss escapes between her clenched teeth at the sudden shift in temperature and texture when her burn scars become submerged in the liquid, but a few controlled breaths help her relax. She looks to her friends for guidance. "What now? How exactly is this going to work?"

Black Pearl Pearl slips into the water afterwards, and moves behind Ereyo, simly standing behind, and letting her hands rest on the Air-aspect's shoulders. "Then no massage, but I'm here, and you can lean on me. Relax, and Rishi will do the rest..."
Rishi Once Ereyo is in the pool, Rishi says "It would be best if you could be doing the floating. I will do the supporting of your leg." At Ereyo's hiss, Rishi quietly and calmly says, "If you are ever wishing for these scars to be healed, I can be doing the fixing of that."
Once Ereyo is settled, Rishi stands next to her and says, in a voice that is warm and calm, a voice that is certain, the voice of a supportive friend, "This may be most difficult, but you are needing to be knowing that...you have already done the defeating of this monster. This ...Anathema that did the destroying of you, left you maimed and broken, you have done the defeating of them."

	 "For you did the refusing."

Rishi knocks on the artifact leg. "You refused to be staying broken, to be staying destroyed. You have done the trying to get better, to be recovering. You have not done the letting of them win, which is why they cannot be having the hold on you now."

"You Won. Be Not Afraid!" And Rishi's anima erupts into shining (moon?)light filtered through water.
Amilar Ereyo "I could have had them removed long ago", comes Ereyo's clipped response on the subject of her scars, even as she settles into the required position. "I chose not to." Every syllable vibrates with sorrow.

After that, she falls silent, looking into Rishi's eyes, with grey storm clouds swirling through her violet irises, and simply listens, body floating almost level with the water's surface, feeling Pearl's comforting touch on her shoulders.

When Rishi mentions the leg, naming it as a symbol of the Air aspect's defiance, Ereyo's eyes widen, and a shiver runs down her spine. White earthen light momentarily curses through minute Essence channels on the surface of the prosthesis' jade plates when the "Exigent" knocks on them.

Ereyo absorbs the sight of Rishi's anima in wonder, eyes dancing about, and then she closes them. A deep sigh slowly drains from her chest. With the air escaping her lungs, her body becomes more heavy, just a tiny bit. It's harder to stay afloat like this, but in truth, she is relaxing into the reality of what had kept her awake for so many long nights:

That she isn't powerless, not doomed to be a victim. That the fiend can be beaten. That she already fought, and won the battle.

Black Pearl "Not only have you won, you are not alone. You have friends to help you, and you can stand strong among them," Pearl says. "A battle is not won by a single soldier, but by all of them working together. You of the Seventh Legion know this. Here, here and now, we are your comrades in arms. And victory by any is victory for all...."

She waits, encouraging, as the air becomes damp and misty, but utterly fresh as Pearl's anima becomes evident.

Rishi Rishi's eyes are narrowed, watching Ereyo's soul and the thing coiled about it like a centipede. When her soul shines with storm light and the thing recoils, Rishi's hand strikes like a diving hawk or a striking snake, yanking the thing free while she says something in Firetongue.
Anyone watching will see Rishi's hand vanish for a moment, then reappear holding a giant silver centipede with deer antlers. Rishi turns her back quickly to the other two, wings flaring to hide what she's doing. After a disconcerting *SNAP* and wet *GULP* Rishi turns back to the others, the thing gone.

Rishi gives Ereyo a concerned look. "How are you doing the feeling now?"
Amilar Ereyo Thankfully, with her eyes closed, Ereyo is spared a final confrontation with the monster that has done such a horribly excellent job at tormenting her. Even when the unsettling succession of sounds and harsh words reaches her ears, she presses her lids shut even more firmly, resisting the temptation to look with all her might.

Only when Rishi addresses her directly does the Dragon-Blooded finally, tentatively, risk a look. Nothing to be scared of is left to see for her, so she settles on Rishi, takes a deep breath, and smiles at her with immense relief.

"Like a warstrider has just been lifted from my chest. I think..." After a brief pause during which her eyes briefly loose focus, she steadies herself again, and the storm clouds vanish to reveal clear, bright violet sky.

"I think it's... gone", Ereyo whispers.

And then she bursts into tears.
